Posted: 11 Aug 2016 10:07 PM PDT Me and my fiance decided to have a wedding in his country for saving money because I have to move in his country (US). I have some friends there but we are not so close like friends from high school or university from my hometown. Also my parents cannot come to my wedding, their cannot travel for long time. So at my wedding will not have bridesmaid. and my dad cannot walk me down the aisle. Should I ask my friends in US to be my bridesmaids? Is it weird to do that? I have a cousin in the US. Should I ask him to do my dad work? Thank you so much. My best friends (from my country) said they will dress up to be my bridesmaids via Skype on my wedding day. How do you think? I am worried about bad connection lol
Question: What did he mean by this??? Please help!!!? Posted: 11 Aug 2016 10:02 PM PDT So basically a month ago my boyfriend asked me to marry him, but not officially yet because he doesn't have the ring. Anyways I said yes to him and from there everything has been going good with us, but a few days ago we talked about a few things and he commented to me that I shouldn't be to eager into getting married yet. I asked him why not and he told me because nothing in life is secure and that I should be eager once he formally asks my hand in marriage. Why do you think he had a change in thought? Any opinions please. He says that he loves me so much and that he has never been this happy before, but I'm still not sure why he said that. Oh and after he said I shouldn't be too eager yet I told him that I understood and that I wouldn't be as eager anymore and he asked me what was I planning on doing. I told him to just say that I was his gf and he got sad afterwards.
Question: Do I have to have a ring to get married at the courthouse? Posted: 11 Aug 2016 09:52 PM PDT So my bf and I wanna get married but I don't have an engagement ring and he was wonderin if we'd have to have rings to get married.(his question.lol)
Question: I need to leave a bachelorette party early and the bride is so angry at me!? Posted: 11 Aug 2016 01:28 PM PDT So next weekend I am traveling 5.5 hours to a lake house (which I have already paid my share of) for my friend's bachelorette. I am NOT a member of the bridal party, and there are 15 girls attending in total. The house is ours from Sunday - Thursday. This week (1.5 weeks before the party), my partner and I were invited to an important dinner as representatives of this company. He asked me if I could maybe come back on Saturday, and I was sure the bride wouldn't mind. Nope. She is so angry. This is a girl I love dearly but see a maximum of twice per year (we live 7 hours apart). I am making the trip, bought a gift, told her how genuinely excited I was about Thursday and Friday, but she is giving me the cold should. Any advice on to go forward? Do I still go to the party? Skipping the dinner is not an option, and frankly, I'd chose my partner over anyone else any time.
Question: How can we include my fiancées mom in our wedding? Posted: 11 Aug 2016 01:07 PM PDT My fiancée and I are going to start planning our wedding. Her mom recently passed in March from cirrhosis in the liver. She told me she would like to do something to include her in the wedding. Of course I said yes as I wish she was here with us to celebrate such a special occasion. I would like to ask you guys if you guys had any ideas to help us include her and make it seem like she s there. I told her I would take care of it, so it is gonna be a surprise. I want it to be something that she will never forget, and that will make her happy, and seem like her mom is really there. Thanks in advance!
Question: Engagement photos but your having a Courthouse wedding?? Posted: 11 Aug 2016 07:43 AM PDT Can you still have an engagement photoshoot if you are going to the court house to get married? I would figure since I'm not having an actual big wedding engagement photos are not needed? Please help. Thanks.
Question: How did you go about choosing your maid of honor? Posted: 11 Aug 2016 01:14 AM PDT If you're like me and have a lot of close friends, then you know how difficult it is to choose a maid of honor. I have a matron of honor, but I'd like to have a maid of honor as well. I have 8 bridesmaids and 6 of them expect to be the maid of honor. One is the matron, so that leaves 5. What would be a good way of choosing the maid?
