Then the next day she was all moody and I got upset and said "whatever bye." I've tried to ask her whats wrong and reach out to her but she keeps pushing me away, calling me a kid, and all that. I've been giving her space but I really want her to be my best friend again. We do have a weird relationship because we used to date, but we ended up still being friends then we became best friends. I'll do anything to make her happy and she knows that. I'm not sure whats going on in her personal life but at this point I just want to hold her and give her sweets so she can smile. My whole life, no matter where I went or moved, I knew someone, so I've never really had to make new friends. My freshman year I had a pretty good group of friends. Despite moving to a new town, I managed to find a friend-of-a-friend at my new school and through her I met a great group of girls who were my friends that year (her included). Everything was great until said friend-of-a-friend transferred schools sophomore year. I still had friends at this point. Then my other friend left the school as well and our group dissipated. But, I was still okay. I had recently made friends with a group of juniors from my drama club and everything was great...until they graduated and left. Now I have no one. I have some people I'm friendly with but they obviously, would rather talk to their pre-established friends, and I can't fault them for that. But now I have idea what to do. I've never HAD to make friends, it just came naturally. Just this time, it's not. If you can offer me any help that would be great. I really want to have fun this year, and that's kinda hard to do by myself. Sorry this was long. |

I didn't say anything about it or anything, considering that I had another friend who was cutting and she told everybody, she was only doing it for attention, multiple people went to the counselor and all the counselor did was call home. That's it. So I can't go there, and if I tell any other teacher, the only thing they can do is tell the counselor, she is really shy and I don't want to bring it up. She also doesn't like talking about her old life at her school. I myself have self harmed and it's tough. I haven't told her and my scars are almost invisible and you can't see them unless you actually look, I know what it's like, it's addicting. I really want to ask, but knowing her, she would go in her shell and stop talking to me. I want to be her friend and help her, but I'm not doing this because I pity her or look down on her. Almost all of my friends don't even talk to me anymore, I only have two friends, but they are really important to me. There are also some girls on my soccer team that are only mean to me. Like there was one where she wouldn't let me pass her and I ran into the bushes and there's another girl that always yelling at me. And at school I have tons of homework and I usually don't even take a break until 8:00 PM. And I feel like my mom is pressuring me to do better even though I am trying my hardest. Like if I want to stop doing something she's yelling at me to keep doing it. When I am free from school stuff, my mom puts me up with all of these chores. And today I forgot to go to a teacher's detention for not doing a page of homework, and she didn't announce it to the class so I didn't know. So now I am probably going to have to go to a full detention and my mom is going to be really mad at me. And to top it off, I am diagnosed with Autism and I have to take shots every day. And I have more imaginary friends than actual friends. Anyways, a couple days ago I started grade 10 at a 3500 student public high school and it's been pretty rough so far. You'd think that in a group of 3500, there would be plenty of people that would want to talk to you, but I seem to have found that that is not the case. It seems like everyone in my classes has their own groups of friends already. I just feel like nobody really seems to care that I exist, because they just hang out in their little groups. I've sat at lunch alone so far because no one talks to me. I don't really have any interest for sports or clubs. I'm in varsity band because my mom makes me be in it and I absolutely hate it, first of all because I don't even like band, and secondly because none of my section talks to me and it just sucks all together. I'm kind of quiet until you get to know me but I'm pretty good about talking to people and introducing myself. So why does it seem like nobody likes me? I'm just wondering if it gets any easier as the year goes on because it only feels like I'm drifting farther and farther away socially every day. I'm totally alone. A school this big is just really tough to be alone at and I just want to know what I can do or where I can go to find some decent people that might need a new friend in their group or something. HOW RUDE! so i took the toad and said i want it and ran too my house, he chased me and said give it back, please! and i said no so we started fighting so i stepped on the toad and killed it and said ha ha ha, serves you right! so he started to cry so i screamed at him and callled him a baby and hit him and kicked him to the floor and slammed the door on him in anger. Why does he do this! he tryed stealing my toadfood! what is wrong with him! |

| Question: Why do people avoid me? Posted: 10 Sep 2015 01:47 PM PDT I am a 22 year old female who is in college. I am 5 feet 2 inches and weigh 95 lbs. I always seem to get avoided by people. It's kind of frustrating and even strangers seem to avoid me. For example, I ride the city bus and no one dares sit next to me. Even though mine is the only empty seat, people decide to stand. In class, no one wants to partner up with me and when I ask someone, they seem hesitant. Idk, I don't consider myself to be pretty, but then again, I don't think I'm hideous either. I try to dress nicely and groom myself well. I always try to be positive and I am nice to people. One thing though, I am a very shy person. It is difficult to make friends and even guys won't talk to me. Whenever people do talk to me, which is rare, i try to be the best person i can be. Sadly, that's not enough for people to want to keep talking to me. After a day or two, people avoid me. Idk what I'm doing, but people like to stay away from me. It wasnt like this three years ago. I used to be able to make friends and people would come up to me to talk. Maybe things have changed. I will also add that I have a baby face. People think I'm 16, when in fact I'm 22. Could the be a reason why people avoid me, because I look young? |

When we first met he was actually pretty kind and caring, however now hes just annoying. I have to sit next to him in class which is ruining my life! He constantly punches me in the face, steals my stuff, and pokes me while the teacher is talking or when i'm writing notes. I can't tell the teacher because then everyone would call me a snitch, and i can't fight back because that would make ME the bully because he is about half my height. Last year when he was punching and choking me i punched him back and was caught and sent to the principles office and was given the "pick on someone your own size" talk. Ever since then i have just allowed him to bully me and i just act like i don't care even tho i do. If you're wondering why im friends with this guy, it's because i have no one else to hang out with, every other boy at my school plays sports which isn't really my thing so if it weren't for him i would just be a loner but i would rather be a loner than be friends with him but i just don't know how to tell him to leave me alone. Hes been to the principle's office twice alredy, once for slapping a second grader and another time for i HAVE told him to stop AND told the teacher multiple times and he still doesn't stop |

So I have no one to go to football games with and my social life is a joke. Everyday I think about transferring to UCF where all of my friends are. | Question: How do i approach girls and talk to them without freezing up? Posted: 10 Sep 2015 01:26 PM PDT Hello guys, I used to be a video game nerd and played video games 7 hours EVERY single day. But i got bored of them so i quit. When i got into the real world which was around the time i started college i decided that i wanted to talk these pretty girls i see everyday at college. So i start approaching them and i always freeze up and eventually just walk away. Literally i would ask for their name, they will say their name, and i freeze up. I have no confidence because i lack social skills because of these video games. This was 4 years ago. 3 years later from this date i told myself why quit and go back to games when i can just practice and get better? So everyday i have been setting goals for myself trying to get better at communicating. First i was talking to people face to face on a webcam website for a couple of minutes. Then it went to going to the mall and asking clerks opinions about things like cologne Then i went from walking around and just asking people how is their day was and they will say good and walk away. Etc... But now i am back to the part i first started doing, which is pretty much approaching woman, small talking, and asking for their numbers so that i can actually "hang out and get a life with people" I am a very attractive guy and they enjoy my company until i talk to them of course. My confidence has grown a bit but i dont know if it is enough fix this freezing up situation and i am nervous to find out. How do i talk to girls? H |

My teacher told me to sit with a girl who had no partner (she isn't a new student) and even though she'd smiled at me, I just went and sat at the last bench. All alone. The girls at my class were kind enough to give me their notebooks, but that's the only interaction I've had with most of them. A girl said hi to me and asked me why I wasn't socializing, so I just smiled at her. I have no confidence and I really hated myself. Maybe it's because I was getting bullied from preschool to second grade, and I guess that has affected me. I've had so many friends at my old school, and I was really popular, but I had to leave because they didn't have high school. I sit alone in all my classes;French class, biology class, chemistry class, physics class, english class(unless there's a group activity)and the rest of the classes.And sometimes even though I know the answer when the teacher asks a question, I keep it to myself.A clique of girls (the funny clique) found a tower-like game in class, and they were building with it towers.They asked me if I wanted to join, but I said I just like to watch them play, afraid that they will judge me or make fun of me if I did something. I'm not really shy on the internet, but in real life I am extremely shy and I have 0 confidence and I think I'm the ugliest person on the planet (thanks to bullying).It's already thursday and I don't even have one person who I can call a 'friend'. |
