Question: Why do people act like my boyfriend and I are terrible people for not wanting children? Posted: 11 Sep 2015 02:47 PM PDT My boyfriend and I have been dating for 3 and half years, and want to get married. We have friends and family members that keep telling me that since I am 27, I should be having kids soon. My bf has 5 brothers and sisters, and I have one brother. Neither one of us wants children....ever. We don't dislike children, we just enjoy time alone together. I love sleeping in and working the night shift. We like having money to travel (We went to Estes Park, CO, and New Orleans, LA this year). I love my nieces and nephews, but at the end of the day, I'm happy when they go home without me. My mother is the only one who understands. How do I get people to stop acting like I will lead an unfulfilled life without children?
Question: What do you think about the young men who joined the marines because of 9/11? Posted: 11 Sep 2015 02:07 PM PDT And then got KIA in Iraq/Afghanistan. I think I can only be thankful for then and I'm free because of their courage,if you knew someone who bravely joined and died share their story if you'd like to honor their memory.
| Posted: 11 Sep 2015 01:37 PM PDT We agreed that we both have feelings for each. He is 43 and I am 26. They have younger children together. We would like to get married and have a child together. We already know people in our families and the community will look down on us for it. No we were not intimate while they were married, we began talking after their divorce. We have also agreed that upon married and a baby, we will have to just come out and tell him children/my little cousins the truth and his ex-wife/my cousin. Is it wrong or not since she doesn't want him anymore? I have decided to just sit her down and ask/ tell her what's going on. I love him and he loves me...we are very compatible. Not my fault they were not. We agreed that we both have feelings for each other. He is 43 and I am 26. They have younger children together. We would like to get married and have a child together. We already know people in our families and the community will look down on us for it. No we were not intimate while they were married, we began talking after their divorce. | Posted: 11 Sep 2015 01:16 PM PDT I'm troubled by the question and the answers that say this is ok. Testing people and thinking they will fluke it is really a way for the tester to validate they were "right" . They need to be a victim to others looking in. Why not be direct and ask the person instead of testing? Any other response is underhanded. Testing is not ok. Continued testing proves an old grudge was held and the tester lies in wait to in act revenge. |
Question: My dad is crazy. Still paying for ex wifes stuff after break up? Posted: 11 Sep 2015 01:11 PM PDT So my dad just broke up with his 4th wife a year after divorce because she took it too far by smashing his car windows. So he left, but still comes over to her house and calls her "baby" and honey cause she "changed" i still hate her so much. He just got her a new iphone on a 2 year contact AFTER they broke up, still pays for car insurance for her. now he is renting a new house and is basically broke. Everytime i mention it he would get mad and not talk about it. can someone help me cause i dont think this is good for him.He is also talking to 2 new women and paying for THIER stuff. i dont know i thing he might keep stumbling down in money i think he is just "feels bad for her" even after the **** she did. I love my dad but i think hes crazy
Posted: 11 Sep 2015 01:07 PM PDT The only reason I am for this idea is because my fiancé will be able to take Family medical leave and have time to get married (other people he works with were not able to get their own wedding off) They really wanted us to get married before the baby was born because they said that is what the baby deserves, but now they are settling for right after the baby is born. I really am not looking forward to this because I have never had a child before and I really don't know how I will be feeling. I would much rather plan on the original date of the wedding ( 2 years after we got engaged) They said they would basically pay for the whole wedding if we got married right after the baby was born, but they said if we waited another year that they probably would not be able to help (which they originally said they would before I became pregnant.) They also think more family will be more understanding and more supportive if we get married right after the baby is born vs. waiting a year after.

Question: Mom, depression and me, who do you think is right, and what should I do? (read details)? Posted: 11 Sep 2015 12:48 PM PDT Well, I have been depressed because... - I'm a junior in high school, I get bullied for /no/ reason whatsoever - Which means I'm stressing over about the SAT, I'm not that smart. -We barely have enough money for me to attend college, and I really don't want to do loans. -My grandpa died a 2 years ago, he was the first person I loved that died, and I'm still not over it. -My mother's bickering, and us arguing back and forth -My mother not fully listening -My family is torn apart, and I have to live with my mother. -I'm constantly worried about my sister going to school, because /I/ always defend her when she goes to school, because no one else can, but since I'm going to another school, I can't do that. -When we argue, I feel suicidal, and she even wished I was drowned. etc. etc. My mother was mad because she's worried that the doctors will get CPS on the house, she wants me to leave so CPS won't deal with her. She's talking about, "I have depression too, but I'm not telling everyone my buisness!" I understand she's older, and she has more reasons to stress than me, but I thought it would be more safe to tell the doctor before it get's too out of hand... Now she wants me to stay over my grandma's house because she doesn't want CPS to come over to her house...
Posted: 11 Sep 2015 12:39 PM PDT I was a virgin when we first started going out so I assumed I just wasn't used to it but I feel it's getting out of hand. Even my first time I expected him to be a little gentle with me but not at all. I figured it hurt and bleed only because I was a virgin but there was blood even after we'd had sex a few times. Sometimes it feels okay but he starts getting really rough and then it just hurts. I have told him about it and he says he'll make an effort to be gentler next time but it always feels the same. He leaves bruises on my body constantly and will even bite hard enough to break the skin. I think the issue is that once he is in the moment he sort of forgets to be gentle and just goes all out. Sometimes I'll even tell him during sex to stop and he calms down but then it picks right back up. Has anyone experienced something like this? What can you do in this situation? I don't mind most rough sex but I hate walking away looking like I got into a car wreck.
Question: What do you think is wrong with my friends brother? Posted: 11 Sep 2015 12:16 PM PDT So lately my friend, said that she s been having problems financially in her family causing her to have the same dinner like nearly everyday because her parents were broke. When this happened she told me about how she was stressed out and everything. The main thing. was her brother started acting up and being selfish. First of all he took £30 from his parents credit card that they were looking for on a certain day, to pay for his own motorcycle petrol, which was supposed to be used to atleast buy a few groceries so they could have something different. Keep in mind my friends parents are going into debt. He took another £100 to use for himself a few days after. Her parents have constantly been yelling at him and he doesn t seem to show no kind of emotion like he doesn t care or he s not guilty or angry back. He hardly ever seen around the house like he s never home or always in his bedroom. What do you think may be the problem? They ve thought of counselling what else would be helpful? Just trying to help out a friend, thanks for the answers :) and he s 16 by the way
Question: Would you feel comfortable talking to your niece/nephew about sex? Posted: 11 Sep 2015 12:13 PM PDT I remember looking at my eldest niece maybe 5/6 years ago and thinking "God how would I ever be able to talk to her about a guy!" But she's 16 now and I'm 26 and we talk about it all the time now even over the phone about guys and sex and everything's really, so just out of curiosity has anyone else ever experienced the same thing?
Posted: 11 Sep 2015 10:19 AM PDT I have been in a relationship with my boyfriend for many long years. We have a 7 year old daughter together and he has a 15 year daughter that has lived with us for 12 years. I was so in love with him and all he did for the family. We hit some rough patches along the way but managed to work them out. It wasn't until 2-3 years ago when I discovered he cheated on me with not one but three different women. He also cheated on me previously but forgave him, however, after this most recent affairs I find it difficult to move on from this. At the time when I found all this out, I was a little shell shocked. Now that things have somewhat moved on, I find myself reminded of his past mistakes. To add insult to injury, we also disconnected emotionally which has furthered delayed my healing. He has become more and more demanding which causes me to feel stressed and detached at times. I have fallen out of love with him. I'm not sexually or emotionally aroused by him anymore and feel somewhat lost. I'm lost on many levels as he seems to think things are great. I don't see it. I just seem to be lost. I care for him but I'm not in love with him any more. I have thought of leaving him. However, financially I am not able to at the moment. I'm emotionally and mentally scared. I just feel so lost as to what to do. I guess my real issue is trying to find good resources to get the process started. It will not be an easy break up considering we both have minor debt together. The only plus is the house is in my name which can be sold. The only other concern would be seeking legal advice for custody of my daughter. He will try anything to drag me through the dirt with this one. He is after all a very spiteful person.
Question: Message for my mentor? Posted: 11 Sep 2015 09:34 AM PDT I have to message my mentor at least once a month but I don t know what to say. It s a requirement for a scholarship but there is nothing new going on with me. What should I say?
Posted: 11 Sep 2015 09:26 AM PDT My boyfriend of 5 years keeps saying, "sex is by far the most important thing in a relationship". He keeps sending me articles online to support his argument. And honestly it's really just adding to the problem. Isn't trust, intelligent conversations, & sense of humor things that LEAD TO SEX? Not sex... & everything else is just whatever.. I just read an article that said sex is the #1 thing that connects you. Isn't connecting through your mind more intimate that spreading your legs? I totally don't get it. We used to have frequent sex, but it got to be SO damn dull & boring & ROUTINE, it just became less & less. Now I feel like I am pressured to put on a show for him whenever "I am ready for it". We have been fighting about it so much lately, I'm just sick of the whole thing! I think the reason I lost interest in sex is because I am completely miserable. I live in a VERY seasonal retirement city, Naples FL. So the only thing I can do to make real money is waitress. But I am unemployed over half the year. I told my b/f I want to move somewhere I can have the opportunity to make a steady income in an industry other than serving, as I am now 34. My b/f is 18 years my senior. PLEASE DONT SAY, "you're just with him for the money, or you want his money but not his sex". Just to be clear, he doesn't have money. All I do is sit at home all day cause I don't want to waste gas or money. And yes I apply for jobs, I have a Bachelors Degree & I just applied at Taco Bell. Depressing. He does help me pay bills like student loans but I HATE asking him for help, I feel like I am begging for money. Then he makes me feel like $hit, cause he will say I am not contributing to the relationship or he gets "the short end of the stick" or he lost all his job profits cause of me. He is a General Contractor. But I told him, If i lived somewhere else that was more geared toward young professionals I would be BROKE ALL THE TIME! & I sure has hell wouldn't be in Naples If I wasn't with him.

Question: I can't get along with female coworkers...help? Posted: 11 Sep 2015 07:31 AM PDT I'm 22 and still having trouble getting along with female coworkers. I really think I'm the problem but honestly I don't know what I'm doing wrong. any place I've worked I've always gotten along better with the guys. I'm at a daycare now with like 7-8 female coworkers. I've worked 3 different restaurants in the past and I made friends easier with the male servers and the guys working in the kitchen. And no I'm not making reference to the girl with hot dogs on her face meme "I hang out with guys cause it's less drama", I mean I GET ALONG better with guys, the guys I really hang out with are the ones I've known for years, like since high school/college plus my fiance tags along when we hang with the guys, and I have never really hung out with coworkers outside work. regardless, I've made mention of this girl issue to my fiance and he says the same thing all the time, that I get along better with guys because they find me cute. but guys have never been vulgar towards me since I have a fiance but yes I've had multiple guy friends in the past have crushes on me, my fiance used to be just a guy friend. as far as I know I'm not a bad girl to be around, not like say Regina George, not showy or conceited or act like I'm queen bee, I'm actually very shy and will make innocuous comments like about the weather or compliment someone's clothing. I get along with women, like 30's-40's but somedays I really feel like Robin from HIMYM lol, she hates women and women hate her according to Lily
Question: Is not letting my mom come to my High school graduation too far.? Posted: 11 Sep 2015 07:12 AM PDT She uses multiple guys for money around me .Lives with boyfriend 1 while she see BF2 everyday and goes and stays with BF3 few times a week.. And see BF4 on the side. She on welfare & collects food stamps. Very low class. Uneducated. Packs up the house randomly she will fill up 4-5 boxes then unpack them next day when she cools off. Can't speak properly. Says things 'ain't go no time for that' she says soder instead of soda. "Con-fin-dental" instead of confidential. Presents herself as low class and not ashamed of it. She likes being poor and a bum. Dosnt value education. Very aggressive always looking for a fight/arguement. Once I was in Florida and needed medical care. In order to be treated I asked her to fax my medical card. She faxed her food stamp card Instead.(very Imbarassing) Then insisted it was my medical card just because she couldn't admit she f***ed up. Dosnt clean house, dosnt buy food. Dosnt buy me clothes. She lost custody of me twice as a kid to dcf. im a smart kid with a bright future I go to a prep school. I'm around rich people most the time and most my friend are higher class. I bacicly laugh at how pathetic my moms life is. Being so uneducated in poor I don't know how she even made it to 52. I realized what I want to do in live. And won't be sussessfull being around her. I need to get out of here ASAP. I hope telling her she can't come to my graduation will open her eyes to weather she wants a relationship with me after I leave for college
Question: I think I love him, but I don't know what to do? Posted: 11 Sep 2015 06:36 AM PDT I really love my bestfriend, and I know he loves me back but I feel that there are issues that are getting in the way and stopping me from taking that next step. The thing is I've been showing less affection towards him all because of the pressure of my friends and family, especially my sister. My sister has been hating on him lately. She picks on every little detail she doesn't like and tells my parents secretly behind my back. And I think the reason of this is because she knows there's something going on between us and she doesn't want to accept that. Josh is the same age as my sister (20), and I am 25. The age difference doesn't help either.. And I know I'm stupid for saying that as age is just a number, but I'm a shy woman who's been living under the shadows of my parents. I've never really been in a relationship before hence why I'm too scared to show affection towards him. I'm afraid of what my parents because of my sister. I'm only a little physically attracted to him, but he's a good guy and quite genuine as well. And a guy like that is very hard to find. I just wish my sister would accept him a little more and not make me feel so awkward. I feel like, if I choose to be with him, I'll lose the close bond that I have with my sister and I don't want that. But i breakdown if I'm not with him and wish he was around! So I'm pretty much stuck in the middle and I don't know what to do or, how to tell my parents/family?! Please help :'(

Question: My girlfriend won't let me see my female friend! What to do? Posted: 11 Sep 2015 02:33 AM PDT When i got together with my girlfriend i had to stop contact with all my female friends because she was jealous. A female friend of mine that tried texting me many times but i could not reply because my gf was bothered by it texted me again asking to meet up for a coffee or something since we haven't seen each other in a very long time, but my gf said i should simply not reply and ignore her. What shall i do? I think it is compltely normal to have female friends.
Question: Ok so, my husbands bestfriends wife acts like she doesn't like me.? Posted: 11 Sep 2015 12:48 AM PDT Ok so my husbands bestfriends wife acts like she doesn't like me. Her husband is great though he hangs out with my husband or both of us quite often. However when we are all together or she's over she acts like I don't matter. I'm always nice to her and try my best to not show how mad I am when she ignores me. The only time we really have a full on conversation and she acts like she's enjoying my company is when she's drunk. My husband use to talk to her about our relationship and him about hers. There have been many times I will join in on a conversation and she will automatically ignore what I say and start talking to my husband like I didn't say anything. A lot of time I will say something and she will roll her eyes and shake her head, then look at my husband through the corner of her eye to see if he is doing the same. There have been times he will side with her and acts like he wants he approval over something no Matter what I say. I've told him about this a couple times, the only reason I'm still being nice is because her husband is mines bestfriend and I like him. It's not that I don't like her I do, I just don't understand her actions or why she acts this way. I just need some advice and thoughts on this matter.
Question: I feel so confused in my relationship....? Posted: 11 Sep 2015 12:33 AM PDT Things seem to be going pretty well with us. We've been dating for 9 months. We each have a child from a previous relationship and we have spent lots of time with together with the kids and we always have a great time. I guess my problem is this.... we each had a bad ending to our last relationship. His only just ended less than two yrs ago and that was with his son's mom(they weren't married but together 8 yes). Mine was 4 yrs ago from my fiance. In his she left him and stole a ton of money. I'm his first major relationship since all this. We haven't met other family besides kids, there has been no I love you, and not really any meeting of friends either. Idk if he's nervous to bring me around or what, but I've usually had the I love you by this, stage. I'm a little nervous to say it myself, but I know I feel it. He calls me love in text, but last night In saying good night I said sweet dreams my love and he responded xoxoxoxo. I think he loves me, but he can't actually say it. And the meeting the family is important to me and I've let him know this. My Mom lives hrs away, but his dad and other family is local and he sees them almost every weekend but never invites me. I asked him and he said it's,all about timing. Whats that supposed to mean? He told me a month ago that he only just now told his dad of me . Is he just being cautious?
Question: I lied to a teacher and didn't even have a reason? Posted: 10 Sep 2015 11:21 PM PDT So the other day I was in my first class of the semester. My teacher asked us why we were taking the class and I put up my hand to answer. When she picked on me I answered without Even thinking: an untrue answer . I don't normally lie but for some reason this just came out. I'm embarrassed about it and don't know why I did it. Does anyone have any ideas as to why I would have done this? And has anyone else done anything like this?

He also has two other children that he did the same thing to. Why would he rather take care of kids that arent his and make his own kids go without? He keeps requesting hearings with every decision that is granted What can I do? And why is he doing this? |
Posted: 10 Sep 2015 08:30 PM PDT I (not especially reluctantly) agreed to meet with an ex whom I dated for many months, but it ended prematurely before it even took off. It ended because of his fears and doubts, which I didn't get some closure on until now (but I had the feeling when it happened). I strictly didn't talk to him at ALL after this, we just stopped talking. There was no real breakup, just a drastic stoppage in communication. Now, 7 months later, he contacted me out of the blue apologizing profusely and writing a bunch of things out - which I have little doubt is sincere (even a close friend of mine unbiasedly agreed). All he told me all he wanted was for me to listen to him (he feels guilty), and I agreed that I'll at least listen. He's been very gracious about me accepting to meet him to talk and has thanked me a couple times already. I am not exactly sure what he wants to hash out so badly, but would it likely just be an apology? Or is he going to beg for a second chance? When I asked him about what his expectations were, he didn't have any. He basically just wants to talk (which I can't say for sure what this will entail besides further apologizing that I've already received via text) I should note that this was serious dating, not a casual FWB thing that went on forever. He had talked about wanting to make me his gf and such
Question: My son s new preschool teacher is my exboyfriends wife! Awkward!? Posted: 10 Sep 2015 08:26 PM PDT So we just moved back to my old college town after being away for 12 years. We signed my son up for a great preschool and today was his first day. I came to discover his tracer is my ex boyfriends wife...who also happened to be my old roommate in college. After he and I broke up, I met my husband and he started dating Sarah, his wife now. My husband and I moved away, I was friends with Sarah, my old roommate on Facebook. About five years ago, she randomly defriended me on Facebook. So, let s just say things are a little awkward. What do I do? I would like to let the past be the past, but have s feeling that she and her husband won t. By the way, their daughter also attends the preschool and we will have to see the both of them everyday. What do I do?
Question: I had a sex dream about my friends husband? Posted: 10 Sep 2015 08:26 PM PDT I do find him attractive but I'm married and wouldn't cheat on my husband & definitely not with my friends husband. But here's the dream could someone tell me what this means (dream interpretation) I was setting there with her husband and she's asleep on the floor. He just randomly leans his face into my breasts and starts kissing. I push him away, kinda. Then I start getting into it. He's kissing all over my chest and neck not my mouth though. Then next thing I know we are having sex and his wife woke up and caught us. But wasn't mad. I kept apologizing to her saying "I don't know why I done it" then I woke up. What do these things mean in dream study?

Posted: 10 Sep 2015 08:10 PM PDT I am avoiding him, he does not want me to avoid him so he is e-mailing me, very frequently. I recently decided to add a filter and delete all his messages as spam. I live with him because I am 12. I will probably live with a friend next year because my father is insane and my brother is also annoying. Both of them lack empathy simply because they are bad and they know it, they annoy people for their own gains. I think my father is borderline criminal. He is spending his life to annoy me as he is a failure in everything in life (no job, no friends, goes to court a lot etc) and he knows he cannot keep annoying my mum because she will definitely leave. My mum is nice but she does not stop my father at all from being cruel.

Question: Am I being really ungrateful? If so, how do I feel more grateful? Posted: 10 Sep 2015 07:36 PM PDT Today was my birthday. I got a ring from my mom, but I hate jewelry. She also got me a trip to Typhoon Lagoon (at Disney). I feel really uncomfortable at water parks. I dislike wearing bathing suits in front of people, and am super self-conscious. I really wanted to go to an actual Disney Park. I acted like I liked it, but I don't really like this. I feel really ungrateful. I don't know how to fix how I'm feeling, though. I want to appreciate all that my mom did for me.

Question: Not sure if that counts towards sexual assault but what to do? Posted: 10 Sep 2015 06:21 PM PDT Had sex with random guy who seemed pretty nice at first. He has been in jail before though not anything sexually related though maybe drugs idk. I didn't know until after the sex he used to be in jail. I kind of gave him consent for sex yet it more like him asking me have you had your p*ssy licked before and I say yes then p*ssy licking happened. Then anal sex and kind of vagina it was very short coz I was no I'm on period and I have menstrual cup inside then blood splattered and oral sex happened. With oral sex he was like go further like are you scared of cock. I have gagging problem I told him. I felt chocked at time coz how far it was in my mouth well like I said gagging problem. We did eventually stop 2-3 min. after I was like stop yet later on he kept trying to pull of jeans wanting more anal but I kept fighting him by keeping my jeans on to the best of my ability and kind of chocked me although he said he joking but I took it seriously coz crying. Only time I've had unprotected sex unless someone condom breaking incident but I think that has never happened before. Haven't told the police or got tested either(he said he didn't have any STD). I don't know his last name but have work place and address and knows about the general situation of 3 out 4 of his siblings. Sorry if this a bit long but thanks for those answers seriously. 18.5 year old female college freshman.
Question: Was this counted as a fight? Posted: 10 Sep 2015 05:58 PM PDT I remember I once got into a massive arguement with my older sister, Jasmine. It was something about a computer. We were yelling and insulting each other and getting in each other's throats. Then Jasmine tried to ignore me by listening to her iPod. I kept insulting her in her face while she was trying to ignore me. Once I left, out of nowhere she punched me on the back of my head. Then we started fighting in the kitchen. My younger brother saw, but wss too scared to do/say anything. I kept scratching her and pulling her hair (back then I didnt know much about fighting). I can't remember the rest of it, but we both got cut on our finger. We eventually apologized cause I was crying after the fight. So was this counted as a battle between me and Jasmine?? If so, who do you think won??
Posted: 10 Sep 2015 05:53 PM PDT I just started playing basketball. This is the 3rd game I've ever played and I'm the worst on team. I never get the ball so I try my hardest on defense. But today I got confused and wasnt guarding someone so they scored 10 points off of me. Now I feel like dropping out because everyone else on my team has played 5 years or more and I dont want to let anyone down. Should I drop out?

Question: How to get past a person's exterior? Posted: 10 Sep 2015 04:40 PM PDT This woman is a genuinely nice/good person, but I find myself appalled at Her appearance and general lack of common courtesy and "bull in a china shop," way She conducts Herself. I'm good at ignoring a lot of things(and I have been) but I just cannot get over what a mess this person happens to be! Help, and serious answers only please.. Thanks💗
