Question: My friend said poopy should I tell on him? Posted: 05 Sep 2015 05:12 PM PDT So my friend said poopy in class today and the teacher didn't hear. I didn't approve of that profanity and potty talk which seems really weird should I tell on him for being a bully? |

Question: Do you think high school bullies can be forgiven in this situation? Posted: 05 Sep 2015 04:59 PM PDT I was bullied all throughout school and I know it was because of my looks. I'm now about to graduate from college and I've definitely changed. Everyone that I know says I look completely different now. Even my parents are still in disbelief of how much I've changed over the years. I literally went from geeky librarian to swimsuit model. I've bumped into a lot of my bullies since my transformation. A lot of them speak to me as if they never treated me badly. I just go with the flow and I don't bring up the past. But I seriously wonder if they're just being nice to me because of the way I look now? I feel like I can't trust these people, but I also don't want to hold grudges against them. Do you think that people who were shallow in their teen years can become good people later on in life? |
Question: Can two people that really love each other in a romantic way, ever really be friends? Posted: 05 Sep 2015 04:42 PM PDT Won't there always be the risk that one of them would fall in love again if they are still together? In other words, maybe breaking up, or at least a noticeable separation is almost always necessary when there is an intense loving relationship? |
Question: I'm in the hospital, and my friend is making me upset. What should I do? Posted: 05 Sep 2015 04:41 PM PDT Let me start from the beginning. The day before I was being hospitalized, I was hanging out with my friend at a summer festival. I started feeling sick that morning, but she would've been upset if I had canceled to go the next day. When I went I was hardly able to stand up, and was feeling lightheaded, and having bad stomach aches. She was telling me things like "Would you be upset if I invited another person?" and "I feel that I wasted my money." At one point she had even slapped me and told me to wake up. She told me that I was complaining to much, and that I hadn't been listening or paying attention to anything she was saying. I was throwing up there, and was forcing myself to go on rides and buy food. She made me feel awful that night, to the point where I was waking up thinking about it. She came and visited me in the hospital once, and we facetimed a few times. She made me upset because she told me that I didn't look sick, and could come back to school. I was just being a lazy, and not getting up. That made me mad, because she saw how I was at the festival and my pain. She didn't talk to me anymore, and she's always talking about how how much of a good friend she is. I was even joking around and said "buy me fries" and she said "no, because you won't pay me back" like really? I have to pay you back? That's upsetting. I would've brought her balloons, and chocolates to wish she got better if she were in the hospital. |
Posted: 05 Sep 2015 04:40 PM PDT She says that I do in other ways and that she is a grown and independent women and dosent need to be "payed back" but I feel an unbalance. How can I fix this? |
Question: 10 very fast points! Is my professor trying to be my friend? Posted: 05 Sep 2015 04:26 PM PDT My professor calls me all kinds of names for example, kiddo, sunshine, thinker, queenie , majesty... He also spends time helping me more when all I ask is a simple question. He seems to want to talk to me but avoids it but he leaves the door open for me to approach him. Before I took his class he would sing next to me when he saw me in the hallway. Or try to joke now I'm in his class again and he is still weird but I've been rubbing him off. Like ignoring him. Why does he do this to bother me? When I stay to myself. He acts like a child and I'm 24 he doesn't need to play with me like I'm a teen or child. Sometimes he flirts like sexual innuendo but rare. He avoids looking in my face while flirting. Also he was with a girl but when he saw me one of my classmates pointed out that he started walking separately from her. Then he waved at me. |
Question: How do I get my parents to chill and let me go places!!!???? Posted: 05 Sep 2015 04:24 PM PDT Okay, so I am 14 and a newly freshman in high school. I am always invited to parties from sophomores a and I know my parents will say no so I never even ask! I want to go out and have fun! How do I get them to chill and be less strict. I want to be able to tell my parents where I am going and not have to lie about it and hope they don t find out. Also, keep in mind, recently my friends did Something really stupid. My one friend had boys over when her mom wasn t home and they drank. The mom ended up finding out and now my mom knows about it and thinks I m going to be doing stupid stuff. I m not that stupid!!!!! She also is always questioning me now and isn t as fond of my friends. I wasn t even there though and there going crazy on me! I m not aloud to do anything! Okay so my point is, how do I get them to just chill out and let me do things. |
Question: My ex best friend has an eating disorder...what should I do? Posted: 05 Sep 2015 04:08 PM PDT So I had a best friend of about 9 years and last year we parted because she decided that she couldnt act like my best friend in front of certain people because they would get mad. Those certain people only wanted her to have one friend group. Its been a whole year and recently out of the blue, she came to me crying saying she was diagnosed with an eating disorder. I had just recently won my battle, but she and I ended on really bad terms. OF COURSE I WANT TO HELP HER, but my parents dont want me getting involved with her again because our fights drained me so badly I almost went into full blown ED because of the stress. My parents told me that they dont want to start a new leaf with her because her mother was an asshole to us so many times. They think shes like her mother, but the reality is the girl always wants to be a people pleaser and gambled on our friendship too often. Im scared for her because I know how damaging it is. I forgive her but no way in hell are we going to be as close as we use to be. Theres a really big scar on our friendship that is still healing...How should I go about this? |
Question: How do I apologize to a friend I cut off? Posted: 05 Sep 2015 04:06 PM PDT A few months ago I quit talking to her because I got into a relationship with a mutual friend which turned into hell. I may not be forgiven, but I want to give a sincere apology about what I did. I'm not great with words, but I need advice and inspiration for this wonderful friend I hurt. |
Question: No one cares about me anymore? Posted: 05 Sep 2015 04:02 PM PDT I get bullied at school and I hate the way I look I suffer from anorexia and my friends I would hang out with decided to leave me on my own so I self harm to relive the pain but no one seems to care anymore I had a friend who was like a sister to me we could trust each other with everything so I told her about my self harm and she didn t really seem to care so I stopped telling her stuff she knew I had no one to hang out with but she never asked if I wanted to Han out with her at lunch in school so one day I went up to her and she was with her other friend and she kind of ushered me away so I gave up then after a while I asked her if I could hang out with her at lunch which I did for one day it but she never really talked to me so I gave up to just try and hang out with my old friends even tho they didn t really want me there but lately I feel as tho my friend like a sister has been shutting me down like not hanging out with each other not speaking on Facebook as often and just almost as if she s too kind to say she doesn t snag to be my friend anymore but I don t know what to do because I feel like I don t fit it and no one really wants to be my friend and I just hate it so much I basically have no one and it s killing me sorry this was so long. |
Posted: 05 Sep 2015 03:56 PM PDT -I can't be myself with my friends and they make me feel like **** -I can't make new friends cuz im shy -my sisters are like bullying me if thats possible -all my parents care about is complaining about how fat I am and about each other -schools stressing me out -Im to shy (or should I say anxiety) to go to the schools counselor |
Question: How do I over my shyness? Posted: 05 Sep 2015 03:55 PM PDT I am really shy! My brother is constantly getting mad at me over it, and my best friends are really outgoing and are constantly making new friends that I can't talk to because I can't get any words out. I can't even bring myself to go to places where I know people are! I also can't speak to people I know if I see them unexpectedly. I'm really trying to make more friends and be more confident but how can I do that if I can't even bring myself to meet their eyes or get a word out? |
Question: How to mend a broken friendship? Posted: 05 Sep 2015 03:37 PM PDT I had a best friend for over 7 years. Once we got into high school, everything changed. We had boyfriends that we let come between us, other friends came into the picture and that also damaged our friendship. Sophomore year, a lot of personal things happened to both of us that seemed to be the breaking point of our friendship. We had both completely changed. We ended up getting into a huge fight and rumors about it spread which made it worse for us. She had found a new best friend and I had to. But, for me, no friendship would ever be the same. She was literally everything to me. I could tell her absolutely everything and never feel judged. We had tons of inside jokes, we were both crazy. My family thought of her as a daughter. When our friendship finally ended, we didn't talk the rest of high school. I ended up having a baby the end of junior year, and she had congratulated me. A year after high school I reached out to her on Facebook and we apologized for everything we did to each other. We would talk now and then throughout the whole year. Our lives have completely changed since high school. We are both in college now, I live with my boyfriend and our son. We still live in the same small town but never run into each other. For the past few days I have really been missing her. I have a couple other friends but hanging out with them isn't much fun. Me and her have talked and we would both like to repair our friendshIp but we don't know how. Could anyone help us? |

Question: I'm always the left out friend.? Posted: 05 Sep 2015 03:27 PM PDT I'm always the friend that isn't included. For example, my best friend is invited to parties and to hang out. The weird thing is, I'm NEVER invited. Also, I'm closer to these people than she is. I just don't know what to do. I don't CARE but I do, deep down. I have to stay friends with them because I don't feel like making new friends, I have another group I could go to, but it would start hard feelings, so I'm not sure what to do. Sorry this was so long, and that I was repetitive, but thanks! |
Question: Will I regret giving my address to my onlin friend? Posted: 05 Sep 2015 03:16 PM PDT I gave my friend my address... we talk on skype all the time so i know hes not a 50 year old pedophile, also he gave me his address, so I figured why not give mine because he's gonna send me something. will i regret it? plus his dad is a cop so i dont think he will send an assassin His dad showed me his badge on skype and his house matches the address given. |
Question: I broke a friend off a few months ago for a terrible relationship - should I apologize? Posted: 05 Sep 2015 03:13 PM PDT I haven't talked to her in about 5 months because I started a relationship with a mutual friend. Big mistake. The relationship went downhill (emotionally abusive) and I am left with 0 friends, and no confidence. Should I message her to apologize? I feel terrible about what I did as she was a genuinely wonderful girl. and any advice on what I should tell her? It's not that I'm looking for acceptance, but I now realize what I did was wrong and want to make things better somehow. |
Posted: 05 Sep 2015 03:04 PM PDT I'm a junior at a small private school, there's like 60 people in my grade so we all know each other. anyway, so I got excited because this guy followed me on instagram and sometimes he stares at me in the hallways and I can tell he knows who I am. I wouldn't say I'm popular, but I have a lot of friends and I'm well known because I do a lot of stuff around the school. Anyway, I want to talk to him so badly because he seems really sweet too and I've heard good things about him, but he's not in any of my classes. what should I do? I'm outgoing, but when it comes to stuff like this I hate coming up to people and talking to them out of nowhere. I'm pretty sure he'll know I'm interested if I do that. |
Question: Why does nobody like me? Posted: 05 Sep 2015 03:03 PM PDT New school no friends even my only one wont talk to me! Is it because im fat? |
Question: Magic pill or a way to boost my confidence? Posted: 05 Sep 2015 02:55 PM PDT I was picked on during school by the "popular" girls and it's happened plenty of times in the big wide world. Girls seem to think that because I can be shy or quiet they can pick on me. My partner always says it's because I'm slim and pretty (hence why every female he knows hates me). I think my problem also lies at me being 5,3, petite, girly squeaky voice and looking 15 when I'm 22. Anyway enough about the bullying that fcuked up my life. I want to get far in life, especially for the sake of my 2 year old DD, but I don't have the confidence, unless I've had a drink obviously. I remember being 14-15 asking questions on this site asking how I can seem more confident, I've done all the things suggested but people seem to dislike me more? E.g speaking louder, looking up and open body language. Nothing is helping though. Help? |
Question: Is he only dating me for pleasure? Posted: 05 Sep 2015 02:51 PM PDT My boyfriend is kind of a hippie. He's open-minded and non judgmental. We met in class and turned out to have a bunch in common such as interest in film, music etc. Same taste in music. We talk a lot about music and film. He holds my hand and kisses my shoulder, forehead. He asked me if I like kissing and I said I do which he said he does too and that we should but only if I want to. I told him about how I don't want to have sex and he understood saying he doesn't want to do anything I don't want to do. We made out and I asked if he wanted to do it topless which he said "Sure. Open to anything". He sucked on my nipples and said i could touch him anymore. He said he is "universally sexual". I asked if he does it with other girls and he says no, that he's loyal etc. We talked, topless, intellectual convos and our past. Day later, he texted me " Hey! I had a wonderful time with you yesterday " . |
Question: Am I tall for my age? Posted: 05 Sep 2015 02:45 PM PDT Hi. So I'm 12, only 3 months away from being 13 and I'm around 5'2. My friends; who are younger than me (but still 12) are all around 4'8 and below. They think I'm really tall for my age; and there average height. It doesn't really bother me but it sometimes annoys me when one of my friends is like ''I'm not Short!''. She's about the size of a 9 year old. Anyway, am I tall for my age? I have other friends that are just below or above me as well. I just want to know what you think? |

Question: This boy is copying me and it s annoying help?!? Posted: 05 Sep 2015 02:22 PM PDT There s this guy I ve known forever. Well lately he s been copying me and I hate it. I want to be original and have my own style. I started to play guitar, so he did. I started to learn how to finger pick, so today he comes to me and says he wants to learn. I said I liked rain, he post a status about how much he likes rain when earlier that month he said he hated the rain. I said I like a game called farcry it suddenly became his favorite game when he doesn t even have that game. I could go on and on but I m a 16 year old girl if that matters but how do I make him stop copying me and find his own style? Please help it s really really annoying. |
Question: I lied to my best friend about my age. What do I do? Posted: 05 Sep 2015 02:12 PM PDT Hi everyone. So, I am in a really tough situation. My best friend and I are almost inseprable and would die for eachother. Thing is... I lied about my age. Why? We first met in a Skype Call with another friend of mine. (Yes, we met online.) When he said his age I panicked. He said he is 14 (now 15) so a stupid and immature side of me came out and said I was 14. When I am actually, 13. At the time it didn't bother me that I lied but we got really close and told eachother personal stuff and fully trusted eachother. Thing is... We are planning to meet next year. I can't stop thinking about it and if he will ever trust me again after I eventually tell him. (seeing he does have some trust issues and he says he trusts me completely.) I am so scared of the outcome, and don't want to loose him. I can't think of a good way to tell him about my honest age. Please help! |

Question: Can I go to jail for pranking ? Posted: 05 Sep 2015 01:52 PM PDT my friend and i decided to prank another friend. We posted a photo of streets getting near his home and posted them on his Facebook. Since we re all good friends we though it would be funny. Well apparently he took it too serious and told his family about the photos. We decided to tell him that it was us because we didn t want him to be worried. Now him mother is threatening to call the cops if we don t allow her to talk to our parents. We are all adults. I don t think we did anything bad although yes it was a stupid prank and we didn t threaten anyone. |
Question: My sort-of-ex/best friend is asking me to homecoming I don't want to go with him? Posted: 05 Sep 2015 01:37 PM PDT It's awkward because we have all the same friends and we'll be going in the same group either way. I heard he was going to ask him from two of our other mutual best friends, and I believe them because he acts like he still has feelings for me. we "talked" for a while last summer but I ended things because I would rather chill and hang out with my friends right now than be in a relationship (that sounds like a cop out but that's really how I feel) anyway, I know it's only one night and it's going to be extremely awkward if I say no. but it's essentially like going to a dance with your ex, which is weird. and also, the thought of being with him kind of disgusts me now. I don't feel like I owe him anything. what should I do? also, I might want to go with someone else if they ask me, even after I turn him down. would that be rude/inappropriate? |

Question: Fun, not so expensive things to do with a friend? Posted: 05 Sep 2015 01:29 PM PDT My friend and I have plans to hang out tomorrow and I'm trying to think of some different things we can do. Usually if we go out it's been eating out and walking around the mall or outlet, and if we stay in we go in the pool and later netflix while surfing the web. Our town isn't really exciting, so what are some ideas? We are both 19 year old girls, if that helps any. Thanks. |
Question: Girl With BF Had A Crush On Me, I'm Still Into Her, What Do I Do? Posted: 05 Sep 2015 01:04 PM PDT I recently found out that the girl I've been crushing on had a big crush on me but she is still with her boyfriend, who I was convinced she had broken up with because she never talks about him or posts about him. I also found out that my friend had ASKED HER MOTHER (when she was drunk) whether her daughter was into me or not at a kickback, to which the above information was disclosed. Am I justified in being slightly mad at my friend? This was my personal matters which she took into her own hands at a kickback where I wasn't present, and not just with anyone, but HER MOTHER!!! Even though I am a little pissed, her and her mother do have more of a "girlfriend-y" relationship than a "parent-y" one. With that being said, I see no reason for her mom to lie about that information, but at the same time, I can only assume at this point that she knows to what angle I'm approaching because my friend straight up asked her mom about it. This has become one really awkward situation and I've been too scared to hit her up for a couple days. I still got it bad for her though and I'd like her in my life one way or another, I can settle for friendship. how do I go about this? |
Question: How to stop hanging out with nerds? Posted: 05 Sep 2015 01:01 PM PDT I used to be a total loser. I dressed really poorly, and I had a terrible haircut. Now, I'm much more stylish, I do sports, and I could be considered relatively attractive. But my whole life, I've been hanging around unattractive people who don't care about their appearance or their social standing, and I don't know how to break into other groups. |
Question: I feel really bad about lying to my neighbor, should i tell him the truth and apologize? Question: How can I avoid conversational peer pressure and respectfully change the topic? Question: Guys should I apologize? Posted: 05 Sep 2015 12:38 PM PDT There was a guy who smiled at me but I'd don't smile back because I didnot know it was for me and competly ignored him. Be a he never talked to me so I though it was not for me. Then the other 3 days he kept standing infront of me and giving me angry stares. I think the staring that he was trying to show interest and waits for me to talk to him I just stared back and left. Now when I see him should I tell him I apologize if he though I was rude. I didn't mean to. And that one time we smiled at me but I didnot because I didnot know it was for me. Or what should i say. Well you think it is low if I mentioned that I didnot know that staring means interested |
Posted: 05 Sep 2015 12:17 PM PDT Hey! I'm on here asking about some homecoming ideas for my group of friends! We're all juniors, but not all of us have cars, so we'll be getting rides. We need appropriate ideas and things to do before the actual dance! Last year we all went out to eat together, but it was kind of boring. Any ideas? We'll all be wearing dresses and tuxes, so we need something slightly less physical. We live in the Midwest, MO to be exact. A couple of ideas were things like bowling, laser tag, mini golf, arcades, pizza places. Anyone have anything else? Thanks in advance! |

Question: What do I do when my best friends turn into cheerleaders? Posted: 05 Sep 2015 12:04 PM PDT So my best friends are twin sisters. Before this year started they wanted to become cheerleaders for our high school, and I totally supported them I just said "Don't turn into cheerleader bitches". I only said this because im known as the 'emo' girl and I didn't want anything to happen to our friendship. So the school yeat started and the first day was great.. then that night I got a text from them saying we cant be friends because I have to choose between them and another friends that thye don't like. So after I didn't pick they started to become wicked mean to me. And don't get me wrong about cheerleaders, I used to be one when I was younger, but are they becoming one? Attidue wise? |
Question: What would you do if you had to go through your last year of high school alone? Posted: 05 Sep 2015 11:55 AM PDT Im 16, and i've got now (september) until july (around 11 months) until I do my GCSE's. My question is, is it possible to maintain focus on just my studies, or is having friend's really that big of a deal? I'm very happy on my own, sure it would be nice to have a good friend, but i've chosen to keep to myself. The things is. i just don't get along with the people at my school. Therefore, I don't want to get distracted by these things and I want to know, is it okay if I stay focused on my studies until July? I do sports outside of school, so my fitness and wellbeing will be ship-shape. My main concern is that I may not make it to July in the best state. Someone please tell me if they are in the same position, or maybe what I can do? If my decision is right? Also, I can not go and 'make friends' with people in my school, so any advice other than attempting to make friends. Thank-you! |
Question: Advice for who to invite to my bday party? Posted: 05 Sep 2015 11:53 AM PDT I have to invite my 5 best friends, my godmother's 4th grade son, my stepbrothers (3rd and 4th), and the whole family of my friend who lives a couple hours away (6th grader, 2nd grader, and an 8th grade boy). I dont want this boy to feel left out, so I was thinking I could invite the whole 7/8 grade class from my school which is 18 people. They wouldn't all come, but the boy would have some other boys to talk to. Since the three siblings live kinda far, they all have to spend the night, which is kinda awkward for the 8th grader, so I was thinking my best friends could bring their little brothers. Or, the other option is inviting only the girls in my class and hoping the 8th grader is ok hanging out with the girls or little boys. He's really nice so he would probably understand. My question is, if I invite the whole class, and my friends outside of class and their siblings, that's 30 people for the day and 10-15 people spending the night for the sleepover part. Is that too extreme? I'm a seventh grade girl by the way. But, if I invite only the people who are my best friends and no 8th grade boys, that's 10-20 for the day and 10-15 to spend the night. Would the 8th grade boy feel left out with a bunch of girls? He's mainly coming because his sis is my BFF and they live far so they had to stay over. Hmm...help me out on the best option fast plz? Birthday is in a couple week I need to decide on who is coming and make invitations as soon as I can. |

Question: My boyfriend doesn't like the fact that most of my friends are guys? Posted: 05 Sep 2015 11:17 AM PDT I'm a senior in high school and most of my friends (at school at least) are guys. my female friends go to other schools, or are older and graduated. my boyfriend says that he would be okay with it if it were just a few guy friends that I'd known and been close with for a long time, but it's literally almost all of my friends. he wants me to distance myself. I know the automatic answer is just "ditch him" but the worst part is I totally understand because I would hate it if he were so close with a group of girls. what should I do? |
Posted: 05 Sep 2015 11:11 AM PDT For 4 whole years of my life people have gave me hate but I do have some friends. Every time I want to hang out with them or do something fun they always reject me and I feel left out. All my friends do fun things with each other and I feel left out. I feel like sometimes I have no one and it would be better off if I died. I talk to my friends but they do things more with each other then they do with me and I feel left out and just want to die already. |

Question: Post concert depression? Posted: 05 Sep 2015 10:35 AM PDT On September 3, I saw one direction in concert. I had first heard their music and became a fan when I was 14, I'm 17 now so it was 3 almost 4 years of waiting to see them in concert. I'm really really upset because I waited so long to see them and just like that they're gone. I know they're taking a break soon so it's not like there's another tour coming up that I can attend. This probably sounds really dumb but do I just have to wait it out to feel better about it? |
Question: WE ALMOST HAD SOMETHING OR NOT? Posted: 05 Sep 2015 10:28 AM PDT A few weeks ago I started see this guy. We were immediately physically attracted to each other. Our chemistry was great, good conversation and a lot of flirting. I really like and still do like him A LOT. We went out 3 times and on the 3rd date we made out on the beach. I mean rolling around in the sand giggling and kissing (no we didn't have sex). So I asked him the very next day are we dating because I'm starting to like spending time with you. He said he doesn't like putting labels on things. Immediately I knew something was wrong. I told him that's not okay with me and I like labels. So a few weeks went by and we didn't go out and I asked him what's up? So yesterday he told me we really need to met up and talk because I have something to tell you. He said he's been distant because he can't give me what I want and that he didn't know he would like me this much so fast. He said before I came along there was someone else that he's been seeing and they sort of starting to get serious and he wanted to remain friends with me and still hang out.He said saying this to me wasn't easy and he feels like i'm the right girl but at the wrong time. At first I was like sure cool we can be friends, but this morning I went off and told him basically he made his choice we can't be friends and good luck in his new relationship. He was upset with me. Did I do the right thing? |
