Question: Should I confront my mother-in-law? Posted: 25 Sep 2015 03:25 PM PDT She's very passive-aggressive with me. I've been with my husband for ten years, since we were teenagers, and I've always been very shy. I don't have a mom so I've always desired a close relationship with her, but I feel that she resents me for not opening up to her for the first few years I knew her. Now that her other son is getting married, she's acting very polite toward me but says things with a negative undertone, gives backhanded compliments, etc while cozying up to my brother-in-law's new fiancée. I really want to be close to her and I just found out I'm pregnant with our first child and have not told anyone yet. I want to fix this before the baby comes but I'm not sure if I should just confront her (politely, of course) or just let it go and hope for the best. Any advice is appreciated. |
Posted: 25 Sep 2015 03:15 PM PDT He went out with his football friends and after he quit his job took your wallet and all of your money along with it? You gave him money out of your own wallet just last night to see his friends. What would you do? And how about the little jerk lives with you? You cook and clean up after him. He was quick to leave the house before you found it missing. |
Question: Why are people left handed? Posted: 25 Sep 2015 02:13 PM PDT I am left handed and no one in my family or extended family is left handed. So I wonder how in the world am I? |
Posted: 25 Sep 2015 01:44 PM PDT I dont know it she is flirting or treating me this way because of the past and she feels confortable. I will be in my office and it seems like she looks at me through the glass when she walks by. I started a diet last week and she was talking to co workers and was telling them she was on a diet and they told her I was too. We are a close team. She comes to my office and tells me she heard I was on a diet and she can share her life with me which she is eating life ceral. She said I know it sounds corney and laughs. A few days later she comes in my office and tells mme she had a weird dream about me. That I was hanging out at her house and my mom comes to get me and I tell her Im just chilling. She told me she told her husband and he said that means I was thinking of her and he needs to keep an eye on me. When in the breakroom she pokes me in the side while walking be hide me. Then today I was getting a drink and she teased to stick her finger in my drink and says my germs. I didnt hear what she said and she did it again. I am 40 she is 35 so we are not kids. So am I just wish too hard or she just being friendly. Oh and she has told me she was having issue with her husband at one time. but I still dont want to stand in her marriages way or complicate things at work. I just want to know if others think she like me the way I like her or is it friendly fire |
Question: What should I do? I'm 38 and she's 32.? Posted: 25 Sep 2015 01:38 PM PDT We were together for 6 years and my ex decided she wanted to take a break and have some space from me. She said everything I did was getting annoying. I agreed because I was getting annoyed with her. I moved out at this point. The reason she wanted this is because she said she's at the point in her life where she wants to put all her focus on her kids since most of our relationship she paid more attention to me and just wants to be alone now. After not hearing from her the first couple of days she contacted me. She would contact me a lot asking what I'm doing and how I feel. After about 4 days she decided to break up with me and wants to be friends. It's been about 2 weeks now and she keeps texting and calling me and having me come over like we are still together. I have brought up about starting over and having a relationship and she said she still wants to be alone but you never know what could happen in the future. I know it's not another guy because she is constantly telling me everything throughout her day and asking what I'm doing. It's like we're together but living in separate houses. I never send texts or call her. She's the one doing all the contacting. What does all this mean? What are the we'll get back together? What can I do too get her back? |

Posted: 25 Sep 2015 01:14 PM PDT My girlfriend is having problems with her neighbors their always starting something . yes i know people are asshole it's a fact. When I ask her want me do something about it she says no you'll just make matters worse. And what's also messed up is they have a camera upstairs . |
Question: Why is My husband defending his ex? Posted: 25 Sep 2015 01:02 PM PDT My husbands ex was employed as a nanny to a 10 yr old boy and fierd for stealing gold items an ipad and the 10 yr old boys clothes for her son (my husbands son) when i told him what i was told he started getting defensive and angry and said well if they go to police the police will ask for proof and thats hard to prove! Im like what? Is he defending her, as shes done this before when they where married. |
Question: I confronted my abuser? Posted: 25 Sep 2015 12:52 PM PDT For the past three years I have been being abused by three different people - all emotionally. I confronted one of them and basically told them I felt like they were using my fears against me to try and make me dislike myself and that they always twisted my words so that I would sound like I was saying these horrible, abusive things. It's been three years, I finally confronted her - and she told me I was the abuser, not her. Is this a tactic abusers use to blame their victims or is she right? |

Question: Boyfriend doesn't know I'm married.. how do i tell him? Posted: 25 Sep 2015 10:15 AM PDT Ok he isn't really my boyfriend he is more of a cuddle buddy. IM NOT CHEATING I'm in an open marriage. plus we haven't had sex we have just been cuddling for a little while. but everytime we hang out i feel like I'm lying to him for not saying anything. we haven't done anything sexual we have just been cuddling. I'm worried that he will react badly when he finds out I'm married... i think that he will misunderstand and think that its a closed marriage or that all marriages should be closed and i will lose a good friend and a cuddle buddy. is there a good way to explain how my relationship works without losing him? PS i know that he isn't interested in a romantic relationship because he has told me. he also told me that he doesn't have sex with people that he isn't in a romantic relationship with. JUST CUDDLE BUDDIES.... so guys how would you feel and react in this situation? the relationship is not a secret. both me and my husband have other partners |

Question: What do you make of this? Posted: 25 Sep 2015 08:47 AM PDT I live with my mother and she recently took on a roommate. He is a 32-year-old single father. My mother is concerned that he will attempt to make passes at me given the chance, but he swears he never would because I'm 17-years-old, turning eighteen in just two months. He has a daughter who is almost five years my junior and her and I are close friends. He claims to only see me as his daughter's friend. Now, yesterday, he asked me to go for a really long walk with him back to his apartment to grab a few things. I agreed, thinking nothing of it. He kept telling me that I was beautiful and that he would never let any guy hurt me. We began joking about how uptight my mother is about him making passes at me, so he started saying stuff like, "Tell her we're gonna get married." Again, thought nothing of it. We got home, the day continued normally, I went to bed. I woke up this morning and my mother had informed me that he woke up around 1AM and he was peeking into my bedroom, as if watching me sleep. She said once she had made her presence known, he immediately turned around and walked to the kitchen, without a single word. She proceeded to shut my door and return back to the living room. He hasn't said a single word to either of us since. We don't know what to make of this. |
Question: Why is my dad so crazy? Posted: 25 Sep 2015 08:21 AM PDT My dad never acted like this before, but he's getting worse and worse as he gets older. He gets like this every now and then, and Idk if he's been drinking or what. He claims he's not. He's been unemployed for three moths now, and my mom is on disability. She has a rare lung disease called LAM. She wears oxygen all the time. When he's in these moods he gets up like at 530 and by time my mom and I usually get up, like 930, he's out of it. He needs a nap, but refuses. Then he will pick fights with my mom, and he puts words in her mouth like she said that she doesn't love him, she wants him gone, etc. She doesn't say that. He always says he could find another woman if she doesn't love him, then he's like "you don't know how much I love you, I would never leave you" he accuses her of having a boyfriend even though she doesn't go anywhere due to her illness. He doesn't remember anything he does because he's so lost. He also screams in his sleep when he's like this. Aka night terrors. He was bothering my mom during her nap, and she told him to just leave, Cuz he was threatening to, etc. He did and he's like "when I come home I want the house papers on the table!" No clue why. He lies a lot too. He said he already talked to police and they agree with him, which is a lie. What do you think is going on? I think he has something mental going on. Like 6-7 years ago he got hit on the head at work, so idk if it's from that. Thank you to who ever replies. |

Question: Problemi di cuore..sto soffrendo troppo? A quanto so lui jon esce perchè sta male e sta solo lavorando.
Question: Mother in law jealous of me...? Posted: 25 Sep 2015 06:19 AM PDT Or at least this is my guess. I would like to know if someone can provide me with a a proper strategy or technique for dealing with this kind of situation. I think it is the battle of who is more important in her sons life. I have posted before that she went as far as not picking up the phone for a whole week before we went on vacation and even while on it. She is widowed and has only my husband as her son and that's why I am trying to be understanding and patient. 1 1/2 month ago we were together at a family party, she blurted out in front of everyone that my husband was crazy about his ex and that she does not blame him because she was absolutely gorgeous, though a little nutty. She also knocks me to her son when they are on the phone together and my husband tells me about it and tells me he sticks up for me each time she does. She criticizes everything. I find these remarks unacceptable and disrespectful and my husband and I don't know what to do. I don't want to step in and have an altercation with her because she is 65 years old and I don't fight with elderly people. In my family, that is unheard of. Any suggestions, anyone who is going through this as well? We have been married 10 1/2 months. :-/ If you post and you have heard me ask a similar question before, please let me remind you that only positive and encouraging feedback will be welcome. If you don't have anything helpful to say then please don't post anything disparaging. Thanks. |

Question: Still feeling hurt, relationship advice? Posted: 25 Sep 2015 04:18 AM PDT Those events happened in less than a year ago, I will try to keep it short. I've been in a long distance relationship for 2 years with a wonderful guy. However he had been going silent every time there was a minor or major issue in or out of the relationship (eg work, family etc.). The "silence" would last from 1 day to 2 weeks at one time. I was always telling him kindly not to ever do this again once he talked to me. He always promised me because he didnt want to lose me. One week before our one year anniversary he started talking to me less and less. On our 1 year anniversary he stopped talking completely or going on facebook/whatsapp for two weeks. I was wrecked because I had booked tickets to see him. He told me he didnt have an internet connection :/ To be perfectly honest I don't believe this but even if this was true, there are other ways to communicate as well. It's been almost a year now, he has kept his promise and hasn't done this again. He can't understand, however, that I am still hurt. It didn't happen once, it happened a lot of times. We're arguing oftenly because I can't trust him completely anymore. Thing is that I am aware he is okay with me now...but I am stuck in there, feeling hurt and anger towards him and myself for taking that. I don't want to be like this, yet with the distance, it's so difficult to get over it. What should I do? :/ no trolling please and best answer will be rewarded :) |
Question: Es una buena relación? |
Question: Is my teacher a pedophile, or just unreasonably creepy? Posted: 24 Sep 2015 10:47 PM PDT Alright, so I have this teacher. We ll call him Mr. P. The following are facts about him being a creep, or pedophile. Mr. P is a naturally creepy looking man, and was my homeroom teacher for a few weeks. He is also a science teacher. When I was in his homeroom, he gave us a speech about how we were NOT children, but young adults. A week after school started, he started targetting one student with a "term of endearment," a name he had called his own son. It wasn t far into to year, and he still had trouble recalling names. Later, all of his students were taken from his homeroom, as that essentially became a classroom students went to do missing schoolwork. I overheard a female classmate from his homeroom say he made her uncomfortable. A friend told me a boy alerted her that he was looking at female students (ranging from 14 to 16) breasts or ***. My friend didn t really know the boy, but the boy seemed really serious. A few days ago at lunch, when I sat with my friends, he walked by, and my other friend seemed really uncomfortable that he was near. The friend was a year older, and told us when she was in his class, and during that year, she generally wore low-cut shirts and a jacket. She had the jacket unzipped in his science class, and noticed him staring. She zipped up her jacket. He looked annoyed, and went back to his work. Other students have sent the school councilors anonymous notes regarding Mr. P, claiming he stared at a girl s breast, or a girl s ***. |

Question: How should someone respond to this? Posted: 24 Sep 2015 10:33 PM PDT My friend Moved away and she was talking to a coworker that she thought liked her. Well he didn't want to say bye to her because he said that he would lead her on. So she left it alone and then a few nights after she moved he texted her hey but she didn't respond because to her he didn't care not even as a friend so she hasn't answered him. Should she say something or leave it alone? Please respond with some advice. |
Question: I don't want to pay rent... but I messed up my chances at being rent-free....? Posted: 24 Sep 2015 10:27 PM PDT So my mom and I had an agreement that if I go to school, I wouldn't have to pay rent. So I took 2 classes at a local Jr college, and haven't been paying rent this past month and a half or so. But I actually dropped the classes because they seemed so god-d*mn irrelevant to any reason why *I* wanted to attend school, to actually prepare me for any actual career. I was learning about native american Indians in one and watching power points on business in the other. But now, because I am too honest, my mom knows I don't have any classes. Is there anything I can do to not pay rent? I really want to save up for a nice motorcycle.... And bleeding myself slowly by making rent payments is only hindering that.... |

Question: Was this counted as a fight? Can this be a fight scene? Posted: 24 Sep 2015 09:36 PM PDT I remember this one time, I believe I was like 10 or 11 years old, I once got into a massive arguement with my older sister, Jasmine. It was something about a computer. We were yelling and insulting each other and getting in each other's throats. Then Jasmine tried to ignore me by listening to her iPod. I kept insulting her in her face while she was trying to ignore me. Once I left, out of nowhere she punched me on the back of my head. Then we started fighting in the kitchen. My younger brother saw, but wss too scared to do/say anything. I kept scratching her and pulling her hair (back then I didnt know much about fighting). I can't remember the rest of it, but we both got cut on our finger. We eventually apologized cause I was crying after the fight. So was this counted as a battle between me and Jasmine?? BQ-CAN THIS BE A FIGHT SCENE?? |
Question: How can I tell if she doesn't like me anymore? Posted: 24 Sep 2015 09:17 PM PDT It's been a year since I saw her and even though we never talked to each other we both knew that there was something going on, she always used to stare and smile at me etc etc, the problem is that we both live in different countries and I can only see her once a year so my question is, is there a possibility that she still likes me??? Or should I just move on with my life, I really like her. |
Question: Is it okay to break a promise? Question: Did you change your first or last name? Why? Posted: 24 Sep 2015 08:03 PM PDT I've never liked my name very much so I'm thinking of changing/modifying it. My first name is ok I guess but my last name is what I really don't like. If you've changed your name, first or last, why did you? And has it changed or affected your life any, and if so how? I'm not talking about getting married, I mean changing your name simply because you felt for whatever reason that it didn't suit you. |

Question: How would you respond to this? Posted: 24 Sep 2015 04:58 PM PDT My guy friend last night came over and we were hanging out and we decided that we would go for a walk together. We were walking and he stops and says I got something to tell you and I need you to listen to me. I thought something bad had happened, then he shocked me. He says, I love you. I've been in love with you for 3 years and I can't stand you being with anyone else. I want you to be with me and be in love with me and no-one else. I'm really in love with you and want to see where things go between us in a relationship. He's tall, tan, dark hair, dark brown eyes, Italian-American, smart, fun, down-to-earth, loving, caring, humble individual. We have a great time with one another when we are alone together from just talks to going to amusement parks and having fun with one another. I don't know how to respond to this because he later told me that I didn't have to say anything, but he just wanted me to know how he felt about me after having a 3 year friendship with me. How would you respond to this? I don't know how to respond if we do talk later on tonight on the phone. He's 26 and established in his career as a business man and I'm 25 working on my bachelors degree in education. We just continued walking after he said it, but something in me wanted to say something to him, but I didn't. When should I respond to his statement towards me? |

Question: I don't know what to do?[16 yr old and a 28 yr old]? Posted: 24 Sep 2015 01:21 PM PDT I'm about to be 17 soon but a little bit before my birthday I met this guy. We had a lot in common and went through the same things in life[self harm, depression, ect.]He looked my age so I didn't think nothing of it. We were talking one day and he told me he was 28! I freaked out and didn't reply. And to make matters worse my parents found out about him and his age. They obviously don't approve and neither do I. He says he loves me and doesn't want to live without me. And is saying if I leave him he is going to kill himself and is telling me he's cutting himself.I don't know what to do and I don't want to hurt him and be responsible for him hurting himself :( do I just stop talking to him? or do I tell him the truth? He is also saying he wants to have sex with me and get married and is telling everyone I'm his girlfriend and I never said I was! He even put it on his facebook ??What should I do :( |
