Question: Am I over reacting? Be honest? Posted: 24 Aug 2016 08:29 PM PDT I met a guy about 6 months ago on FB. We started texting everyday and hit it off. All though at the time I was very busy with college and eventually we drifted apart. No hard feeling or anything, just didn't talk as much but he would comment and like things on FB that let me know he was still interested. In this time he was obviously talking to a new girl who I know of but not personally. She was tagging him in several posts a day but I noticed she was also taking to a different guy at the same time and seemed to be dating. Eventually she got into a relationship with this other guy. My schedule freed up with summer and somehow me and this guy started talking again. Within a few days we were really hitting it off, more so than before. Lots of talk of a future and dates. He's not my usual type but his personality just won me over, and that he wanted to take thing slow. He kept telling me he wanted to wait to hang out because he didn't want to "ruin this" or go to fast. I agreed saying the guys in the past had been too pushy, another reason I liked him! He went away for a guys weekend and didn't hear from him for those 3 days but I gave him his space. I noticed that girl he had talked to before was now single again and commenting on all of this stuff. One being that she was in the same area as him and wanted to meet. They didn't but he said he was mad they couldn't meet up. Meanwhile he didn't even text me. Once he came back we started talking again then all of a sudden nothing. Then I notice this girl tagging him in posts again. I feel like I should just write him off without warning. It's starting to feel like competition and that makes me push guys away and let the other girl win. I just want to be someone's top pick, because honestly he was mine. It takes a lot for me to become interested enough to date. Just like he says he doesn't want to waste anymore time, neither do I. We are both in our late 20's. Lol Thornberg, why so mad? I was following his lead, I wanted to meet up. I am not one to chase though, I'm not to be the desperate needy clingy kinda girl. I guess that's why I'm the one who took time to stay single while she is hopping from relationship to relationship. Wonder which one of us is more serious and which will waste his time, hmmm. I'm not about to compete. |
Question: Dated a married woman but cut it off, but she still wants to be with me? Posted: 24 Aug 2016 08:17 PM PDT I was dating this married woman cause she said her husband was a mommy's boy and her in laws hated her. I felt too guilty so I cut off the affair and we both went to church asked for forgiveness and said she needed to go seek help and guidance from a counselor. I still care for her and wish her the best in life. But she followed through with her divorce and now wants to be with me even with the counseling. Should I be with her, she's 40 and I'm 22? But like I said I do care for and want the best for this woman. |

Posted: 24 Aug 2016 07:46 PM PDT Husband put a password on his phone, it used to be a 4 digit number but now its a even longer than before. I trust my husband but why would he put a password on his phone? I don't password my phone and I don't expect my husband to either plain and simple. Sorry, I made a mistake on question, it should say "why would he put a password on his phone." How do I see unlock his phone? |
Question: Could this mean its not meant to be? Posted: 24 Aug 2016 07:42 PM PDT Say in a hypothetical situation, you were engaged and happy with your relationship and life in general but coudnt stop thinking about someone that wasnt your S.O., what would you do? This person is a good friend and you get along great as friends, but both feel a certain "tension" around each other. Even apart you cant help thinking of them even though you try hard not to. What can be done at that point? |

Question: Does this seem fair? Posted: 24 Aug 2016 07:01 PM PDT My husband of 7 years usually is not the type to be jealous ever but today he got a little upset because i left the house going to the gym but on my way i changed my mind and went walking on this jogging trail by a park. I called him 30 mins after starting my walk and told him where i was and he was upset because i didnt tell him as soon as i got there. This is very unlike him! I feel so upset because i dont think i did anything wrong and do not deserve the cold shoulder he is giving me now. |

Question: Delightfully geeky questions about inter-dimensional relations.? Posted: 24 Aug 2016 06:20 PM PDT Now that I have your attention, my friends and I have been arguing forever about this: There is the same married couple in two dimensions (so a Mr and Mrs here and the same there), one spouse dies in both dimension. (say the husband here and the wife there) Say someone goes to the opposite dimension and brings the living spouse to the other, now here's the question: Would they have to get married, re-married or not at all? Theoretically, they are married to each other, just to different copies, but the original spouse is dead so they would be widow and widower, respectively. I hope I explained this well enough, a free lunch at cracker barrel is riding on your answers. Take care and thank you. Also, circumstances on both dimensions are the same, the only thing different is the spouse that's dead. |

Posted: 24 Aug 2016 04:33 PM PDT My ex wife and I divorced when our daughter was 5. We shared 50-50 custody. Things were great. WHen my daughter was 9 I met a new woman. My daughter didn't like her because she was strict with her own daughter (who is 14, 10 when we met) I started picking up on some of her parenting styles, because I liked how polite and mature she was. I got married in summer 2015 and things really went sour with my daughter. She started to bad in school, her mother turned against me, and in February 2016 a few weeks after my daughter turned 12, her mother filed in court for a change in custody. My daughter says she wants to live with her mother. She said that my new wife is mean and is calling down her mom (not true). The judge awarded my ex primary custody, I get her every second weekend and any additional time is at my daughter's discection. I've tried seeing a few different lawyers and they all say that I might have a hard time getting it changed. My ex wife has her own home, doesn't do drugs and my daughter's grades had gone up but she is so rude, disrespectful and doesn't listen. Am I battling a losing battle? |

Question: Boundaries as newlyweds? Posted: 24 Aug 2016 03:15 PM PDT My fiancé and I are getting married in 2 days. I m moving my stuff in as I wait for my place to rent out. My dilemma is that my husband to be just told me that he is going to continue to have his dad come hang out at the house while he s at work. I feel as though I will have no privacy in my new home. I m even trying to move my stuff in little by little and it s uncomfortable as his father is usually sitting on the couch watching tv. He usually leave when my fiancé gets home from work but still. I fear the idea of maybe me accidentally leaving something on the couch that I don t want anyone but my husband to see . Shouldn t this change now that we are getting married? Shouldn t I have some privacy with him as a newlywed? I thought the better thing to do is to have his dad over for dinner a couple of times a weeks when we are expecting him, instead of him just killing time at the house especially if I m alone or want to spend alone time with my husband. He s there every day and unexpectedly. I never know what to expect when I go home. |

Question: Why Am I Feeling Like This? Posted: 24 Aug 2016 02:08 PM PDT So, I have the perfect marriage. We've been married 3 years almost. My husband is a stepfather and takes care of my kids and loves them as though they are his (no one can ever tell he's not their father). He wants kids of his own, but I had my tubes burned with my 2nd child 3 months before I met him. He tells me I'm perfect the way I am genuinely. He gets turned on by just me. He's the guy who notices a beautiful woman, but never stares or even pays much attention because he has me. He's spiritual. Big time on that one. He does all the chores and errands I hate doing (almost all of them) even though he works. I stay home with the kids. So the question I have is WHY do I get upset sometimes at him for being who he is? He's the picture perfect guy who does everything right...he even follows everything by the book, never straying from it. I know it's just me and I have an issue obviously, but why do I feel like this. I've even thought about cheating on him just to shake things up and get him to act differently. I can't of course, but I do think of it from time to time. Before marriage, I was with guys who cared less about me or who cared but I really wasn't into. They were all manly men, rough and all handsome in their own way. They all had issues though. I finally found a sensitive man who cares of everyone else other than himself and I'm afraid I'm going to mess it up. HELP!!!! |

Question: I cheated on my wife with a guy? Posted: 24 Aug 2016 01:21 PM PDT First off, I'm 25 and my wife is 22. My wife and I have been married 7 months and together for 4 years. I love her with all my heart and would never want to hurt her but we haven't had sex for a couple months and I was really sexually frustrated and I went online and a guy messaged me and asked if I wanted to hook up. I was really wanting sex so I said yes and we met up and we had sex. I feel so bad about it and I'm disgusted with myself because I cheated on my wife. I'm not gay or even bi but I just really wanted sex and I didn't care who it was with. I don't ever want to have sex with a guy again and I'm never going to cheat on my wife again. I'm not still talking to that guy. I mean never again. I love her so much but I messed it up. I'm so disgusted with myself right now. I truly regret what I did. She said that hear biggest fear was to be cheated on and I did :/ she's going to be so heartbroken. I feel horrible. What should I do? Should I tell her? This happened a month ago |

Question: Does this make me a horrible person or selfish? Posted: 24 Aug 2016 12:13 PM PDT I hide a couple of things from my wife. I have over $100,000 in cash in a safety deposit box in a bank and I have over $50,000 in cash in a safe in a secluded place in my house that she doesn't know about. Does that make me mean or selfish? Basically it's there whenever I need it. |

Question: Fiancee calling off wedding less than week before ceremony? Posted: 24 Aug 2016 10:32 AM PDT I am 46 and he is 50 we have been dating for over 2 years and living together for over a year. It's both of our 2nd marriages. I was married for 17 years and his was 20 years if marriage. He calling it off because recently found out my first marriage ended because I had a affair. We never really talked about cause of our divorces just that they were our past. We are wiser from the experience is how we both have our it. Question: My husband is selfish when it comes to money ? Posted: 24 Aug 2016 08:44 AM PDT Like he has so much cash and I don't know where he gets it from. What's wrong? |
Question: I've been cheating on my wife for months now, should I tell her ? Posted: 24 Aug 2016 08:17 AM PDT Been married for a few years and the intimacy in this marriage has declined greatly. It got so bad to the point where I didn't want to talk or look at my wife for a couple weeks. I just kept to myself and kept conversations at an absolute minimum. We don't even kiss anymore, I can be affectionate or she'll say get off me or stop touching me. She kept asking me why I don't sleep with her I made excuses as to why I didn't sleep in bed with her for weeks, I slept downstairs in the basement with the door locked. So I found myself a fwb and I've been seeing her for a while now, everything's great with my fwb. She knows I'm married and the situation im in. Should I tell my wife? Because I'm certain that it will soon lead to divorce and her being removed from my house, because the house is in my name. |
Question: Wife constantly gone? Posted: 24 Aug 2016 07:56 AM PDT My wife of 15 years is nearly never home. We both work long hours and have two children, I'm fine with her work hours I understand as a nurse she needs to work. But when she isn't working she's out with her friends, both male and female. She's burning through our money on consert trips and "helping" her friends with car payments and such. Her few days off she leaves to her friends and is gone until early mornings, our daughter barely see her anymore. If she is at home she spends all her attention on facebook with the same friends. I've tried talking to her ans she becomes angry saying I'm trying to control her. I've tried to spend time witb her and her friends but I'm clearly not welcomed and nobody talks while I'm around. I feel like I'm loosing ny mind and I feel that if she isn't cheating she soon will be as this has been happening for months now. I guess I'm just asking advice. |
Question: Wife says I'm too nice and too passive. How to tell her I won't change? Posted: 24 Aug 2016 07:01 AM PDT Ok so Ive been married to a brilliant woman for 15 years now we're both 40 both work, kids you know usual family stuff. The other day me and my wife got into an argument I didn't bother talking back which I usually do anyway so she got more mad telling me, your too passive allowing me and others to walk all over you never making decisions yourself and that I'm too nice especially with other women (don't know why she brought this up) whenever they need help with something or just want to talk she thinks they hitting on me but they know I'm married. I was really shocked but that's who I am now. If I was 20 years younger I wouldn't take that sort of behaviour from nobody not even my own mom I use to be the alpha type guy doing what I want when I want. I use to be aggressive but for that reason was why I was always in short term relationship girls couldn't handle me and tried to change me but it wouldn't work, but then I met my wife I changed myself and she liked the nice me I don't think she would of like the bad boy me (she's the one that asked me out first). If I changed and became the old me I know she would leave me because before her I was dating her friend and she told her group I was too much too handle and too bad then we started talking and she told me I'm different from the stories my ex tells her. Plus my kids have made me soft too I care about my family a lot and they made me the man I am today. How do I tell her? |

Question: Two year wedding anniversary and the holidays? Posted: 24 Aug 2016 04:12 AM PDT My wedding anniversary is coming up on November 17th and we are celebrating two wonderful years! My husband and I though have been thinking, and I feel like whatever gifts are given then should be apart of Christmas as well. We also turn around and celebrate 4 years of being together on valentines day as well, and then both our birthdays fall in the first week of April. It gets a bit tiresome always trying to find a gift that tops the last. After so long, I am finding it harder to really find items that will excite and surprise him. Hes newly obsessed with hockey and boxing, so I got tickets for the game, which is right around our anniversary, a customer Jersey, and a ever-last 100 lb standing heavy bag, and gloves and wraps, all while trying to uphold the tradition of Cotton as the 2nd year symbol. Any comments or suggestions would be wonderful!!! Wow the hate is strong with this group lol. calm down ya'll, we are selfish, selfish people who love to give each other gifts, and love material objects, there is nothing wrong with that so hush up. Also we would LOVE to go on vacations and trips but I work two full time jobs, and he works a full time job and goes to school full time so any we just cant find the time to take off and do it. and also let me say as two mid 20's completely independent, adults I am proud we have are able to do things like this for each other. That we can afford it. I am not spending a couple grand on him in presents, and they are things he usually does need or want. I simply wanted to know it some couples condense the holidays and anniversaries or birthdays instead of doing the individual planning and gift buying? |
Question: What are the chances of winning custody of my newborn son? Posted: 24 Aug 2016 03:50 AM PDT My wife and I live in Hawaii. I am in the Army. She is 19 and I am 20. I will be 21 in November. My son is 6 months old. My wife has no job and makes zero income. She would have nowhere to take him to. Her father is seeing a social worker every tuesday for child abuse (violence) so I don't think a court would let her take my son to her parents's home. They are on government assistance as well (if that matters). Only place she could go is her rich aunt/uncles home in Honolulu, but I hope the court wouldn't see that as a better option over being with the father. I know I can provide for my son, but I'm not sure of my chances of winning a custody battle. I get out of the Army in 8 months and have many job prospects such as Border Patrol Agent, Train Conductor, and Diesel Mechanic (been invited to interviews) I don't want to lose my son so any help is greatly appreciated. My wife and I's relationship has just become too toxic to deal with. We can't go 1 hour without starting a new fight. |

Question: I'm at the end of my rope.? Posted: 24 Aug 2016 03:39 AM PDT My husband and I are going through a lot. We both have trust issues. He says I question him all the time. I'm confused all the time. He says I dont talk to him a lot. Everything is okay or fine as long as I'm talking about an issue I have elsewhere or my job. Or simple communication. Joking, talking about the day, kids, family (that isn't us). Pretty much every time I have brought up and issue concerning him. He doesn't see the situation as an issue but me. Just me. He says he doesn't see it like that. I can bring up a couple of scenarios. A female co-worker he was discussing our sex life and her sex life with. I found it inappropriate. So I confronted him and her. If course I was in the wrong. Because he was bragging of me. So I should have been flattered right? 😔 we split back in November. He ended up befriending a female who checked on him because of posts he was putting up on social media about us splitting and why. We didnt divorce. We reconciled and he's still confiding in her which I also find inappropriate. He says to get a female perspective is why he does it. We were attempting a vacation and this female calls on our vacation. He knew how I felt about talking to her. I feel I'm swallowing a lot and sacrificing a lot to be with him. |

Question: My husband wants me to sleep with another man? Posted: 24 Aug 2016 03:03 AM PDT Me and my husband have been together for 15 years we have only ever been with each other really. We've been together since we were 14. I'll get to the point, over the last 3 years he has developed this obsession with me sleeping with another man, first it started of as a fantasy and it was all fun and games, but it got more and more intense he started signing us up swingers sites on a few occasions I found out he started to pretended he was me and send naked pictures of random women but use my face to different men! I have lost all trust in him if I'm being honest he repulses me, I love him so much though we have 3 beautiful young children, he's currently sleeping in our spare room I don't know what to do anymore! His saying he can't help and doesn't want to do it he actually broke down crying saying he doesn't know what's wrong with him. Pleas has anybody go any advise or been through similar |
