Question: Baby shower gift question? Posted: 09 Sep 2015 07:13 PM PDT I am making party favors for my sisters baby shower. they are 2 inch tall votive candle holder jars, with a pencil inside and a pendant hangs from the eraser. I wasnt sure what to use to keep the pencil in place. Then i thought, food color died beans to fill the jar and stick the pencil inside. but now that i died the beans and filled half the 30 jars, I realize that beans could spill everywere. does any one have any creative ideas to save the party favors? Thanks!
Question: Need marital advice on getting married but waiting to do a public wedding months later? Posted: 09 Sep 2015 07:09 PM PDT I live in Ohio and me and my boyfriend are thinking about getting married before he ships out for basic and ait trading and is stationed. We don't want to do a family friends ceremony till later on since it will be so fast with everything now. What do him and I need to get a marriage liscense and are there officiants that can do a small official ceremony thing or do they just sign the paper? And do we need witnesses?

Question: Was it rude to leave my brother's reception early? Posted: 09 Sep 2015 10:57 AM PDT The wedding+reception was a 4 hour drive away and lasted from 5 to 10. We ended up leaving at 8. My 2 year old daughter was the flower girl. Our 6 month old was also there with us. We saw the bride/groom dance, mother/son, etc and ate. We missed the flower toss and cake cutting. My family was disappointed we left and I feel guilty I didn't think of a way to stay.
Question: I need help picking out a wedding dress!? Posted: 09 Sep 2015 10:37 AM PDT It's not for me it's for my grandmother who is in her early 60's. We are throwing her and my grandpa want a vow renewal for their 50th wedding anniversary since they eloped. She never got to wear an actual wedding dress and has always wanted to so i sort of want a wedding dress that would be appropriate for her age. It will be a summer vow renewal. Yes she has asked for one! They were going to do it for their 40th but decided to wait for their 50th. We are going to be doing it at our ranch next summer and since she has never planned an outdoor wedding she asked for my help. We are just kind of looking for a style of dress so when we go dress shopping she has an idea of what she wants. Since she had to elope she kind of wants it to be more like a wedding then vow renewal. She has been always wanted like a fairy tale wedding and we want to make her dream come true so my dad is paying for it all she has to do is plan it but had asked for help.
