Posted: 11 Aug 2016 02:21 PM PDT Long story short my baby's dad has been ungrateful I let him live with me cause of him I had my son the morning that he stressed my mom & I helped him get an apartment & a job and his ungrateful a** still asked her to borrow him money just so he wont pay her back with his liar *** & let his side girl & mom live there on top of it he would use work as an excuse to not get up in the morning to feed or change his son but now that his new girl is there he gets up early to ask to see his son like all he would do is give him a kiss and leave for like 5 minutes. My son doesn't need that I brought him around my first child. He has a drug problem & lives in my building to just do drama. I'm just tired of it I just want to live with my kids in peace alone. So I'm wondering what can I do he's abusive too has hit me & all so I just wanna know what can I do?
Posted: 11 Aug 2016 02:19 PM PDT My mother has always said he chooses his work over us kids and I am starting to think she might be right. She divorced him because of it but he is still our Dad even though she says he doesn't act like one.
Question: My step mother teaches me NOTHING? Posted: 11 Aug 2016 02:07 PM PDT I am 14 and my mom is a drug addict that left me when I was 7, came back when I was 11 and left when I was 12 :/ she kinda left when u need ur mom the most.... I wanna use a tampon, makeup, wax and stuff like that. but I have no one to help me or even talk to about that stuff. my step mom doesn't do any of those things either.. she thinks makeup is stupid.. I'm not even allowed to dye my hair. all I've ever had is my dad and he's having major problems with me growing up so when I ask him he throws a fit and leaves and yells at me.. I don't have any aunts or uncles because my dad's an only child like me. my grandma is way too old school.. I have NOONE and honestly it's making me tear up. I have a mustache.. nasty looking eyebrows.. and skin problems.. Okay so I admit I did drive her away when I asked her not to go shopping with me. I don't like shopping with her because she asks a million questions and make sure everything perfect when I'm with my dad we get it and go. I asked my dad when we're back to school shopping if Missy (her name) was coming. he said she told him she didn't want anything to do with it. I'm kind of insulted.. I didn't tell her to her face. what's her problem?
Question: Can my aunt take custody of me in california? Posted: 11 Aug 2016 02:06 PM PDT i am a 16 year old girl. my mom and dad are separated, both living in california just in different cities. my aunt is too living in california. long story short, both of my parents are unfit for parenting. i am currently living in a small kitchen at my mother's home on the floor. i had lived with her and then moved in with my father a year ago. he wanted me to stay but he continually left for vacations with his girlfriend (his girlfriend is terribly mean to me) and left me to fend for myself. he told me he wanted me to move back with my mom so him and his girlfriend could have their house "back to themselves so it feels like their home again", so i moved out. this summer, i lived with my aunt. she is the only stable adult i have in my life, she even works for the government (environmental toxicology, has won naval awards for being a good citizen). my mom has been in a mental institute a few times and child protection has been called to my house a few years ago. technically, my mother has custody of me but i had lived with my father, and because i am over the age of 13, i can choose which biological parent i want to live with. i just am not sure if that applies to my aunt. i know that my father would be totally fine with me living with her, its just my mother would be very against it because she wants me all to herself. i would be willing to go to court for the matter, but will my aunt be granted custody? what should i do?

Posted: 11 Aug 2016 01:51 PM PDT I'm 18 and my mother is drivin me INSANE. She talks and nags constantly. She always tells me "(My name) if there is something wrong please tell me." So I tell her and she goes completely ballistic. Talking about how no one likes her and me and my dad are ganging up on her. SHE ACTS LIKE A VICTIM. She is ride and doesn't see it. I try to tell my mom that some things she does is rude and she either goes "Oh I don't care" or "Oh my gosh don't say that about me". What do I do?!?! My dad and grandma feel the same way. She says we don't communicate enough but how can we when EVERYTIME we do she yells and us?!
Question: Parents won't let me quit my job? Posted: 11 Aug 2016 01:21 PM PDT I've had a job for about a month and a half and I hate it I really want to quit it. My parents say I need money to help pay for college. My parents aren't rich but they're definitely not poor either. My dad even works at a college and I get free tuition if I go there. My grades are probably good enough to get in too. I have some money in a college fund already and I would probably only have a few more thousand by the time college starts so there is really no point in having a job how can I convince them to let me quit?
Question: What can I do to persuade my family the TV is too loud? It's making me really stressed.? Posted: 11 Aug 2016 01:07 PM PDT I've tried many times to ask them politely and they just get rude and tell me I'm being unreasonable and the volume is fine, and they tell me to stop being such a whiner. I genuinely think they may be deaf or something. I'm 23 and although I had no plans to move out for a few years, this alone is making me consider just moving into a flat myself. Sometimes they have it up loud at 11 at night and I can't sleep for work because of it. The worst part is they make me look like the one in the wrong for confronting them about it. I feel like there's no solution to this problem and sometimes I feel like putting a hammer through the TV!!!!!!
Question: Should I be worried about my cousin? Posted: 11 Aug 2016 12:57 PM PDT I have a cousin who I used to be very close with. But the last 4, 5 years she hasn't left the house. Not even for groceries. Her mom does the groceries. She used to be chubby and tanned. But the last time I saw her, and that was 2 years ago at my grandma's for 5 minutes, she was very pale and skinnier than me. And I'm pretty petite and skinny. She had huge dark circles. Her bones were sticking out. Her lips were dry and cracked. I want to help her, but she doesn't want to talk to family anymore. I totally understand her from one side, because our family is horrible. But from the other side, she is my favourite cousin (from all the girls). I want to help. I think something is going on at her home. Her mom lost a lot of weight too. They look so unhealthy. Her younger brother is still the same. And she doesn't even talk to her father anymore.
Question: Should i not feel like this? Posted: 11 Aug 2016 12:52 PM PDT Dad hates his son. If i explain how i feel i'm the bad person. Dad left family at a point, i'm the bad person if i say something about that. Dad is negative of me no matter what i do, he has threaten me and is uncaring of me. I deal with anxiety and feel like there is no point of living. I try and be helpful, and do what i can for people. Keep to myself, but nobody wants anything to do with me. Family hates me, i'm blamed no matter what. Dad doesn't apologizes. If i explain how i feel, i'm the bad person.
Question: My dad is a bitter person help me out here? Posted: 11 Aug 2016 12:44 PM PDT My dad just loves to make us suffer because of his bitterness and jealousness he doesn't care about our feelings only his. He can't even get into that new Cruz car because of his stomach. He made my brother's girlfriend cry because of his loud mouth, he eats up everything in the house, he won't buy the wire for the AC and I have heat rush which he don't care about. Everytime I want to say something about my mom cuts me off like i'm a child I'm 26 yrs old I don't have any rights to say anything to him. He smokes all the time, hedoesn't have any friends because of his attitude problem towards he thinks that everyone is against him. How can I get him to understand us more instead of himself? he's messed up person. Please no rude, disrespectful, nasty, spam, and anonymous comments because some people don't know where I come from. My dad refuses to get a job to help us out he jsut spends his money on junk on Ebay when he doesn't want to fix them, he doesn't clean up he thinks that it's a woman's job to cook and clean in the house instead of having a business to get some money, He thinks that I can't get a job while being online college, he doesn't teach me how to drive a car because that women is horrible at driving but he does the road rush and blames everybody for his failures when he can't blame himself.
Posted: 11 Aug 2016 12:40 PM PDT We'd known eachother for 4 years. IN the past we've gotten into arguments that have ended badly when I noticed interest on his part and called him out on making excuses to talk to me(caught him staring) and he denied it saying he's happy with his gf and it ended pretty badly with me blocking him. Yesterday(a year later), I accidentally sent him a blank email and he text me 10 minutes later "hey I got an email from you with empty subject. Did you need something?" Then we talked like nothing ever happened. Since last we spoke he didn't delete my number, he's changed his phone to an iphone and still kept my number in this new phone. Before yesterday he always comes to his grandmas quite often 3x a week and dressed in jeans and shirt as opposed to before in bball short and t-shirt. I'd caught him staring etc which led me to believe he had a crush on me.
Question: How should I talk to my parents about money management? Posted: 11 Aug 2016 12:08 PM PDT Its sad when a 21 year old has to actually have this conversation... My dad makes about $1500 a month and my mom makes about $1100 (after taxes). I contribute 500 each month to cover lot rent. We don't owe a mortgage or car payments, and utilities/cable run about 250 a month. Phone is divided three ways so its only $60 a piece. And somehow, I'm dealing with someone every month to keep the power cut off, or turning off the water, or removing the dish. Somehow, I'm dealing with the landlord every month for rent that shouldn't be late. I've written everything down and gone over this countless times with my siblings, there shouldn't be money problems in this house. But there is. I'm assuming one of them has an expensive addiction that I don't know about, but other than constantly being short money I have no evidence. Either way, I want to discuss this problem with my family. Somehow money is being mismanaged and its getting out of hand. How should I go about this?
Question: Dad is uncaring and hateful what to do? Posted: 11 Aug 2016 11:51 AM PDT Not concern about anything that has to do with son. I'm an adult and unfortunately live with parents. Plan on moving out, though my dad hate me no matter what. I try and be helpful but doesn't care anything about me. He also left family at a point. He has said hateful things and doesn't apologize. If i tell him how i feel, it doesn't help anything. He loves my sister that is also an adult, and live with parents. Dad has also threaten me. Uncaring dad doesn't anxiety or anything. Dad doesn't care, and hates son. Worst thing is i live with parents. Don't feel the same around dad. Sometimes just feel like snapping if i'm around dad. Dad hates me no matter what i do. Plan on moving out if you read the details. You don't understand my situation, i just post questions on here because i don't have nobody to talk to .
Question: Strict parents won't let me move out? Posted: 11 Aug 2016 11:50 AM PDT Let's start off by saying that I am 20 years old, with an associates degree in Information Technology. I currently have a well-paying job in my field, and I'm looking to pursue the major I actually wanted to pursue in the first place. I found a university around 40 minutes away from home, that offers a great program in what I want to study. I want to get my bachelor's in the field I am looking to study, and build onto my IT degree. The problem is, I'm still living at home. My parents won't let me move out, and told me I have to stay close to home and study to be a Pharmacist. They weren't happy with the fact that I did get a degree in IT. They wanted me to do Pre-Med at the community college I attended before I moved on to a university. I don't want to make the commute every day from their home. It ends up being around an hour with traffic. I also really want to leave this house. We'll put it this way: My mental health is suffering greatly by being here. I'm not allowed to see a therapist because "It'll make us look bad, for others to see our daughter who isn't right in the head." My father's justification is "You can't even make a grilled cheese, what in your head makes you think that you can live on your own?" Not true, in the slightest. I can't stay here anymore. I wasn't allowed to drive until I turned 19 because they were afraid. I would visit and keep in touch, but it just isn't feasible for me to drive an hour to and from school, after work everyday. I need to leave. I'm terrified of my mental health declining even more because I'm staying here. They won't budge. What are the best ways to go about this? Please don't tell me that I'm an adult and I can just up and leave. It's not possible with them. I have the money to pay for my own health and car insurance. I have the money to pay rent. I'm already paying off the small amount of loans I took out for community college. I just can't let myself sit here and suffer anymore.
Question: Help! I overslept and missed over 2/3 of school.? Posted: 11 Aug 2016 11:32 AM PDT My sister woke me up right before she left for school, and I was awake for about 15 minutes but then I decided to get some rest in bed before I had to go, but I fell asleep and woke up at 2pm. I don't know what to do or what to tell my parents. I stayed home sick yesterday, so I don't want them to be suspicious or mad at me. Please respond!
Question: Is my ex mother run law out of line? Posted: 11 Aug 2016 11:28 AM PDT My former mother in law babysits my daughter occasionally while I work. Now she wants my daughter to start spending the night at her house occasionally and I have told her no because my daughter does not like staying over there, does not sleep well and I don't like her spending the night at other places. She also has a boyfriend who stays there that I know nothing about. My former mother in law is refusing to babysit now and is no longer speaking to me. Is she out of line for doing this?
Question: Is it alright for my mother to blame my grandmother for something my grandfather did? Posted: 11 Aug 2016 11:22 AM PDT So we just got home from vacation, and my mother left our tents and stuff out on the porch for about 2 weeks now. My grandfather took them and hauled them up the hill in our backyard out of the way so we couldnt find it. Our grandfather is our landlord btw. My grandmother couldnt have stopped it because she cant control my grandfather and my mother expects her to and started screaming at my grandmother because she is scared of my grandfather. She started telling her to get it when she cant even lift the stuff and threatened to not pay rent because my grandmother was trying to defend herself and say that she cannot control my grandfather. My mother says she is responsible too but I dont see how my grandmother could have stopped my grandfather because he will do it anyway and has multiple times done stuff to all of us, not just my mother, like burning my great aunts stuff that my grandmother was keeping because he viewed it as junk. I tried to tell my mother that my grandmother couldnt stop him but she just threatened my stuff. I really dont think its fair that she blames my grandmother.
Question: I'm want to cry! I just don't know how to handle everything sometimes? Posted: 11 Aug 2016 11:22 AM PDT I want to scream, and cry! I don't know how to keep my emotions in check sometimes. My mom's sick with cancer. Can't really be left alone. My grandma lives with us as well. My grams got upet because I didnt tell her last night My daughter has a eye doctor app. But I've been talking about it on and off all week. More like two weeks. She's also upset that last night I didnt feel like running out for bread. And the fact I am letting my boyfriend drive us to the app. That I always ask him to drive me places. I can't really drive my mom's car because I'm not on the insurance. And mine was a pos. Kept dying out. It ended up having an issue with the trans. My grandma is pretty mad and upset I asked my boyfriend for help. And wanted to cancel her app. Can't get in for another 3 months. And she needs to go. She has a lazy eye, and need to get it check to make sure everything is staying in check. My Grandma then was yelling at me that there's no bread( we had about 4 slices left) and there is no food to eat. We have chicken, hamburger, frozen lasagna, forzen ribs, and pizza. That's just off the top of my head. Mike cereal ice cream. Can stuff... Yet its a major issues over bread. And how I don't want to cancel my child app. How I can't leave until my dad comes home. Its the start of her app that would put me 15-30 mins late.

Question: Where can I get court records reguarding custody? Posted: 11 Aug 2016 11:03 AM PDT Has to do with my sister, my mom has full custody of her and my sister is only 7, has no idea who her dad is and my mom doesn't plan to tell her, I'm just curious..
Question: I hate my mother and my sister. How do I deal with them? Posted: 11 Aug 2016 10:57 AM PDT So, for the past few years, my life with has my family been really difficult. I'll make it short and to the point. My mother has always been the strict, and cold type of mother. Not only that she has a very short temper and is extremely, how do you say, sensitive? But not in the sensitive where you say something and it hurts them, no. Sensitive, as in, you mention something and she'll practically hate you for all eternity for saying that one thing. For one, my mother has been practically screaming about how much of a failure I am. One of the reasons why I'm insecure and why I don't feel like I'm doing something good in the worlds she's always focusing on the negative with me and never the positive. She's hit me plenty of times for as long as I can remember. Ranging from reasonable to unnecessarily brutal. She's told me things such as "I regret the day you were born." Or "I regret the second I had you." Things of that nature and tends to make fun of my weight. Saying things like "woman hate fat men." "You can never stop eating can you?" Things like that. My sister is practically the same way as my mother. She's cold and rude, which is why they make so many enemies. How do I deal with such horrid people? I'm 17 and still have a lot to go before I even want to move out.
Question: [Serious] What should I write in my Nana's birthday card? Posted: 11 Aug 2016 10:54 AM PDT My Nana is turning 91 and I want to write a really sweet and heartfelt message in her card, but I just don't know what to write besides the obvious things. I'm not really that close to her, but I see her probably every couple months/every other month and on holidays. But she is the sweetest, kindest, cutest, most beautiful person and was always sweet and loving to me my whole life. And she's probably not going to be around for much longer. Any suggestions for a good birthday card message?

Question: What do you think of this? Posted: 11 Aug 2016 10:42 AM PDT So let's say you were a fifteen year old girl and you dyed your hair bright red. Your mom let you and there were no problems but then there was a family get together and your grandma was like 'ugh I don't like it at all'. Your mom doesn't say anything. But then you respond and say ' well good thing I didn't do it for you.' And then your mom flips out on you saying that was really rude and I should apologize. If that happened to you would you be mad at your mom? Because clearly her mother deserves more respect than her child. And I don't think that this hypothetical teenager said anything too extreme anyway. Thoughts?
Question: Why do people spoil their children? Posted: 11 Aug 2016 10:29 AM PDT My friend is spoiled as f*ck. We are both 16 and going into junior year. His parents give home money whenever he wants and he still has a f*cking job. They waste all their money on him and his sister. He got a 2013 Cadillac ATS before he even got his f*cking learners permit. His parents bought him $180 adidas ultra boosts while I have paid for every shoe I own. He also has an expensive Mac set up with 2 monitors and a bunch of pointless **** that lights up but costs extra and you guessed it, they bought him the Mac not even for a special occasion. His sister is even more spoiled and wears expensive clothes and stuff. You may think I'm jealous but the thing is my dad is a real estate agent and owns a contracting company as well as several houses he collects rent from and my mom is a nurse. We own a single family house in a good nieghborhood. We also have a 2011 Honda Pilot and a 2012 Ford F-250. His dad is a contractor and his mom is a maid. They have a 2004 Chevy Silverado and a 2006 Chevy trail blazer and rent in a 2 bedroom apartment on top of a Mexican restaurant. I sound like a d*ck right now but it's obvious my parents have more money yet they waste all their money on their kids. I know raising kids costs money but do they really need cars that are almost new before they can drive and other stupid sh*t?
Posted: 11 Aug 2016 10:11 AM PDT I would cry like crazy if anything happened but she's so annoying and her voice is grating on my nerves. If I even raise my voice slightly when responding, then I get in trouble with my mom, but she's DEAF so I have to say things 500 times for her to get it. Not to mention, she's from India so she speaks our language, I can speak it but I choose not to, thanks to my family bullying me for my American accent. I attempted speaking with her in our language when she came here but she shook her head and said she doesn't understand me, so now I just speak in English and she doesn't understand that either, and tries to force me to speak our language. And she tells everyone how "American" I am because I choose not to eat traditional food everyday, sometimes I like to eat pasta and a grilled cheese. And I HATE being touched unless it's my mom or someone I choose to be hugged by, and she's always poking me, so my mom told her it bothers me and to stop, so now everytime someone comes home, she tells them how weird I am because I don't like people touching me. She literally tells everybody that I'm weird because I'm super organized and I don't like people touching my stuff? Like my family is pretty unorganized, the house is clean but there's random objects everywhere. And she COMPLAINS SO MUCH. My mom always tells her to stop washing the dishes and cleaning up, but she does it anyways, and then complains her feet hurt and her back hurt, like NOBODY TOLD YOU TO DO ANYTHING SIT DOWN. When she's complaining, it's the worst because her voice is so grating and annoying, she screams when she talks because she can't hear herself and it's so irritating, I wake up and first thing I hear is her screaming to communicate, like shut up. And she plays the TV volume so loud and I'm blasted with obnoxious prayers first thing, I'm religious but I only like the good sounding prayers, not the annoying ones she listens to. I'm always respectful (unfortunately) but I have to deal with this cranky, farting old lady for a few more months, until she goes back home. What to do, each time I hear her voice I instantly cringe, when I talk to her it's all I can do to not yell and be rude, I just need to curb my temper for a bit longer until she leaves? I love my grandpa, his English is really good and he always tells my grandma to stop annoying me if I'm eating a bowl of veggie pasta instead of whatever she cooks. Also, I love cooking, I love looking up recipes and making them And if I ever use the stove (her stove) she gets angry, like I clean up after my self. I usually just use a pot to cook the pasta or veggies or whatever, and a cutting board and knife, and a bowl, If I'm baking then it's a bowl and a pan and spoon, that's it. Sometimes I don't wash the dishes myself, my mom usually does before my grandma came because she doesn't really care, but NO, my grandma complains when nobody effing asked her to wash the dishes in the first place. UGHHHHH IM SO MAD sorry
Question: Is becoming old really this bad? Posted: 11 Aug 2016 09:59 AM PDT My grandmother is severely injured and needs people to help her walk around. She even needs help with basic functions such as eating & going to the bathroom. I'm a young man and it TERRIFIES me.
Posted: 11 Aug 2016 09:35 AM PDT She won't talk at school, or to any of her friends and family, we have tried sending her to a therapist, she just sits and stares at him. She comes home, gets a snack and does homework, then she just does normal kid things. She drives and goes out with friends, and plays outside, but she won't talk at all.
| Question: How do I stop my step-sister from going on vacation with us.? Posted: 11 Aug 2016 09:29 AM PDT My brother and I are going on vacation with our Dad and step-mother but I just found out our step-sister who is older and very obnoxious is flying in Monday, How can we make it so she doesn't come. | Posted: 11 Aug 2016 09:18 AM PDT My mom always compares me to a girl we know. I not to recently quit a sport I was going to. I thought it was the right decision. I now have more time to explore my creativity. But it feels like every little while she tells me I have no life. I'm lazy, I'm stupid, I'm a slow, I'm retarded It gets to me. I know she means it. She says it way to often to not. So I really think low of myself. Everytime I make a mistake i get reminded of my past. I don't feel like I am really needed so much. I feel like I sort of am a pest for my parents. Often their fights are about me. Everytime I tell her something I'm proud of. I just get insulted. She's told me she hates me more then once. I believe her. GUYS MY FRIEND WAS USING MY ACCOUNT IGNORE THIS LOL SORRY |

Question: Who should I talk to? Posted: 11 Aug 2016 09:00 AM PDT I have lots of family problems and I ve seen so much. I wish I could talk to my mom but she usually tells me to shut up or I complain to much. Then she ll confront whoever did what. She just makes matters worse. I wish I can just talk to someone, not a therapist! The things that happen are embarrassing and all my friends/other relatives are blabber mouths and will unintentionally humiliate me. Today I was sort of mean to my dad I really regret it but I really can t talk to my mom. They aren t on speaking terms. Any advice Lol y'all got pranked :p sorry I'm bored
Question: My brother and I faught and my dad doesn't care? Posted: 11 Aug 2016 08:54 AM PDT I'm 16 and my brother is 22, he still lives with us and my parents give him everything. He has a car that he doesn't help pay for. When he crashed it because he was texting and driving they helped him fix it. He drunk drives and does drugs and they say nothing. My dad told him to not have any of his friends in this house. Well school started a couple of days ago and when I came home he had 3 boys in here. I was diagnosed with severe anxiety disorder, social anxiety and depression. He knows this and when I walked in the boys started asking why I was deressed. I got mad because that none if their business and the only reason my brother knows is because my dad told him. My mom doesn't live with us anymore and she's very abusive emotionally so I chose to live with my dad. But my brother has been making my anxiety so much worse because of what he's doing. I tried to talk to my dad but he doesn't seem to care because he's never here. But I got mad and just went to my room and locked the door. The whole night they all kept knocking on my door which made me have a panic attack. When they left I went to make dinner and my brother was calling me a ***** and saying I was rude to his friends. I started crying a little bit but I tried to hide it. He saw me and pushed me saying stop being a baby so I pushed him back. Then we faught and it ended with me having my softball bat. But he tried to grab it and when he let go it hit my nose. I told my dad and my dad said it was my fault.
Question: Is there something wrong here? Posted: 11 Aug 2016 08:44 AM PDT my parents are really confusing. I'm trying to get into this privite school, and there was this big argument about my art that they want to send. They look through my stuff and steal my drawings I did not give them permission to take and now they want to send them to the school, which I did not give them permission to do. I agreed to give them my best to send to the school if they give me the ones they stole. But they act like it's their property, like they're responsible for my artistic ability. My mom asked who I'm trying to impress by deciding which drawings I want people to see and which ones I don't. I said myself. And she says it doesnt matter what I think when it comes to this stuff. Nobody cares what I think. Is it just me, or is this totally wrong to say to your kid? She says stuff like this sometimes. I don't think it's okay. What do you think?

Question: Parents won't help me get a car? Posted: 11 Aug 2016 07:05 AM PDT I'm 16 and getting my license soon. Having a car would be such a big help for me, considering i do sports all year round and i have some late nights with games 3 times a week. Waiting for my parents to come pick me up late is awful because it's a school night and all i want to do is go home, do homework and go to bed. My parents are always late picking me up and my dad hates driving me places, especially if it's outside a 10 minute radius from our house. I can't use my parents cars because my mom works a lot and i cant have my dads car all day. i wanted to use some of my saving bond money to maybe get a used one, but my parents said no because it's all for college. Isn't it my money? my parents have already made it clear they aren't paying. one of my grandparents are willing to help me out, but my parents are still stubborn. Im a good kid and always do what im supposed to do. After the fall season i even said i would get a job and help as much as possible to pay for the car. It's frustrating and all of my friends are slowly getting their own cars which makes me sad so i cant even be happy for them. What should i do?

Question: My mom wants all my money? Posted: 11 Aug 2016 06:10 AM PDT My mom wants me to give her my pay check, but I'm saving the money to buy a laptop for college. She's making me feel guilty for not giving her anything. I know I'm not wrong because it's MY money to begin with. I worked hard for MY money and I can do whatever I choose to do. However, I don't understand why she's so upset that I'm not sharing it. I'm saving for my laptop and even if I wasn't.. Why is she mad?
Posted: 11 Aug 2016 06:06 AM PDT I feel like I'll never be able to build my own foundation, if I'm always helping my mom but she can't afford where we live on her own & she isn't trying to do better at all. My issue comes from her lack of respect and appreciation. She's controlling even though I'm helping her when I could be selfish. A lot of friends tell me she's using me & I'm starting to feel that way myself. I've been contemplating moving out without telling her for a while but some think that's wrong to do so. Any advice here? Just know, I can't really suggest asking for less charges because she isn't having that. Saying "no" to her is worst than calling her a "female dog". ANY ADVICE would help tho'!
Question: My mom wants all my money...Why are Haitian parents so greedy? Posted: 11 Aug 2016 05:31 AM PDT I recently got a job to save up to buy myself a laptop that I desperately need for college. I've been looking for a job since May and I finally got one in July. My mom knows that I need the money for my laptop, yet she keeps on indirectly asking me. She say things like I'm selfish and all that **** all the time. Her and my sister expect me to divide the $334 with them... Like, wtf. I don't have much clothes and my mom promised to give me $100 to buy some stuff, but because of the "job" I got, she seems to won't anymore. I had to take $100 out of the money that I'm trying to save for the laptop, just to buy some clothes and things for college. I even got her something because she kept complaining. My sister on the other hand stays asking me money( she doesn't even need it. She's working and she has her own money. She just wants to suck people dry). I told her I'd give her $20 dollars, but then I cancelled because I have to do laundry and I can't afford to take anymore money out of the savings. I know $20 isn't a lot... But when you have nothing to begin with it is. I'm suppose to make $900 for the summer. The first check was $404 and received $334 after taxes. The next check is suppose to be $496, but it won't be because of taxes. I most likely will get in the $300s again. I'm saving up for a MacBook Pro... So, obviously that isn't near to being enough. Anyway, I know I'm not wrong for not sharing. However, I still want your opinion on this situation. Thank you so much.
Question: Is it right to snoop through someone's Facebook? Posted: 11 Aug 2016 05:15 AM PDT My sister has been involved with drugs for the past year and not so good guys. She is clean now and on sees a doctor to get drug tested every two weeks. She logged into Facebook on my moms iPad a few weeks ago and forgot to log out. Every night and morning my mom gets on her Facebook and reads her private messages and then talks about it with the family and makes fun of her choices. She'd never confront her about anything shed read becUse she doesn't want my sister to change her password. Is this invasion of privacy? My mom sai she doesn't care she has a right to know and she was meant to see it.
Question: I don't like mother in law. We have nothing in common and it's ackward ? Posted: 11 Aug 2016 04:58 AM PDT So I have more in common with my bfs sister or even dad..at least the conversation keeps going with them ..but with his mom oh boy its completely always uncomfortable and awkward we have nothing in common and every time I run into her is like running into a scratched chalk wall. Its horrible and I'm sad about it because I love her son . but since we are so different ...in afraid it will cause a wedge between us and try to convince him in not good enough . for instance my real mom is very neat and tidy and likes to dress up nice and have her house with new furniture and she can be high maintance but funny . my bfs mom is the total opposite and since I wasn't raised that way it's like every time I'm around her it's like someone throwing me into a lions den. Is this normal to feel this way towards mother in laws ? Or just my bfs Mom sorry.

Question: Can I live wherever I want to? Posted: 11 Aug 2016 04:32 AM PDT I'm a 13 year old girl, and my father lies, slaps, spanks, makes sexual comments, and calls me worthless and a failure. My parents are not divorced, but they used to. He had punched holes in the wall and would get into fights with my mother. He literally yells inches from my face. I just cannot stand living with him anymore... I love my family, but I truly just cannot bare this any longer. I want to live ANYWHERE else, ad long as it is away from him. Also, if I cannot legally do anything, please give me ideas on how to run away... Please help me.
Posted: 11 Aug 2016 04:27 AM PDT My mother saw him for two days and then left town. She had to be gone three of the days but then could have returned but didn't. My brother was once difficult and a drug user but he is NOT now. I know my mother loves him but was she wrong to leave on him like this and only see him for two days? I asked yesterday but left out the background which is why I am asking again. Also, my brother is NOT a kid so it is not a babysitting thing but still I found it cold since he is not trouble anymore (he is 25). @Prepper World Bob----But it is her son
Posted: 11 Aug 2016 04:26 AM PDT I am an adult and happy with what I do. My step-father was thrilled when I was a kid that I wanted to be a preacher and he is disappointed that as an adult I don't want to. It was his bragging right that his step-son was going to be a minister (I was only 14 and 15 when I said it). So am 31 now and about to go see my mother on vacation. I am still a church goer but not a minister and my step-father brings it up each year on this vacation that I "still have a calling and not to let the devil steal it". How do I respond?
Question: I want to commit suicide? Posted: 11 Aug 2016 04:24 AM PDT I'm 16 (boy) I want to commit suicide, My life is so bad, People don't like me. I feel lonely. I need friends, I have no one, I just want to stop my pain, So others can be happy :(
Posted: 11 Aug 2016 04:21 AM PDT I really liked my mother's cousin as a kid. I heard he and his wife and kids are vacationing nearby and thought I'd give him a call. I am 30. My mother avoids him because he divorced his 1st wife (likely had an affair). I feel that was wrong but none of my business. So am I wrong to be seeking him out? His divorce was 12 years ago? @VITTORIO----Visiting There is nothing to investigate plus I could care less
Question: What's your opinion on this? Posted: 11 Aug 2016 03:54 AM PDT Let's say a mother and son are consenting adults, and they want to have a sexual relationship. Let's also say the mom can no longer have kids. Would you be against it or fine with it? If your against it, give an actual reason why. How does it harm anyone? Don't say "I'm against it because it's disgusting" That's the same argument bigots use.
Question: Torn between family and fiancé? Posted: 11 Aug 2016 03:23 AM PDT My fiancé and I are getting married really soon but we have a 4 hour drive between us. My family stays in the north and he stays in the south. Distance is a lot so I try to spend as much time with him as possible, but my heart is so torn between the two, I wanna spend as much time as I can with my fiancé, and I also wanna spend as much time as I can with my family. What sucks is that once we get married I won't be able to see my family as often because of the distance, I feel so sad recently because of this, because I miss my family when I'm here with him and miss my fiancé when I'm with my family. If I get a job it'll be harder to see my mother and father once I get married, I don't know how to handle this because I feel really torn between the two and I just need advice.
Posted: 11 Aug 2016 02:53 AM PDT I'm having a 50th birthday party for my mother at my house and I'm inviting our family and all of her friends. Even though my mom is divorced from my dad she is still very close with my dad's sister. My aunt has two younger kids and she brings them to everything. I guess because she is also divorced. I love my cousins but they can be obnoxious, get into everything and just cause problems, besides that I know my mom would not want them there. I would love to have my aunt come to the birthday party, but it's going to be adults only and I don't know how to say that to her without being rude. I have purchased invitations so I'm wondering if maybe I should just put "no kids" on the invite?
Question: How do I make my mom stop hating me? Posted: 11 Aug 2016 02:35 AM PDT I m 13 years old and my mom despises me. She tells me she does whenever she gets the chance. She calls me names, tells me to kill myself, tells me I wasn t supposed to be born, that she wishes I d died at birth, etc. She takes my phone for stupid reasons like if I forgot to do a chore or something and even after I do it and do everything she says she doesn t give it back for weeks, even months. I have asked her why she hates me before and she either avoids the question or denies it. She very obviously loves my sister more than me and it really hurts. I ve said before that I don t want to be here anymore and that I really want to kill myself and she seems fine with it. No matter how much I cry, she doesn t seem to care at all. She tells my sister she loves her every night, but I can t remember the last time she hugged me. Whenever I try to hug her, she says "get away from me" or "I don t want you touching me" and I really can t handle it anymore. What do I do? You
Posted: 11 Aug 2016 02:09 AM PDT So I've got a problem. I live in Victoria Texas and I am 17 yr old in 10 days. Well in Texas the legal age to move out is 17. So I want to move out a few days after my birthday. I do my school online. The problem is my parents in particular my mom. They don't think it is a wise move at all. I have a steady part time job working making a little over 20k per year. I have saved 2k for moving expenses. The reason i want to move is cause (1) i can (2) i want more exposure especilly with girls. I am shamed to say i have NEVER kissed a girl in my life because i am so unexposed. So I am stuck on what I should do.I don't want to hurt my parents but I also don't want to live like this anymore. Thanks in advance!
Question: Do most girls sleep without underwear under their pajamas? Posted: 11 Aug 2016 01:59 AM PDT Last weekend, our aunt stayed at our house and she was sleeping in my sisters room so she was sleeping on my bedroom floor. Me and my sister are pretty close so she doesn't mind changing clothes in front of me (I'm a 14 year old boy and she is 13). Before we went to bed, she changed into her pajamas in front of me but she took off her underwear before she put on the pajama pants. Do most girls sleep without underwear under their pajamas or is it just her? Just wondering.
