Question: What would you call the person your stepmom marries? Posted: 04 Sep 2015 08:59 PM PDT I'm writing a story about a girl who lives with her stepmom, her half brothers, and her stepmom's husband. |
Question: Mad at my wife for making me babysit? Posted: 04 Sep 2015 08:45 PM PDT My wife decided she needed some R and R tonight so she proceeded to gallivant all around the countryside, which left me home alone with our daughter. I was livid to say the least. My daughter wanted me to play with her dolls with her, and read to her, and I said no to both horrid suggestions. She then asked if I would like to watch the Little Mermaid to which I replied, "No, but I would love to blow my brains out right now" She giggled, thinking I must have been joking. I assure you I was not. Eventually after playing around on the net, looking at..... well, it doesn't matter what I was looking at.... I decided to leave the house and spend some time with my buds because I had a really rough week. I told my daughter to behave. I came home and my wife demanded to know where I was, and I told her "At the bar with the guys, duh, it's Friday" she began to say I should not have left our 3 year old daughter home alone, and then kept whining but I tuned her out. anyway, she has me sleeping on the couch tonight. how can i get my lady to realize that I have better things to do than watch our kid especially when I'm stressed out? I'm telling ya, women are getting worse by the day. might be time to go queer. |

Question: My Wife wants me to throw an anniversary party for us? Posted: 04 Sep 2015 07:27 PM PDT Listen, my wife wants me to arrange an anniversary party for us. It sounds like a drag to me, but the old ball and chain wants me to do this crap. What should I do? I'm not one for being social or pretending that I don't want to punch people. It's our 10th anniversary, or maybe our 15th, I lose track because I am really stressed, and have lots on my mind. Also, this chick I have been sleeping with wants to get together the same night as this party. Maybe I can invite her, and during a lull of the party I can sneak her up to the bedroom for a little nookie. But, I don't know the first thing about parties. What should I do? I hate all her friends because they're morons, and she doesn't want my friends there because she says they'll get plastered and ruin this "enchanted" evening. Maybe I can sabotage the party by being rude to everyone? Give me some pointers, I'm a businessman, not a man for all seasons. Thanks. @Crone: Thank you for that brilliant advice. However, I tried that reasoning with her earlier, but she is an idiot, and would not take my counsel. Do you have any more tidbits of advice, Einstein? |

Question: Would you stay in marriage with no physical contact ? Posted: 04 Sep 2015 06:50 PM PDT |
Posted: 04 Sep 2015 06:23 PM PDT to begin. my wife is an emotional bully. she has tried to control me by fear, by accusations, telling me i will do the same as my father. pushing the boundaries of the relationship to see how far she can get away with. i am starting to recognize the signs but today she got physical. when she didnt got what she wanted she came at me trying to pull my hair. i got scratched by her. i confronted her and she told me to pack my bags and leave. while i was doing this she said " i dont have money to pay for all this house". i finish packing and left the bags by the door as i was going to work. she txt me. if i walk thru the door i will not comeback. and a judge will know that i abandoned my daughter. that im doing the same as my dad and also that i dont love my daughter. i replied and told her that im not abandoning my daughter i just cant leave with my wife no more. so the question is what should i do. i have tried to talk to her she change for a week and go right back to the abuse i cant take it no more. but im feeling bad about my daughter. its not the scratches. its the abusive behavior and my daughter growing up to see this. i havent left the house yet but i need to set an example that i cant take the abuse no more. |

Posted: 04 Sep 2015 05:48 PM PDT EX wife lives in another state with my daughter. I found out she lets our 10 year decide if she wants to go to school at all any day. Already in 1 1/2 months of school so far, she has been tardy twice, absent 6 times , without and excuse. Social services is stepping in. I am trying for full custody, isn't this child abuse, and my chances are better now of getting her full time? My lawyer is involved too. |
Posted: 04 Sep 2015 05:43 PM PDT Recently my wife and I had a really big fight about a inmate that she was writing and talking to on the phone. She was keeping this a secret. I saw on her phone that it was a guy I told her makes me uncomfortable when they talked a couple years ago and to stop all contact with him. So this is the second time I told her to stop and have nothing more with this guy. So I told her I want a divorce. She said she would like us to go to counseling to try and save our relationship. Anyways after hours research I found that they were talking dirty to each other and some stuff about clothes. After more research I found that his release date isn't to far away. So I assume that she is going to pick him up and put in to action what they talked about. Since I acquired this information in a way I can't revile and I can't prove anything sexual. But I have mentioned it and tried to get the truth from her own mouth. That didn't happen but she did said that she would stop talking to this guy. Which I don't think she stopped, just more careful. So my question is since I know this information, what should I do with it? Should I spy and get the truth? Keep her busy all day so she can't, or let it happen and file for the divorce? Or Trust that she really is done with this guy and go to counseling with her to fix our marriage? |

Question: Husband and attorney setting me up? Posted: 04 Sep 2015 02:51 PM PDT My husband and I got into a domestic violence dispute recently. I forgave him and hired a lawyer for him. When everything was settled , his lawyer started hitting on me and flirting with me. He let me know he liked me. I was friendly with him but didn't take it further. My husband is acting weird. He and his attorney were laughing about something after this incident which I didn't hear. I was wondering since we are in a legal issue , would my husband and his attorney set me up to get me into trouble? Since this legal issue, my husband and I fought alot and therefore I have trust issues with him. I asked him about the attorney incident and he smiled and said no. I am scared he might get me into trouble to seek revenge. And was wondering if I was set up? Also would attorneys involve in such stupid acts to help their clients? Of course I could be wrong and his attorney might actually like me. |
Question: I am very jealous of my husband .please help ? Posted: 04 Sep 2015 02:23 PM PDT Me and my husband are married since 3years and has a 1year old baby. We were dating each other since 2007. Actually am very very jealous of him. Well not to flatter but truly i am very beautiful with fair complexion and he of dark complexion and a little fat but cute. Many times people tell me that "you are very beautiful am sure your husband loves you a lot". But that"s not the truth. Actually i love him sooooo much that you cannot imagine and feel very jealous when there is some girl around. This makes me get angry and end up telling him bad words like he dnt love me or that you were looking at other girls though he did not do anything. Even at the wedding when some cousins talks with him i get jealous and will frown with him or talk to him brutally.. |

Question: My husband gets advice from outsiders? Posted: 04 Sep 2015 01:09 PM PDT Hi. Please help me. My husband is in his early 30s, we have been married for 10 years. During this time I strugg;ed with him because whenever he is angry, he would go and share our marital issues with friends.recently, I had confided in him about my problems with my sibling and very personal details about my life. I saw chats where he was using those things he know about me using them to label me as a bad person. In that chat him and the friend were even saying even from the fights I had with my sibling that shows I come from unstable background. I was so hurt and explained that I dont like it when he shares personal details with friends. Of recent, there is this 63 year old man who lives separate lives with his wife. Now he goes to him and discolses everything about us. As expected, this old man gave up on his marriage so he is always giving him very negative advice on marriage. telling him that whats happening to you is how I started. He even told him that women can control you and are reckless with money. Now my husband started to ignore my calls and I am quite sure this is one of this man's advice. I feel so hurt and even having second thoughts about this marriage. How do I handle this situation in a mature way? |
Question: Was it my fault like my husband says? Posted: 04 Sep 2015 12:37 PM PDT My husband got into a car accident. He called me while I was at work and I told him to go to the hospital if he is hurt and I am going to leave work right away and come there ASAP. While on my way he called me like 4 times saying he is hurt and all that. The guy who hit my husband (while my husband running a red light) got the cell phone from my husband and told me that he is ok and that I should not rush. When I got to the scene I realized my husband had been just shaken up a bit and no bleeding or anything. He was sitting in the ambulance crying. I told him it is ok and I went took care of everything; spoke to the cop and the tow truck and all. While I am taking care of the paperwork, my husband keeps telling me how dumb I am and talking **** to me for no reason. I felt bad because I was doing everything for him yet he is sitting there crying and calling me names. So I finally told him to stop bothering me in strict voice and sit in my car while I am taking care of the stuff. I felt like this wasn't even a major accident and why is he acting like a kid. When he came home, I just went online to take care of the dmv and he warmed up his lunch and ate. Since that accident he tells me that I am not a good wife and not being patient that he cannot count on me for anything. That I should have taken good care of him when we got home that I should have done things better. |

Question: Men who buy their wives, do they know that the women only want the money? Posted: 04 Sep 2015 11:59 AM PDT I recently went to a wedding. I've known this guy since we were kids. His family has always been well off. I don't know exact figures but enough to go around. He's always had a tough time with the ladies. When he tried not to show his wealth he couldn't get any girls and when he did get a girl she knew he was rich. To be perfectly blunt he is not very attractive. Anyways about a year ago he met this gorgeous Colombian girl. I mean this girl is a perfect 10. I know he is in love with her. But I wonder, deep down, does he know that she is in it for the money? I mean take away the money and she wouldn't even look twice at him. He has to know this, right? |

Posted: 04 Sep 2015 11:31 AM PDT I know a guy that claims he and his wife are very unhappy and are waiting until his daughter graduates next year, to split up. They just don't want to break the home up until she is off to college... What are the odds that he will really leave his wife? I am not asking because I want to be with this guy, he is only a friend.. but I can't help but wonder if they really will separate, or if this is his way of thinking it's okay to sneak around with other girls.. I've always heard "I'm leaving my wife for you, I promise" is the biggest lie a married man will tell his new girl.. but they never really leave their wife... Opinions? |
Posted: 04 Sep 2015 11:23 AM PDT My husband kicked me out of our house. We have a six year old son together. The son stayed with his dad due to his life is all there. I see him about 4 days a week. Should l be depressed? |
Question: How do I get my wife to cut her hair? Posted: 04 Sep 2015 10:31 AM PDT She likes it long and is trying to grow it out. I think it would look a lot better about shoulder length. Any ideas of how to bring the idea up to her in an appealing way? |
Question: Am I justified in being concerned about the behavior? Posted: 04 Sep 2015 10:28 AM PDT Husband has been going into work earlier and coming home later. He has a new female co-worker that he has began to mention in passing every day (sometimes small mentions that are work-related ranging to discussing her looks, age and personal details). Between the extra time, the daily comments and the requests for extra hours I m no longer comfortable with the work relationship and it has now become a source of strife in our marriage. |
Question: I found out my husband is addicted to pills & stuff... what do I do? Posted: 04 Sep 2015 09:58 AM PDT So I just got married to him, and before we got married I knew he USE to have a problem... well he has been lying to me and telling me he isn t doing it still and whatever. He has lost my trust and whenever I find something suspicious or anything he calls me crazy and freaks out but when he was doing it before, that s the way he would act too. What do I do here? And am I being crazy? :/ |
Question: Is it time to walk away from my marriage? Posted: 04 Sep 2015 09:51 AM PDT My husband is addicted to pornography, but what hurts me more than that is that he hides it (deleting browser history, etc), lies about it, and then blames me for "not taking care" of him. We have one daughter together and another one on the way. Our conflicts continuously go unresolved and he typically gets mad when I attempt to calmly discuss what's bothering me (typically when I find evidence of porn/dating sites) and then resorts to leaving, breaking my things, grabbing a hold of me, and screaming. I get that he isn't going to quit viewing porn, so I'm not fighting that battle any more but I don't want him deleting things in an effort to hide them from me. How do you know it's time for a divorce? Is there any last resorts to try/discuss prior to filing for divorce? What preparations can I make should I pursue a divorce? |

Question: So much resentment with husband help? Posted: 04 Sep 2015 08:32 AM PDT My husband and I got married at 21. After college, I landed my dream job. Him & I both made great money & were doing really well. 2 years ago, my husband wanted to follow his dream and relocate for a new job. This would force me to quit my job, We relocated. 2 weeks into his job he was FIRED. We tried to make it on our own but couldn't. We ended up moving in with his parents. Now, it's been almost 2 years. We've been living with his parents, I work a job that's so awful it's only $10.00 per hour and it's only 15-20 hours per week. We can't even LIVE on my paycheck. We've gone through our entire savings paying his family rent & paying our own expenses. We've been in this area for almost 2 years and I have YET to find a full time job. He also hasn't been able to find any full time work and is working 2 jobs making $12.00 per hour. We've only now in savings got $4,000 left. Not a lot of money not even enough to move out. We've had no time to think about ANYTHING - children, a family, a home nothing. All I'm worried about is finding a job finding a job. I don't have any friends in this area and since he works all the time I spend a majority of my time with his mother. My family lives 14 hours away from where we are. I'm so miserable. I can't help but hold resentment towards him. I left my dream job, I gave up EVERYTHING. How do I fix my marriage? Any advice? We are both so stressed we don't communicate. He refuses to go to counseling. |

Question: Where to take my wife on vacation where we can reconnect? Posted: 04 Sep 2015 07:54 AM PDT My wife and I have been together for 20 years! (married for 17). As you can imagine, we have been through a LOT since 1995! So many high's and low's to list, it would take 10 pages! Best of the best, and worst of the worst. This year has been especially full of high's and low's. Feels like the friggin stock market! The GOOD news is that business is up, our finances are solid, and we're going to have some disposable income to do some FUN things in the coming months. We've discussed going on a trip, both with our kids and without, but I am not sure of where just me and the wife should go? The wife says Bora Bora, which I'm not opposed to, but that's going to be a $10k trip. We've already been to Hawaii, Cancun, Jamaica, St. Maartin, and we've been on a couple of cruises. Any suggestions on where we can go for 7-10 days? Reconnect? Rekindle? Make it JUST about US? |
Question: Would you tell your spouse when you go oit with friends after work or would you not? Posted: 04 Sep 2015 07:47 AM PDT I don't mind him going out after work, or hanging ot with people. I don't mind him going out when he wants to, to hang out with people. In fact it makes me happy when he does something on his own. But i have a problem with the way he let's me know what he is about to do. For example he was supposed to go fter work once to grab a bite with coworkers. He knew this a few days ahead of time but he didn't tell me. He wais the actual day and blurts it out during a conversation on his work break. He says he is going with them because he does not want to be antisocial. I get it i understand. But what is the point of telling me something as if you care what i think when you already took your decision? The same day i decided to go out. I believe he got upset and came back home because i also said i was going out. Now another time comes. He comes from work and tells me he has to help this lady move. That she asked about 10 guys at work to come help her move and she promised them food and stuff. That he was trying to avoid her at work but she caught him. So i was thinking 10 guys just to help her move? Is it not more than enough? Does she not have a husband? He said they are divorced and he also works at the same place. So i told him if you want to go out just tell me don't wait the last minute then tell me when you already made the decision because it means i do not matter. I will not bite you i am not your mother but just tell me is that too much to ask?what kind of game is he playing? |
Question: I want to divorce my husband, then when we start the process I want him back? Posted: 04 Sep 2015 06:58 AM PDT I have lost my desire for my husband and we are no longer connected. Therapy has not worked. But when we start the divorce process rolling, suddenly I feel love towards him and want him in my life. So we get back together and then I'm miserable because I miss the feeling of intimacy with someone I desire. It's like a see-saw. How do I get off of it? No idea why he is putting up with it but he is. He says he really loves me. I don't know how to solve this. why does yahoo keep putting this question in the law and ethics category??? |
