Before I start let me say I love her beyond death. She's the reason i wake up in the morning. If it weren't for her & my faith in God I would've offed myself long ago but lately I've been having thoughts & I don't know how to treat them. We're getting married in May. I hate working a 9-5 job. I hate it so much, I just want to be a housewife. I know it goes against all that feminism fought for, but I just hate working. I never was too bothered by it and thought I was overreacting until last night when I noticed it and then when the phone was pointed back towards me, I saw him clear his history and website data. My x husband and I have been divorced since 2014...when our divorce was final it was agreed that I wouldn t go after half of his 401k if he took on all of our marital debt. I was so tired of the car that I have until I told my husband that I wanted a new one. He said that we couldn't afford car payments right now and given that my car was fixed he said that it's cheaper to put it in the shop every few months than to now scrape up a monthly car payment. I went out and started looking for a car and a used car lot offered me a 2003 Mazda Tribute. It's one year older than the car I had, a 2004 Kia. When we looked at it it had a lot of defects that my husband said I needed to walk away from but the car lot was giving me a good deal on it. I know the interior was messed up, a headrest was missing, windows wouldn't roll down, sunroof didn't hardly work, fog lights busted out, back glad not secure, and the car would hardly crank simply because of the security system on it (keys not programmed properly). My husband said to walk away but I really wanted to get rid of my current car. I went ahead and signed the paper work on it and that night I drove it home a repairman had to come to our house to see if he could get the keys to program. He couldn't. They took the car to the body shop the next day and I was without wheels all weekend because it had a big rust spot on it that I asked them to fix. Because of these issues, my husband told me to not ask him to wash it, not ask him to change the oil, not ask him to do any maintenance on it at all. He said I wouldn't listen to him to walk away so don't expect him to wanna help with it. Should I divorce him over this issue? I liked this car because I was tired of my current car. I asked for his opinion but he said that since I didn't take it don't ask him anything. This is how he justified it. "I never said I didn't want you to get another car, I just didn't want you to get that car!" Well, I wanted that car cause they gave me a good deal on it.
