My boyfriend and his sister are abnormally close. He is very fond of using pet names. We usually call each other babe the most. I answer to babe like its my own name so I was surprised and shocked to find him using this towards his sister as well. A few times I thought I heard him calling her babe and it bugged me out but I calmed myself down by saying it was probably an accident or he probably called her hub or something. The other night I was with both of them and he yelled at her and said "oh my god babe just go in the store" and we waited for her in the car. While we were waiting I asked "You call your sister babe?" and he said "yes" with a weird look on his face and i was like "ew thats gross, don't call me that anymore." We ended up getting into a huge fight that night, screaming match and all plus his sister and family ended up getting fully involved in our fight too. His sister and him are abnormally close. I tried to explain to him that babe to me made me feel special like i was his and thats what people in relationships call each other. and he tried explaining to me its just a name he uses towards the woman in his family and me that he loves. he ended up breaking down crying telling me how much he needs me and loves me and would do anything to stay with me and keep me. So i asked him not to call me babe anymore. He didn't want that and still continues to call me that 3 days later and i cringe every time.

I have 2 weddings coming up, a week apart and I have never been to a wedding before. One of the weddings is at a church, and the other is a barn wedding. I just bought a gorgeous long black strapless dress and it sorta drags behind me (getting it fixed so I don't step on it) and I am a guest at these weddings. I don't wear dresses at all, usually just band t shirts and jeans, Is my dress okay to wear to these weddings? And what type of shoes can I wear to be comfy? I can't walk in heels really. I am only going to wear black, nothing else so don't tell me what colour I shouldn't wear.

She first assumed that her son would be my best man. She did not ask me what I thought about it, she just assumed that he would be who I asked. When I told her that I was thinking of asking my eldest son, she refused to allow it. She wants my son to have a smaller role with less importance/prominence than best man. (I say "smaller" roll because she has yet to tell me what roll he will have). She thinks he is too young and too young to fill the roll (he will be almost 15 when we get married). Am I crazy to want my son as my best man?

My best friend (I've known him for 14 years, we're 25 now) is having a last minute wedding.. how last minute you may ask? It's literally in one month. He called me letting me know that he was officially engaged, which I am very happy for him! This was about three months ago. The wedding was not supposed to be until December of this year.. I thought plenty of time for me to save, considering I live on the opposite side of the US. Anyways, a few weeks ago he texted me asking if I could make it to his wedding, which has now been moved forward to September 1st.. I am moving to another state in two weeks, which he has known about for some time. Why is he mad at me then? I can't stop the world. I can't get time off from work.. because there's a 90 day probationary period. This starts in two weeks.. So wtf?? I wish I could stop the world for him but I can't.
