I have no problem with this because I know the people he's with pretty well. While this event may be more of a friend's only type of thing (so they can hang out)... He was nice at first and though at first, I really didn't accept him (his divorce, his child, his domestic violence rap, his disbarment from being a lawyer), but I gave him a chance because I was lonely and horny with no real friends... I had fun with him but there were times of emotional derogatory name calling and abuse. Our relationship semi ended in May but at the end of that month, we got back together because I thought I still loved him and I thought that he would change and that wasn't his REAL self. Come August, he pushed me and I got injuries on my knees and he gets arrested and gets an EPO (Emergency Protective Order) against him for five days. We were talking again as of last week, but then I was very hurt and angry. I wanted to KILL him at one point because I felt very victimized but then he said sorry and that he loved me, so we had sex. I am conflicted because during the good times it WAS nice... we went hiking we went to the beach, we went all over town... we are very physically compatible too... and we would hug and he would tell me that he loved me and that he wanted to marry me and have children/a child with me. During a lot of our dates, I ended up paying because he was rather unemployed or underemployed. He's smart and he's taught me a lot. He is older by 9 years to me. He's leaving for Reno this tuesday to make a better life for us (living with his parents for free and get his life/act together). He is in his 40s. |

My husband grew up an hour away from me, and shortly after we became serious in our relationship he moved out to my town before we got married. Now two years after being married and living together in our home he bought in my town, we bought a house and are moving back where he grew up. And I am terrified of moving. I grew up in a bigger city and he grew up in the country so it is a big change just with that. I never had that great of a childhood or life until I met my husband and we moved in together in my town. So the old house now has a lot of good memories, and feels like my safe spot since living there has been the best years of my life. I am just really scared and worried that I am making the right choice and really hope I will be happy. It's hard to leave somewhere you've been the happiest your whole life, and scared to see if somewhere else will be even better. Any advice or tips for me? I also have to find a new job too, so that adds to the stress. Our old house holds so many memories and milestones in it, and holds such a special place in my heart I am terrified of giving it up although I think this move will make us happier, but the unknown is scary. When she does things like this, I put distance between us and she knows it bothers me she will be good for a time, and then start again! The only person she is hurting is me. We take her on vacation and pay for it, and she will do this while there. I just don't get it. How would you handle this? |

Last August we had just bought our first home (well, rent to own with a substantial downpayment) anyway. It was everything I've ever dreamed of. The child has been with me for 4 months now she only 5 months, rencently while at the dr the nurse told the dr that I was the only care taker in the child's life, I'm not sure why she did it but the dr and nurse wanted me to speak with a dhr worker they said they felt I should have something legal in place, being that I was taking care of the child, I declined to speak with the worker and about two weeks later the mother got in contact with the father who abandoned them both and now she's going back on her word as far as me adopting the child. She's only doing it because she wants the father. If I file and ask for the dr and nurse as well as several family and friends to make a statement is it possible that I would have a case. I love my little one with all I have and it's not fair for her to be snatched from me so someone can attempt to trap a guy who didn't want a kid in the first place. What can I do, I'm breaking over here. |
