Posted: 19 Aug 2016 08:20 PM PDT my boyfriend & i are both in our early 20s. he is really popular & has loads of friends. his phone goes off all the time, with texts, calls, social media notifications. me on the other hand, i only consider myself to have one really good friend and/or none at all. i m pretty much a loner most of the time though t(hrough choice). but somehow, i am still very jealous of him. he spends soooo much time with his friends while i go to school & go home everyday & do the same thing. he stays out late til 3-4 in the morning mostly every single day. sometimes, he ll even goes on spontaneous trips w/ his friends & will end up telling me that he won t be back til 2 days later. if i were to give him an ultimatum to choose between me or his friends, he d probably break up w/ me & definitely choose them. i want him to spend more time at home or alone or be with me. is this the kind of person i should be in a relationship with? sometimes, i wonder if i should just find myself an introvert, loner, like myself to date. that way, we can understand other & spend alot of time together. however, when i DO get to spend time w/ my bf, i realized that i really love him as a person & don t want to let him go. i just want him to change his lifestyle a bit. what should i do? any advice is appreciated. |

Yesterday he saw his friend, originally they were going to go to a bar like old times, but I told him please don't because I don't feel that's respectful. He said him and his friend ended up hanging out at his friends house playing video games instead. He promised he would text me but only sent me one text last night right before he saw him, then texted me good morning today. That seemed shady. I've told him to help build my trust and be better at communication and he said he understood and was sorry. Today he was scheduled for work from 11am-4pm. We had planned to see each other after work (I get off at 6) and no text/call from him. Finally an hour later he told me 4 people called out sick and he had to stay till 9:30. I'm having a hard time believing him and trusting him but I have no proof to tell him that he's for sure lying. And I want to stay with him but he's hurting me with his inconsideration. Always been difficult at making friends, even in school. I've definetly have become more talkative since leaving highschool. I believe Im shy only when it comes to starting a conversation with strangers, but I'm really not afraid to talk to someone that approaches me first. I also find it easy to talk to people that are forcefully put in my way, like new coworkers. I'm becoming a bit depressed and outright bored with my life and so I've thought of just going to a bar and sitting there and see if i meet someone new. I dont drink, so i would basically just sit there, scared to hell to approach someone (trust me, it's almost impossible to overcome it, today i let a pretty girl that was starring at me in the train forever out of my reach because i was paralyzed with fear of possibly approaching her) do you think this would be a good idea? |
| Question: Middle School Relationship? Posted: 19 Aug 2016 07:31 PM PDT Ok, so I am in 8th grade, which is the last grade for middle school. I just started school, and got all my classes assigned. In one of my classes, it is mixed with 7th and 8th Graders. In that class, we were picking groups to work on a assignment. My group was talking to each other, and doing the assignment. Then the group right next to us were all 7th Grade girls. They started talking to me and my group. Then one of them said I was cute. I took it as a compliment, and said thanks. The next day, she said to me, "Did you know know that I like you". What should I be saying to her? We have not talked before, just a bit when we were doing the assignment. Advice? Note: I do like her, but I do not want to tell her straightforward yet. |
