Posted: 11 Sep 2015 05:12 PM PDT Ok, so there's these 2 girls (they're cousins, they've known each other longer than I have) and they're also best friends. I met them back in 4th grade, when they were nice (we're in 7th grade now). Both of them are really sporty, and I'm not. I can't stand when they keep talking about volleyball in front of me! It makes me feel like the third wheel 😐 and that's not even all of it. Ever since school started they've been ignoring me a lot more than they used to. I say hi to one of them in the hallway and she ignores me 😞. Also they've been teasing me a lot lately! Back when I met them their jokes were harmless, now they call me really harsh names. I have a lot of pimples, it's obvious. One of them saw me and when she did, she told me:"Eww she has pimples get away from me". I know she was "joking" but it really hurt my feelings. When I cry they stop teasing me, but I don't wanna cry again or else they will probably call me "crybaby". But the worst part is that they've been hanging out with the popular girls a lot lately! The popular girls aren't very nice to me either. They ignore me and give me dirty looks sometimes. I don't want my friends to turn out like them and start tormenting me 😔 What should I do guys? Do I just leave my friends for good or keep being friends with them? |

I've had two best friends my entire life, and they are social butterflies while I'm just awkward unless I warm up to someone, and that takes a very long time for me. But they try to get me out of the house all the time to hang out, but they always forget about me whenever I actually go somewhere with them. I'm the one who actually introduced them when we were little, and it hurts to know they'd rather be hanging out with each other. But they aren't the only problem. I have other friends. They aren't like best friends or anything like that. They are just someone to text and talk to and maybe invite over to your house a few times. And many of them don't know how to watch their mouths. They don't know about my depression, but they know I can be very awkward, and, like, they seem to take advantage of that and points me out of the crowd on my mistakes, which only causes me to have a few minute panic attack silently in the middle of class. I'm honest with myself, and some of their stuff sounds like they are just toying with me. One has told me to kill myself, but she said it in such a jockingly way it shocked me. Words stay with me. They are usually only nice to me when they need help on their homework or absolutely need me for something, usually for my knowledge (im a serious book worm). I've looked up many things for this, and all of them says this points to emotional abuse. I know I can't get them to stop being "friends" (?) with me because they are all I have necessarily. We have no interests and they tell me to shut the **** up when I tell them something about a book. I've been living in depression and complete background silence for years and they just walk all over me and it makes me feel worthless. Even my best friends. They just ignore me, forget about me, blatantly tell me that I'm lazy and boring and annoying with talking about what I'm interested in. But all of them say this in such a jocking manor liek they don't mean it. People tend to not watch their words, but I do, espeically theirs. I have to watch what I say and I mostly stay silent. It's killing me. Is this emotional abuse? Or am I just over reacting?? |

I had to live on campus because I am very far, but it is mostly a commuter school. There are about 20 girls on the floor, and they are always together. They go out to eat together, study together, take walks together, and are always in each others rooms. Most of them went to high school together, so they already knew each other and they want nothing to do with me. The girl next to me is nice, but they are always inviting her to do things and I could be standing right there and they will ignore me. It is making me feel so small and depressed, and like there is something wrong with me. I have tried to talk to them, but they either ignore me, walk away, or give me a death glare. I can tell I'm not wanted in their activities, but I feel that sitting alone in my room all the time is driving me crazy. I want to go home on the weekends, but I don't want my parents to know I have no friends here. They are so nasty to me and I still have two more years of school to deal with this. I don't know what to do. |

She has always been attentive, generous, thoughtful, giving, etc. A few years ago, we both met and became friends with someone. I actually ended up dating this person, (we are still in a relationship) but I had a little feeling that my cousin had feelings for my now significant other when we all first met. Also, (and please don't take this the wrong way, as I'm trying to be as kind as possible).. I am what you would call "better looking": thin, symmetrical face, nice eye color and body type, etc... where my cousin is overweight and less good looking. The ONLY reason I'm saying that is because I'm wondering if it contributes to a possible jealousy?? After my cousin learned that I had feelings for our new friend (at the time), my cousin let out some personal information and rumors about my immediate family. She said it was situational (someone else was already talking about it), but still, I feel like it wasn't her place to say anything about MY family, no matter what. My cousin has also found places to get under my skin. For example: There was a girl I thought was really irritating. I told my cousin about how I thought this girl was annoying, etc.. and the next time my cousin and I were hanging out with our group of friends, she starts talking about how funny the "annoying" girl is and how she wants to be her friend. He didn't have a girlfriend when I fell for him months back and I'm just now finding out he has one now. However, he is so confusing. I thought he liked me because he always stares at me. I could just be doing something and look up and there he is staring, not even looking away. He does this every single time we see each other. He barely talks to me, and avoids eye contact if we do within a group. When a friend told me she saw him bra shopping with his girlfriend, I was thinking to myself, what? I had to live on cam pus because of how far I live, and I am seriously regretting it. There is about 20 girls in the dorm, and they are all best friends. They went to high school together, and all planned to come here. The girl next to me is nice, and sometimes we walk to class together, but she will ditch me for them the first chance she gets. I have spent two weekends here listening to them make plans and I leave my door open so maybe someone will come talk to me, but they run right past my room every time and I can hear them talking about me. I tried talking to them the first few days, but they want absolutely nothing to do with me. I feel so alone here and I don't want to go home every weekend because I know my parents know I have no friends here, but I feel so left out of the group and I hate sitting here listening to them exclude me. They always do homework and study together, and I tried to join a few times and they literally got up and left. I don't want to fail school because I am not getting any help from my peers, but they ignore me. I don't know what to do! they are not the type of people I want to be friends with, but I feel like the biggest loser here. Please help:( |

Posted: 11 Sep 2015 04:35 PM PDT Sometimes my good friend is mean to me and we'll it's not properly mean it's like a little dig here and there but it does get to me for example: in pe earlier in the week I was telling her that my team was annoyed at me and she said that its cause I don't try which isn't true cause I was trying really hard but I can't help it if I'm not good at the sport (I'm actually not bad but it helps if they actually bother to pass it to you) and she constantly says 'ugh your screeching again!' Cause apparently I talk it a really high pitched voice when I'm annoyed or arguing (I don't even think I do) I can't help it if I have a high pitched voice and she doesn't exactly have a deep voice so. I sort of Shake it off but it was what she said a day ago when we had a cover teacher for music and we couldnt find our work so we were going to watch a film. I didn't want to watch a film because our group is wayyyy behind and besides I like music cause I'm singing. She said 'shut up and stop screeching your so nippy sometimes!' I don't think she realises that it affects me but it does so I sat away from her when we were watching the film. It's not like I'm not self conscious enough without her saying I screech and I'm annoying. I don't know what to do and I don't want to tell her cause I feel like she'll just say oh get over yourself which she also says to me like when I say ouch if I hurt myself cause I don't have a high pain tolerance and she does it's really upsetting me what should I do? |

We live in the same small town, so when we started working together, she suggested we carpool since we work 45 mins away. She always drives because she has 2 small children she drops off at daycare before work. And yes, I've bought her lunches and put gas in her car, so I'm contributing. Problem is, she's perpetually late. By nature, im a 15 mins early kinda gal. She will be running late, and then wanna stop "real quick" for coffee, get cash, or to see her hubby who just got off 3rd shift, all before dropping off the kids. I know she can use my help with the kids and I like not having to put the miles on my car. However, I'm tired of waiting 5-20 minutes every morning for her to come cuz it's never a consistent time and clocking into work 1-3 minutes late. When I drive myself, I'm 15-20 mins early. How do I wean myself away from this situation without compromising our personal and professional relationships? I feel bad cuz I know she likes help with the kids, but she also knows I dislike the tardiness because she's made the statement that I'm one of those people that's "always on time." Advice so there are no hurt feelings? |

I only got involved because the poor guy kept getting bullied and even when the bully got suspended and switched classes, he came back and continued doing it outside of classroom (Lunch). I walked up to him and told him calmly "Could you please stop picking on him" and he decided to insult me as well as put his hands on me so I punched the asshole. Personally, I feel proud of what I did as well as my mother and father when they called to have a meeting. The school wasn't doing anything to stop this like always! and they told me that violence is never the answer but hey ... It worked. |

It even gets to the point where I want to break down and cry because it sucks so much to sit and watch. The reasons I can think of are: A) I've seen what alcohol can do to people and their decision making through Law Enforcement Schooling B) I've seen the RESULTS of those poor decisions C) Some of my friends are underage D) They use alcohol as a crutch to mute their problems, when I know there are better ways to do that. I just feel like I'm a major buzzkill, and I feel like there is something wrong with me...any help or advice? |

We had made this pact to keep in touch and remain friends. He seems to be getting tired of me. He doesn't text me ever, and when I do he reads it but barely responds. This after I asked my parents if I could go to his a month back while I was grounded and risked getting yelled at. He says he still loves me in that friend type way, but I don't see clear. I'm pretty upset with him and I don't know what to do. There was this guy who he used to be friends with and then the guy and him started hating each other and now I think I know why. Because my friend doesn't put any effort after a while and just starts ignoring you. And I want to tell him that now I know why the guy started disliking him. What do I do? One of my best friends had an awful accident while we were go karting. Some 25 years old CZ guys wanted to compete with us. We are 15 and my friend was unexpirenced. My friend lost the control of the go kart and got out of the pist. When he tryied to return in the pist he didnt check if anyone coming so he crashed awfuly bad. One of the CZ guy was going around 60 kilometers per hour and flew over him .. They crashed head to head. My friend flew in the air for some meters and fall hard. He was all covered in blood. The face full of scraches and you could see the white bones at the legs and hands.He broke many bones and his nose and face.. (The ambulance came after 40 min and my friend could barely breath. I cant do anything now and i cant sleep or relax and i shake.. Please any advice. (Sorry for bad english i am 15 and greek ) |

He never had any prior experience in either before highschool he said he was strong so he decided to play football and he played nose guard and linebacker but he's only like 5'9 and 170 pounds.. he didn't get recruited because apparently his coach didn't recruit for the team and then he says his record for wrestling was 20-0 before he got injured and couldn't go to state but my brother did scholastic wrestling and didn't have even close to 20 matches before state? I just want someone to give me their sport opinion on this guy, cause I really don't like a guy who up talks himself to impress me. |

Posted: 11 Sep 2015 02:51 PM PDT So today was my 2nd day of freshman year, and I feel like I won't make friends for the year. Yesterday, at freshman orientation, it seemed like everyone knew each other from old schools. Sure I met a few people and thought they wanted to be my friend, but I found out that they had social groups already. I had met this girl that had the same homeroom, some classes, and even lunch with me, but she didn't talk to me. She already had another friend to talk to. I do know that it takes time and patience to make friends, but it could take months or the whole year. Starting Monday, is the first full of week of school. How can I make friends? How do I make friends if I'm really shy? |

So i have this problem where i feel like i care too much. I dont know they act like they dont give f about me sometimes and trust im not an emotional person is just that They do things that i wouldnt do .like recently they were going to a water park i said i was going but in reality i got injured and 2 days before i said yo i cant go one f them got botherd because i wasent going but its because i got INJURED !!!! not because i didnt want to go. Then before they left i told them hey guys have good trip lucky bastards And then one of them was like -ok JUST OK ? LOL im ******* injured and just ok really like Wtf and the friend that said ok 3 months ago broke his leg i went to see him at his home i walked with him to the Doctor when his mom couldnt do it his foot hurted like hell i was next to him like -common dude giving him good hopes and i bought him things to eat and everything tell me who other person of young age does that?? Im not saying im the **** im just saying LIKE WTF with people Then the others didnt even say **** days later not a text saying -yo how you doing ? Or anything just a hope you get better(1 time) in a weird way lol and when i told them i was injuerd they all starded laughing all this in texts. So i left the group on whatsapp & after i left the group not even a heey dude or whats up nada lol im like why am i cursed or something ? |

Posted: 11 Sep 2015 02:37 PM PDT I had a teacher last year, he is my favorite, I found out he likes riddles one day and I started bringing him riddles and stuff, I enjoyed it and he seemed to enjoy solving them, I tried to talk to him when i could and i learned a bit about him, now i'm in my last year of high school and I wanted to hang around him this year too, so I asked him if i could be a student assistant and he said sure, i give him riddles still and i talk to him more, and i found out, we dont have a lot in common, he likes sports, motorcycles, and physical stuff, and I'm lazy and like video games and computer stuff. despite that, I would really like to be his friend, I'm really Anti-Social and have a hard time talking to people because I don't know what to say, and it doesn't help that we have no common interests, so, iv just been trying to talk about the stuff that he likes, but, its hard to follow along because I don't have an interest/know much about the subject compared to him. what should I do? also, because he is a teacher, is their a way to ask if you are a friend or just a student? also, please no "teachers and students cant be friends" thanks |
| Posted: 11 Sep 2015 02:34 PM PDT I went to try to talk to my friend after schoolbooks always and usually we talk and she happy and stuff, but when I went to talk to her she didn't say anything and looked mad or sad? then 2 seconds later my other friend passed by and she left me and started walking with her then started smiling, giggling, talking and stuff.. should I talk to her about this? or am I over reacting? I kind don't wanna talk to her about this because she has a tendency to get even more mad or even talk about the person if she has a problem? we have a group of 4 and she talks about an other friend sometimes, but she never says it to her face? I don't wanna say anything because I don't want to start drama, but it's just ridiculous.. |

They used to be some of my bestfriends and then all of a sudden they turned dark. They do not talk in front of people, think the world hates them and are very negative. In 7th grade he hit on me even tho he had a girlfriend and I let him (stupid, I know. I was 12 & he was the first boy that showed interest in me). As a result, a group of girls started hating me, and still hate me to this day. Throughout highschool, he'd say hi to me in the hallways and stuff and I'd always politely said hi back. Over the summer, he DMed me on Twitter and within like 20 minutes he asked for my number. We had great convos. He seemed like he wanted to get to know me better, and genuinely cared about my hobbies and stuff but I felt like he was moving really fast and it was clear that he wanted sex. He told me he couldn't go long without sex. My friend's grandpa died that summer. I explained this to him, yet he told me to call my friend back later and come over! That really turned me off, so I blocked him on every social network. This was in mid July. Throughout August, and even now, he's been trying to reach out to me. He still Dms me and calls me on blocked numbers. He still says hi to me at school. today was our senior cookout and there was a dunk tank for teachers. He knew I hated this teacher, so he paid for the balls to throw, stood right next to me without saying anything, and Successfully dunked the teacher twice in a row. He was there for me through my surgery in July; he texted me a lot to check up. he's still really sweet to me and hasn't given up at trying to talk to me. thoughts? |

He was obese and really ugly back then. In the last 12 months hes joined the gym and eats lots of protein etc etc and is gone really skinny. Hes also a new hairstyle and looks completely different. Like he looks amazing now! Like a model actually. Whats going on for him? Now it's been like a year and she's talking to me and stuff. My question is what does she want from me? :( I don't want drama anymore it caused my grades to go down. | Question: Roommates boyfriend blames me for prank? Posted: 11 Sep 2015 01:47 PM PDT April fools day me and my roommate decided to pull pranks that were pretty harmless. I faked dropping out of school on Facebook which I ended a couple of hours later. My roommate said she was going to do the same thing with her bf but when he answered the phone she told him she was pregnant. I went along with it, but she ran it too far, long after I told her she needed to tell him the truth. The next day he was mad and for some reason he's still mad at me for it though he seems to be over it with her. It is an issue because there was an altercation between me and him one day where he threatened and walked up on me, and slammed a door in my face because I tried to look at his face when he wasn't wearing his sunglasses in his gfs room. It got out of hand and when another roommate confronted him he used the above prank as proof that I was lying on him while his gf sat back silently because she knew he was in the wrong. My question is why am I still being blamed for this incident by this guy when I didn't start it and only had passing help with this prank at best. The gf says he's sensitive about his eyes and kids, but my question was why would she have done that prank if she knows him well enough like she claimed she did the night he threatened me and slammed a door in my face in my suite? She blamed me for him getting mad saying I pushed his buttons and the fact I wanted an apology after he threatened to choke me for looking at his eyes? |
