Question: Best friend doesn't want me to snapchat? Posted: 16 Aug 2016 05:30 PM PDT Okay I know this is stupid, but my best friend (let's call her Sally) recently joined snapchat. She has one friend that she likes to snapchat. Now I'm not one to be into this kind of stuff. But I'm kind of worried because she hasn't asked me to make one of my own. She'll be going to college soon, and don't you think it would be easier to send a snap quickly to catch up? Sally is known to blow up over stupid stuff, but I can't think of anything I would have done. But she hasn't really been talking to me. She seems like she has so much fun on snapchat. I don't really want a snapchat, I just think it's kind of dumb (no offense), but I think if that's a way we can stay in contact.. Then why not. But I'm kind of hurt she doesn't seem like she wants me to have one. She's my best friend don't you think she would want me to? |

Question: How Do I Make Friends In A New State? Posted: 16 Aug 2016 05:17 PM PDT I moved to Arkansas and everyone and everything seems completely different from where I'm from. Question: Can pornstars friend someone on snapchat without them accepting? Posted: 16 Aug 2016 05:16 PM PDT Hey guys, I recently saw that my hubby was friends with multiple pornstars on snapchat. I confronted him about it and he said he didn't friend them, they must've added him as it's spam. Is this legit? Does this actually happen? Or is he lying? Thanks for your help. |

Question: Uncomfortable With My Male Friend Wearing Dresses Around Me? Posted: 16 Aug 2016 04:56 PM PDT I have a friend who is a man, but is considering becoming a girl. I fully believe that he/she has every right to be who they feel they are. I m just having some difficulty adjusting to this. I am trying to be very supportive of my friend. The only thing I have asked is that while I m trying adjust that he/she not wear their dresses around me until I am a bit more comfortable with it. He/she agreed, but now they keep sending me pictures of them in dresses, fully knowing that this makes me uncomfortable. I know that I cannot force myself to be comfortable with this before I am ready. I am still treating them the same way, it s just them wearing the dresses around me makes me immensely uncomfortable right now; but I am still treating my friend the same way I always have. Does me being so uncomfortable with this make me a bad person? |

Question: Should I quit high school football or stay? Posted: 16 Aug 2016 04:15 PM PDT im a beginning sophomore in high school and I've been playing football my whole life, but recently it's been getting boring with summer camp and weights, don't get me wrong I love doing that but it's just getting to the point where it's ruining my plans all the time, I can't hangout with my friends or do fun things over the summer due to football summer camp. yesterday I told my mom that I wanted to quit because I want to something business related in that field or just be able to do the things I couldn't do due to football and she said she's disappointed because I will regret not playing when I'm older looking back and all she's done for me and with being on the team board and helping out, she says she loves the business route but wants me to play out my high school years and enjoy them. my older brother and cousin have made a big reputation at the school and if I say I want to quit my coaches will say something like I'm a quitter or "your brothers wouldn't have done that". or just shocked. idk what to do at this point. any advice on what I should do? |

Question: How do I learn to be ok with being unique or not fitting in? Posted: 16 Aug 2016 04:10 PM PDT How do I learn to accept and value not being normal or fitting in? I do not fit in because I have a hard time making friends, and my family says I am unique but i don't treasure that. that dose not mean anything good to me. I want to be like everyone else because they all have friends so i am clearly doing something wrong. |
Question: Why would a guy assume it is exclusive on a dating site? Posted: 16 Aug 2016 04:05 PM PDT I was talking to a couple of guys, and promised a guy that we can meet up on a certain day. Well I've since changed my mind and let him know in advance that I'm not looking anymore. He replied with words such as "why did you tell me then?", "shows the kind of person you are", "many girls are just fakes", etc. I replied back simply that I'm sorry. |

Question: How to befriend upperclassmen? Posted: 16 Aug 2016 03:50 PM PDT I decided to take AP Biology my junior year of HS and I was initially looking forward to it. The class is mostly aimed at seniors, but some of my friends in my grade told me they d take the class as well. Fast forward to the first day of my junior year, and I am the only junior in a class of twenty seniors who have all been friends for a while. I don t know any of them, and they don t know me. I feel very awkward and am so scared to talk to any of them. But I don t want to be alone in the class. Any suggestions on how to befriend them? |
Question: Need songs about a friendship breaking up? Posted: 16 Aug 2016 03:23 PM PDT So, I'm one of those people who need songs to write. And I'm writing about these two characters who are best friends, but one switched school, but they still leave near each other and still talk, but they are slowly slipping out f their friendship. One girl, the main character, feels herself getting jealous of her friend cause she seems to have everything and she just started dating, and yada yada yada. So I was wondering if anyone had some songs about getting jealous of a friend, a friendship that's breaking up, etc. Stuff like that/ |
Question: Is my roommate/Friend emotionally dumping on me? Posted: 16 Aug 2016 03:23 PM PDT at New Years, My roommate/friend got her first "real" bf but there were problems between the two of them and their ways of life that just do NOT mesh well, (it had to do with religion & jobs & could actually put her degree at risk). Anyways, I told her she is an adult and can make her own choices but as a 22 year old, to please think about it and don't risk squandering 4 years ($14,000 a year) of university for some guy. She would not stop talking about him and would constantly ask for my advice and then never take it. literally every day I come home and she won't even ask how my day was but just go on about her work life and then her bf. Now she has broken up with him because of the reasons I mentioned and she has been so emotional ever since but I am just SO over it all! Again I am playing therapist more than ever before, I come home from my own long days at work and she just goes on about him and all her "problems". I just went on a big trip and she picked me up from the airport, I got in the car and immediately she was like "so (her ex) and I have been talking a lot", she didn't even ask me about my trip, I just got off a 9 hour flight.I'm sure if I didn't live with her I'd be mostly fine with it, but I have been staying at work until late hours at night just because I don't want to listen to he anymore... Am I terrible friend? or am I right in feeling the way I do? I just feel emotionally exhausted every time I'm around her now. I wish I could explain more. |
Posted: 16 Aug 2016 03:18 PM PDT Ok so yesterday I was on Facebook and a old friend of mine that I"ve known since I was 2 commented on another friends post. The post talked about how he wanted to raise money to donate to kids in need and have a back to school rally. He was wondering if any friends could help out and I volunteered to help raise money for the kids. Well the other friend who I've known since I was 2 and is an aspiring rapper commented on the post and said he'll do music. I commented back and told him to stop being selfish because I know how he is. He then said how else is he supposed to get exposure. I then said that's for you to figure out but this isn't about you, it's about helping out kids in need and all you care about is how you can get your name out there in the rap scene. Well he didn't like that and we exchanged a few words back and forth but not too serious. As long as I've known him he's always thought about himself first and no one else. So I didn't think I was wrong for telling him that he was selfish. But what do you guys think? |
Question: How can I be more social? Posted: 16 Aug 2016 03:12 PM PDT I m 17 and being anti-social is ruining my life. I hate watching people my age go out and have fun but I m stuck home. I m a fun person to be around and I m socially aware, but, the problem is I m really socially awkward because it takes me a while to fully open up to people. I also have an inferiority complex where I shut down in front of people older, prettier, or popular people. I don t know what I can do to overcome this. |
Question: Lost My Friends When I Got to High School need help? Posted: 16 Aug 2016 02:50 PM PDT Hey So today I started my first day of high school and I litterally lost all the friends I made in middle school my group of friends that I would talk to on a daily basis barely even talked to me. I dont have trouble making I am very talkative and was somewhat "popular" last year but today I just wondered my school by myself. Ive never been worried about making new friends but this year I am has anyone else experienced this ? Im kind of worried can you give me advice? thanks |
Question: Should you say "I love you" to your best friend? Posted: 16 Aug 2016 02:40 PM PDT Some info... I'm a guy and my best friend is a girl. We're both 21. We became friends quickly and after a short time became each other's best friend. A while after that, I started telling them (pretty regularly) that I loved them. I've always been conflicted over doing this, since it seems somewhat inappropriate since we aren't dating (we both have established that we don't have romantic feelings for each other, and I don't). To make things a bit more complicated, she recently got back together with her ex-boyfriend, and now I'm really unsure if it's okay to say things brazenly like that especially when she has a boyfriend. She's super important to me and I really don't want to lose her. Anyone have any thoughts? |
Question: Is this a question of attention or why is he acting like this? Posted: 16 Aug 2016 02:27 PM PDT I have a colleague who's really nice and is always helping me with stuff. I've noticed though that every time a certifierad other guy is in our meetings he changes and today he started acting out to me which he's never done before. Both times this has happened this other guy was in the meetings (which he rarely is) and I was giving him a bit of attention (only normal amounts) and the nice guy annoyed with me, which he never is usually. Is this about attention you think? Could that really be it for acting that way? |
Posted: 16 Aug 2016 02:23 PM PDT I had met a friend on a game, she was from the same country as me. We got along really well but then one day she suddenly disappeared. Me and her other friend thought she took a break and kept send her messages but she never answered. It s been like 3 years and we re worried. All I know is her city her first name and her skype name. Any idea on how we could find her? Please we re really worried. |

Posted: 16 Aug 2016 02:13 PM PDT So, I'm a 16 her old boy. When I was in 6th grade, I was bullied by this guy named John. John was big and strong and athletic, so obviously, he was popular. I was a sheltered, quite kid, so I was an ideal target. He kept on beating me up and calling me names, and eventually, I tried to commit sucide. I survived (obviously.) Then, John beat me up again, really hard. He got suspended, but that wasn't enough for me. So, I waited for summer. (This was at the end of 8th grade.) My goal was that by the time high school rolled around, I would be dating Ana, the most popular girl in my school. That way,i would become more popular. I started my project by cutting my hair and getting new clothes. Then, I "caught" a "theif who stole her bag" (I got the guy to do it for me.) Meanwhile, I also started getting boxing lessons. When school rolled around, I was dating Ana. I got into a fight with John, and this time, I beat him up. I decided that I had to make his life as miserable as mine was, so I started bullying him constantly. He bullied me about personal stuff(parents divorced) so I returned the favor. (He is poor.) I teased him constantly about his clothes, and I had my parents buy me the car he wanted just to spite him. I know what you are going to say: you're sinking to his level. I know that. And I like it. See, a clean conscience is a sign of bad memory. If he kills himself, that's karma. So why does everyone call me a jerk? |
Question: My daughters new "friend?"? Posted: 16 Aug 2016 01:49 PM PDT Si, in the father of a 15 year old daughter. Until this year,i have homeschooled her. At her urging, I put her in 10th grade this year. I was hoping that she would make some friends. Anyway, today, she came home early, in a car! Not just any car, a Dodge Challenger Hellcat! I wanted that car, but it was 60k, so I didn't buy it. Anyway, the guy driving it looked a bit older than my daughter, and tall. He had gelled up hair and glasses. He was wearing a denim vest, tee shirt, skinny jeans and Jordans. When you add all of that up, you can see why I freaked out. I ran outside and yelled at the kid to get away. He was polite about the whole thing, at least. Anyway, my daughter claims that guy was from her school, and his name was "John Smith". (Fake name). I called the school, and apparently, there was a student named that. That made me more suspicious, because what teen has a 60k car? Im starting to think that he's a drug dealer. I banned my daughter from seeing him again, but she says I'm overreacting. Am I? |
Question: My Parents don't have any close friends? Posted: 16 Aug 2016 01:35 PM PDT Okay so, My parents do have friends, we are part of a club for our culture and my Dad is actually the president this year. But lately I've realized that all my parents friends hang out together, have party's, and go trips, together and my parents are never invited. I know my parents feel bad about it. How can I get them to maybe hang out more? Does anyone have a similar situation? |
Question: What happened to my friends? Posted: 16 Aug 2016 01:32 PM PDT I'm in my early 40s, not married and no kids. Growing up I had a lot for friends but, lately it seems no one wants to hang out or even keep in touch with me. I am always the person to text first. If I didn't text first I truly believe my phone would be silent for days. A friend that I grew up with came into town recently and I reached out to him that I would like to get together and catch up. We have not seen each other in close to 10 years. He said that it sounded good to meet up. He's been in town for three days and I haven't heard from him. I'm about to give up on everyone and stop reaching out like they have done to me. |
Question: Should I ask my best friend to team up with me to throw a pie in my guy friend's face? Posted: 16 Aug 2016 01:28 PM PDT We both know him but I'm closer to him. Anyways last month I invited him to get together with me and my best friend we all had a great time. He exposed is personality though as a huge goofball. He jumped over a pole. He also said he never wants to grow up and is always gonna be a kid. Anyways he is such a clown I thought it would be funny to pie him in the face! I need ideas though on what kind of pie to shove in his face and how to do it. I was thinking I could have my friend distract him while I sneak up behind him and splat the pie in his face. It's also a bonus and more funny because he has a beard so the custard or whipped cream will be stuck to his face ๐ |
Posted: 16 Aug 2016 01:08 PM PDT I got on the bus to leave tonight an as soon as we started to pull out I felt a big fart comin on but when I went to rick it I realize it was diarea! I screamed at the bus driver to pull ovar cause I knew I was gonna crap my pants an it was all I could do to hold it in. But he said he could not pull ovar an was not aloud to let me off any where except my stop! OMG it was allfull, a little fart came out an then it was like my butt exploded, I crapped like a god damn dog. Horrable, smelly diarea, every one was mad an I was tryin to tell them that I couldn't help it but they was yellin at me an stuff. I am so embareassed I am just mortafied. I wish I was dead. I am 17, still a sophmore an have nevar had a worst year in my entire school history. |
Question: Why is my friend getting so mad? Posted: 16 Aug 2016 12:58 PM PDT My friend says that she is bigender or something like this. I am totally fine with her being this and respect her completely, but she has been very annoying lately. I was talking about Meredith Grey (a character from my favorite TV show) and my friend said in the middle of when I was talking, "Why are you assuming they identify as a girl? You should use they/them pronouns until you're sure." That kinda annoyed me. I was just talking about a tv show and she had to say this? Next I was just talking about a girl in my school who was being rude, and my friend was glaring at me for like half an hour, so I asked what was up. She then said "that poor person. You just completely assumed their gender without asking them first about their pronouns. You should be ashamed of yourself." At this point I was just done and went to bed. Then a week later from this incident I was talking about my favorite Pokemon (a Jynx) and this Pokemon has long hair a dress and makeup. My friend got SO MAD when I called the Pokemon a "she" instead of "them". I am so done dealing with this. It's so annoying. I get it that she identifies a certain way and I respect that, but why does she have to constantly nag about this?! |
Question: Is she like in love with me? Posted: 16 Aug 2016 12:39 PM PDT Im a girl and I have this friend. She's nice and calls me beautiful. Once in awhile she asks me to send a pic through. We don't hangout often because I'm busy with work. Every morning at 6amy i wake up to a good morning. Texts throughout the day are sent to me about how I'm doing even though I told her in the morning . When I answer her text I sayou good morning have a wonderful day too . She then starts to rengage in more conversation about what she's doing etc even though I closedon't the conversation. It's gotten so annoying I have told her before . She's now repeating the same behavior and gets slightly offended when I do not answer her texts on time. She's acting like we are dating? I never gave her that idea. She is a working mom and sother am I. I don't want to lose her as a friend. I delay texts in order to get my space because she's taking it too far. Now I see what men go through :( |
Question: * GIRLS * should we have a "threesome"? Posted: 16 Aug 2016 12:33 PM PDT I generally have a very nice relationship with my girlfriend, and could never imagine leaving her. She says I'm the "sweetest guy ever", and feels the same. But there are major issues related to our sex life. Since I was young I've had a hormonal disorder, which makes sex very challenging between us. My penis is abnormally small (never reaches 3 inches) and I have issues performing as well. Just even having regular sex is very difficult. I understand that this is frustrating for her, and I want so much to please her. We've done everything possible like oral and toys and stuff, but I know that she still craves something more. I know that she wants to stay with me, but fantasizes about sex with a bigger guy (she has admitted this, and I know she would want a threesome with a bigger guy and really appreciate that I would do that for her). Normally this would not be the best option, but my condition is very abnormal. And I just want to please her so much. Otherwise I'm afraid her cravings might lead to something worse, and I can't imagine not being with her. So, please be honest: 1. Honestly, how would most girls feel in her position? 2. Why can't I fully please her with oral, toys, etc? 3. Do you think we should have a threesome? (and why)? 4. How exactly do you think a threesome would go, if we did have one? Honestly? ? |
Question: Question for males?? would you date a girl that you thought was a 6 from 1-10? Question: Why do girls always smile to my friends, and ignore me? Posted: 16 Aug 2016 12:21 PM PDT Im a a guy, 24 years old, going to college. In my sparetime I do sports, relax and tryes to be social. People says im kind, polite, good looking and a little shy. I have 2 friends (guys). I live in a city with 40.000 people. Everytime I walk togheter with a friend in the street, shopcenter or similar, especially girls smile towards them, sometimes says hi , and ignore me. Even thou they dont know them really. I feel like they do this to humble me. My friends aren´t especially good looking or social intelligent, but more of a douchbag and childish kind. I dont say i´m perfect, but its still kind of weird that this is happening. It never happens in other citys when I walk with friends. I have a history with being mocked since I was a kid in school, and I feel like they still do this in my city sometimes. I feel kind of freezed out. I have lived in this city since I was born. Like I sayd, outside of this city, at other places, I never experience this. Why do this keep happening? how should I react? I haven´t done anything bad or criminal to deserve humilation. My friends are both stingy , childish , sour and different. But they never gets humiliated or ignored for that reason. They might almost seem a little psychopathic , since they are so good at hiding their real personality in public space. But can be really fake and shitty to hang with. When they get close they have a tendency to to play on the weaknesses of people to feel better. |
Question: How to go about bullying from a co-worker connected to higher power people? Posted: 16 Aug 2016 12:01 PM PDT I work in a workplace where many people get hired just because they know someone powerful. I am being bullied by a co worker and I don't know what to do. It is to the point where I want to quit my job because of the numerous times she has publicly embarrassed me. I have had to go outside to cool down, I have called my daughter while on my lunch break and cried because I have been so upset, and because I want to defend myself so badly however I cannot lose my job.I have 2 kids to provide for. I want to let someone know how I am being treated at work. I am trained well, i love my job, i love the people i work with, I do my job well, I show up to work on time, and it is not fair that I feel my only way out of this bullying is to leave. I want to tell someone, I want to have help with the situation however I fear that with how well connected these people are to people of higher power , if i say something it will get back to her and she will either come back stronger or something will happen to me instead. How can I go about this safely? |
Question: How can I be loved? I feel like nobody loves me?!? Posted: 16 Aug 2016 11:58 AM PDT It seems a stupid question,of of those things like love yourself first and then others will love you,but truth is I've seen guys who hated themselves being loved by girls,by friends. Long story short: I'm 31. In 2005,on the day of my 20th birthday I joined USMC. I got out of the Corps in 2010 and I started college, now I work at the library,I like the job,I try to be polite to others and I really find out that people are really nice to me just because I served our country.Since being a (retired) Marine is not the first thing I tell people when I meet them, they're usually hostile towards me or just they don't care about me,then if they find out I served they're like "oh wow thank you for your service man". I never bring that up but it's hard cause I got a got a few scars on my face,no big deal but people notice those things. Anyway the point IS: I try to be polite,I try to treat others how I'd like to be treated,I ask coworkers to go out but seems like nobody has time, they say "oh sure Jim I'll call you and we'll go out", they never do,since I don't like being always the one who calls I just let it go,and I'm always alone. So that's my life, how can I be one of those guys who is just loved? I try to be like those guys,I try to smile but it doesn't work. |
Question: How to stop letting people have so much control over my emotions? Posted: 16 Aug 2016 11:48 AM PDT It is so much easier said than done. I had some friends that ended up secretly talking about me behind my back and just turning on me because they felt like I didn't fit in with their circle anymore, and they just dumped me to the side, when I really did love them a lot. Now that they are cut out my life, I have removed and them off of every social media and I have avoided all contact with them. I have even tried to make new friends. However there is still some accidental run ins, for example...I got a twitter notification that one of them liked a tweet from a mutual friend, and my curiosity allowed me to check their page, and to see that person is living life happily and carefree when they treated me like a dog and put me through hell... It made me physically sick. How do I stop being so pathetic and stop allowing them to hurt me or for it to remind me of things when I see them? |
Question: This sounds like I'm in love doesn't it? Posted: 16 Aug 2016 11:39 AM PDT I love when she's near me. I love to feel her skin against mine when we cuddle. I get butterflies whenever I know I'm going to see her. I constantly smile at her texts and I re read them over and over. I do the same when we take pictures together. After we get off of Skype or the phone, I constantly go over our conversations in my head. I buy her random gifts and send her sweet texts or videos just to make her smile. Whenever she's sad I go out of my way to make her happy again. When we hold hands I feel calm, and comfortable. Whenever we're together I feel like all of my problems are at least manageable. Whenever she leaves my house I run to the window just to see her go, and then I cry. Sometimes I try not to, but I cry because I miss her and we only see each other every once in a while. I can't get her off my mind. I think about her before I go to sleep and when I wake up. When she spends the night and leaves the next day I leave the pillows that she slept on right where they are just so I can remember that she was there. I love to hear her talk, I can listen for hours. I love the way her hair smells, I love the way she gets passionate about things. I love to see her happy. I love when she leans her head against my shoulder. I love to make her laugh.. etc. I've felt like this for 3 years and each year my feelings get stronger. We're best friends both ladies. |
Posted: 16 Aug 2016 11:16 AM PDT I have a friend who always says if I ever need someone to talk to, I can go to him. However, the couple of times that I have, he gets a little irritated and says, "Why would you tell me that?" Then after he says that, he tells me he thought the same thing, but refused to elaborate when I asked what it was that caused him to think that. Obviously, I won't be going to him to anymore. But why would a person even offer a friendly ear if they don't really care or want to hear about it? |
Question: Am I a jerk to my friend? Her statements are funny...? Posted: 16 Aug 2016 10:26 AM PDT My friend isn't that bright. It's no secret but I love her. She says a lot of crazy things. For example; I told her I want to move to England & she said "omg you're crazy I could never move to a country where they don't speak English" or once she said "the New England Patriots should play football in their country...Canada" ๐๐๐ I tell people these stories and she gets mad & tells me she's never been good at SCIENCE so don't judge her lol. I don't try to hurt her feelings I just think it's funny. I dont think she's stupid. It's just unbelievable how she never paid attention in school lol. She texted/did her makeup all 4 years of H.S. Lol. Should I ease up on her and stop telling people the funny things she says? |
Question: Do you think this is outrageous as I do? Posted: 16 Aug 2016 10:17 AM PDT My neighbor's daughter Ann and my daughter have a high school class together. They set side by side in the class. Last week a boy set in front of Ann and he took his back pack off and laid it on the floor in front of Ann. The flap on the back pack flew open and Ann say a gun in the back pack. She immediately took her cell phone and called 911. Then she grabbed the back pack and ran out of the classroom with it. She held on to the back pack until the police arrived in a short time and then she gave it to them. As you can imagine this was a MAJOR interruption at the school. I think Ann was a hero for what she did. She possibly save MANY LIVES. However the school wants to punish Ann because they say they have a zero tolerance if you break the rules. The school claims Ann broke 3 rules. She used her cell phone in class, she left the classroom without permission and she stole the boys back pack. I think this is OUTRAGEOUS. Do you agree with me? Please give me your views on what us parents should to honor Ann, not punish her. |
Question: I am a 15 year old girl who want to go out but has no friends, what do i do? Posted: 16 Aug 2016 10:08 AM PDT So i am a 15 year old girl from south London. Every school holiday i feel lonely because everyone is going out and I just stay home bored. I've been trying to make more friends for the longest time but I have made no progress. Well i do have some friends but they never want to go anywhere. I just want to meet new people and have fun with them. You know like go shopping, parties, carnival, the beach.... I'm the one that's always setting up days out, no one else ever makes an effort. So anyway my question to you is how can i make friends my age? Are there any websites that a person my age can use? |
Question: Should I tell my boyfriend this or lie to him? Posted: 16 Aug 2016 10:07 AM PDT I lost my job & home and have nowhere to go. My boyfriend is overseas. I have some money but not enough to live until I get back on my feet. I am divorced, my ex and I hate each other but we have children together, he has offered for us to stay with him until I get on my feet and get a new place. My boyfriend knows we can't stand each other...nothing would ever happen and my ex works non stop and spends a lot of time with his girlfriend. Should I tell my boyfriend about this or lie? My family thinks I should lie but I feel sick about being dishonest. Also, my boyfriend is not in a position to help me financially nor would I feel comfortable doing that anyways. |
Question: Birthday party invitations and siblings? Posted: 16 Aug 2016 09:55 AM PDT My girl will be turning 7 soon and wants to have the party at our small house. We have a yard, but it's too hot to be outside much (100 degrees or more). She wants to invite 10 girls, which would be a squeeze. Most of her friends know each other, so I don't see how she could invite some but not others without someone finding out and being hurt. But all of her friends have siblings, including several older brothers who tend to pick on her when they're around. She's including the girl siblings who are close in age, but I'm in a bind about how to handle the others. If we include all the siblings, it would bring the head count to 20, not including parents, and there just isn't room for that many people. . Help, please? Looking for a polite, kind, reasonable, doable solution or way to handle this. Of course I don't want the siblings who pick on her there! What I'm asking is for a tactful way to handle it with the parents. It's not usually an issue because the friends are from a mutual activity where the siblings aren't normally around. Adding, how do you word the invitation tactfully to make sure the parents don't bring the siblings along? Or do you just not invite the girls who have the siblings you don't want around? I like the moms and don't want to hurt them or be rude, but A) OF COURSE I want to protect my child B) the others (even the ones who aren't a problem) just won't fit in our house. |
Question: I killed a lizard, thought it was cool but now i feel super guilty? Posted: 16 Aug 2016 09:49 AM PDT I made a post on this five minutes ago and someone made me realize how bad it is to kill harmless animals and im sorry its just that all my friends do it and i thought it was cool, please forgive me |
Question: My mom won't give my friends rides? Posted: 16 Aug 2016 09:48 AM PDT My mom hates giving my friends rides. I'm not old enough to drive yet, and either are my friends. When my friends have situations where their parents cannot give them rides, they sometimes ask me for a ride since they are on the way there. However, my mom will not give them a ride. Once, my friend was at a hotel, and since her dad had their car, she had no ride. Her hotel was 7 minutes away from our destination. My friend is a very nice person, which I kept on telling my mom, but she started to pre-judge her saying that she's probably spoiled, and fat and stuff like that.. She was even reluctant to drive to the drop off to pick her up. After meeting her, she said that she is a nice person. Recently, I had planned to hang out with my friend who lives literally 3 minutes from my house. My friend was asking to carpool in my moms car, and she told me that her dad could pick us up. My mom already hates her cause she asks for rides. She hasn't met her parents yet. At first I told my friend no, but she said it makes more sense to carpool together since we live close. My mom and I got in a argument, and the plans were cancelled. It's too awkward to face my friend again, do you guys think it's my fault? Or my moms? Friend? |
Question: Why do I not have any friends? Posted: 16 Aug 2016 09:41 AM PDT I am in high school and I fear that I have started to beecome depressed. In the beginning of high school, I had friends. Friends who wanted to talk to me and hang out with me. Now, I feel like I am all by myself. No one wants to sit next to me in class and I always start crying when I get home from school. I just can t hold it in. I have no one to talk to about this and I fear that it will get worse. |
Question: Should I get an xbox 360 or xbox one? What's the difference? Posted: 16 Aug 2016 09:28 AM PDT I love call of duty and my dad got a used xbox 360 but for some reason it won't let you get xbox live so I can't use his. My brother also has a used xbox 360 but he's moving out next week and taking it with him so I won't be able to use his. So I decided I'm going to save up for a new one but I know nothing about them so can anyone kind of tell me which is better and why? |
Question: I hate my friends husband!!!? Posted: 16 Aug 2016 09:17 AM PDT So over the weekend my friend (she is married with 3 kids) had a party for her 8 year old daughter. I didn't show up because other times she has had parties at her house, she would have me help her with food and cleaning. I don't have kids so I don't have fun at children's parties (no offense). Last year I wasn't able to attend one of her kids parties because I was in Canada and it was the day I was coming back. She felt I should have still came over to the party. Her husband is a fool! He is always telling people that I am not a real women because I don't have kids! Whatever? So since I didn't attend her daughters party over the weekend she's upset. This morning her husband see's me on the train and starts to scream at me saying "I'm boring" "I should've came to the party". He was screaming at me so loud that a police officer had to say something to him. I didn't press charges but made it clear that I would next time. She calls telling no to disrespect her husband. She goes on to say when I get a husband of my own I'll understand. Really?? I told her FU and F yours kids and hung up on her. She is ridiculous!! I needed to vent! |

Question: I really need advice. Am I overthinking? Posted: 16 Aug 2016 09:08 AM PDT Here's the thing. I am 13 and a girl and i started speaking to a girl and i like her and she likes me (as friends of course) and we will meet up and stuff so we'll get to know each other better. But this girl has already got 5 close friends. I have too of course but she is in like a squad with 3 girls that she is very very close too. I know the girls and they are my friends some of them. But i am just afraid that i will never get to become that close to her as they are. What should i do? (btw sorry if it's long) |
Question: I'm a model about to do an "implied nude" photoshoot. What does that mean? Posted: 16 Aug 2016 09:04 AM PDT I am 20 and a professional model and graduate student. I've been hired by a reputable photographer to do an "implied nude" photoshoot. It's in the contract that any shots showing actual nudity can not be used, but the photog makes it sound like I will have to be nude on set. I've never really heard the term "implied nude" used much. I know this IS a legit photog/shoot, but I'm still confused and scared because I've never shot less than swimsuit, and I don't want to sound too naive by asking. What can I expect on set? Will I have to actually get full nude? What precisely does implied nude mean? How will I be treated on set? Sorry for all of the questions. Just new territory for me. And I can't really ask the photog because I think he think's I have more experience than I have. Also, what do I wear to a shoot like this? And down below, do I trim, shave, or leave it alone? I've never even really had a serious boyfriend, and professionally the most undressed I've done is swimsuit, so this is just kind of new for me (and nervewracking) Dan----I took your advice and texted him, and he replied "no need to shave, but trimmed would be nice because it will give us more options for shots" Dan----by see through clothes do you mean it could be clothes that pretty clearly show my nipples so long as, technically, i have clothes on over my breasts?!? |

Question: I miss my friend but she won't talk to me. How do I get her attention again? Posted: 16 Aug 2016 08:50 AM PDT She was my closest friend. We actually talked about starting a relationship but she just has too much emotional baggage for me. We were like brother and sister. We helped each other through everything. One day she told me she wanted to sleep with me and it sparked an argument. I wanted a commitment first and she said she wasn't emotionally ready yet. We talked about it and she told me she really wanted "if nothing else to stay friends". 2 days later she is in a relationship. She hasnt talked to me since. I worry about her and miss her as a friend. She is bisexual anyway so I don't see an issue with us being friends still. How do I tell her I miss her? |

Question: What's the story with my dad and stepmom? Posted: 16 Aug 2016 08:39 AM PDT I'm a 15 y.o. girl. I recently, at my request, moved to Mississippi to live with my dad and stepmom because my biological mom has drug problems and has been a very inconsistent mom (to say the least). I love her, but my dad and stepmom have always been there for me. and I needed stability. Before I made the decision to move here, my dad and stepmom warned me that they still believed in spanking as a last resort even at my age. I was kind of shocked, but really wanted to move in here, and (since I rarely get in any trouble) wasn't all that concerned. This morning I got in big trouble for something that I, in all fairness, deserved to be in trouble for. But I was still flabbergasted when dad had my stepmom take me out back and bust my behind. She didn't leave any bruises or "hurt" me or anything like that, but she did light me up something good and the pain was/is very intense. I'm just kind of shocked. I know that they love me, I'm NOT looking to turn them in or get them in any trouble (regardless of the answer to this question), but this is so far from my cultural norms that I have to ask, are they even legally allowed to do this? Is it fair at all? I just never really saw this happening at my age, and it all went down so suddenly.... Is this legal? Common? Fair? Typical? I lied about where I was going, and yes it is a 2nd offense (I got grounded the 1st time), and lying is their #1 rule (understandably). I'm usually very honest but I was really stupid this time. The lie was about where Id been. I said I went to a friends house but I really went to a different friend's house to swim alone. I had permission (from the friend) to use the pool, but I knew my stepmom wouldn't let me swim alone and couldn't go with me today, so I went by myself and made up a cover |
