I can never quite read her. She seems sad often. When she smiles it's the best thing in the world, but as I said, she often seems sad, untrusting, and distant. Although, she can be disgustingly charismatic when she needs to be, though. My friend (male) used to date her. This was sophomore year. They dated for a long time. My friend told me to, "Be careful with her." I asked what he meant, he didn't want to respond. Eventually, he spat it out. All he said was, "People have sexually abused her a lot. Don't hurt her." I feel uncomfortable knowing this about her, but it's also making me incredibly sad. What should I do with this information? I'm also annoyed that he told me. |

I'm talking the best date I've ever been on. We actually seemed to connect in so many ways, but at the end of the night when I started to approach her for the kiss she shut me down, saying it was too early and we just met one day ago. A few minutes after this, she asked me to go to homecoming with her. I was a bit sad about the kiss, but she agreed to hang out and talk more. Fast forward two days, and we hang out again. This time when we hang out, she tells me we should just be friends. I was pretty disappointed and said that that'd be tough for me, but I kept talking to her about it, and this is where things get super confusing for me. First of all, I asked her if she wanted to be friends because she wasn't attracted to me in that sort of way. She said that she IS attracted to me, and that it was a totally different reason. She said that all her past relationships have culminated with the guy cheating on her and breaking her heart, so she doesn't want to have to deal with that again. Pretty much she is super anti relationship. Then i asked her if she had feelings for me, and she said that she hasn't had feeling for anyone in a long time, and it's too early to tell, but she definitely could have feelings for me. Her friends then started helping her give me a hard time by asking why I was being mean. My new coworker was looking like she was really mad and when I tried to say hi to her, she would ignore me. I started to apologize and ask if I could treat her to lunch and she ignored me again. I brought her a sandwich and when I tried giving it to her, she giggled and said she was never mad at me and that she was only giving me a hard time. He is a single dad of two kids (that I haven't met) and seems to be a very good dad. I have never dated anyone with kids before, so I'm not quite sure how it works. There's something about him that I'm very interested in and I've really enjoyed the time I've spent with him...but he doesn't seem to have a lot of time free to get together. I'm sure the kids keep him pretty busy and he has them almost all the time but I'm just not sure if that's the reason or if he just not that interested in me. I don't expect to come before his kids, but would like to be a priority. We have seen each other 5 times, kind of spaced out, but he texts me regularly and calls occasionally (not very often though, mainly to make plans not to chat). from a single dating dads perspective, what should I k ow about these sorts of relationships? Will it be a struggle like this until it gets to the point of meeting his kids? How soon might one normally meet the kids? Should I broach the subject or wait for him to? I'm struggling to find the balance as a single girl that is very interested in this guy, who has a very busy life. He works in a factory where it's typically 12 hour shifts 6 days a week. He used to text me and call but lately he hasn't. Now it's gotten to where I only receive one or two texts each day and maybe on the weekends he would texts all day or call. Last week he texted me after work all evening t 12 on wednesday to Friday. I didn't hear from him Saturday or Sunday. Sunday he was off which is his only day off. Sometimes he doesn't text on Sunday's and some days he dies.When I do get to see him which is more like once every two weeks he is very tired and would end up sleeping at 7. When I tell him I think I should just go home. He would shake his head no and cuddle up to me and hold me to not let go. When I saw last time he just kept staring at me. It's been hard not seeing him and almost feels like I'm not in a relationship. I don't know if I'm being treated badly or it's just cause of his job that's in the way. He wasn't like this before this job. He used to have a lot more free time. |

Posted: 23 Aug 2016 07:20 PM PDT When I first met him he wasn't really working, he picked up jobs here and there but they weren't steady. The first few months of our relationship we did little things our first date, we didn't call it a date but I guess that's what it was, we went to Chickfila ate in his truck talked and then went and looked at fish in a pet store. He did pay and I thought it was fun the simple things and just being with him are what I liked. Our dates never really went into more than getting fast food and just being with each other and I didn't mind at all. Some nights we'd rent movies and cuddle up on the couch. We used to park his truck at the end of my road and I'd sneak out and we'd just sit in the back and talk I loved nights like that. Now that he's gotten a better job that's an actual job and it pays pretty well all he talked about was how he couldn't wait to take me out somewhere special on a "real date" when he got his first pay check and it was cute at first he wanted to give me a chance to dress up and he took me somewhere really nice but now that's all he wants to do. It's to the point I feel bad letting him spend so much money on me when honestly I'd be happy just sitting on the couch at home eating frozen pizza as long as he was with me. He just gets so excited when he tells me we're going somewhere and I don't want him to think I don't appreciate it but I miss just simply being with him. Why is he so stuck on going out all the time? Just to clarify he's 19. Also, we live in a small town us never going out much before was because I'm in high school and he was at the time we started dating and we live in a very small town so to be able to do anything more than what we did you would have to drive at least an hour maybe 2 for anything else. |

Well, basically, my friend got mad at me and stopped being my friend. However, recently I posted stuff on snapchat like how I m so glad I m single and my ex friend took a bunch of screenshots. I confronted her once about it and all she said was "I am aware that you get notified when someone takes screenshots of your story." Well about two days later she took screenshots of my story again. I told her to please stop taking taking screenshots of my story because it was creepy and annoying, and she said ok. We are starting school in a week and I haven t talked to her in person for the whole summer. What do I say to her when school starts? Should I confront her about how she left me for such a shallow reason? And about the snapchat incident? If it helps, we re both 14 year old girls and becoming freshmen in high school in America. What would you do? If it helps, another friend ditched me for the same incident. So basically it's three people who are mad at me and turned on me for breaking up with this person. |

| Posted: 23 Aug 2016 07:12 PM PDT He makes me feel guilted into when Ineed time away to do my homework which is really annoying me. I need a few days out of the week to stay on top of my university demands. That's just how it is but he's sort of bullied me into seeing him everyday or he gets needy and starts acting like he feels neglected. I think there is something wrong in his life to need so much validation from me. We love each other and are passionately in love, but I am aware I need to achieve things that i'm creating for myself and not wanting to lose friendships because of having this person that wants to see you all the time. There's no time to miss each other either, and he complains if we have 1 day apart. When we're together i love it, it's special and romantic but i am always letting things slip and not getting things done that i need to do to feel ok about where i am right now...in life or at home, cleaning etc. Seems to make me feel stressed or suffocated even though he makes me so happy? very confusing. |

He changed my way of dressing. He doesnt want to do what i like to do. He doesnt want to take me dancing and i love dancing. Its like im a constant burden to him. Im not happy theres no way to say it. Hes made me some boring person i wouldnt wven want to be around all i do is think of the jealous fits. I had to let sooo many friends go mainly male bc of him. I cant go out without him or its the wnd of the world. I went to a wedding and granted we were low on $$$ and i wanted to go soo bad i love this girl. My mother offered to pay as long as she and my younger siblings could come along. After the wedding she asked if we could go to the beach as it was just 3 hrs away she paid food, hotel, gas i spent $2.0 this whole teip when i came back a day and a half later he made me feel miserable for going. I wanted nothing more than to run away. He makes me cry alot actually. Hes killed sooo many dreams. But its not all bad. Theres some good but the good doesnt outweigh the bad. When i think of something he doesnt agree with. He assumes someone put it in my head. I work 3pm-11pm usually he works around the same. I pick him up i drop him off and he says i have more time to cheat! I work 6 days a week! He works 5!!! Idk what to do anymore we both get out late i get home just to cook he doesnt ever help unless i ask! |

We are closer than anyone in either of our lives aside from our parents. I am only away from her until late Friday (it is Tuesday). I know this sounds absolutely ridiculous, but I find myself having to breathe deep because I need to be with her. I know this is unhealthy how much I miss her and that I will have to learn to get used to it because I can only see her on weekends and only text after 6pm on weekday because of school. I want to be able to control it but before I can I will have to get some answers on how. Thanks |

And there are times when I either see him a lot or that I don't see him much. Usually if he hasn't seen me for a while, he'll be like "Omg I haven't seen you all day" blah blah blah. But today was different since him and I haven't seen each other all day today except when the museum was closing. As I was leaving, I bumped into him and he told me "Omg I haven't seen you all day. I didn't even know you were working today. I didn't even get the chance to say hi so... hi." I thought it was super cute and sweet, and it's not really something that he's done before. Is this something that some friendly guys do? |

I sort of feel bad for going out with her knowing I was moving shortly after so I figured sending her flowers would either show I was genuinely interested in her or have bad repercussions |

He has a short temper. We always get into arguments that end up not getting solved. Literally his favorite thing to do is to be little me. we can never have a conversation where he isn't yelling at me.Pretty much through out my pregnancy I've been doing this alone but he did go to the appointments with me. He yells like its no tomorrow knowing that its going to make me cry. Today when he got home from work we started to argue about money. I went into my savings to buy stuff from the store. He's told me that if i need anything that to tell him and he will get it for me or he will give me his debit card. I don't like using his money. I'm so used to having my own money and not depend on someone else.I don't work so he buys everything and I hate that. I have depression and I know that after my son is born I will have really bad post pardon depression and he won't understand. He makes me cry all the time. We don't tell each other I love you, he doesn't really hug or kiss me. He doesn't trust me cause of what happen in the past. I never cheated on him, never. I may have a flirty personality but I never cheated on him. His ex wife cheated on him and that messed him up good. I just don't know what to do anymore or how to talk to him about the problems we have and have a solution for it. |

We had a 10 month long relationship and we were friends for about a year before we started dating. We broke up because there was simply no more trust and understanding between us no more. Plus he said some really hurtful things to me but two weeks after our breakup, he apologized and asked for another chance but I turned him down. I really didn't want to hear from him at all. We stopped talking and then a month later I started falling for someone else because I really felt that I moved on from my ex jason but that thing I had with the other guy didn't last long and now three months after my breakup with Jason, I started thinking about him again and our memories. I even started dreaming about him and us getting back together. I kind of miss him and idk why this is happening.. I didn't miss him last month or the month before that. I just started missing him a few weeks ago and I wonder why is that?? |
