Hey guys I'm 25. I have an addiction to drinking, it started about 6 months ago. I never drink or drive, never cheated drunk, never abused my gf BUT I have lost my job, almost died 2 times, and I have gotten into bar fights with other dudes. I drink out of depression/addiction. My gf came over to my apartment one day and saw me through the window unconscious and she called 911 and I almost died. Well I know she cares but she's not willing to be with me unless I change and take AA and I don't want to loose her but I also want to get better. I found a Sponsor who is like a personal therapist coach to help you on your journey to recovery and so far I have been 3 weeks clean. My Sponsor and I basically work together in the AA class, then outside of class we spend Sponsor student time working on life skills, community service, and therapy and in a way they are like a close friend also to lean on and in moments of temptations I am supposed to rely on my sponsor. Every person in AA has a sponsor and does this. My GF is upset because my Sponsor is a woman and my gf thinks my sponsor likes me or that I may fall for her. My Sponsor is very pretty I won't lie but honestly my sponsor has helped me in a way and my sponsor also had a drinking addiction at one point and we connect with this issue in a way that I feel she's the best sponsor I could have and understand me in ways my gf never could. But I don't want my sponsor to ruin my relationship with my gf. What should I do? IDK my gf is very jealous and intimidated by my sponsor, my sponsor looks like a caramel skinned Jessica alba sorta. My best friend & I are like sister. We are not teenagers, so this is not an imature problem. I'm finding that we plan to do something, she says she WANTS to do this/that, or go at a certain time. One of my coworkers was recently fired, she filed a grievance with HR and they are investigating the harassment she went through working under this supervisor. She had previously notified HR about how he mistreated her. He denied everything but she was exonerated. They said they would investigate again and let her know their decision about reinstating her position back with the company. Before he terminated her he did not get HR approval. It's been about a 1 and a half weeks and she has not heard from HR. As soon as she was let go, her supervisor took over her dept tried to direct things and let everyone know that he was in charge and all of a sudden he abandoned the dept and very rarely gives attention to it. As a result when we are facing a situation and the supervisor is "unavailable" to help we call her and she helps us out even thou she had been fired. Our Director who is part of the investigation knows that we got help from our former coworker doesn't say anything, but just "I understand". What does this all mean? Will she get her job back? In a recent email from our Director she was recognized for being in the top 5 productivity and work ethic wise. Any feedback would help.

So my parents recently divorced after my mother had an affair. it was extremely dramatic and my dad took it very hard. Okay I have these three options for my birthday: Dollywood, Splash Country, or Devil's bathtub and then a trampoline park. Dollywood - more expensive but the most fun out of all of them!
