Please say which friend you would not hang out with anymore because now a days everyone hates everyone at my school. 1. Sarah- funny and not too bright. Bisexual, my neighbor. Told ALL my secrets to (besides 2) would murder a person for me, has public anxiety. Self harmed 1 time. Knew for 4-5 months.( just cried in front of me for the first time today because she got rejected from someone at my school. (Katelynn hates her 2. Katelynn (was popular) has $$, not very close, doesn't know half of stuff in my life. Has adhd. Is hurting me emotionally because she will not let me have sarah or R. Posted: 30 Aug 2016 05:51 PM PDT I've lost all my friends and struggle to make new friends due to ASD - I'm long-term unemployed (can't change that any time soon) - my old friends were work friends but after 10 years we've all drifted apart. When I think of how adults make friends I think... 1. Work - not an option for me right now, same for volunteering. 2. Parents groups/school runs - I don't have children at the moment. 3. Hobbies - being unemployed I'm limited on what I can afford to do. I started going to the gym in part to try to use it as an opportunity to make friends, but nope. I've tried going to college, just free part-time courses at local colleges, which seemed like a good way to make friends but due to ASD it's still a 1 in a million chance and in the mean time my ASD makes studying a little tricky. It's also not helped by the fact I only seem to get on with men, but it's awkward as a woman as men sometimes think you're interested in them...or their wives they think you're interested in their husbands! Has anyone found some magical way of making friends as an adult? |

I felt like she always let the fun side of me out and I really needed that, because all my other friends were not as outgoing and sometimes you just need to have fun. I stopped talking to her a while back because she was too full of herself. I really didn t like to surround myself with those kind of people. Everything we talked about it was always about her & it got annoying. She wasn t a bad friend but I feel bad that I just cut her off without even trying to work this out because in my opinion friendships mean the entire world to me.Once I stopped talking to her I think it hurt her cause she unfriended me. This friend may even have some sort of disorder because he's real clumsy, socially awkward, can't look anyone in the eye but the thing is he can be rude and say really disrespectful things. Every time he's at any sort of social event he ends up pissing someone off and I need to stop someone from decking him. I have tried telling him about his mouth but he acts like i'm complimenting and starts bragging about how much of an "A$$hole" he is. Last night we were up at the lake hanging with these college kids we ran into. He told this kid " no offence but your girlfriend seems dumb as a pile of rocks". The other guy kept it cool and told him not to say that about his girlfriend. As the night wen't on he kept saying it and the 3rd time the guy warned him one more time and my friend said "what your girlfriend forgot her helmet?" and the dude beat the hell out of him. I was just sick of sticking up for him and thought maybe he would learn a lesson but sadly he just started rambling about how he " tells it how it is". Even though this dude is an adult ( 21 years old) he had his parents call me snapping about how I let him get bullied that night. I tried explaining to them what happened and how he always starts **** and expects me to stick up for him but no luck. His mom called me a scumbag and a piece of ****. Am I a jerk for this? |

I don't know if this is him or not but I received one friend request from someone the person added me and then invited me to like a page. Then when I tried to find the profile it said it wasn't found. Then I received another friend request from a different account. Since last year, I've been feeling like my "peaches" don't care about me the way I care about them. Last year, my sophomore year was horrible! The next morning, when we were alone, my online friend (hes British and Im Portuguese) told me he had a crush on me and we both freaked out, but she was REALLY REALLY happy. (We ended up lasting like two months... XD) One month later, my friend from school told me "Hey, your friend Maggie (lets call her Maggie just because) her boyfriend blablá". I didnt believe him at first. BOYFRIEND? He later showed pics of them in Twitter and Instagram (social networks I dont have) I confronted her and it took her WEEKS to finally say "yes I have a bf and I didnt tell you bc I thought youd be disappointed" and more crap. Then we argued for weeks and weeks and she made ME feel guilty, as if it's my fault. After I pressured her, she told me they had kissed on 10/31 but made it serious one week later. He ended it because I reuninted with E's ex boyfriend. They have been broken up for 3 years and E is now engaged. I distanced myself from E, met new friends and now I feel I'm no longer a negative person, which I once was while being friends with E. E sent me an email a few weeks after and said- I feel like one of my best friends just died and I need to grieve their loss (because E decided he never wanted to see me again because I was hanging with his ex) E said he doesn't want him or his fiancé to even be near his ex (which I believe everyone can make their own decision and if loosing me is worth it to not see) E told me it's either him or his ex- I told him I'm not choosing either, I am choosing me and I'm choosing what makes me happy. I felt his old ways being a controlling person were kicking in. E works with me and so do some of his friends- they are very cold to me, yet hey look at all my snapchats and social media. Why do they care what's going on in my life? Even though I'm a girl, I don't wear makeup, I can't afford stylish clothes, I'm poor so I can't go out much, I'm not athletic, and I'm not into drinking/smoking. I don't have many friends, but I have quality friends. This is a weird question but will they think any less of me? Would YOU think I'm not "cool" enough? Is there still that high school mentality where people will judge you based off of looks in college? I ask because I have met those types of students before and roomed with the like for a short time, and they'll never bat an eye in my direction despite my attempts to be generally friendly. One girl who really hates me decided to spread a rumour that it was me, and I ended up nearly cracking under stress on the last week of school. Everywhere I went there were people asking me "Laura, are you XXXXX?" I was really stressed because I can't let the teachers or my mom find out, because my mom will lecture Mr incredibly and make me awkward, and the teacher threatens to report anybody messing around on instagram in my class. It's now the holidays and school is starting again timorriw and I'm scared that the rumor will keep going, even though my friends, and some people that aren't normally my friends are trying to squash if. Because of the stress, I deleted all my instagram posts, unfollowed everyone and got rid of my profile picture, because I can't delete my account but I realise it was a mistake, because now it might cause me a lot if attention. There was a big washroom upstairs, and I decided to use that one as it was obviously the closest. I slept in my underwear, but quickly put on the rest of my clothes and hurried to the washroom, and then without thinking just opened the door. My friends mom was just getting out of the shower. She had one leg out of the shower and her other leg was just stepping out, so I saw her up and down completely naked. It wasn't like a movie or tv show, where I froze, I almost immediately closed the door, saying sorry as I did. To be honest I didn't even look at her "sexual parts", like most 14 year old guys might do, I just saw she was naked, and basically closed the door immediately, but we certainly did make eye contact. I quickly ran back to the downstairs bathroom, then came back upstairs, luckily not seeing my friends mom, then jumped right back into the bedroom, and I'm typing this as I'm in bed. Since I'm going to see her soon, don't bother answering this if it's already like 12 hours after I post this, but should I pretend this never happened? I don't want to apologize, because she's probably embarrassed. |
| Question: College club ideas for girls? Posted: 30 Aug 2016 02:03 PM PDT So I'm on the e board of a club, and I'm trying to come up with event ideas. We typically draw a lot of guys to our events year after year with video games, pizza ect . but we have a really hard time drawing girls to our events. I constantly fight with the other members over that fact and that they just want what they want . the same stuff since the clubs inception 10 years ago( before we were there). We fight, then nothing gets down and we throw money at a crappy end of the year party at the school. Our school has more girls, just we can't attract them A. Out of their dorms, B. Get the sororities without the frats because we don't want them at the events( we aren't invited to there's so vice versa) C. Get them to come to our events over something else . what's good ideas to fit both sides . I thought of like Glow in the dark man hunt, Legend of the Hidden Temple Night ( like islands from HS) . I wanted a grease ( movie) themed party that my club rejected ect. |

Posted: 30 Aug 2016 01:54 PM PDT Hello guys let me introduce you a little with my situation.So im about to start high school on 1st of september and i dont even know most of the people so basically i have no friends except for 2 guys.The first guy used to be with me in elementary school and the other one,i know him because my dad works with his dad and they are friends.Im really shy as a person and not very talkative.Both of them arent talkative either so i feel awkward around them.The thing is,my second friend (the one that his dad knows my dad),is going to come at my house after school till his dad is going to pick him up.I have never had a conversation with this guy and i feel like this is going to be awkward.What am i supposed to do when he comes at my house? Im going to order pizza because we both are going to be hungry after school but after that what should i do? I want to get to know him and be friends because like i said i dont know many people that go in my high school so i need to start making friends.Any suggestions about how to make this feel less awkward? How to start a conversation and keep it up? I am upset of people around me. I came to the United States as an exchange student from Japan. There are also some students from Japan. I had lunch with them, it was not that fun being with them but it was ok. They said "They hate Chinese students" even they had not met other Asian studnets. Since that, I have been keeping a distance from them. Because I do love other asian people and I do not understand they discriminate people who has never met. I am mostly being with other Asian guys. The prooblem is they do care about me annoyingly. I do know they are staring at me, talking about me, and making fun of me. It is obvious, once I was eating lunch by myself, they were talking about me as I could hear, moreover, they were with Chinese students!!! There were some people sitting alone, but they are starig at like saying "HE HAS NO FRIEND" I just decided not being with people who discriminate. I do not understand why they act like that. Does people who have the same nationality shoud be sticking together? I just want to be friends with people who are from several areas. By being with them, I could improve my English skills, its means more to me. I do not care about them, but they are too irritating. I am tired of it!!!! What is wrong with them? What they want? Because of this we don't hangout, they make excuses and don't say to leave them because I try and I really love my friends. They all will talk about their friends really badly behind their back... Then smile in their face. I know other races do the same thing but I've noticed not to the extent like white girls . I've observed they try to be cool and fit in and be liked by whomever they think is cool and will dog out whoever they need to be seen as "cool". I've also noticed that they are the most dramatic friends and if there is a fight they go around telling tumors and making a big deal out of something very small. I've witnessed white girls who were best friends dog each other out like they never knew each other and were mortal enemies . mostly white girls I've seen acted as if they were in the movie mean girls and acted that dramatic. Why is this? I've tried making friends, but I end up stuttering and embarrassing myself. This has discouraged me from trying to make friends. I know this is bad, and i should try to make friends, but I'm just stuck in this cycle. For example, I remember talking to this girl and she literally have me the cold shoulder. I don't understand how my social skills got this bad, I feel really worthless for it. I guess I'm the definition of a loser. I don't think I'll ever get better. She only wants to be with boys and not me (before she got a bf). She s currenfly dating a guy who s she s been friends with since they were little. Ever since then she s been ignoring my messages and replying days and days later even though shes been online every day. She d only come online too message her boyfriend and would only message me if she had a problem with her bf. I went on holiday with my family and she didn t even bother saying goodbye or meeting with me days before. Keep in mind we haven t seen each other all summer. And when I arrived back home she didn t wish me a safe flight back or seen if i was okay and hasnt even messaged me at all and it s been a week since I ve been back. She s been at her boyfriends literally all summer and is planning too move to his school and around his area. I dont think she gets that boys come and go. I doubt they ll even last considering she s only 13. It s not just her putting her boyfriend before me that s annoyed me as well, shes always being moody at me for no reason and being a hypocrite over everything. She doesn t even back me up if someone s rude to me and I can t trust her with anything because she tells everyone all my shiz.
