I want to have fun with the recessional song for my wedding. At my fiancee's grandpa's wedding, he was read his miranda rights at the end, which I found hilarious and still chuckle to this day. I'm American but i've never been to a non Armenian wedding. In my culture, our weddings are very fancy occasions. Women typically wear floor length $500+ evening gowns and gold/diamonds so thats how i was originally going to dress but now after watching some wedding shows I realize that may be too much for a typical wedding. What kind of dresses do women usually wear to these weddings?Cocktail length? Btw I'm not saying Armenians are any better than other Americans our culture is just excessively flashy. I understand that the marriage license fee is $40, then I d need to wait at least 24 hours after getting the license to be wed. But if I decide to go to the county clerks office in Syracuse,NY and have the Justice Of The Peace marry us, how much do they charge for that service? I m curious if any one has gotten married there by them and how much they ve paid. Thanks!
