Posted: 15 Aug 2016 09:28 PM PDT Hi everyone, I just spied on my husbands snapchat and he is friends with a pornstar. It has freaked me out because he denies doing porn. Question: Is it bad that I'm married but I'd love to have some close friends? Posted: 15 Aug 2016 09:16 PM PDT I feel like I can never find any friends since I got married. I'm only 21 and I have no friends. It seems like everyone turns me away, especially guys. I'm not looking to cheat, I just want someone to talk to. Has anyone else gone through this? |

Question: Why Do Men and Women Put Off Having Children or Getting Married until the "Perfect Time"? Posted: 15 Aug 2016 08:35 PM PDT There is no perfect time to get married or have kids. So many people are brainwashed into thinking that you "must" wait until you are into your late 20's or early 30's to get married and have kids. This is wrong on so many levels. If you are financially able to have children at age 25 and agree with your spouse/girlfriend/boyfriend that you want to have kids, then have kids then! It's easier to do it then than wait 10 more years waiting for the "perfect time." Wake up call, there is no rule book to life. Do what you want. I actually think mid 20's is a better time to have kids than your 30's because you are less entrenched in your career. You have less responsibilities at work, more freedom, more energy, etc. You aren't taken seriously at work until your 30's anyways so whats the point in working your butt off when you get no respect at work and get paid less just for being younger. |

Question: Is it okay for your wife to have drinks with single male coworkers? Posted: 15 Aug 2016 07:48 PM PDT So, last Saturday my wife worked a late shift that ended at 1 am. I awoke around 2 am and she was not home yet. Upon texting her she tells me she is hanging out in the parking lot drinking beers with two ex-coworkers who were trying to convince her to quit her job and work with them at a new place. My question is it okay for a married woman or man to be drinking with coworkers or ex-coworkers after work? |
Posted: 15 Aug 2016 07:34 PM PDT Financially we are OK but have a lot of debt. Wife and split all duties and at times are robots and hardly get a chance to talk. We are still 30 years old so we have our whole life ahead of us. Just trying to get more experienced people's thoughts. |
Question: I accidentally called my husband a bad word?? Posted: 15 Aug 2016 07:29 PM PDT It's kinda like loud mouth in Spanish but it sounds really bad because is like a dogs snout , he's very mad at me he won't talk to me, I didn't mean to say it but talking fast my mouth betrayed me, if I say I'm sorry is worse because he's the kind of man that feeds off your guilt, what should I do? And will he eventually get over it? I left the house grocery shopping just to give him space. |
Question: Fight between father in law? Posted: 15 Aug 2016 07:28 PM PDT Me and my father in law both work at the same place and on the same shift, so normally we ride together. We were getting ready to go when we started arguing about what time it was. Nobody told me that the clock on the stove was wrong due to a power outage. So we argue for a couple mins in the driveway about it. Finally i realize the conversation isn't going anywhere so i said fine ok its 9:15. I was planning on leaving it at that when he slammed on the gas to the end of the driveway. He was throwing up dirt and I started screaming to get me out of the truck. ( By then I was using obscenities). He started calling me names as I'm unbuckling my seatbelt, trying to unlock the passenger door, and get out. While I was in the process of getting out he puts the truck in reverse floors it as I'm halfway out. Luckily I wasn't hurt. My husband runs to the truck to talk to his dad and I finally get all the way out and I cuss some more and go back in the house. My husband drove me to work and took me home. We all live together. And since then there was another scream fest between my husband and his dad, in which I got dragged into the conversation with name-calling. I believe my husband is afraid to talk to him because I've asked him to and he hasn't. What do I do? I can't stay locked up in the bedroom to appease someone else. Money is an issue right now so I need to know what I need to do to resolve it |
Question: How do I deal with his long-term illness? Posted: 15 Aug 2016 06:26 PM PDT My BF had complications from a routine surgery. He'll need at least 6 more months to recover, which will then be a total of about a year dealing with this. I've been trying so hard to be supportive, from phone calls to cheerful emails to visiting, to doing his grocery shopping, keeping in touch, offering input from my own medical background. But.. I'm so TIRED now. He just whines, complains and goes on and on about his situation, rejecting ANY ideas about how to get better. He'd rather complain for an hour about how he's not better than eat a healthy meal and take care of himself. Everything I offer or suggest is just a big chore to him. I'm so worn out emotionally. Meanwhile, there's nothing "nice" coming from him to me, no gratitude, no sense of appreciation, no real loving kindness. I don't know what to do but it's almost to where I want to break up with him. HELP PS We're adults. |
Question: How to behave with a Muslim friend and his wife? Posted: 15 Aug 2016 06:23 PM PDT Hello everyone! I have an internet friend who is a Muslim from Egypt, she got married with a mexican girl in Egypt and he's coming to Mexico to live here with her. Me and my wife want to welcome him at the airport, but, he asked me this: "Not to touch or hug his wife, and he can't also touch my wife". So, I don't want to make something that can offend him. Is it ok for my wife to talk? or to say hello? Is it ok to talk to his wife (who actually was a classmate of mine at Highschool)? And, very important, I want to give them a ride to their Hotel, but, how? me and my wife on the front seats or my friend and I on the front seats and the girls on the back seat? Is it ok for them to talk between them? Me and my wife are not muslims, I'm mexican and she's russian. What more should I avoid so I don't offend him? Thank you! |

Posted: 15 Aug 2016 06:13 PM PDT DETAILS: I am 21 and about to graduate from college in December 2016 (Texas). My husband is military and stationed in Kentucky. I figured I could switch everything once I get to Kentucky, but people are telling me I won t be covered under my parent s car insurance plan any longer. Is this true? How do I go about changing it when I am in a different state? Note: I have not changed my name on any documents yet. |
Question: How can I get over my parents divorce? Posted: 15 Aug 2016 06:08 PM PDT My parents have been married for 35 years but have been separated for the past year. I always thought they would get back together but my mother recently started dating a younger man and just officially filed for divorce from my father. I am devastated. She said my father ignores her and doesn't give her the attention, affection, and romance she deserves. But my father stayed loyal to her for 35 years! He never cheated even though he had many opportunities to leave her for younger, hotter women. My father is a distinguished gentleman with a lot to offer while my mother is a 65 year old hag who will never find a better man than my father. She found herself a 57 year old boytoy who is probably only using her for her money or maybe he has some nasty grandma fetish that he is testing out but he will end up leaving her eventually and she will be lonely and regret leaving my amazing father. Why was she so entitled to think she deserves better than my father? Maybe my father would've paid more attention to her if she didn't stop dyeing her hair, shaving her nether regions, and wearing makeup. Anyway, I need to get over this because its keeping me from having relationships myself. My witchy mother has traumatized me beyond belief which has made me feel resentment towards all women and prevented me from dating. What can I do to get over this? |

Question: My husband cheated on me with another woman and ended up giving me HIV.? Posted: 15 Aug 2016 05:39 PM PDT I know that there is know cure and that I will die because of this son of a *****. I would leave him, but our 3-year old daughter depends on me, and finding someone who would have intercourse with a person with HIV is hard. I never cheated on my husband, and never even had sex before we got married. What should I do? |
Question: How to get over cheating? Posted: 15 Aug 2016 05:37 PM PDT 2 years ago my husband cheated on me with his coworker. It lasted a week and consisted of one kiss, which after he continued to talk to her but avoided her at work. Because he's a terrible liar, I figured it out and busted him a week in. Since that day I found out, we have gone to counselling, I have done individual counselling. He has done everything possible for my forgiveness and doesn't have any privacy- when it comes to his phone/Facebook. I don't abuse it, but it's there if I want to look at it. I'm still so angry and it feels, some days, like it happened yesterday. I was amazing to him. There was no reason for it and she was a lot less attractive as well (I know that's petty to say). How does a person move on and truly forgive? How can I stop obsessing over it? |
Posted: 15 Aug 2016 05:22 PM PDT Hello, After going through manipulation for couple months from my husband and his mother, I became bulimic, I have lost 53lbs,and I'm in my normal weight right now, but I cant stop vomiting, it hurts me,my husband findout I still vomit, so he said to me I'm a liar, cause he asked me and I did told him I stopped, i feels like another problem will hit, how can I make him understand? I did hide that I'm still vomiting, cause I just don't want problems with him anymore, I hear their voices in my head, and my husband face while he was talking about my weight gain and how much I ate more than him, my husband says I'm childish and not strong and want to act like a victim, and it is my own problem, but I just don't want to fight him, cause in anyway I just lose, and he find his way to tell me how stupid I'm, I have moved from another country to just come here and marry him, please help me! |

Question: Bored- I'm obsessed with sports outfit and monkey shoes :-/ . Will this be a problem? Posted: 15 Aug 2016 05:10 PM PDT I am worried that I'm spending a little way too much on me. I've spent $1200 on outfits, wallets, a new purse and 6 pairs of sports shoes in a period of 3 months. I rarely shop but it seems like I want a make over. I hate shopping so I buy everything online. It took me 2 years and a major wardrobe malfunction to buy new clothes. As for the shoes, I have bunions and foot injury so I settled on Vibrams. Yeah they stink so I have a pair daily. I don't have a job but my husband makes decent living. However, I'm worried about getting called out for this esp. School is about to start. Is $1200 too much to spend on? Am I turning into a bimbo/ gym rat? |

Question: I love my wife but I'm in love with a co worker? Posted: 15 Aug 2016 04:30 PM PDT I have never had sex with the co worker but we did have a relationship. Honestly if I would have met her first I would have married her. I told her that I could not contine cheating on my wife and she cried like a baby. I am very hurt and upset but I know that I have to do the right thing. My wife and I are young and we only been married for a year and 6 months. How do I get past this? I can't stop thinking about the other woman.. |
Posted: 15 Aug 2016 04:22 PM PDT I have a friend whose supposedly going through a divorce because her husband will not stop cheating on her after he assured her he no longer spoke to the woman, plus she's not the only one. He is ex-con on ssi, and it came out that he slept with the other women with out protection, and one claimed it was the first time. I'm not married, and my friend is very religous and independent and he is dead weight for her. They have been in divorce proceedings before for the same thing? Why won't she get it over with before she regrets it? I have known of women who have fallen victim. Why on Earth would a woman risk her health to stay with a no-good man? Do some women really take in sickness and in health if they were to contract HIV/AIDS, and it's according to God's will? Why don't some women understand if you're in a relationship with a con-man and he's already taking advantage of the system, that he will take avantage of you!? |
Question: How can women make marriage a more attractive option to men? Posted: 15 Aug 2016 04:02 PM PDT If I told you that 50 percent of parachutes fail to work when skydiving, would you go sky diving? That's basically what marriage is like these days for men. Men lose a hell of a lot more in marriage than women and will most likely lose access to their kids as well due to courts favoring women. As a man, I would rather just stay unmarried and have children with the women I love than get the government involved. That way, if it doesn't work out, there is less penalty for me. |
Question: What can happen if coworkers found out my dirty secret? Posted: 15 Aug 2016 03:52 PM PDT I've been having sex with my coworker's wife for five months. We got caught when she got loud last night and woke her husband up. Now he is going to tell everyone our dirty secret. There's no point in even stopping if the whole world knows. Does this mean I could lose my job? |

Posted: 15 Aug 2016 02:57 PM PDT He breaks phone, windows, computers. This time, after refusing me repeatedly, I punched him in the face. He STILL wouldn't hand it over, so I punched him again. Now he's claiming to be a victim of domestic abuse! Oh, and he drinks. What's his deal. Does he have brain damage? @swbarnes: I honestly didn't know he was a massive d o u c h e when we started dating. I plan to file for divorce shortly. @sheloves: He seemed like a good guy. Funny, charming, smart, creative, SEAL trained Navy rescue swimmer... Unfortunately I discovered he was an alcoholic AFTER I married him. He is very good at hiding it and in fact none of his friends or family seem to be the least bit aware of it. @Live Long & Prosper: That could have something to do with it. I think they attract or screen for a certain type. I don't know if he went in a sociopath but he certainly is one now. @ACE, I considered both of those things. He actually hid it from me & refused to say where. Problem was at the time I was also having Major Muscle spasms (runner cramps in my legs & feet). I needed my $ to get the pharmacy right away. I was just so sick of his bullying that I punched him. I gave him fair warning before I did it. It shocked the crap out of him, but he still didn't give it back, so I told him again, and he refused, so i punched him again. I did sleep with one eye open last night. |

Question: I need help on how to handle a situation. . .Lazy and unappreciative husband! !? Posted: 15 Aug 2016 01:14 PM PDT My husband has always been lazy and doesn't help around the house much but it's starting to get on top of me. We both work full time and have 2 children 3 & 5 years old. I get up at 6am everyday to get myself and kids ready for the day, I plan meals, shop, cook teas make packed lunches. I do washing, drying, ironing, make beds. . . Everything! ! I explained to him this morning how I felt unloved and unappreciated. He agreed I did a lot and said he'd do more but 14 hours on nothing. No flowers to say we do appreciate you and love you or help since he got home. All he's done is sit down watch the Olympics and read twitters! ! How do I handle this? |

Question: Upset about what husband watches? Posted: 15 Aug 2016 10:03 AM PDT I know that I am conservative. Please I don't need a lecture on that. My husband told me before marriage that he was not into pornograhy or swearing and after 14 months we got married. Now we have iphones - we have one itunes account. I find a lot of this stuff has downloaded on my iphone. It shows date and price and it is available for me. I asked him if he bought this. He said no, it must have been a mistake by by the phone. I tried to access the account to see more info and the password had changed. A few hours later all the stuff disappeared from the phone though I had taken photos of the list. He has now turned sharing off. It is one thing if he wants to get this stuff but another if he lies about it. The first I could handle; the second is more painful. Is it really possible that the iphone could have downloaded all this stuff without him buying it? Or does it mean he lied and I just can't see it cause he switched a button he didn't know about. If your religion has rules and you date a person telling them she will only date someone that obeys these rules, then why not just be honest with her so she can move on - or perhaps stay single. Why trap her (like now he says if he had told me he watches and swears and drinks I wouldn't have married him). At least I would have had the facts before me and could make the decision to marry based on those facts. This isn't about finding excuses for lying. It is about making promises that the person is faking to get what they want. But now married, I have to come to terms with this. Each item is not a big deal but lying to get what someone wants IS a big deal. The porn showed up on my phone and I told him we had been hacked. He agreed. Stop telling me to not look at his phone. I never have. It got passed to my phone because somehow he accidently turned some button on that was called SHARE. Again it is not about checking up on him, it is about purposely lying about your behavior to get what you want. And my religion does not allow divorce. Never been exposed to this stuff and now I am living with someone that purposely lied before we got married. :( To Alex: If you love someone then you wouldn't purposely lie to them about your past, present or future behavior. And if you love them, you wouldn't lie about your religion or try to change a persons religion. And you think this is small stuff. And I supposed if I told you about the other woman that is now pregnant with his child you would also say get over it. I wasn't even going to bring that stuff up. |

Question: What would cause a wife and mother to just want to leave? Posted: 15 Aug 2016 08:39 AM PDT Lately, I get the feeling like my wife wants to leave me. We've been married for 3 years, and have two children together. She says I'm on my phone too much, and I am now taking her for granted. She hasn't really spoken since before we left on Saturday. We took the children on their first trip over the weekend. We went up with our son's Godparents for their neice's Quinceanera. Just when we arrived at the party, our son threw up all over himself, my wife and the diaper bag just as she was headed to change him again (he had diarrhea since mid-day). My wife hadn't slept decently since Wednesday night. Thursday and Friday, maybe only 3 hours per night. However, when we were finally in our room, she lost it over her purse that she says I threw. I can't be sure if I did or not. I was a bit drunk from the party. I don't know if it's just due to stress and exhaustion; and possibly, hormones. She also got her "friend" before we left, too. I don't understand what's wrong. I've asked her, but she says she's tired of repeating herself and not being listened to. She says that our 3 year old won't listen, because she's learning from me. And please don't say marriage counseling. Okay, so then what's her excuse for refusing to dance with our 2.5 year old daughter? I took both of our children out to dance with me. And I'm in the wrong.... We have a wedding to go to in Nov., and she's already on my case about it. I get the sense she doesn't really want to go anymore. I know we will; she feels obligated since it's our daughter's Godmother's wedding. Hopefully this little "riff" we're in will pass by then. |
Question: Husband keeping a big secret from me? Posted: 15 Aug 2016 08:36 AM PDT I have been with my husband for 8 years and have not celebrated his birthday once. When I first met him he told me to act like he didn't even have a birthday because he said something happened on his birthday when he was younger and he wants to forget about it. He told me he would tell me what happened and it's been 8 years! I understand it is difficult for him to talk about it but I honestly believe he will never tell me. And he hasn't forgotten about it because when it is his birthday I can tell he is very uncomfortable. How can I get him to open up to me and talk about it? I think if he talked about he wouldn't be as affected by it as he is right now. Please give me advice, thanks. |
Question: Can I forgive my husband for having a affair? Posted: 15 Aug 2016 06:43 AM PDT It all started when I was working 16 - 18 hour day shift everyday he just bought a PS3 Wi-Fi he was talking to a girl that was married. He had told me that he had an affair that same week that they were having an affair and I took him back like a stupid idiot but with the promise of him not talking to her ever again. This was six and a half years ago just yesterday evening he finally admitted to me that was in fact 6 weeks of an affair he fell in love with her and the heartbreaking thing is he was imagining her while making love to me so he really didn't make love to me he was making love to her. The reason they broke up was that her husband caught her and had told her to end this right now. So she ended it but he never ended it when I had called him and told him to end it with her. So I know that he didn't love me because he didn't stop talking to her. My question is should I get over it because it's the past |
Question: Wife threatening me? Posted: 15 Aug 2016 06:25 AM PDT My wife and I have been separated for 2 years and have been trying everything to get her back. Last night blew up on our anniversary. 2nd one with us being separated. I could have forgot it since we are not really together but I thought it would be a good thing. We had a unfortunate argument started by me in the restaurant after a nice night and took her back to the place she is watching over the weekend and got emotional and said she's filing for divorce. Well, she's threatened me a few times with this but what if I refuse? I figure if she's going to try this she can put all the effort into it as I will have no part in it. |
Question: My wife makes fun of my manhood is that normal? Posted: 15 Aug 2016 05:57 AM PDT Everytime when we're out with friends she always talks about my penis and how it looks funny. I was never circumcised and had a bad accident when I was 16 it actually affected my groin. She's 10 years older than me so I expected her to be mature about this she knows about the accident and told me she will respect my privacy. Yet she tells her friends what happened it really makes me feel bad to just sit there listening to her talk like that what should I do? |
Question: What do I need to do to put the same "effort" into my relationship as my husband? Posted: 15 Aug 2016 05:31 AM PDT I m supportive, I give him encouragment, I cook, and clean....I feel like I m doing everything I can to make our responsibilities for each other even. I am going to school, he has a full time job making all of our money. His mom just got on him saying I don t do enough for him (i may not so dishes the moment they are made, but I clean them at the end of the day.) she said all I do is fight with his grandma, and leave things lying around. That I am not putting as much into the relationship as he is, and that I should be putting more into it. I don t have a job, I can t find one. I apply everywhere, and then stop for about three months because he tells me not to bother. We are trying to move out of his grandparents house, and I need a job so I am applying again. In the past I have stopped perusing jobs because he had one and we both knew we could afford all bills. But now it s different. By the end of next month I need to be making enough that we can also pay for an apartment. So I know getting a job will do it to. But what do I do to make it so he doesn t feel like he is dragging around a 15 year old all the time instead of his wife? How do i put in more effort than I am when I already cook and clean and go to school and buy the groceries? Especially since I m trying to get a job on top of that. Idk what to do, and I m worried that if I don t do something soon than our marriage will end. And I don t want that. |
Question: Is it rude to tell you're spouse their getting fat even if its true? Posted: 15 Aug 2016 05:26 AM PDT So it's rude to tell someone they're getting fat but it's ok to intervene if someone is drinking too or doing drugs? So it's also read to tell someone they're getting too skinny too right? |
Posted: 15 Aug 2016 04:50 AM PDT it didn't hurt at all and I feel like a new person. I am not scared anymore. Wondering if I'll start to want it more now? Any women have any experience in this? |
Posted: 15 Aug 2016 04:21 AM PDT I live in the county where a bus line operates from city to county. He keeps saying he can t wait til his scooter is fixed so he can come see me.He been catching the bus to my house. But this past week he got all the excuses y he cant come see me. Trying to sound real sad on the phone. My mom lives 15 minutes from his mom house. I m 29 by the way, wen I was down my mom house, he still had an excuse y he couldnt come see me. I found out about other women before. The last situation was back in June he was talking to a 17 yr old he is 31. He been after her since I met him. Which is 3 1/2 Years ago. And trying to have sex with other women as well. I believe he got females calling his free phone. While I call the regular phone. Every time I try to move on he calls me a whore. N say thats y i aint got ****.He don t help me pay no bills. He take his money n pay his mom bills. I m sick of him thinking he can control me. And he does nothing for me. And he always out her disrespecting me. And blames me for his behavior. Honestly I don t even feel like investigating anymore. Every time I do I find out he been talking to another woman. I no he cheating on me but I have no proof. And now that his brother is in the hospital with a stroke he using that as an excuse for him not coming to see me |
Posted: 14 Aug 2016 11:12 PM PDT She told me two days ago that she has an interest in someone. They went to dinner that week. After reeling from the gut punch of that, I talked about what I did wrong that made this happen after 13 years of marriage and 4 kids. I am actually trying to win her back and not trying to freak out over this. I am only thinking about my children. I want them to have a family. I can suck up my male ego and try to get her back if it means my kids wont potentially be raised by another man. It hurts Ok, I appreciate all the harsh comments. Thank you. I did ask for it. A lot of you added some important points. I am so blown away by this that I dont know how to approach it. Where did this "interest" come from? Im sure I didnt show affection like I should as I worked too much and balanced everything in life. Yea I need to be more of a "pursuer"/manly/ all that stuff.. Im not really fine and I didnt really say I was. I just let it happen without a fus, that's why I was "fine" with it. Thank you everyone. I did turn to a strong tactic today and some yesterday. I made clear that I wanted her back and that she had to end all communication with him if she wanted the marriage to survive. I didnt plead at all. i just told her what I wanted but still showing love for my kids and love that is still somehow there for her. She went off on how I wasnt proving that I was any better. Forget that she just cheated!!! I kept redirecting and she kept diverting and saying cruel things. So she refused to end contact and I asked why and she didnt have an answer. So its over. So she is fine with shutting off 13 years of marriange and 4 kids but is not willing, even for a short time, to cut off communication for a few days or weeks while we figure what is going on. I did everything I can. She is just stuck in this and will probably have a horrible life. I wont take her back when that happens. This is sickening. |

Posted: 14 Aug 2016 09:12 PM PDT I'm 5'6, 140 lbs, curvy, but yes I've had two kids, and I think I'm still pretty good looking. I work out, don't eat junk food so I take care of myself. Hubby wants sex probably three times a month if that. I'm 38, he's 37 years old. |
