I walked in and sat next to my best friend of 6 years. I realized she was sitting with a new girl who had just moved to the school from far away. Me being friendly and open-minded, I decided to make a new friend. So I started off with small talks here and there. Immediatly after a few hours of school (senior year), we became the very best of friends. But it wasn't until a few days later when I noticed a sudden, very dramatic, change in her behavior. She started becoming cold and rude. (Both to me and my best friend) she disrespects the teachers and is very disruptive. She acts like she's a rebel who doesn't care about the rules. Example of things she says: "You are really dumb" "I would have pushed you down the stairs for not hearing me YELL your name." "I hate my mom" "I hate everything" "Are you deaf?!, I literally yelled your name" "I don't need dating advice, I know how to talk to guys." "What are you doing?!? That is not it at all..." "I'm not mad at you, I'm mad at Vanessa." (I'm Vanessa and I haven't even done anything to her.) I don't know if I'm the one who is being all silly about this and it's nothing really, but sometimes I just think she's rude and cold. I mean me and my other friend of six years have been very nice like offering to buy her lunch for her and being friendly since she's new. I just don't know if she's my friend. |

She says she can t handle being responsible at all- so she won t join any clubs at school and her mother is threatening to take away her kitten. But it s not because she s being bullied or hates her classes, she just hates being there in general. Like.. The atmosphere. I don t know how to help her and I don t really know what to do at all.. Since we are a very small private school everyone was excited to meet her and be friends. Everyone knew she had been depressed ever since she was a 11 or 12, so everyone was extra nice too her. But ever since she's been here she's bragged about being depressed. She constantly is showing us recent cuts she's made. She also told us that she had tried to kill herself 8 times and wasn't scared to try again. Her father is the Reverend. She is the reason her father and mother are getting a divorce. Her mother let's her do whatever she wants. She has no rules set for her. Her father on the other hand is obviously more strict. Her mother let her get a tattoo and multiple piercings on her face. We just began the 8th grade and we are 13. She told her mom that if she didn't cut herself for 2weeks that she would be getting a tattoo. She also brags about her and her boyfriend engaging in sexual activity. She is telling us how they have s*x every weekend without protection. Today she told us that she was gonna bring all the books from the hospital from when she got hospitalized for attempted suicide. Whenever she doesn't get her way, she puts on a depressed act and says how everybody hates her and how she might as well cut when she gets home. She also spreads false accusations about her father to the congregation. She calls him abusive towards her. This isn't true. She made her old friends do bad things. Help |

There was something off, really off, and even though I feel guilty for breaking up with her, I still have this strong sense that I've dodged a bullet and that I was inside a very harmful net in this friendship. I don't know why. Does this make sense? My mind says she has no toxicity in her towards me, she's not having any of those toxic people qualities that I knew in my life. but there's something truly off. I feel like I'm going crazy. On friday, we're supposed to be having a celebration for our 23 year old co-worker who is moving up to teacher assistant next week. It's her last day and me and her haven't been speaking to each other for some times because I'm envious of her. I plan on giving her a card and I want to be happy for her but I'm not. While I'm gonna be picking up garbage, washing dishes and wiping tables, she's going to be in her better position. Right now, my chest hurt and my stomach is churning because of her success. I was told that I made her cry when I mentioned that I want to be seperated from her. My manager and everyone in the kitchen tells me that she geniuenly likes me and was crazy about me (she even tried to go out with me). We were good friends but her success made me feel bad about my lack of it. In December I should have enough credits to move ahead at the school board. I need 48 credits and so far I have 43 (im in school). But that still doesnt make me feel any better because December is so long from now. My manager and coworkers get disapointed when I dont eat with them. They always want me to sit with them when they celebrate. The girl I'm jealous of always wanted me to come join also. My question is...how can I have a better attitude Friday? When she's being showered with gifts, how can I be happy and not avoid her all day long? |

He supposedly got cut because a girl got two of her friends and approached the coaches saying that he was bullying them which was extremely untrue(one if his crazy EX s who holds a grudge). He now not only can t run which he was very good at and had a chance at a scholarship, but now he has to vist the school guidance counselor. One doesn't like me, but I was okay with the other so I was alright with that. Then I found out they were with two boys who the rest of my friends knew but I didn't. I joked about being awkward when I met them but I was actually kind of nervous. So we met them at a spot, and I kid you not when I say it was a literal crowd. There were like twelve other people, ten of which I didn't know AT ALL and suddenly I felt really breathless. I felt like bursting into tears at the thought of talking to them. It was just so intimidating and I felt all shaky in a group of people. I had a friend who stayed with me but it still felt really awful. My chest felt constricted too. It's happened before and a couple times more on a lower scale. All of my friends were fine. They were laughing and joking but I just wanted to go home. He thought we agreed i would tell him when im done, but i dont remember that we did, and i went to sit with another person and then my friend came over and i felt he was being really clingy standing so close to me, saying mean jokey things about the person we were sitting with whenever they weren't listening, and then a while later my friend thought i didnt want ro talk to him and i cudnt take having to explain myself anymore even if he said he was only asking a simple question. Then i broke up with him, and told him i didnt like these questions cos they make me feel like theyre accusatory and he kept accusing me for thinking he wanted to control my life. Was breaking up a good choice? This wasn't the first time inpicked up vibes from him. |

Posted: 24 Aug 2016 11:31 AM PDT Ok so I went to hang with my friends after school and We went to the park but I come to find out my friends smokes she pulls out a swisher and a grinder thingy and she asked me if I want to ''hit'' I was hesitant for a second but my dumb self said yea I ''hit'' it and I started coughing like crazy but after a while I started to like it and it was good it tastes like pineapple but now I feel very bad I disobeyed my mom and she taught me better than to do drugs at young age because she said my dad died from coke before I was born. What should I do when I get home? Please help |

Yes, what I mean by that loner was that I don't talk at school. I only talk when people ask me questions. I've been in that school for two years now. How can I make friends? I feel like it's going to be difficult since kids in that school knew me as a loner. I keep on talking to someone who I'm comfortable with. I have friends from my old school, I'm just having a hard time in making new friends. Any tips? |

My best friend and I have have known each other since kindergarten and I'm so scared of loosing her when we go to high school because she's my best friend and I don't know what I would do without her. I don't have many friends and I have lost friends before but it was for the better but if I loose my best friend I don't know what j would do anymore. | Posted: 24 Aug 2016 10:15 AM PDT I live in a 8 square mile town in northern New Jersey and that is where I attended and graduated high school. I graduated this June and right now it is summer. My town is mainly Italian and it is a little diverse (my town is not racist at all) and we are actually considered the 3rd most Italian town in America. I hated high school so much and majority of the people in my town, because my neighborhood is a very cliquey Italian neighborhood and even all the people in my parents' generation that grew up in my town are cliquey. I won't describe how bad high school was, since nobody wants to answer my question (which I posted yesterday). Since it will be hard to even gather his new friends, WHERE can I make friends in northern New Jersey that are MY AGE? There is a park in the town next to mine and nobody from my town will be there (thank god). I drove around there today and I have seen people my own age there today. Today, I am inviting my friend to go to that park so I can socialize with people. The park is setup so that people walk around a green grass circle and it seems like a pretty good place for socializing. There is a basketball and tennis court (not interested in either one), but walking sounds great plus there is a high school right by the park and I can meet high school students from that high school if they choose to walk around the park. I just want to be like other 18 year olds and teens. When I meant "Since it will be hard to even gather his new friends, WHERE can I make friends in northern New Jersey that are MY AGE? " I meant that I have only one friend and he already finished his freshman college year and he made some friends but I don't think they will ever come so I can meet them. |
| Question: Kids at school talk to me like I'm a kid or something? Posted: 24 Aug 2016 10:13 AM PDT I'm a pretty quiet kid, I keep to myself, but whenever someone talks to me they always talk like I have issues understanding what they're saying. It really annoys me, and I don't understand why they do it. They do it to this other quiet kid too, so it's not like they have something against me, they just do it to the quiet kids. I'm in 12th grade, so I have no idea why they do this. |

| Question: I miss my old school? Posted: 24 Aug 2016 09:57 AM PDT So I recently transferred because I thought the magnet this new school was better for me. And I was considering how I had a few people at my old school who were rude to me. But as soon as I transferred to this new school I find out that I'm moving out of the district in 3 weeks far away. Now I regret transferring because I wanted to spend these last three weeks I have in this city with my friends before I can't see them anymore. Texting isn't the same they're usually to busy to reply anyway and they will not FaceTime. But in person they are very nice and I miss them so much. At least if I was staying in the district I could hang out with them sometimes. I wish I could transfer back to my old school but I'm already off the roster and out of the system and it just may make everything look worse going back and forth. I don't know what to do and I've gotten sick from the worrying. |

| Question: Friend got me banned from mall? Posted: 24 Aug 2016 09:45 AM PDT Hello So back in April earlier this year, me and a couple of my friends were on top of a parking garage of a shopping center we were recently shopping at. We were doing nothing wrong, we were just sitting and talking about stuff, and one of my friends decided to drop a coin and some candy of the parking garage (idk why). The objects fell onto the ramp of the parking garage and no vehicle or person on the ramp when they were dropped. Later the mall police came and took pictures of us, and took our info. They only got my home address, and for some reason they banned me and my friend for something my other friend did for an entire year. Anyways, I do need to go back to the mall for some quick shopping for school supplies. In the 6 months I was banned, I gained height, my hair was changed a lot, my style changed a lot as well, but I still think they will recognize me very easily. I'ts a very crowded mall, and they see thousands of people every day since we live in a large city. I need help to get in and out of the mall without getting caught? Or am I being stupid lol |

He usually don't allow anyone to get close to him because he is married but for some reason from the time he met her it was just something about her. The chic has been in a committed relationship for years and they both have families. He said he knows she the one for him. What should he do. He thinks she feel the same way but says he is being patient and will wait for her because he wants to be with her. He wants to spend time with her but she thinks it would be a bad idea and doesn't want to disrespect his marriage or her relationship. He saw her recently and for him it was real bad because after seeing her he realized he really wants to be with her and he didn't want to let her leave although he didn't show it he keep those feelings hidden. |
