Question: Why is my dad such a jerk? Posted: 12 Aug 2016 02:42 PM PDT In high school my dad was popular. He was quarterback of the football team, and prom king. I'm the exact opposite. I'm a nerd. I like to read. I love science. I'm not athletic at all. My dad was the type of person that teased the nerds in high school, and he does the same thing to me. He teases me, calls me a wimp/loser. He tells me no girl would ever find me attractive. He calls me a pu**y. He keeps telling me I will never have any friends. He calls me names like "four eyes". He tells me I'm a dissapointment because I don't like sports. He also calls me a queer/****** because I don't like sports. He is just so mean. Why is he so mean? When I ask him why he does the things he does, and says the things he says, he tells me to get a life, and laughs.
Question: Which hurts worse. When someone you love dies, or when someone you love leaves you? Posted: 12 Aug 2016 01:56 PM PDT No one that I really love has ever died. But someone I loved a lot left me, and it hurt bad for a long time. For those of you who have experienced both situations, which was worse?
Question: How come adults don't think popularity matters in school? Posted: 12 Aug 2016 01:48 PM PDT I have a 19 year old friend who thinks I shouldn't try so hard and focus all my time on popularity. My parents don't think it's important either and my teachers don't think popular kids and teens are any better than any other student. I'm 14 and will be in 9th grade (school starts in September 6th because I'm in the very west Canada so I start later). I was in high school as an 8th grader as well..all the 8th graders were thirsty for popularity in freshman year. My friend is now going to her second year of college, back in high school some girls would tease her and call her names like hideous, fob, ugly, etc, and back then she would complain and cry about it but now it doesn't matter to her anymore. It seems like once teenagers graduate high school and become adults they don't care what their social status in high school was anymore, it doesn't matter if they were that loner who sat alone during lunch and all the other people laughed at them and bullied them, it doesn't matter if they were the pretty girl tons of boys wanted, it doesn't matter if they were emo or goth, etc.
Posted: 12 Aug 2016 01:26 PM PDT my daughter was being stupid so I forced her to put her son up for adoption (couldn't support him anyway) was I right? Y'all just got trolled
Question: Is my mother jealous or being protective? Posted: 12 Aug 2016 12:31 PM PDT I'm 19 years old. Everytime I wear dresses, skirts, jeans or pretty outfits in general she tells me to go "put some clothes on and dress modest", even while I am just staying home. If men look at me, she gets mad at me and tells me to dress appropriate and acts like I'm forcing them to look. What do you think?
Question: Considering burning my room down? Posted: 12 Aug 2016 10:31 AM PDT I mean I'd go that far to keep my mom from barging in without asking. Everytime she does that it leaves me irrational and pissed for the next 30min so at some point I may actually set myself on fire. I don't even know why I get /that/ upset, since it's over 30min now and I pretty much calmed down. That's that. Pls help?
Question: Is this bad enough to break up? Posted: 12 Aug 2016 10:00 AM PDT I ve been dating my boyfriend for 4 years already. He has always been the sweetest nicest person ever to me. 2 years into out relationship he started doing heroin. For the whole first year it would be nothing but me arguing with him about it and him threatening to leave me if i dont stop bugging him about it. After the 2nd year i stopped saying anything just let him do whatever and acted like i didnt give a s*** anymore. In hopes hed just get "clean" some day. He started selling it and them got arrested for trafficing an ounce of heroin and went to jail and was supposed to get mandatory prison time. I bailed him out, he got transferred to another jail, and bailed him out of there too. I still owe bailbonds over $3000 under MY name. Last time he got out of jail he relapsed. This time he says hes not doing it anymore but i caught him a couple times. He admitted to doing it those couple times but still goes in the room and closes the door while his brother is smoking. (But he isnt?!) Hmmm.
Question: Me and my married fck buddy has some sort of feelings for each other? Posted: 12 Aug 2016 08:26 AM PDT When I met him he told me he was single and then I discovered he's married from Facebook so he flips out and says they're divorcing and he's tired of her blah blah blah. Shows me texts that he wants a divorce and moved on to me. But now out of nowhere she's at his house and I messaged him for sex and he asked me if he could screw me in front of her.. what?! I said no. Keep in mind we were in a relationship at one time broke up and became fck buddies again. I'm so overwhelmed because I have feelings for him and he has feelings for me I think. The moments we spent that wasn't even sexual just enjoying each other company. He's 21 and I'm 31... by the way.. what should I do? When I told him I had feelings and wanted to let him go because I don't think he feels the same he suggested that I stayed in his life. Also he was willing to sneak off and have sex with me while he wife came to visit him from another state.
Question: Am I naive or just patiënt waiting for him? Posted: 12 Aug 2016 06:46 AM PDT I haven't seen my lover in 6 months. I don't want you to preach but he's married. He says he doesn't feel good to make love right now. Since the terror attacks he's been depressed and takes medication even though I tell him to just work less and eat better. He's a workaholic. Has a few hours of sleep per night. Wife has cancer. Mother is sick. He has psoriasis. We had such an amazing passionate affair and I don't want it to stop because it makes him happy. We love zacht other. I tried seducing him over email but he just changed... how can I win him back?
Question: Why would a girl ask another girl "have you ever dated before"? You're both 21.? Posted: 12 Aug 2016 06:19 AM PDT And the girl asking says things like "do you always have to look cute" And "where are you going" when she sees you getting ready in the morning.

Question: Is having a security blanket/baby blanket immature? Posted: 12 Aug 2016 05:19 AM PDT So I m 14 years old, and going into highschool. I have a security blanket, and I have had since I was was 2 years old. When I was a lot younger, I had it with me constantly (but not in stores or anything like that). The blanket is blue and has snowflakes with bears dressed in winter clothing, which I ve always thought was cute. But my point here is that my stepmom bugs me about the blanket. Now that I m 14 I usually just have it with me when I m sleeping or on the couch at home. One thing I do that might be considered weird is that I smell it. The smell of this particular blanket is comforting to me. I never take it to sleepovers or take it to anyone s house or anything like that. But my stepmom says she s scared for me because I still have it and I m going into highschool. It s always been a source of security for me, though. I ve been through a lot of stuff such as my mom having several mental illnesses, abusing prescription drugs, alcohol, and more. Not only that, but I also lived with my stepdad who was verbally abusive, controlling and an alcoholic as well. I was scared to tell anyone about that situation for years (I finally did get out of it, though, after CPS got an anonymous call and called my dad, and I am now free and finally happy and able to be a kid) My friends have security blankets, too. So is this weird and babyish of me or is it normal and just a source of comfort?
Posted: 12 Aug 2016 04:40 AM PDT There was no cause of death in the newspaper obituary and no other articles seem to appear about the event. She was relatively young. It's sad for me, but I don't want to upset the family because we had broken up and the woman who died wasn't happy about it. The breakup occurred decades before the death, however. Even still, I worry that it may have been tragic or unexpected.
Posted: 12 Aug 2016 04:37 AM PDT I believed she was the one and planned on asking her to marry me. Everything was perfect. Yet, she broke up with me. She said that I was too good for her and she didn't deserve me. I told her that she was too good for me and so beautiful, but she said that we couldn't be together cause I was too good for her. I managed to log into her facebook account. I didn't want to. It just sorta happened. Found these messages where she says some negative things about me and my performance (in person she used to say I was incredible). Also said that I was boring, and stuff about other guys she liked. I really don't know what to think. I was very upset before but I understood that she thought I was too good for her, but her Facebook says the exact opposite. Which should I believe?
Question: My friend's mom called me stupid? Posted: 12 Aug 2016 03:37 AM PDT I heard her refer to me as "that stupid girl" over the phone to (I assume) my friend. I am not sure what to think of the situation at this point.

Question: Should I tell him I did it? Posted: 12 Aug 2016 12:05 AM PDT Hi so I tried to be friends with another guy, he was really shy and quiet. He was nice to me and everthing but I could tell he didn't want to be my friend. I got naturally angry and frustrated with myself and also him, but I didn't say anything. But then I heard that a few years ago he lost his mother to cancer.. I felt really bad for the kid. I wanted to make him feel better, but I didn't want him to know it was me. So I bought a lotto ticket at the local gas station and slipped it into an envelope, and wrote 'Open me' on it. Then I taped it to his locker.. later I happened to be walking by when I saw him open it, he seemed really happy which made me feel good about myself. But when I told my friend the story she told me I should tell him.. I asked my other friend and my cousin and they all agreed on the same thing.. But I still don't know what I should do. I feel like if I don't say anything I'll never be satisfied and won't know what he'd think about it, and it might even show him what kind of friend and person I am in general, on the other hand I don't want to seem like I'm in it for the glory and credit.. It's summer vacation so I'd have to wait until school in about two weeks.. P.S. I'm a guy
Question: What's this guy's at the gym problem? Posted: 11 Aug 2016 10:03 PM PDT I go into the locker (bottom one) and this guy's stuff is all in my space. He's changing to the side of me near his locker locker (bottom right). His nasty shoe insoles were in the way.. I can't access my locker. so I lightly kicked his insoles to the side (gentle kick) Then this guy confronts me in my face like he's going to punch me and says, "DON'T TOUCH MY ****!!" I said "sorry," and I backed off.( I'm not trying to start a fight in the lockerroom lol.) *I understand my rudeness...I should have asked politely...'hey can you please move your stuff?" but to escalate that high...don't understand. He's one of those short loud/heavy lifters by the way. Thoughts?

Question: How do I talk to people with bad conversational skills of various kinds? Posted: 11 Aug 2016 08:14 PM PDT Some people I know are hard to talk to. I would really like to get to know them, but they don't seem to have basic conversational skills. They do things like go on and on about themselves, try to lecture me when I just want to have a decent conversation, and bring up politics/philosophy and act like they know it all or get really offended when I disagree with them. They don't seem capable of just talking about themselves as people, of just sharing their thoughts and feelings and listening to mine without trying to dominate me in some way or have an intense intellectual debate.

Question: Revenge Ideas: Early Teenager? Posted: 11 Aug 2016 06:54 PM PDT I am not looking physically harm someone, just make them know they have done something wrong, and make sure they never do anything even remotely like this again. About a week or two ago I asked her out and she said yes. We will call her Eliza. Now me, Eliza, and another person we will call Aaron, all are theater people, (live theater). Aaron and Eliza were currently in a show together, except Aaron was Stage Managing. He was being a real jerk to Eliza, for no reason whatsoever, and I was unaware. He started messaging me and started off being friendly, and then starting saying how rude Eliza is, how disrespectful she is, etc. (which is not even remotely true, she is one of the nicest people I've ever met). So Eliza messaged me and told me that one night, Aaron had felt bad for they way he was treating her, so he kissed her, on the lips, without her permission. I need help to teach him a listen. Not physically, but mentally. I rarely see Aaron, and I only have his Snapchat, Facebook, and number.
Question: Why can't I express interest in a guy (I'm bi)? Posted: 11 Aug 2016 06:11 PM PDT I work where this guy comes almost every morning when he gets off work which is a gay club. I'm only out to a few people so I kinda act more shy than I am, but he's really open, comes in with eyeliner etc. I'm jealous of how out he is lol but I also really like him. He hangs around and we talk for an hour or more every time. I always look forward to it and get bummed if he doesn't come. I think he flirts with me but I can't make myself do it back so he probably thinks I'm not interested FML. He's kissed my cheek, touches my hands a lot and always gives compliments. The other day he left with this other guy, whispers "see you tomorrow" and blows me a kiss and i just wanted to throw up. That's how much I like him. So idk why I can't express any interest! Even if it's just us alone. I'm not like this with girls, I'm not just shy in general. I've never been with a guy before and I know my family and a few friends would throw a fit but its as if I can't even act on it alone with a guy? I have no moral hang ups though. I just freeze and almost feel like I'll get judged for it. I don't get it. Any help help guys?
Question: Can someone tell me what's up with this? Posted: 11 Aug 2016 05:56 PM PDT My sister would bring home her girl friends, but my sisters girlfriends are bully girls. These girls would be thick muscular and stocky, wears normal clothing, jeans and t shirt, and they always talk about beating up people or bullying them for weird things, They don't like someone that acts like this, beat him/her up, They don't like someone that talks this way, beat him/her up, They don't like someone that looks this way, beat him/her up,etc. When I seen these girls I was puzzled because they're not anything at all like the girls that I'm normally used to being around. I have been attacked and almost beat up by one because I was aggravating her without knowing it and that was supposely her 'problem resolution skills' Anyway why are these girls like this and how can I deal with a blood sister that hangs with these kind of people?
Question: When you get pregnant with a married man? Posted: 11 Aug 2016 05:20 PM PDT it's my understanding that I get the house since his wife cant have kids anymore--am I right? our child will need shelter and a healthy Mom, and the Mom is me. The wife will need to find a job and get a starter apartment, she had her chance.
Posted: 11 Aug 2016 05:20 PM PDT I've been talking to this young woman. In no way am I trying to come off as a user because I am in love with her & have been for several years. She's been dating the same guy since high school. He's 3 years older than her I'm 4 almost 5 years younger than her. We're all still young I'm actually 18. I told her that she was an amazing person & im there for her if she ever needs me & she said I could count on her for anything & I'm smart and sweet etc. she'd constantly say I'm attractive like cute handsome she even said she thought I was sexy. I'm in a unique possition so when I asked for feedback on something from work she was impressed. She also sent 🤗😊. There was a period of like a week & a 1/2 where she didn't reply to any of my texts. I'm assuming it's cause her bf was jealous. I posted a picture on Instagram of me her, her sister & I and she commented she loved me a lot. I miss her & want to text her that I miss her. The last thing she texted me was yes my name tell me what it is that I can help you with. You know she practically saved my life. I'm trying get my wine knowledge up & trying to get a pilots license just to impress her. She's a gastronomist.
Question: Does it Considered your mom and your boyfriend taken advantage of you? Posted: 11 Aug 2016 03:52 PM PDT Every since, I done graduated from high school and I have got my graduation money for saving up for money for like things that are important like using it for emergencies only. Yes, I am 19 years old almost about to be 20 just started making my own account and it's my own personal account. I just feel like that my mom has been taking so much money out of my account that she can't even pay me back at all. When she says that she will pays me back she always spend money on the things she want instead of the things that she need ( like pay bills & stuff). My boyfriend on another hand he lives in a county & he expects me to pay for everything just because like I said doing this internship. He keeps on saying that he loves me and will pay me back but, he has not even pay me back not one bit. I honestly do feel like that he is just using me for money and this relationship is just fake. Now, since that I'm not doing that internship no more my boyfriend & my mom still expects me to pay for everything when I'm applying for different jobs and going into different jobs. It seems like when I ask them to do something for me my mom has an attitude & my boyfriend gets mad. I just don't know what to do at this point forward.
Posted: 11 Aug 2016 03:49 PM PDT So basically I got yelled at REPEATEDLY by my stepdad yes I got yelled at REPEATEDLY (abuse) by my step dad and then when I went over to my dad's place be got upset at me too and then sent me back over there and threw me under the bus by emailing my mom which is pretty pathetic, he should have yelled at them at least for abusing me because my family didn't do a DAMN thing to help in regards to the ABUSE I was receiving.
