For example ALWAYS wanting to know who I was with , where I was going , tried to control how I would dress , etc . Our families had issues and decided for us not to speak to each other anymore . He recently ( about 2 months ago ) expressed he loved me . I loved him very much so I decided to forgive him and be FRIENDS only . I expressed numerous times that yes I did love him but not in that way anymore. I simply cared for his well being and was fine with being friends . He wasn't having it . He followed me to class everyday , would wait outside the doors . People thought he was crazy He'd grab my arms and take my purse and steal my phone out of my bag if I tried to leave . He called me 53 times . Left messages saying he was addicted to me and couldn't live without me . He forced me inside an empty class and tried to force his penis inside me . Fingered me against my will and I begged him to stop . He said he lost all control and begged and pleaded for me to forgive him . I forgave him but I don't know why cause not only 2 weeks later he drug me into a corner in the hall and tried to dinger me against my will again . Luckily , the cameras caught it and he has been arrested . I am so emotionally distraught . He's Beene spelled from school . They do NOT know about the first incident and I feel like they would think I am crazy to forgive him . I need help .. This whole situation has made me so stressed . |

In PE, they do nothing but walk when they're supposed to run and sit down when we are allowed to play any sport. And when the teacher let us play any sport, they play basket ball and just throw the ball. It's basket ball or nothing. When I want to play sports with people or run the laps, my friends don't let me leave and when I do they get mad at me. every time I hang out with them in lunch, all they do is use their phones and try to take pictures of me and themselves to upload on snap chat or something. I have a lot more things to list but it'll be too long. And I can't make new friends. What can I do to motivate them to play sports and not use their phones and actually talk.? |

Some do, some don't, and it's not what I want to hear right now. I had a best friend. We have the same sense of humor, we trusted one another- she was the ONLY person who can make me laugh extremely hard in almost every situation. The thing is, something happened five months ago which ended our friendship... yes, it was that bad. It wasn't our only fight but this one was the worst so far. I really, really, REALLY miss having a best friend. Someone who I know will choose me in class as their partner, someone who tells me I'm their best friend, someone who can make me laugh really hard- I do have other good friends but we don't really 'click.' I trust them and love them but it's not a deep relationship like I felt with my first best friend. I know you'll probably say 'go join a sport outside of school' but the thing is, I want someone who's in my school and grade and classes... Like I never met anyone like me expect for that one friend and that didn't end well after seven years of being friends. What do I do?:( I feel so empty and sad. I was thinking about what to do for vacation this year while talking to him and we came up with the plan of us both taking one together. Now, he's known to be a bit flakey at times, so before I paid for anything or made and reservations, I asked multiple times, "you sure you wanna go on this trip? no backing out?" to which he agreed to. I've been planning the trip for a few months. Before I made the payments, I asked him one last time "no backing out after this, are you in?" again he said yes. So, I bought the plane tix and made reservations for the hotel, and took the specific days off of work. A mere months before the the vacation, he texts me saying he's not sure about the trip anymore. After a short back and forth he's back on board. Whew, dodged a bullet there. Wrong. A couple days later and he's wanting to back out again. So, I feel like I wasted my time and energy on this whole thing, and I'm pretty pissed at him. I don't know what to do here. This was my once a year vacation after all, I have no one else to go with who is available and I don't wanna go alone. I don't know if I can continue being he's friend if he does intend to back out, feel a bit betrayed. What should I do here ? |

For about two years now, M has been copying everything I say I do. At first it started out kind of subtle, but now it's really obvious and really annoying. For example -We were roommates in college freshman year. Sometimes M would get up and get dressed before me, and then I would get dress. Once she saw what I was wearing, she would change clothes to wear something similar. -She copies everything I like, even if she didn't like it previously. For example, I remember once remarking that I had a thing for Asian men, and M mentioned she didn't like them that much. Then when we got around our group of friends, she absolutely gushed about how much she loved Asian men. (The same thing happened recently when I pointed out she likes blondes. Now she ADORES blondes). -To expand on the last point, she once told me she didn't like scary movies. When I told her I liked them, that changed. Now she wants to go see every scary movie that I want to see! Also, this happened with spicy food. She said she didn't like it, I said I did, now she likes it. You catch my drift. -She's a stage 5 clinger. She used to follow me everywhere I went, although she doesn't do it much anymore, she still does it more than I like. And she has no concept of personal space. -She's a friend-napper. Anyone I talk to or express interest in, she IMMEDIATELY wants to meet them and be there friend, and will sometimes intercept between me and a new friend. -Also the worst part of it all? She wants it to seem like I'm copying her. So she had a Nook tablet, and for Christmas my mom surprised me with one as well. When she saw it, the first thing she asked was "Did you get that tablet because I have one?" Uhhhh....no. She did something similar with my car. I happen to have the same car as her mom, and she boldly claimed that the only reason I wanted that car was because her mom had it. Which isn't too, because I had only seen her mom's car once and wasn't thinking about it when I got mine. Anyway, how do I deal with this? Should I confront her? Stop hanging out with her? Then around the age of 14 I started being real antisocial and just wanted to be alone. Then around 16 I moved and didn't even attempt to make friends. And that's how it's been ever since. Today after work I was thinking of old memories so I drove to my old neighborhood and walked around. Then I walked out in the woods and made my way to an area we all used to hangout at and I stumbled on a treehouse we build when I was like 10 and it's still there. I actually started crying. It just bums me out that everyone I used to hang with became druggies or are in prison,some of them are even dead. I'm sort of even depressed. |

I lied to my parents about why I was going to another state and they found out. I lied because I knew they would tell me I couldn't go. I am one of his friends but it hurts me that some people think that I snitch on the kid. I am in junior now but the kid that brought the knife is back, actually he entered one of my classroom to talk to some of his friends and he didn't say hi to me or say anything, it's like he pretend that I didn't exist, why? Posted: 22 Sep 2015 03:28 PM PDT I was in a freeway car accident a little over a week ago on the way to one of my best friend's birthday. My car was totaled and the person who caused it never stopped. I received some pretty decent wounds but nothing major was broken. I called my friend that night and told her to enjoy her bday and not to worry. A couple days after the accident both friends texted asking if I was okay and gave the usual "if you need anything let me know." comment. After that it would just be random texts here and there like usual. one friend would start making plans to see me, but then not respond back when i would basically respond to her texts to confirm plans. The other would make comments about hanging out during the weekend when she had time. By the time the weekend rolled around I did not receive a call or text form either. Both know that i am unable to go anywhere due to having no car because of the accident and the wounds i have make it difficult to do anything. Also, during the text conversations I had mentioned multiple times that i felt like i had "cabin fever" due to being inside for so long. It has been a week and a half since my accident and basically what I am asking is, should i re-evaluate how much i am investing into these friendships. I in no way plan on dropping them as friends, but I just wonder whether maybe I should decrease how much i am emotionally invested into them. And, am I justified in my feelings or am I being dramatic? And it would be one thing if they didn't make comments about "hanging out" or wanting to see me, but they did. And in any other ordinary day I wouldn't think much about it, but in this case I felt like there could have been a little bit more effort. Especially, because these friends have had me in situations where they've needed me to be heavily invested with my time and emotions. I guess I feel like I'd like to receive the same treatment that they've required of me. |

He works out at the same time that I do. I don't think it's weird that he noticed me because I work out often. What I don't like is he is so straightforward. He said that "I looked good" and asked me what I do. Today I saw him again and he gave me advice on how to work out. I never asked for it but there he goes. He even asked me more personal questions like my age, if I have kids, if I am married, how often I work out, and what I do. He also suggested that he was hungry and he asked me if I was hungry. I think he may have wanted to ask me to go out with him to eat after working out. Here's the issue: I want to get stronger and I like going to the gym. Everything was fine with my parents because she said that her parents would pay for the tickets. The tickets started getting really expensive ( they were front row tickets) and she asked me if I could pay a portion of the ticket. I didn't have enough money for it so I decided to ask my parents if they could and they said no and now they won't let me go because they realised how expensive the tickets are and I've tried to do everything! I even asked if I could sell my stuff. Anyways, now by parents aren't budging when I try to talk them into it and I need help. Posted: 22 Sep 2015 02:21 PM PDT my boyfriend just made these "friends" about a month ago and he puts them before everyone, including me. just even in the last month he's known them, they are always talking bad about him behind his back and they are a year younger than him so they use him and his car to drive them around. of course he isn't going to tell them no so he drives them everywhere they want to go. they give him gas money but only $5 a week! and they lie and tell him they don't have any gas money for him so they can keep it for themselves! they nonstop talk bad about me too and he doesn't say anything to them! one of his "best friends" is also my ex boyfriend. they get p*ssed off when he hangs out with me instead of them but we hardly spend any time together anymore since he started hanging out with them. it bothers me the most that they aren't even his true friends. I try to tell him all the time but he changes the subject and says he doesn't want to talk about them. I just want what's best for him! can someone help me? how can I make him realize that they are fake and use him? even others say that he's the "taxi driver" because he drives them everywhere. I don't want to see him get hurt. |

She is very pushy when it comes to seeing me. I'm a chill person, work full time & I honestly just like coming home, having me time at home, & going to bed. Im married, work out, take my dog out everyday, just started concocting plans for a home business, & have crohn's disease. I don't have time to just hang out all night, if I do it's for special occasions / dinner or movie dates. I'm just the type of person who is independent, doesn't like to hang out every day. I'm not antisocial, just busy & kinda prissy/independent like a cat / keep to myself /building my empire lol. Anyway, this friend I hadn't seen in 2 weeks which is totally normal for me but she was acting like it's unacceptable and she's requesting that I spend my two days off EVERY WEEK with her and saying she must see me at LEAST once per week (which is just too much for me to promise especially cuz I never know how I'm going to feel health-wise)... How do I unagree to this. Ugh. Also, yes she's a great friend and person but I'm just not as addicted to her as she is to me! she's been giving me an attitude saying I need to "work on" being more responsive etc to hanging out and texting but this is who I am. Please help me word how to say what I need to. I can't be too nice because she'll just walk all over it, but I can't be nasty! She was pretty nice but brutally honest for about the first month and then last Thursday she said we could still be friends, but we just weren't fit for each other (we're polar opposites and I wanted a girl who isn't like me because I get along best with people who don't have a lot in common) when I had told her about my friend situation. Now she just seems to be always exasperated with me. I want to know if we're just the sort of friends who argue a lot or if she's a b**** pretending to be nice? She said we could still be friends, so I want to be sure I'm not just exaggerating. I feel like they forget I'm there sometimes. They like me but I've been less of the crazy weirdo the fell in love with lately because nobody is really talking to me anymore and if nobody talks to me I'm really quiet and closed off. I didn't see hardly any of my friends today or at least get noticed by them, and usually it's like this but today it's been worse and it really hit me hard. I know it's just a bad day and all my friends still like me, but I can't help feeling bad. I feel invisible. Things that normally cheer me up aren't working and I'm just feeling kind of blue. I messaged her apologizing for my part and she didn't respond making it clear she just didn't want to talk. In July she finally messaged me wanting to make up and we did. Her boyfriend doesn't like me for some reason and she said she needed to talk to him before we became "friends" again. A few days later I saw her at a local event and waved at her and she just ignored me. Wtf? After that I messaged her again to ask how she was doing and no response. I don't get it? Today I commented on a friend's Facebook status and right after that she commented too saying how much she missed them and it was kinda dramatic. Like she was trying to get my attention or something. I don't get what she's trying to do. |

| Question: Is it messed up to leave my friend behind? Posted: 22 Sep 2015 01:40 PM PDT I am running a half marathon (13.1 miles) with two of my good friends. After a couple weeks of training, it became apparent that one friend will not be able to keep pace with my other friend and I. This friend also does not commit to training by herself. I try to schedule runs with her to help morivate her, but our schedules conflict. I wanted to check her progress and she still could not run 2 miles without stopping, where as I and my other friend can run about 6 at a good pace while not being entirely winded. Is it messed up to leave the slower friend behind? And if she had said "you guys should just leave me during the race", is it a trap? Will it hurt our friendship or will she be sad/mad if we actually do leave her? I'm also afraid she might pass out if we leave her because it is such a rigorous workout. Thanks in advanced. |

Then like last year we drifted apart like a lot (and I'm not trying to like point fingers but it was her fault haha). But then about months ago she texted me and wanted us to be close like we were again and she was like apologizing for drifting away from me and everything. So it was fine I was glad we were friends again. So then I went to summer camp and she would get mad and have these spells whenever I didn't text her back (I was at camp having fun for God's sake). And she would just like freak out. But I'm completely straight. But then she was like I take that back I'm not in love with you I just really like you. So I'm really confused. But it's just really exhausting being her friend because I literally have to be on my phone every second to text her otherwise she'll freak out if I don't text her back. I would do anything for him but I get the feeling he doesn't care about me anymore. I'm not going to go into this in detail, but I'll say as much as that he has ignored me in the worst possible way and made me feel like I always come last. The thing that happened was this: I've been suicidal for a very long time now (several years), and a few days ago I finally acted upon it and tried to get hit by a car. Before I did this I sent a text message to my friend saying that I loved him but didn't want to live anymore. I got no reply. The same night I was rushed to the hospital (with no injuries). When I woke up there the next day I expected several worried messaged from him, but when I turned on my phone there was none. I thought this was strange, so I messaged him, told him where I was and that I had attempted suicide. The reply I got was (translated into English): "Good to know you're okay. Take your time to recover. Get well and good luck ^^" When I red this I was shocked about how indifferent he sounded. I literally sent him a goodbye-message, then tried to kill myself then got myself into a hospital and he acts like he hardly cares. I'm now home again and he didn't try to contact me again or visit me (he lives 7 km away from the hospital.) My question is: what do you think about his reaction to me attempting suicide? |

I usually keep to my self when I'm home but one of the girls who lives here is so disrespectful. She'll make snooty little comments and insist on fighting even if I don't reciprocate. Today, I was taking out the trash and she came up and said, "yeah *****, take out that trash." Later, she came into my room without permission. When I told her to leave, she said make me leave; basically trying to get me to fight her. I wouldn't have a problem if she would just keep to her self. I just ignore here when I see her but she makes it difficult. She'll start saying difficult things and If I choose to be the bigger person and walk away, she'll stand outside my room calling me a coward and cursing at me. The landlord is an idiot and won't do anything about it. What should I do? I don't want to call the police (well, I do because she's very violent) but I don't have the money for a lawyer. Any helpful ideas would be appreciated. No dumb answers please. This is a serious situation. |

I live on the closest to Turkey island, Samos. Everyday more than thousand refuges get here after going through Hell on earth in Turkey. We try to help them all, but still there are some you just get closer to than others ,especially when they share their stories, and their hopes for the future with you. I met one of this really amazing people today. I asked him to give me his facebook account so we can keep in touch after his short stay in our island. The problem is he typed his account in my phone when I had no network connection. I've been through all search histories, I tried to find him but he nothing came up.
