Question: Good ideas for a honeymoon? Posted: 25 Sep 2015 03:39 PM PDT Well, we never put much thought about because we thought we didn't want one...but now we do. Money is not a big factor. Just two things: - we don't want Las Vegas - we don't want someplace too crowded |
Posted: 25 Sep 2015 11:47 AM PDT Both a christian's but one is more spiritual than the other. How is your relationship working out with a person who is a christian but doesn't go to church or read the bible as much or at all. If they have non-christian close friends how are they impacting your marriage. What are the spiritual consequences of such a union? will God still bless and protect the family if the husband is spiritually leading and growing successfully but the wife is not? |
Question: Thoughts on Honorary Bridesmaids? Posted: 25 Sep 2015 09:22 AM PDT I have 2 people that I want to be my wedding, but 4 other people that I want to have be honorary bridesmaids. Is it okay to have them wear a similar dress to my bridesmaid and maid of honor? I want them to still be in pictures, be apart of the planning and everything like that. It's not that I don't want them to be apart of my wedding, I'm just closer to the 2 then the other 4. |

Question: Is it haram to have a western-style wedding ceremony? Like days after the nikah? Posted: 25 Sep 2015 12:04 AM PDT What I mean is like how the father escorts the bride to the groom, without priests and vows of course. After that, the groom kisses the bride's forehead instead of lips. White wedding dress that covers up aurah of course. And the groom wearing a suit? Then like after the kiss both of the bride and groom sit together and do traditional stuff (Im a Malay Muslim).. right after that the close friends and family give speeches?? And also having bridesmaids and groomsmen? Plus, the throwing of the bouquet of the flowers to bridesmaids? What Im basically asking is.. Is it okay for two Muslims to have a western-style wedding but without the religious Christian stuff and haram stuff(pork, wine, alcohol)? |
