I've met his brothers and friends and he tells me they really like me. But he says he's been hurt and doesn't want to bring past baggage into something new. He says he likes being around me, he sees something blossoming and being around me makes him think about a relationship but he's scared. He says I tick all the right boxes and he looks forward to our dates and that he wants to be around me all the time because he wants to understand me& get to know me better. He says he's a slow person when it comes to relationships and thinks its too soon for titles. He also said i'm bringing his guard down but he doesn't want to attempt another relationship until next year (him&his ex broke up in april) I want to go slow with this too, but I don't want to waste my time and fall for him for nothing. I dont get why someone would introduce me to their family and friends, call me everyday and speak for hours, make excuses to come everywhere with me, for it not to go anywhere... Any advice? |

I have had the worst luck with relationships. I've only had 1 boyfriend, and our relationship lasted for just 2 weeks. I've tried to get into relationships, but something always goes wrong (i.e. boy becomes too busy, or he moves away, or becomes disinterested.) I'm really tired of short, temporary flings. I'm tired of boys who just like me for like 3 months and then move on. I want to find something long-term now. I also love to sing, and I would like to become a Worship Leader at a church someday soon. I'm a part of a Christian organization at my school called CRU, and I told the guy who's in charge of leading worship that I would like to sing for CRU sometime, so he invited me to sing for an acoustic worship night at our school. There were 3 other guys there who were at the practice, and there was one guy who stood out to me, named Jeff. He's an MK (missionary kid), and he's amazing at harmonizing, he has a good singing voice, and he plays the guitar. He told me that I have a good singing voice, and I liked how he was able to tell me that himself, and not keep it from me. I would like to sing with him some more in the future, and I want to tell him that, but I don't know how. Also the funny part is he has a identical twin, and you can hardly tell the difference between them, but I can because the one I like is more outgoing and easier to talk to than the other.
