Question: I bullied someone and now I feel terrible? Posted: 12 Sep 2015 05:01 PM PDT When I was around 13 or 14, I became really jealous of a celebrity. She's a famous singer/actress, and everybody loves her. I didn't have any friends at the time and I was picked on in school a lot. I also didn't have a great home life, and she just seemed perfect. She had everything that I wanted in my life. I used to leave some not very nice comments about her on gossip websites. Not a lot of them, but there are a few that I can remember. I used to say that she's a bad singer, she's fake, she's always out for attention, and she wouldn't be as famous as she is if she wasn't in a relationship with the person she was with at the time. I never sent any hate to her through social media or anything but I still feel bad. Even though I know that she doesn't care about my opinion. She doesn't know who I am. I'm nothing to her. I know that, but I can't help but to feel bad about the things I've said. This was almost 4 years ago, and I don't know why, but I've been thinking about it a lot recently. I need advice.
Question: Why can't my friend grasp the concept of Meetup lol?? Posted: 12 Sep 2015 04:54 PM PDT I have a casual friend who I actually made THROUGH Meetup, two years ago! But the last time I hung out with him a few months ago, he still had some stigma against Meetup! He wants to meet new people, and he said: "I don't know about Meetup... I feel like it's an organized social event... But I GUESS the point is to meet someone there, and hopefully hang out OUTSIDE the Meetup?" .... Am I wrong or: is my friend STUPID? He was talking to ME! A friend he MADE through MEETUP! How can he not "get" the point of Meetup???? LOL help!!!???
Question: Any Opinions or Advice? Posted: 12 Sep 2015 04:47 PM PDT So today i cut off my best friend, the reason why is she would make racist jokes, and call me names. I felt uncomfortable and really upset when she did so. Every time something happens to me i overthink the situation. Any advice on how i should of handled this or did i do the right thing? Idk if i will regret doing that , probably won't since it was a internet friendship for over 3 years. Someone please tell everything will be okay, or some advice on how to keep my mind off this especially since school is starting for me.
Question: Should I Try To Be One Of The Guys? Posted: 12 Sep 2015 04:33 PM PDT So last school year, i was one of the guys, and this year, theres a new girl that always hangs out with the guys. (Shes my friend). There's like seven boys and then her. At least 3/7 of the boys like her... Do they think of her as one of the guys or just the pretty girl that hangs out with the guys? So i really want to hang with the guys, but i dont know if the boys would want me to hang with them... I can tell you now that NONE of those boys like me, and im fine with that, but i just want to hang with them... And now the boys are saying im only loyal to my friends that are girls...Should i just start hanging with them again? So I Havr Three Questions: Is she one of the guys or the pretty girl with the guys? Should i just hang with them again? Will the boys "accept" me?

Question: Why friend wants to dump my brother? Posted: 12 Sep 2015 04:19 PM PDT A close friend of mine has been dating my twin brother for over several months now, a pairing everyone new was going to happen because they'd acted like a couple before they were even a couple. However, she recently told me that she doesn't know how she feels about my brother, and that she doesn't feel like their a couple. (Probably due to them already acting like a couple, things didn't change when it was made official.) She also recently told me that shes bisexual (which is fine with me) and that she prefers girls (which makes sense with her dating my brother) but she also mentions that she met someone that she really liked online, a girl from Ohio. I got onto her about internet safety and the like, but was also worrying about my brother. I don't care if they break up, its natural I get it. But I worry that my brother will be heartbroken and bitter, and cause a strain on our friendship. I'm extremely close to my brother, probably because we don't live together so I don't spend all my time with him, but I also don't want to lose any of my friends from a break up, what do I do?
Question: My friend graduated last year and school isnt the same. Help.? Posted: 12 Sep 2015 04:10 PM PDT I go to a VERY small school. There are 140 students K-12. So in the High School, last year there were only 5 of us. 1 student in Grade 12 which means, only 1 graduate. Our whole class was SO close. We have all known each other since we were young and we were like a little family. So the grade 12 student (my friend) graduated so clearly he isnt at school anymore. Its just like the little things that I seriously miss. Like a lot of our courses are done over the computer, they are called "Long distance courses". So we have a room for the long distance courses. My friend was usually the only one in there cause he was the only one who took those courses. It used to be so full of space and he just made the room feel awesome. But this year they COMPLETELY changed that room and made it a grade 9/10 classroom. Its just the small things. His presence. Everyone can tell that hes gone. Not just cause we cant see him, but we can actually feel that he's not there anymore and hes not coming back. It just sucks. I miss him so much. At school he, one of my other good friends and I always hung out together and now he's gone and its just so different and weird and I hate it! I miss him so much. What should I do? (i'm a girl)
Question: Is there something wrong with me? Posted: 12 Sep 2015 04:09 PM PDT I have never been social. at school I don't even talk well I did not talk when I was still in school now I do online school cause I did not like being around the other kids.I stay in my room 100 percent of the time I hate being around other people and if I am around other people I get annoyed and really mad.Is there something wrong with me?Why am I so anti social?
Posted: 12 Sep 2015 03:41 PM PDT What is up with that? I've met probably two people like this so far. This new girl's number I got wants to hang out, but constantly tries to push the agenda to drinking at bars, in order to meet new people. It's really strange because the activities she suggests aren't ones where you can even get to know anyone (like me, since we barely know each other). Do you have experiences with people like this? How did things end up? You're right. There's nothing 'wrong' with this. I'm asking for opinions because I had an unpleasant experience with someone before who tried to 'use' me whenever she wanted to go out and no one else was available. I was totally fine with it, IF I also wanted to go out. We eventually became closer, but I realized in the end she was a total user and it all started with a similar scenario where she basically wanted to hang out at bars instead of getting to know me. I'm being a little careful.
Question: What are some fun things to do in town with a group of friends? Posted: 12 Sep 2015 03:31 PM PDT So my 16th birthday is going to be in february. I know it s a long ways away but I really like to have some sort of plan up, especially if I m going to have to save. I want it to be super fun and memorable. There will be about 3 friends out in town with me. Previous things I ve done are ice skating or arcade places. Any other ideas? Also, some fun things to do that night at my house, where I will have 6 friends over. Please give several options, I really want this to be awesome for everyone!
Question: Do you think I have the right to be mad in this situation? Posted: 12 Sep 2015 03:22 PM PDT So I just found out that my best friend is going to Homecoming this year with a guy that she knows I used to have a crush on. My attempt at a long story short: he liked me in middle school and I "dated" him for like a week because I felt bad. But after I became good friends with him and realized how great he actually is. So I ve always felt bad because I felt I missed my chance with him when I had it. Now we re Seniors though, and I don t really want to date him anymore, (its embarrassing but I realize now he s probably gay) but I ve never had crushes on anyone else that lasted as long or hurt as much as he did. Pretty sure I just liked him so much because he is the only guy whose Ever told me he liked me. And my friend knows this! So now she randomly mentions they are going together (as friends). But seriously!? I feel like its no big deal and I shouldn t care but I m really hurt and mad at her! But I can t tell her because like I said I m embarrassed. So, does anyone think that was rude of her? Or (because my life is very stressful at the moment) am I just being dramatic?
Question: How to apologise to my friend? Posted: 12 Sep 2015 03:21 PM PDT Yesterday we were at a party and my friend got pretty drunk and we had no way of getting home as our train got cancelled. I ended up getting really stressed as I was trying to sort everything out while my friend was talking really loudly and just being drunk. I ended up saying some pretty mean stuff, like **** off and be quiet and your annoying, because tbh I was scared and then we ended up arguing and we ignored each other the whole night and in the morning. I would normally expect her to apologise as earlier she did some pretty hurtful things but a few weeks when the situation was in reverse she was amazing to me when I couldn't even stand and got me home safely. How do I apologise in a message, I want quite a meaningful paragraph type thing but I find it really difficult to write. Help!?!

Question: Does this mean that my friend doesn't care about my birthday? 10 points? Posted: 12 Sep 2015 03:09 PM PDT We spoke about this on September 9 Here's how the conversation went: Me: My birthday is on September 28 Friend: what are you going do do for your birthday? Me: I don't know Friend: I will try and make it out 1st what does he mean "Try"? 2nd make it out to what nothing has been planned for that day?
Question: Why does she avoid me like the plague? Posted: 12 Sep 2015 03:04 PM PDT My friends mom and I used to be really close up until about 5 years ago when we got into an argument over something completely stupid. I know she's no longer upset about that and we even seemed to get along just a few weeks ago but that was short lived. I sometimes catch her looking at me and sometimes we make eye contact before one of us looks away (usually her). At first I thought she was attracted to me but now I'm not even sure anymore. She's really attractive despite gaining some weight but I rarely think of her like that, just the usual fantasy every guy has. Anyways today she complained that I slammed the door to my friend and his dad (I dont remember that but I guess it woke her up). And when I got out of the bathroom she was at my friends room coming back down the hall and she looked at me and then down and I feel like **** every time I see her now. Is there any way to fix it? She was always nice to talk to but now things are awkward. It doesn't affect my friend or his dad as far as I know but it makes me uncomfortable now.
Question: I have trouble standing up for myself? Posted: 12 Sep 2015 02:57 PM PDT I was raised by my aunt. I love her to death but she kind of raised me to be a sissy. She is a religious women, good hearted and I know she only meant well for me but I turned out a pussy. She always taught me to ignore bullies and if they tried to get physical to just run because fighting is wrong. This one time when I was about 10 this kid grabbed my skateboard right out of my hands and stole it and ran home. I knew who the kid was and everything and I told my aunt and she said to just let him keep it because she "didn't want problems in the neighborhood". (It's not a rough area either). That stuff used to happen all the time. And in high school she didn't let me play sports because it was dangerous, or lift weights because lifting heavy things can get you hurt. Now I'm 21 years old and I can't get rid of this mentality. People constantly walk all over me and I have a hard time defending myself. I went to a bar a few weeks ago and this drunk asshole was starting stuff. I ignored him until he got close so I told him to back off and gripped me up by the shirt. Even though the dude was smaller than me I was terrified and I just froze up and was shaking. I looked like a complete pussy. I can't take it anymore. I'm not assertive enough. You can tell I'm a wimp just by talking to me because I'm soft spoken. What should I do about this? I need help!!!
Question: Feel so dumb for liking this guy? Posted: 12 Sep 2015 02:50 PM PDT So about a month ago I stopped talking to someone I met on Plentyoffish and I feel really dumb for getting too attached. I should have known to walk away when he told me the second day we talked that he had just gotten out of a long term relationship, but no I ignored it and then I really began believing we had a connection. We seemed like we had a lot in common, went through some of the same things. Then one night he didn't talk to me for a long time even when I tried contacting him. One of the reasons was because he found out his recent ex was going to be at a birthday party he was going to be at and he said he unblocked her on Facebook to talk to her so he would make it clear he didn't want any problems. Well they went from talking through text to talking on the phone for about 10 minutes. I admit I was upset.. why would you want to talk to your ex if you like me? Thats what I didn't get and why wouldn't you want to talk to me first before her? I knew right there and then I needed to stop talking to this guy because there was already drama. Well a few days after that he texted me saying "what's up?" I never responded cause I knew I needed to move on and I haven't heard from him since. I just thought he was different. I, too, had gotten out of a long term relationship as well and I was trying to make a serious effort into getting to know him. He helped me realize I still wanted my ex and now I'm trying to move on from my ex as well. We had talked for 3 weeks. He was in the military and moving back home to my state where he would have lived near me. We texted and talked on the phone.

Posted: 12 Sep 2015 02:37 PM PDT so I have a group of friends I've known since high school and have been really close with for 7 years. one girl who is dating my friend in the group and I have become really close over the past 2 years and have a lot in common and she calls me her best friend, yet whenever I ask her to hang out she won't do it without her bf. or she'll make plans and cancel just to see him. they've been dating for 3 years and see each other every minute of every day yet she cant even make time for me for even a couple hours? we have never hung out alone in the time we've known each other because she won't seperate or do anything without her bf. PLUS my ex who i dated for almost 3 years started hanging out with my group of friends again and I don't feel comfortable being around him and neither does my current boyfriend who I'm very serious with. so my original group of friends just doesn't invite me out anymore and I feel abandoned and like I should just give up having friends in general. my boyfriend lives in another city about a 2 hr commute away and we hardly get to see each other becuase of work. and I just feel really alone during the times I can't be with him becuase I feel like my "friends" who used to want me around all the time just don't anymore. I feel like no one is sincere and people don't like me and I don't know why. what should I do?
Question: Numbers are killing me . has this ever happened to you ? Posted: 12 Sep 2015 02:37 PM PDT today , i looked at some cheese and i think that 33 was the storing number or something, at the same time i looked at the clock and it was on 9/11, then i check my birthday , just to be sure that there wasn't anything in my birthdate, and unfortunately there was! 2/3= 0.333333, then the telephone numbers of my two best friends added together and then divided by 3 = 32.333333 ? has this sort of **** happened to anyone else?
Question: I need help with this friend of mine?! I m really worried she ll think I m a creep? Posted: 12 Sep 2015 02:36 PM PDT Okay so I have this "friend" who I barely know and I ve only known her for 2 days and we hang out in 2 period only which is like an hour. She s really cool and funny. Here is the other part. I ve known about her since last year and I really wanted to be her friend but I was scared and nervous so I decided to let god work out the situation. I ended up talking to her this year bit barely and I m going to get switched out of that class I think but I also have lunch with her. This is the creep part. I really wanted to get her kik but didn t wanna ask her after only knowing her for 1 day so I decided not to. I made a new Kik with my username as her Instagram name. I don t think it s weird because her first name is my middle name which is her Instagram name. I was aked by my cousin to get someones kik for her but i guess they thought i was the girl because her Kik name is super close to mine but she has a double letter at the end. The next day after school the girl texted me and I got her Kik now because she texted me. I wanna text her but I don t wanna be weird so I decided not to. What should I do I really wanna be friends with her cuz she s cool. Plz help?!
Question: How to deal with someone I hate? Posted: 12 Sep 2015 02:32 PM PDT I am a girl and I am just new at my school because I moved from Philippines. Then I met a group of Filipinos who i really became close with but some of them are boys and one of them is acting like a jerk to me and his name is Danzell. We had classes together since first day and recently he's been nagging and I find him extremely annoying. Like he occassionally curses me and one time he stuck up his mid finger at me but I just ignored him and he asked why i am so snob. He is so demanding like if you don't follow him he'll whine like a child and yesterday he asked me 'why are you snob? Are you really like that? What are you famous?' I planned on confronting him like 'just because im snob doesnt mean i look at myself as superior. Maybe its because I despise jerks who dont respect me like you' but i decided against it because I know he'll say it to their group and he'll be the victim I'm doing my best to avoid him like everyday I would go the other way round just to not meet him but I have classes with hm unfortunately. And every time I ignore he just keeps on asking why I keep on ignoring him. Sometimes he's so kind to me but Idk if its fake. I get it that he's been here for years and he's like the king of their group and he treats his friends like slaves but does he know anything aside from being a jerk? I decided to just control myself because confrontations must be at the right time. Please help me. Thank you

Question: Is it ever "smart" to just give up on making friends (As an adult)? Posted: 12 Sep 2015 02:19 PM PDT Long story short, my good friend Dave moved back to his home town over 6 years ago, and hasn't made a single friend there! He's 40 years old now. Yes, he's lazy and scared, but as I get older myself and see how hard it is to make any new friends (I'm 33), I'm starting to think: is he ON to something? Maybe all my attempts at making new friends (and mostly failing) is just plain stupid. Is it smarter to just embrace being alone for the rest of your life like my friend Dave? LOL??? Help

Question: Is my bestfriend lying to me? Posted: 12 Sep 2015 02:15 PM PDT So my bestfriend always says that I am his number one friend(but I have to pry it out of him). But, he always texts this other girl more than me, says he is her bestfriend without her saying anything about it, texts her first, has all these inside jokes with her, always tags her in pictures on Instagram (never to me, and I do this all the time) and just overall acts like he just likes her more than me, but I'm supposed to be his number one friend. Please tell me if he is just lying to me, I know this might sound stupid and like I'm overanalyzing things but it's been bothering me.
Question: I've never had any close friends in my life? Posted: 12 Sep 2015 02:14 PM PDT I moved a lot when I was growing up (12 times), and as a result I never became close to anyone. On top of that, I have Asperger's, so it was even more difficult for me to make new friends after each move. Now I'm in college, and I'm struggling to make friends. I talk to people and try to connect with them, but it always feels so awkward and unnatural. Should I let people know that I'm autistic so they at least know why I struggle with social stuff?
Question: How should I handle this situation? Posted: 12 Sep 2015 02:08 PM PDT Hello everyone, my aunt recently passed away i was very close to her. I went to her funeral today and boyfriends of my mother were there as well. One of my mom s friends looked at me shaking her head and began to criticize my natural hair. She showed up to the repass and told me to blow dry it and fix it. I was so hurt, she didn t ask me how I was feeling, she is always picking on me and it hurts me, I know she is very close to my mom but I don t know what to do. I am not a confrontational person, I was so offended that I left the repass. I appreciate rational opinions. Thank you.
Question: I've had a crush on a guy for 4 years. Any advice? Posted: 12 Sep 2015 02:00 PM PDT I met this one guy my freshmen year of high school. We were paired for a project for class and we became really close, good friends. We developed some feelings for each other and he indirectly asked me on a date (long story) but I shot him down because I wasn't ready to date someone plus I'm super shy. After that, we were still kinda friends but we were never really close again. Fast forward now to senior year we haven't had a class together in 2 years but school started 2 weeks ago and we were sat next to each other in our bio class and at first we were quiet and awkward with each other but we eventually warmed up to each other and now we act like we did freshman year and it's like we've been friends for all these years and I realized that I never really got over my feelings for him. He's an awesome guy and I regret shooting him down years ago I feel like I hurt his feelings but should I just get over him and get some closure or should I see if there's something more to just being friends?
Question: How to help an ugly friend? Posted: 12 Sep 2015 01:52 PM PDT I have a friend I've known for a while (we're both in our early 30s). He's not very attractive looking. His face is not very proportionate, he's balding, shaves his face poorly (leaves patches of hair), and doesn't have good hygiene habits. It seems he rarely even brushes his teeth. He's a smaller guy, but he's also roughly 30 pounds overweight, so he has an odd shape to him. He's becoming increasingly negative about his life. He has a great job, owns a house and car, and is successful, though he doesn't date. When me and my friends bring up the idea of cleaning himself up, developing better habits, or even just exercising, he becomes increasingly defensive, and stops talking to us. He's a great guy, very funny, and intelligent. He's just not very good looking, and he doesn't even try to make himself better. Seeing a therapist is out of the question, as we've already discussed it. What can I do to help him out so he doesn't think his life sucks all the time?

Question: My boyfriend thinks it's funny to be rude to me around MY friends..? Posted: 12 Sep 2015 01:51 PM PDT Every time we're hanging out with my friends, it's like he all of a sudden changes up and thinks it's so funny to be rude to me. For example, the other day he got a tattoo and my friend asked what it meant? And I was joking around saying it's my name and he was like "F*ck outta hereeee I would never get her name" laughing and everything.. Yet the other day he was telling me he was thinking about actually getting it in another language. Also, I talked about with my friend and she said she does notice that he always say something rude about me.. When I'm alone with him, he becomes soft and all loving...if I get mad at him he'll laugh and say it was a joke and try to apologize. I just don't wanna sit here and look disrespected because he wants to act cool infront of his friends? I love him but I feel like I shouldn't take that disrespect.. It's different cause it's MY friends
Question: I'm 14 and i'm more mature than any of my friends, and i need help with other stuff too? Posted: 12 Sep 2015 01:32 PM PDT i'm 14 years old boy my name is anthony and please read. my dad had a heart attack when i was 6 years old, so i grew up with my 3 older sisters and my mom..(so i grew up with girls and my mom is always working so i haven't seen her allot :(. ) anyways i act like my sisters. when i first entered school i kept sitting alone. i never had male friend...because they always bully people and bully me by calling me ''gay'' (i'm 100/100 straight) so a girl asked me if i want to play with her so i played with her the whole school year and her girly friends. and it was 4 girls and 1 boy. so the males kept saying that i'm gay. everytime i return from school i cry. because my sisters are busy, and my mom is always working. so i had no one to talk to about my problems. years passed i changed school still had the same problem again and again so i reach 12 and my mom forced me to join a fancy school so maybe i'll get better and have more friends. but i didn't everyone there bullies everyone!!! everyone hates each other.so i became depressed. i tried to self suicide allot but i couldn't do it. i had lots of family problems. so 2 years later i left that school and now i'm 14 in a new school. and i realized that i'm more mature than all of my school friend.and i became depressed that i started to hate everyone and i didn't want to leave my room. wherever i go they keep calling me gay. i never bullied anyone in my whole life or hurt them i 'm nice to everyone. i just need a normal life.

Question: My borther and sister exclude me? Posted: 12 Sep 2015 01:20 PM PDT The exclude me from events and from their life. They never support me and my younger sister never stands up for me, she likes the attention for herself and whenever my brother excludes me she tries to make herself look better. Whenever i post something on fb or insta they never like it and my brother added everyone as a friend except me. I have a feeling they are jealous of me and dont want me to succeed in life. This hurts me alot? what can i do?
| Question: All my friends ditched me (:? Posted: 12 Sep 2015 01:12 PM PDT ok so i have been planning this sleepover for a week and didn't make back up plans or anything, and today everyone dipped. ones going to a party (that i knew about but wasn't invited to), ones going to a bday party, and who knows what the other ones are doing. **** like this happens all the time. and not just with these friends, actually all of my friends. they always do **** without me. | Posted: 12 Sep 2015 12:57 PM PDT Seriously what this guy is paying me to do it seems like he got it out of a bad cheesy movie. He hired me a month ago to go out with his ex and act like douche to her to make him look good. I've kinda been bad and the "job" so far. I've been nice to her and I kinda like her. We haven't slept together or anything but he texted me 2day and wants me to finish it. Meaning act really mean/rude/horrible to her so she runs back to him. It might be because I'm really drunk right now but I'm thinking about maybe telling her what he did. I thought about keeping her to myself but that wouldn't work since she'd also know what I did. But I mean I've gotten to know this girl and she is wonderful and the piece of crap that hired me is a creep. Maybe I am too but I don't care if he doesn't pay me the rest I really want to tell her to stay away from him. What do I do here? |
Question: How do I get my friend to stop "borrowing" my car? Posted: 12 Sep 2015 12:47 PM PDT I let my roommate borrow my car because she had a doctors appointment and I had class so I couldn t take her and now she thinks it s her car because she has put some gas in. Just today she told me one of our mutual friends was asking her if she could take him to get a haircut. I asked why did he ask you and she said because I m the only person that can actually take him and i said with my car and she said yes. I feel rude saying no to her when she borrows it and now it s to the point where she thinks she can take it whenever she wants without asking me and it s only been like a week. How do I tell her i don t want her driving it anymore without hurting our relationship because we still have to live together for the next year?
Question: I have a problem with someone? Posted: 12 Sep 2015 12:45 PM PDT Hi guys, thanks for viewing my Question. Well the problem started before 2.5 years. A guy came to me and bullied me, i stood there smiling wich i could do something he was with his friend, I said to my self i dont want to start a fight, so i kept smiling at him, while he was trying to make his friend laugh at me by making fun of me. One day i met him with my friend we talked to him about a friend we have in his school, so i thought we became friends. Third time i met him i said "whats up", as i said i thought we were friends, then he walked away. Fourth time i was walking i met him with like 10 people, they gathered around me for no reason and he did the same thing he did to me before wich is making fun of me. I was nervous, afraid, nobody around to ask for help, i couldnt even scream. He asked about my name and i told him, as i said i was nervous and afraid, he made me do something really bad he said if u do it ill let u go, I ran to my home like a cowrd and i really hate what i did in the past. There were like 10+ people with him. For along time i was afraid of going outside when they are out of school bcuz their school is near our house, i was afraid they could see me and make fun of me, i was really pissed off, then my mom said u seen very upsit everytime, what happend did someone hurt u did someone do anything to u and i had to tell her. Today im typing this because i need help. Ill complete in a answer because its long.
Question: Some members of my pledge class rejected my friend requests? Posted: 12 Sep 2015 12:41 PM PDT After being inducted to my fraternity as a pledge, I friended my pledge class on Facebook since I ve kind of gotten to know them and I figured if we re going to be in this for the long haul then why not. A few of them denied my friend requests or unfriended me after accepting. Granted, pledging just started, so I don t know all of them too well, but is this something to be concerned about? I don t want any problems down the road if we re going to become brothers.
Question: Problem with my Internet best friend? Posted: 12 Sep 2015 12:38 PM PDT My best friend and I are both 17-year-old girls who met online when we were 13. We ve Skyped, so I know she s real. She s hid me from her parents the whole time we have been friends and it bothers me. We only can Skype maybe around 5 or 6 times a year because of it. I feel like its unfair to me because I want to meet her and her parents get in the way. My family all know about her and have talked to her as if she were a friend I made at school. I keep urging her to just tell them but she refuses because she s worried they ll be mad or think she s gay. She s said her family isn t homophobic at all but she d be embarrassed if they thought she was a lesbian. I don t know how to get her to tell them. She s my best friend in the whole world and I need to meet her. She s helped me through hard times, makes me laugh, and it sucks that we only can text. I don t know how to convince her to tell her parents though. She has proof that I m just a teenage girl, she isn t in love with me...I honestly don t think her parents will even care. How can I nicely convince her to tell them finally? Thanks!
Question: How do you cultivate a relationship? Posted: 12 Sep 2015 12:33 PM PDT I have a habit of ignoring close friends for long periods of time. How do you "keep in touch" with people?
Question: Maintain a Relationship? Posted: 12 Sep 2015 12:25 PM PDT So i became friends with that one guy in my school, but how can i maintain our relationship? He's a great friend and i don't want our relationship to end. We are boys btw and we are not gay or anything, we are just friends, so can anybody tell me how can i maintain this relationship?
Question: How do I make true friends? Posted: 12 Sep 2015 12:19 PM PDT I have general friends i.e. people I talk to on the phone, facebook etc. However, I do not have anyone that I am truly close to - that knows me extremely well, that I can socialise with. I am 21 and every weekend I am at home alone and bored as I have no friends to go out with, I am kind of wasting my youth. How do I make new friends, meet new people? I am a bit shy, and I haven't found people that fit me. I feel like going to clubs/bars alone and just meeting people, if people ask why I came alone I will lie and say my friend was ill and I did not want to stay at home,
Posted: 12 Sep 2015 12:15 PM PDT Our mothers are friends, and my mother wants me to invite her over to comfort her, but I was so distraught that I couldn't bring myself to reply to my friend's text when she told me he died. How do I invite her over to comfort her exactly? I don't want to seem fake and I don't want to seem cold or heartless either. I suppose I'll have to add some information. I meant this evening, since she's going to be alone this evening, and her mother doesn't want her at the house (because it reminds her of her brother) but doesn't want to push her to come to my house either. So it's my job to invite her over.
Posted: 12 Sep 2015 11:57 AM PDT Overtime she asked me out first because we haven't known each other that long. But now she just wants to be friends? Even thought we've known each other for quite some time. Shes keep giving me hints that shes afraid to lose me which makes me think she just wants friendship because she thinks it would last longer.. I don't know I'm confused.
Posted: 12 Sep 2015 11:54 AM PDT I recently moved in with a new roommate. The apartment has all of her furniture, with the exception of my bedroom which all of my own stuff. The furniture isn't super nice and it all kind of hand-me-downs that she has gotten from her parents. So, she wants to charge me $50 extra a month for wear and tear of her furniture. I don't use her furniture that often since I spend most of my time in my room. Would you pay the $50 extra, or does this sound ridiculous to you?
Question: Is this considered bullying? Posted: 12 Sep 2015 11:39 AM PDT I'm a freshman in college and have 3 roommates. These 3 roommates went to high school together and all know each other really well. As far as they see me I'm just a kid from central Pennsylvania who's come 150 miles, that they want nothing to deal with. There are other kids who come from far away places just like me, and they treat them just fine, but not me. My dorm is set up with 2 bedrooms, they'll be doing things in the one room, like playing games, watch tv, etc: and make it a point to not let me in and join. I'm not mean, have good hygiene, do well with my grades, and have tried to talk to them to make friends and they still act this way. They basically exclude me in everything they do. The other day I heard 2 of them gossiping about me in their room, retards forgot to close their door the whole way. I'm asking if this is bullying or not because if it is, I'm going to go to the dean of my university about this. I'm sick of it and want it to stop
Question: My best friend is always mad at me? Posted: 12 Sep 2015 11:36 AM PDT she gets jealous when she sees me hanging out with my other friends and expects so much from me. I have to do everything her way or she ll get mad. when she s mad she doesn t just leave it between us, she goes to hang out with as many different people as she can and tries to get them all mad at me too. she ll delete all our pictures and tweet about me keep in mind she s 17. what should I do?
Question: I've had a crush on the same guy for almost 4 years. Any advice? Posted: 12 Sep 2015 11:33 AM PDT I met this one guy my freshmen year of high school. We were paired for a project for class and we became really close, good friends. We developed some feelings for each other and he indirectly asked me on a date (long story) but I shot him down because I wasn't ready to date someone plus I'm super shy. After that, we were still kinda friends but we're never really close again. He's an awesome guy and I regret shooting him down years ago but should I just get over him and get some closure or should I see if there's something more to just being friends?

Question: How to find stuff you've lost and if it was stolen how do you approach it? Posted: 12 Sep 2015 11:24 AM PDT Hi I lost my ukulele and I got it from a store that only their kind of stores sell and they don't sell very many so I know not everyone has one. I have not been able to find it for a week or so and at first I wasn't concerned because I thought I left it at my friend's house but literally I had to buy that ukulele with my own money and it was expensive. I'm very careful and it is almost always on my desk since I don't have a case. I brought it to my friends house since she has one too and then I left and I think I brought it home with me but I haven't found it. Later that day she had her birthday party and it was with 5 or so friends of hers and I left early because I felt sick. So maybe I forgot it? Did one of them steal it? Did my house cleaner steal it? Did the people that came over who were not my friends but came over to my house for some reason steal it? How should I know and approach these questions?
Question: Cómo no sonar celosa?
Posted: 12 Sep 2015 10:40 AM PDT i was speaking on facebook to this girl I used to kinda bully. Shes barely got any photos, no relationship listed, no mention of kids, barely any friends writing on her wall. yet she was all bragging to me me that she moved to the UK and works in a fancy hospital as raidiographor and gets 4000 a month. she said she goes on vacations every couple months too. then she asked "how are your kids?" in what I think was a sarcastic manner, as if to say, oh I don't have kids and look how great I am. she also said I haven't lost the baby weight. who the hell does she think she is??? I might not have lost weight but at least I make effort. every picture she's wearing barely any makeup except lipstick. her hair is the same color and style as when we were kids i.e long and brown, no style! shes skinny with bow legs. she wears the same pair of brown boots. what's she spending all her money on with hair like that nd the same boots?
