I honestly feel so inadequate and upset. I live in a dump with mold on the walls and he lives in a two story house that even has a finished basement. He's never been over, my mom doesn't let people come over because our house is disgusting but she literally won't move anywhere else. I try to talk to her about getting a presentable house but she just screams at me and doesn't explain why, although she did say she almost paid off the mortgage ( 20 years from now) |

I did not have a chance to check Facebook because I was so beat from work. The next day, I looked on Facebook and found he changed his profile picture. The picture consisted of himself and a female friend. However, I was skeptical about the picture because he was fully clothed and she was in a bikini. I would have the same awkward feeling if any of my female friends takes a picture of us while she is fully clothed and I am shirtless. I feel that he is attracting some unwanted attention by posting the picture as a profile picture where everyone can be able to see it. People would not have any strong judgment on him because he is fully clothed. However, for the girl, I feel that it might attract unwanted attention because she is in a bikini. We weren't particularly close or even considered 'friends' I guess. The school consisted of two buildings and she was in the other building, and the two buildings rarely interact with each other if you could say. I guess I would call it 'good luck' that we both somehow were in the same places thousands of times and we would find ourselves in a conversation where she is mostly teasing me for weird things. We never acted like friends, in fact she would almost always drag me in a situation to 'irritate' me but not in an annoying way. She was just playful with me. Anyway, a month ago her brother died and she is devastated. I knew of the news from her social media. She was the realest and most fun person that ever entered my life even though we didn't see each other a lot, and it hurts me not seeing her happy and smiling. That's how I remembered her again and something inside me just wants to get close to her for real. We were never close and she probably forgot about me, but, can I actually become her friend after 2 years and very little chances of coincidentally meeting up? If so how? |

I have been supporting my friend for many months and many of the allegations are found to be untrue. I have advised my friend to maybe ask her manager for a transfer to another office whilst the disaplinary is in place. My friend is working with the co worker who have started the process of disaplinary. Everyday I am supporting my friend however she refuses to leave the office and there have now been a further two more complaints now added. We have a playful equation and don't miss a chance to take each other's case. I visited her flat today to pick up some stuff after a visit to the beach. As I had sand all over me, I asked if I could take a shower. She said she had spare towels and I could. I took off my clothes and was having a good shower when suddenly the door burst open behind me and I heard a gasp followed by loud laughter. I turned around and realized it was her roomie who had just returned home and probably wanted to use the bathroom. My friend heard the commotion and came to check and she too saw me. Probably because they were 2 in number, they were not embarrassed and decided to play along a bit more. My friend snatched my clothes from the door hook and ran away laughing. I had to make promises of certain forfeits and beg a lot, amidst several teasing comments that never ceased, before they agreed to relent and give me a towel and my clothes. I ran out of their house amidst peals of laughter, and was followed by teasing whatsapp messages. Now I have kinda fallen way behind in the teasing battle, not to mention am very embarrassed as well. Funny though the incident may be, kindly put yourself in my friend's shoes and try imagining your reaction, so that you can help me out with a way to get them back/get over this incident. More specifically, I've dealt with quite a bit of rejection and I've never had anyone to hang out with, or at least until recently. I've managed to befriend a co-worker of mine, but I'm scared of suggesting anything like hanging out for a few reasons. One, I'm terrified of rejection. Two, I have no idea what to suggest doing. Three, I'm anorexic, so I'd rather avoid having to go out to eat or whatever if at all possible. Finally, I'm scared of being perceived as "hitting on" him or being gay, when all I want is a friend. Obviously most of my hobbies (reading, walking my dog, etc.) aren't the most social. So the only thing I could really think of right now is shooting him a text and suggesting dropping by to check out the baseball game...but again, I'm terrified of being rejected on the basis of being perceived as gay or making some romantic-type gesture. We weren't serious friends, we would just say hi in the halls. 7th grade comes, and we have classes together, and talk a little more. By the end of the year, we are hanging out and going places. He would always push me, it would get me mad, but not to much, I can always take a joke. 7th grade summer comes and we hung out at most like 10 times the whole summer. After a few years, one day I went to hang out with my friends and when I came home I went straight to my room and saw the bears neck was twisted backwards and he was laying on top of the clay people. I asked my roommate if she had anything to do with this but it couldn t have been her because she just came back from work. Another time was at night. My stuffed bear was on my right but then when I went up to go downstairs I came back and he was on the other side staring at me with my blue bunny (another stuffed animal) on the floor. My roommate was out with her friends at the time and it was just me in the room. I told my friends to come over and then they started making jokes on how they will just take him and burn him. All of them tell me I should get rid of it because whenever I m not there the bear somehow gets closer everytime they aren t looking or falls over. Even my own roommate agrees with them. My mom, dad, aunts, uncles, say they never gave it to me. I don t even remember finding it anywhere. There are alot more things that happened, more creepy but they are just so freaky to mention. What should I do? |

I tried asking her yesterday to have a sleepover today but she just kinda blew it off. I know it's stupid but highschool just started and we hardly see each other anymore I just wanted to hang out. I feel so stupid and ungrateful, I still have my family. But she is the only friend I've got, the rest I used to have we hardly talk anymore. I don't know what to do. Posted: 20 Aug 2016 12:00 PM PDT I was thinking befriending said frenemy's friends, provided they are attractive and intresting. Then hang out alot with them, "stealing them away" from said frenemy. Since then, Ive been trying to avoid friend C, even though she sits at my table. Now, about 4 months later in 10th grade, she comes back apologizing to friend B, then walks by me, hits me with a bottle, and calls me "a liar", calmly. Last year, she claimed she could "press charges for slander" on the other girls but didnt because she was "a nice person." I need suggestions on what to do. Im only 15 and really dont want to go to juvie. The entire thing WAS settled last year, or so I thought. It involved her being detained in the principals office. Shes just now bringing it up. Friend B had nothing to do with it and it has since been deleted. She still thinks its me. |

My best friend got a boyfriend and it's all cool I'm happy for her it's just I have a problem with certain things. Like when I spend the night for a couple days when she comes downstairs she'll never stay down for long even if I'm there, she'll go back upstairs to her room and be on her phone but if her boyfriend is older she'll stay down a lot longer than usual. Also if I ask her to watch a couple of movies together she won't feel like but if her boyfriend is over she'll watch allll the movies in the world with him and stay up extra long for him. It's like when he's there she forgets about everything and kind of acts different. I understand the importance of boyfriend and girlfriend time I mean their together or talk to each other at least all the time and I think it's cute but I mean she doesn't have to act that way also. We're both 18. It'll even be within the same day or a couple of hours of me asking when I ask her and she'll change her mind when it comes to her. |
