Question: Do you think this man is SELFISH? Posted: 06 Sep 2015 09:00 PM PDT He wants his sisters to get married first. He is 36 and i am 32. Met through matrimony site. At first he did not mention about all this & now all the sudden he seems to be telling that he prefers his sisters to be married first and i just have to wait for few years
Question: Do open relationships ever work? Posted: 06 Sep 2015 08:52 PM PDT My wife of 10 years surprised the hell out of me last month when she confessed to me that she wants us to have an open marriage. This is something I really didn't even know that much about. And given how timid my wife has always been sexually, I found it so strange that she would be into something like this. I have to admit that at first I was kind of turned on by the idea. But the more I've thought about it, the more upset I get at the thought of her being with other men, and then returning to me. She claims she has never cheated on me, and that she won't do it if I'm not into it, too. But I am having a hard time trusting her now. She's the one who brought it up, so she must obviously have some desire here. I don't even know that I believe she hasn't been with someone else. Has anyone ever seen an open marriage work? What kind of rules were set?
Question: How do you know whether your wife is having sex with another man? Posted: 06 Sep 2015 08:48 PM PDT I was doing laundry yesterday and I noticed white flaky substance on my wife's undies. I confronted her with that and she said she had an infection, yeast infection. I kept asking her if she has been having sex with the man with whom she's hanging out. How can you tell if she's doing it? She hangs out from 8pm til 1 am. Is there any way to detect if she's having sex? I know that women after they have sex they release a scent like faint bleach after a sex session. She didn't bring any fresh clothes to work, only her clothes she had on.

Question: How can i overcome my depression? Posted: 06 Sep 2015 08:18 PM PDT I was married for almost 6 years. My whole world came down crashing when my wife left me more than a year ago. She said she no longer loved me and took my son with her. I know that i wasn t the best husband to her i was mean, lost my temper, and was dishonest, but i never knew it hurt so much when someone breaks up with you. The only thing that is keeping me alove is my son. Now she has a fiance and is just doesn t make sense to me after everything we been through that she can just completely end our relationship and wants to divorce me. I wanted stability for my son not having him grow up in a different home. I just hate this feeling and every day i become more resentful towards my ex wife and i curse her out every chance i get. She always tells me see this is the reason why i cannot be with you. What does she expect for me to be happy and move like she did. I just don t know how longer i can take this. I feel like one day i am going to lose it.
Question: Why does my wife text another guy?should I be worried? Posted: 06 Sep 2015 08:03 PM PDT So I notice that my wide is on her phone more often on the weekend and I am her what she is doing and get evasive. So I had a look when she was not around and saw she is sending messages to this guy other guy. Nothing sexual sent. Sometimes he had she had a nice outfit on but nothing more. But they send each other hundreds of messages a week and pictures of what they are doing or things she has bought. She always starys the conversation each morning. And she always asks him if he is free for lunch or going to gym the same night she is. I know him and know they are friends but I had no idea they talked to each other so often. Should what should I do? Should I even be worried?
Question: My husband just smacked me, what do I do? Posted: 06 Sep 2015 08:03 PM PDT this is the third time hes hit me in the face, and the other times I sort of just let it go because I feel like maybe I provoked him. He apologized maybe 3 hours later and said it wouldnt happen again, which is something he didnt say the other times. i dont feel like I should call the police because I'm not seriously injured. Should I just give him one more chance... and if I do, and he does it again, then what do I do? I dont have any family in america really, and hardly any friends. We also have a 6 month old daughter, whos not the healthiest, I could never raise her own my own and I dont think id be right to just leave back to my home country and take his baby from him. I'm just not sure of what to do this time, could use some advice.
Question: I have no feelings towards my husband since we had our daughter.? Posted: 06 Sep 2015 07:13 PM PDT He s a great dad, hard worker, and super supportive when I had the c-section and especially when it became infected. I feel in the super rough emotional first couple weeks, I was more affectionate and in love with him than ever. Now I feel...nothing. No anger, irritation, or resentment, but no other emotion either. We just live together and both happen to have a new baby. I get the same vibe from him but maybe I m imagining it to make myself feel better. We both love her to death, but just don t seem to feel anyway towards each other. Advice?
Question: Wedding i love this person so much? Posted: 06 Sep 2015 06:32 PM PDT Where can I get married for free
Question: Religiously, Has Islam put women in a position of advantage? Posted: 06 Sep 2015 06:10 PM PDT If children are fruit of marriage, women get more opportunity to stay with them! When husband is out working, wife spends time in taking care of children. She gets more time to see how they are doing in school and can help them as well. So children get more attached to their moms. Is this lesson from Experience of my own life, from childhood to old age, correct?
Question: Is this marriage even worth trying to save? Posted: 06 Sep 2015 06:01 PM PDT My husband is taking a pleasure vacation by himself to Sweden for 2 1/2 weeks, leaving me alone with our special needs 5 year old and a 3 year old. I've got to face a critical IEP meeting all alone and head up a church ministry with no support while he's gone. He claims we have no money for preschool or extracurriculars for our kids, yet he takes himself on this vacation, buys himself designer clothes and shoes, and leaves me for days at a time to hang out with his buddies. On top of this, I'm bipolar, and the stress is causing me serious depression and anxiety. Our counselor says I just need more medication and that he has every right to go. At least 5 of my girlfriends say I should get a new counselor. Should I even try at this point, or would I be better off just getting a lawyer and cutting my losses? I want to believe marriage is forever, but I think I'm going to die if I stay.
Question: Why is my husband like this ? Posted: 06 Sep 2015 05:56 PM PDT He thinks he does nothing wrong and he thinks he is always right and everything is his way or the highway and I'll get mad and then he says love you like nothing happened ?? Isk maybe it's his job , he is a landscaper and these months are long hours but that doesn't give him the right to be rude does it ? He will fart really loud too ill ask him to stop and he will just say oh
Question: Does my husband really care?? Had you been in my place..what would have felt?? Need help!? Posted: 06 Sep 2015 05:55 PM PDT So i completed 1 year of marriage today.. Yesterday, at 12 my husband got a card, photoframe n a watch for me..as a gift. While talking yesterday night, i got to know that he went to the market with his female colleague from work, and she suggested that he buys a watch for me. When i heard that...i felt a bit annoyed...probably bcoz i was expecting something from 'him'. Hearing that she suggested that gift makes me feel like he just didn't put any thought to things, just got a female along n bought what she said.! Are my feelings justified??? (Off lately, we've had horrible fights. Overall, i might already b a bit disappointed with him. Is that keeping me from appreciating the gift....or, in my situation you would also have felt the way i'm feeling (ie. annoyed, a bit)??? Plz help!

Question: How to tell husband there is no getting back together since we separated? Posted: 06 Sep 2015 05:39 PM PDT We have been separated for a little over a month and been in couples counseling for 9 months prior. There has been a long history (10 years) of alcohol abuse mixed with drug use and verbal abuse that accompanies the drinking. He has stopped the drinking and drug use and I appreciate that but it hasn't changed the fact that I'm not in love with him. I don't know how to tell him there isn't any hope for us getting back together. After being on my own for a little while I'm seeing that I feel better and I am a better mother to our daughter. How do you handle this situation? I never want to break his heart but I guess it's time to be upfront.

Posted: 06 Sep 2015 05:36 PM PDT Can you form a relationship with an imaginary person? Why is our mind not able to recreate the full interaction that another person actually provides? Also, what do you think of some of these women that have "married themselves?" Is that just a publicity stunt?
Question: Why some women don't want to get married or have babies? Posted: 06 Sep 2015 04:57 PM PDT Some women decided not to get married yet because they want to grow professionally, financially, or are waiting for the right person, or the right time. Or just because they feel just right to just don't. But in many cases some women like my sister, after 10 years trying to have a baby with her husband she found out she can't have babies at all. Now divorced and scheduled to have her ovaries removed for some illness, she just give up to the dream to be a mother. In my case I have always dreamed to settle down, get married, and have a family. But none of my partners had the same dream as me. Right now I'm in a relationship with a man for almost three years and after having a deep conversation he told me he is not looking for that for at least 5 to 7 more years. I'm 34, he's 28. (he is my first partner ever younger than me). People around me always ask me when I'm gonna get married and have kids, they think I'm just selfish and I'm avoiding be a mother or to grow up and be responsible. But is too hard to explain to people your personal problems. So please, stop asking to that coworker, friend, or family member "what are you waiting for?" is very frustrating and personal. The answer is "is not your business".
Posted: 06 Sep 2015 04:52 PM PDT My parents have been divorced sence I was 7 or 6 .They have 50 50 over me and I don t want to visit my dad any more . I won t get too into deetail for it is my personal information , no he did not rape me . but he is all over with the women I don t favor being arround that stuff, he also talks about my mom in a bad manner with me he says how she is a whore and has so many dudes around and calls her names , he also calls me names sometimes . But I will go no farther into my reasoning of why I don t want to live with my dad , my mother is also more supportive of my dreams ,and takes better care of me . Back to the question, in the state of Florida can a 12 year old choose wich parent she wants to live with and is there a sertain age ? Thank you allot , I will most appreasheiate your answers , and I am sorry for my bad spelling and grammar .
Posted: 06 Sep 2015 04:42 PM PDT Hi, My wife (X) closed our case in February, in that marriage we have 3 children ages 28-33. all are married, she is still getting money from me and has told others if I do not pay her she will go and open the case. Can she do it? By the way, we live in California and there was not any spousal support.
Posted: 06 Sep 2015 04:32 PM PDT I'm 48, he's 56... We had an affair which was a catalyst for his separation. I agreed to the open part because he admitted he couldn't be faithful and we agreed to tell each other everything. Those are the rules. But he met someone 4 months ago and I don't like it. I feel jealous. I brought it up several times but he keeps telling me that we agreed and he isn't going to change. What do I do? It's emotionally messing with me making me feel insecure.
Question: I got a younger woman pregnant, what should I do? Posted: 06 Sep 2015 04:17 PM PDT I'm 42, wife is 38 & the woman I got pregnant is 22. I met her at the club with my friends, I started to talk some game to her, danced & we started to kiss and then had sex and continued to date and also have sex casually. She knew I was married and was ok with it. I told her I was too. I have 2 children with my wife already. Ages 17 and 14. We have been married for 15 years. My wife doesn't know & I want to keep it a secret. I also want to stay out of dodge from this younger woman. I'm a nice guy, I just have issues keeping away from younger women with a pretty face and a big butt.
Posted: 06 Sep 2015 03:53 PM PDT As hard as anyone might try, it is impossible to snap your fingers and transform into the fun-loving, attentive, cheerful mom or dad your kids need when you're in the midst of a failing marriage. It is much better to divorce and be able to give your kids two households with calm, positive atmospheres rather than stay with your husband or wife and subject them to one tense, angry household.
Question: Is it normal that I only want to have sex with my husband and nothing else? Posted: 06 Sep 2015 03:36 PM PDT I'm not attracted to him in no way shape or form. We are trying to work things out before divorce but I don't think there is a point. I literally only want him when I'm horny. He is an idiot, he's unattractive, and a drug addict. He is literally everything I hate. I feel guilty because the only reason why I'm considering not divorcing him is for the sex. What should I do?
Question: Why do some people get "officially" married? Posted: 06 Sep 2015 03:28 PM PDT In the context of my question, why do some people in relationships resort to ceremonial celebrations such as a wedding and documented papers "officially" stating their newly updated status of a relationship as a married couple? Why wouldn't they just be together without having to do any of that, possibly for a lifetime, without following made up ideas by society that dictates whether they're married or not? At least with a breakup that doesn't involve an official divorce, the couple won't try to take advantage of each others' money and property and also use the law involving divorce attorneys as a means to try and get what they want from each other. Why wouldn't these kinds of couples just try to continue to be together without doing any of this?

Question: Was I supposed to list my fiance s last name as mine on marriage certificate? Posted: 06 Sep 2015 02:43 PM PDT My fiance and I are getting married in 2 weeks. It just randomly dawned on me that on our marriage certificate, I filled in my name and signature as it is now with my maiden name. I intend on taking my husband s name when we marry. Was I supposed to write my name as Brittney (His Last Name)? If so, this was not clarified to me during the signing of the certificate. I intend on having my name changed to his, but if there is anything wrong with the document, the county clerk said that we would have to pay for a new marriage certificate ($100 down the drain) and to double check the the information was accurate. It was accurate, but as I said, it was not clarified whether or not I was expected to write my future name for documentation purposes or sign it with my current name. I am so confused and frustrated. Best answer goes to most helpful answer.

Mother says she doesn't want anything from husband and don't know why he was contacted. She's pretty sure my husband is boy's dad since he's white and she dated black dude at time of conception. Boy said he wanted to meet my husband. He did. Husband doesn't remember being with this woman, must've been pretty high and drunk. Husband met up with him once every more over weekend. H6sband has bought him n a few gifts. There eb hasn'tbeen a dna test because husband is sfraid if he takes one and he us his son, he'll owe back child support. He agreed to see him on those two occasions as to not upset the boy andhis mom. Afraid they may retaliate by taking him to court. I have told him not to keep in contact at all since he's not sure of the paternity and that he's jeopardizing things by seeing him. Boy doesn't look like husband but share same eye color. We have been martied almost 11 yrs so this was before we were together. We fight constantlt over this. What do we do??? We live in Texas. |

Question: Is this girl a liar? What should I do? Posted: 06 Sep 2015 11:58 AM PDT This has been bothering me for the last few days and I been having a major migraine and over this. I saw this girl last in May and she said that she would see me again after her summer internship is finished. She said she could not accept emails(limited access) or texts while away. I emailed her in August(when she said she expected to return) and she emailed me back a week later saying she will let me know as she has to catch up on work. Meanwhile I saw on her blog saying she is back. This was about two weeks ago and I noticed the status a few days ago. If she didn't want to see my, why did she say when we met, she wants to see me again and even promised to tell me once she is back. She also said she would never lie to be me, but my vibes are all messed up. I just don't get it. I did email and text her again a few days back asking her if she is back but so far no response. Granted it is the holiday too this weekend. I don't know what to do if she fails to respond or how long I should wait. I could insult/email her a tirade if she fails, but I rather not go low but I hate girls that lie to me.

Question: Should I break up with my fiance due to financial issues? Posted: 06 Sep 2015 09:42 AM PDT I'm working two jobs to pay for an apt or home. I can bring in 2000 or more a month on my end however my fiance can't. She doesn't make nearly as much to cover expenses and she wants all these expensive stuff. Her parents are poor and live like hoarders. I'm going back to school to get my degree so I can have more opportunities but she refuses to go. She wants like 3 or 4 kids and I'm realizing that given our situation she's having unrealistic thoughts especially since she won't be paying for any of it. I just want a one bedroom apt until I finish school and make more money, but she looked unhappy about that. I told her we should call it off but she refuses. What should I do? I'm 25 and so is she.

Question: Why do people say that Religious Women are the best to Date and Marry ? Posted: 06 Sep 2015 09:33 AM PDT Is it because they are LESS Likely to cheat on you and actually want a decent and loving relationship with you, And they won't use you for Money $$$
Question: I think my wife suffers from borderline personality disorder, so what do I do now? Posted: 06 Sep 2015 09:08 AM PDT I've posted many times on here, but I now know why. After reading articles and visiting a few forums, I know my wife suffers from BPD. I'm so stressed and tired of her, but we've been married for only two years. I knew about my wife's mother abandoning her and her siblings as kids, but also suffering from abuse from one of their stepdads. I didn't learn about her mom and both sisters attempting suicide until after we married. There is NO gray area with my wife! Only black and white! She's unaffectionate, lacks total empathy towards me, and is always ANGRY! She wakes up with this scowl on her face that drives me insane! I feel so dumb for marrying her! I swear the signs weren't that bad during engagement. I knew she had mood swings, and a lot of them, but I chalked it up as typical female behavior. I have a one year old with her and two step kids. The kids were never a problem, she is. I kinda want a divorce, but she's crazy and can get mad that she'll destroy everything I own, gut the account and take my son away from me. She's almost spiritually mean. The only person that can make her cry and talk sense into her is her dad. I feel like a punk, but should I get him to talk to her?
Posted: 06 Sep 2015 08:43 AM PDT I'm 45 years of age, and the vast majority of males from my generation wouldn't tolerate it. But these days, it seems like younger generations of married couples seem more open to this. Just curious?

Posted: 06 Sep 2015 08:16 AM PDT For at least a decade, we've been hearing that married men live longer, but do you think this is because marriage is good for longevity, or do you think it is because healthier men are more likely to be selected for marriage? Or do you think there is some other reason? Can you conceive of experiments to prove causation and correlation here? And of course, it may be several factors working together. For instance, healthier people may be more likely to be selected for marriage, but once you are married, your spouse is more likely to identify health problems and push you to get them fixed. Any ways of teasing these different factors apart statistically?
