I'm 14 and I have to hang out the washing and bring it in, wash up and load the dishwasher, make my own supper, change my own bedding, set the table, sort out the washing I to whos is who's. I know it doesn't sound like much but I'm a teenager and I feel I should make the most of my time before I have to do everything for myself.

I don't really know how should I explain him, but knowing this is enough that he is such a cool handsome and funny guy. the only big problem is that he wants to show off all the time, when he's around his friends he always wanna do the dangerous things to show HE IS THE COOLEST GUY EVER!and what happens? he is in random troubles. when he was younger he had bruises all over him body, now he's older and the problems are different. Today he went to a big sports complex with a few of his friends, and he wanted to go to a locked room or something like that. and the security caught him and he fell down, his I phone is drowned in water, and so many things like this. My mom is always concerned about him. My dad is a very busy man and after every long day of work and meetings he has to deal with these problems. and that is very bad, I'm sure you dont actually get the situation. but I really don't know what to do. My brother doesn't get all these things maybe he's not old enough I don't know. I really don't know.

I just got home from riding with my mom to go pick up my dad at work. Since it was hot out and I did not get out of the car to be more comfortable I went for the ride in my bare feet and left my shoes at home. I hate wearing shoes and I did not need shoes for a 45 minute car ride.

So My sister moved to London whilst im in the Uk for the next 3 days with her husband and i can t stop crying and thinking about the good times we had : ( I m only 11 and shes 21 :( And when she comes back she s going to be going to her own house and she only lives around the block... but i would still be crying about it.. I've been talking to a guy for almost over a yr now. He is a few hrs away but plans on moving to my state next yr when he is done pursuing sports. He comes and visits me often and we go out together, get each other gifts, etc. I have said that we shouldn't be official until he moves here but during the time that has passed we have grown very close and have an emotional attachment. Bc I've grown close to him I do at times get upset with him or he gets on my nerves etc. when this happens (or I get up to answer the phone) my sister likes to tell me that she doesn't know what we're doing bc we are basically pointless/wasting time if he doesn't move in a yr..but what confuses me is that no one was negative towards her when she actually had a military bf(now ex) who lived 12hr away. And she didn't have a car or job and wasn't willing to move for him and he couldn't move.? They didn't break up bc of the distance it was bc of fighting etc, but why is she being so negative when I show emotion towards him or actually act like I like him (I don't show much emotion)

Knowing he is about to die is music to my ears. He was one of the most vile abusive manipulative person I've ever met. He treats people like utter crap. I haven't spoken to him since I was 15 and it's been about 10 years. He is diabetic had 4 strokes and doesn't have very long. I don't understand why I should give him what he wants when he could never be the loving protecting father I wanted. Okay so I think I lost my phone at my grandparents house (going there tomorrow) and I think someone at my grandparents house took it, (either my grandfather or my uncle who still lives there he is a low life) and I tried to check I didn't really check because I had to leave because I was there for a few seconds to get my grandmother for clothes shopping for school. hi, I am 15, a guy. OK, here's the deal: I remember one time when I was about 13 or so, I woke up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom, when I walked out of my bedroom, I swore I saw something walk into the kitchen. I opened my parents door and my sister's door (before she went off to college if you've read my previous questions) and they were asleep. I asked them the next morning if anyone of them was trying to prank me or something and they said no. then, this experience was pretty weird. I lost my USB Flash Drive for my laptop and PS3 (to copy information over). I needed one of the Flash Drives for the trip to Seattle I took to stay with my sister. when I got home, I found it sitting on my dresser (I left them both on the TV stand in the family room before I went on the trip, and my parents said they never touched them). last night must've been the creepiest one of all. I was watching American Graffiti on DVD in my room. I remember falling asleep for a good 6 hours. when I woke up, my TV was off. it was impossible for my parents and sister to get in my room since I always lock my door right before I go to sleep. I really remember falling asleep with my TV turned on. my parents and sister have not experienced any paranormal activity so I guess it is just me. this morning, I was taking a shower and the light turned off in the bathroom (I lock the bathroom door). so when I got out, I asked Sadie (My sister who is 18) if she did it and she said no. is it haunted? my parents are at work right now, and they both left at 7AM, so they couldn't have turned off the lights in the bathroom. I am a 20 year old girl with a 42 year old single mom. My mom and I are very close. I have a great boyfriend Bob, my age. I had arranged a birthday party for my mom at a local restaurant. Many of mom's friends would be at her party. Bob was to pick me and my mom up and take us to the party. Bob was at my house waiting for me to come home when I called him that I had to work 2 extra hours. I asked Bob to take mom on and I would meet them there later and he did. Their parents have a custody arrangement. I have always done my best at including my husbands 9 year old in family trips, family events, family outings. I've paid for his tickets, plain reservations, etc... However, I have not been able to experience one family vacation or event with just my children. He does not see me as a mom, and I understand, he really doesn't like when his dad forces him to talk to me or hug me. Hi all, I'm currently 16 living with my parents and 3 siblings. And, to put it lightly I hate my life here. I get on with my siblings, my brother is out most the time so I don't have much of a bond with him but, my mum and dad I simply don't like them. And you might think Im just saying this out of anger. No, everything I say I mean I promise you. My mum and dad had all 4 of us very closely and at a very young age. As a result we have never had any money. We live in a rough area where my siblings fit in but, I just don't want to be a ******* criminal when I get older and I want to get myself away and build a life and family that Im happy to be with. The food we eat is ****, not enough clothes, never do anything fun or even talk to each other, and I'm honestly just sick of it. The amount of ******* times I have told my parents they need to do something such as get a better job, it's one of those things where when, you ask you just KNOW there's not going to be any difference. I think we literally get about 5 pounds more than benefits. Even, if 16 is old enough, there's no jobs here and even if I did find a job I'm only going to be living round here in some shitty flat anyways. There's no family I can go too since they're all low life, drug addicts and all the bs about "School counsellors" and "Therapy" Seriously? When does that ever work? I'm a junior in college with two majors, a minor, an active sorority schedule, and I'm in a club. My classes are already stressful and I just started them yesterday (poli sci is one of my majors). She and my grandma have been bugging me to get a job, but I cannot even fathom the idea of having to go to work for an entire shift when I already have so much on my plate. How would I go about telling her that? I'm afraid she's going to ignore my concerns for my studies being interrupted and just make me feel bad.

My dad has liver cancer and theres no treatment at this point. My work gives no sick days and my 5 vacation days that I had were used up to care for my nephew this year in July. My dad lives in Virginia and I live in FL. I am a single mom and work a full time job. I want to go see my dad so bad but my work wont allow time off without risk of being fired. I cant lose my job. But I cant not see my dad..I rarely get to see him. Ive seen him once in the last 3 years and before that it was once in 2 years and then before that it had been 1 time in 5 years..I miss him and I feel so sad and Im hurting for him. I don't know what to do. I feel I have no options. I have to work. Im 25 and have a 4.5 year old son that I care for on my own. I HAVE to work. If it was just me Id quit. Thank you, everyone! Many people have tell me that you really do not know what will happen in the future. My mother asked me if I want to get married or to become a sister. I said neither, telling her I want to be single. My mom kept telling me that being single is bad. I want to ignore her in talking of the topic. Living in a Catholic home, I was expected to take one of the two choices.

So I was dancing naked in my bedroom not realizing my sister was in the closet recording me. I told her to delete it and she promised she had but later that day I got a text from our cousin saying she had seen the video. I confronted my little sister about it and she said that she only sent it to our cousin and no one else. A week or so later I was picking her up from school and two of her guy friends yelled "ur **** don't look that perky without a bra on slut" to which my sister giggled at. I'm not sure whether or not she sent it to them and I didn't want to ask. I'm so mad at her for lying to me but at the same time she's young and I don't want to be a bad sister. I have been married to my husband for 8 years. Me and his mom dont get along. My husbands brother just got married. I've been thinking about this for a few months and I don't want to live with my mom anymore. She is an alcoholic and she smokes and that's where most of the money goes. Her mother has tried to help her by taking her to meetings,etc but she doesn't want to quit. She has a problem and doesn't realize it. She won't let me hang out with my 2 friends because one of them she says she doesn't like and doesn't want me at their house, and the other one's parents didn't like me because of something stupid and my mom doesn't want me going over there either. I'm not sure how to go about this, I'm about to start school and everything's all paid for so I'm thinking I could just go through this for 1 more year and then move in with my dad or just move now. She was swerving a lot and it was bad because it was late at night. I really want to join a afterschool club for my junior year but my stepmom and dad work at their clinic once they get off work until 9. So what can I do to get transportation from the afterschool club and let my parents let me join afterschool club? P.S the club I'm interested in is the international club, So far I concluded is that all we get to do is read manga,learn international recipes and exchange languages (example: if you know German and someone else wants to learn German then you teach them what you know or something like that).

Long story short, my daughter and her boyfriend have been living with us for the past year or two. She gave us our first and only grandson, who we care about deeply. The problem is that she is irresponsible to no end. She doesn't cook, clean-up after herself, pay bills on time, etc...We know the best move would be tough love and let them learn on their own. But that would also be at the expense of our 3-yr old grandson. We don't want him living in squalor or neglect, which is the fear of every grandparent. What do you suggest? I really appreciated Kit's answer. She wasn't condescending or pretending to know more than what I had submitted. Too many negative comments about the deadbeat boyfriend without a job and so forth. I never said he didn't have a job. I just said they have issues paying on time. Just a responsibility thing on their part. My dad has not been very nice verbally to his family many times in his life, (passive aggressive) but specifically whenever my mother gets a medical procedure done (dental, endoscopy for her severe acid reflux) he is especially unpleasant. I don't know why and I can't understand his behavior. Yesterday, my mother had her yearly endoscopy... they give her mild anesthesia, & she always feels a little nauseous for the rest of the day because of it. She mentions ONCE she feels a little sick, and he begins to grumble in that all too familiar surly tone - "well why don't you do something about it, call the doctor." But he doesn't stop there - he continues repeating himself, berating her for feeling bad. At some point, she tells him to stop because he's not being very nice, and he scoffs (normal for him when he's being called out). I tell him to be nicer to her as well... and he says "Oh, you guys are ganging up on me!" and then... he started chuckling. He gets up and starts walking away. I asked him if he thought this was funny, and he suddenly turns around and YELLS: "I NEVER SAID IT WAS FUNNY! FOR HEAVEN'S SAKE, "KAREN"!" Then he storms off, paces and then comes back and acts like nothing happened. He has done this before. Is he being emotionally abusive? I feel so confused because I'm finally realizing his behavior isn't normal. He explodes over trivial things like water being spilled, denies shouting and says things like"well you shouldn't have spilled water then."

Hi. Im 16 and in 2 months I'll be 17 i live in texas also. And well this morning me and my step-dad got into a huge blow out because i drove to the gas station without permission and left a 10 year old here alone with a 5 and 6 year old. (He does it for a full day when i work when i did it for 3 minutes) anyways he got in my face and tried slapping me because i had an attitude but i blocked it. But it wouldn't be the first time he has hit me as in when i was 14 he whooped me so hard i had several bruises on my butt. And well this morning he threatened to whoop me with a belt and i said "no you will not" and he chased md to my room and i tried closing it and locking it but he pushed me up againt the wall with the door. What are my options i want to move out at least by march which means I'll be 17 for a while then since i turn 17 in october. But im not sure what my options are is he allowed to hit me even at this age? Please help.

Sorry this may be a little long. My brother who is 15, was messing around with my ps3 and I was so upset with him. I came downstairs and started to beat up my brother and and my parents ran downstairs and my mom yelled at me because she favors my brother. My dad was complaining to me that it wasn't ruined and I was so upset, I I beat him up. Since I'm really strong, I hurt them pretty badly. My dad hit me and threw me across the room. Dad has not ever been around. Hes abusive and alcoholic. My mom is working and taking care of my baby brother and sister. My other sister is 18 and a half. She pays for her phone car and insurence. She also just started college so some may say she should not have to pay rent. But here is the thing, my mom is struggling to take care of our family. She asked my sister to pay 150$ a month and mu sister flat out told her no that she would not pay anything. My sister has a full time job.. She also does not pay for collag. He told me that they were done & that he wasn't going to see her anymore. She only stays 5 blocks from me & I saw his car parked outside one morning. He had a bday party a few weeks ago & told me that I was his date for the night. She was there, saw us together and created a big scene. She even threw a drink at him. When he spent the night early around 6 am I saw that she was calling his phone. He was still sleep so I went through his phone and read the texts back and fourth between them. Then I text her & told her that he was at my house with me. I also read text to another woman that he appears to be chasing & telling her that he's in love with her and he could see himself with her but she said she just wants to be friends. When he awoke, I didn't tell him I'd gone through the phone. He found out later from the woman I text. He kept asking me why would I do that. Why after we had such a good date night and sex, why would I ruin it by going through his phone. I told him that I was jealous when I saw she called. Now he won't answer or return my calls. Am I crazy to still want to be with him?

My husbands brother is nothing like him. He's overweight uneducated(by choice) 30 lives at home plays video games all day and stuffs his face with whole frozen pizzas everyday. He also goes through a 2 liter of soda everyday!! I try to offer him water but he says "no thank you, I don't drink water" YOU DONT DRINK WATER?!?! What is wrong with you?? I have to deal with him forever so how can I be more tolerant of this slob?

I don't feel good and can't go on vacation to Manistee. My nose is running, and I am still coughing. I know that I can't go on vacation when I am sick because if I go on vacation when I am sick, I would give everybody else germs, and I don't want that. I have convinced one of my parents that, but they said that I will be fine even though my nose is running, and I am still coughing. I really want to stay at home with my grandma, and the only reasons why I want to stay at home with my grandma are because I am sick and can't go because my nose is still running, and I am still coughing still. How can I convince my parents to let me stay home with another relative? Can you help? Thanks.

When I was five years old i was molested by my step-brother who was sixteen at the time. i was so young back then, that I didn't even know what was going on. Thankfully nothing more than touching happened. I was ten when I found out what really happened, and now I'm sixteen. And to be honest, I don't feel anything, just numbness. I got my AS-Level (the first of 2 years in A-Levels) results today. My grades are: Media - B English - B Sociology - C Psychology - U When I told my parents my grades, they didn't even focus on my passing grades. All they cared about was my U grade - the lowest grade any A-Level student can get. When they found out, they were furious. They accused me of not studying hard enough, but all I did throughout the year was study hard for all 4 subjects. They called me a failure and that I should be ashamed of myself. I have to retake the entire first year of Psychology because of it. They then grounded me for the rest of the summer holidays. They see me as a failure. Did I deserve to be grounded?
