Question: Why is my mom like this? Posted: 10 Aug 2016 01:59 PM PDT My mom never cleans up the living room or kitchen. And when she does she acts like she deserves a medal or something. I have to clean the kitchen and living room because it bothers me and when I ask her to she says she only cleans up her mess. I clean up everyone's mess every day! She says she's done doing for us (my siblings) I'm 13 and I have a 10 year old sister 16 year old sister and 17 year old sister. She says she's been doing this for 18 year and she's done with it. All she does is sit and the bump out and watch tv while watching humming birds on the balcony which her "new thing" now. It's annoying how she acts like she does so much. She acts like she's just as deserving for the money my dad goes to work 12 hours for. Like does cleaning the kitchen and living room once a week and making dinner 2 times a week just as much hard work as going to work 12 hours a day?
Question: My little brother's acting like a selfentitled little prick, how do I fix that? Posted: 10 Aug 2016 01:56 PM PDT Okay, so it may be 10 days from his birthday, so that is something, but even then, he acts so poorly on the daily. As his 16 year old sibling to his 13, going on 14, year old self, he treats me like trash, my mom like trash, my grandma like trash. He threatens to break my computer, gets angry when I try to help, when I don't try to help, when Mom doesn't do what he wants, when Grandma doesn't buy him what he wants when he wants. If even the slightest thing isn't right, he'll scream in the most god awful high tone with his prepubescent voice. He acts like the world revolves around him, and the family has to bear it. Now, I myself have faults in this, as the older sibling, I'm oft to tease, but still, he gets angry if you don't even pay attention? So my question to you all, is how to teach this little kid that this attitude is not okay?
Question: Parents: Would you ever buy you daughter/son a BMW? Posted: 10 Aug 2016 01:55 PM PDT I'm 16 and I just got my license a few months ago. I usually ride the bus everyday to school so I have to wake up extremely early. I usually only get about 4-5 hours of sleep. I have been begging my mom to buy me a car but she says no. Yesterday, my cousin who is a year older than me got a BRAND NEW BMW. My aunt and uncle bought her a BRAND NEW BMW. She is a senior at high school this year and I am extremely jealous of her. She's going to be driving in a BMW to school. When I heard she got a BMW, I cried because I don't even have a car and she got a luxury car as her first car. My parents said that my aunt and uncle are crazy for buying her a BMW and that it will now affect her education. My mom said that if that was her daughter, she would rather spend that BMW money on her college education. Do you agree that this is bad parenting or do you think my parents are just greedy and selfish for not buying me a BMW like my cousin? Would you ever buy your children a BMW for their first car?
| Question: Should i join the military or go back to college to be a nurse? Posted: 10 Aug 2016 01:54 PM PDT im 21 years old and my dad is forcing me to get a PHD in the medical field but i dont want to. when i was a senoir in HS i told them i want to be a pharmacist only cuz i was applying to a school far away but i didnt get accepted. | Question: His nose won't stop bleeding. What should I do???PLEASE HELP? Posted: 10 Aug 2016 01:47 PM PDT My brother's nose has been bleeding for a while now. Our parents aren't home he doesnt want me to call them or an ambulance. He's been pinching it but it just keeps pouring blood, its all over the floor in the bathroom and all over his bed. He tried tilting his head up and said it made him lightheaded so he laid down. Now its coming out of his mouth too like he's choking on it, where is all the blood coming from and how to make it stop? What should we do? |
Question: How can convince my father to drive me back home? Posted: 10 Aug 2016 01:44 PM PDT So my parent are divorced and so I'm spending some time at my dads place but his partner lives with her mom and she is being mean to mean making me cry and feel bad about myself feeding my depression and anxiety so I told my dad and he said he would talk to her about it but I have been here already for a week longer than I want to and now he planned me to stay another week without me knowing. So now I'm in a unhealthy position with my mental health witch I have had many problems with so how do I convince home to drive me back home so I can get to my mum and dog and therapist to help calm me from well the woman's rude behaviour twards me . I get that it seems petty of me for him to drive me 8 hours just so I can be happy but I just can't help but feel like soon it will be more than just verbal and become physical.
Question: Am I wrong to not comfort my mom? Posted: 10 Aug 2016 01:42 PM PDT My brother is my moms favorite it's no secret. She claimed that she had to be tough on me and my sis bc we were her competition and if she wasn't then we'd turn into sluts & disrespect her. She had a different approach w/my bro. She spoiled him so much that he just did whatever he wanted w/o thinking of repercussions. Today he's a Coke head who's been getting arrested since the age of 9. He stabbed when he was 9 & I was 12. Of course she comforted him in this situation & told me to tell the doctor/cops that it was an accident. Last night my brother and mom got into a huge argument. He cursed her out & told her that she's the reason he's the way he is bc she was never hard on him. I know she's hurt by this but I can't help feeling a sense of satisfaction. She tried so hard to prevent my sis and I from being the ones to disrespect her when all along it was my brother. He's never had any respect for her but now she's accepting it. She calls me about it a lot but I can't pity her. Is it wrong for me to feel this way??

Question: What to do about an emotionally manipulative mother? Posted: 10 Aug 2016 01:19 PM PDT So my mom is very manipulative and controlling, but I'm only 15 and I can't move out. Whenever she buys me anything she uses it against me in an argument. And she's always telling me that she said something 5 times that I never heard her say. I'm always at her beck and call, yet she claims I don't help and I'm 90 percent of the reason she wants to move out. Honor roll isn't good enough, and she's always telling me I don't try hard enough. And whenever I speak up about it she accuses me of being defensive. She will stand there hollering at me and belittling me, but is somehow always the victim. I'm a pretty good kid. I don't drink or so drugs or go to crazy parties and I make pretty good grades. I just cannot take this. I have a headache from some of her bullshit earlier today.
Question: What do I do with my daughter? Posted: 10 Aug 2016 01:18 PM PDT my daughter is 16 and is "doing it" with boys and older men in her bedroom. she is on the pill so I know she's good but she's bringing in several different boys and men ranging from 13 to 22 I estimate. She told me now to invade her space and I don't and I love her and hope she never leaves me.
Question: How to find half siblings without a last name? Posted: 10 Aug 2016 01:16 PM PDT Hello. My mother had 5 kids (all half siblings. The two oldest were taken by their fathers when they were children and never to be seen again. My mother passed away when I was 8 so there is no way to find more info. My other siblings that I know are trying to find them as well but with no luck. It's hard when we know the first name but don't know the last name. I was told I could call the social security office and I could give them my mother's SSI number. Then they will be able to let me know all the names of the children she had. Does anyone know if this works? Is there any other way that I can find them. I tried Ancestry.com but came up with nothing. Thanks!
Question: Kidnapping prank gone wrong, what should we do???? (Please Help)? Posted: 10 Aug 2016 01:16 PM PDT My brothers and I were filming a kidnapping prank on our cousin where we snatch him, ties him up, and toss him in the trunk and drive around for a while and act like we were about to kill him. Anyway, when we were taking him back out of the trunk I was holding his legs and my one of my brothers was holding his shoulders (his hands were tied in front of him. Anyway Luke kept moving and like kicking and fighting and my brother lost his grip and Luke's head fell back and hit the concrete. He seemed fine so we continued the prank. He was angry, as expected but like an hour later he was complaining about his head hurting a lot. Then he started throwing up, he said it was because he had such a bad headache. A little while ago he passed out and was out for a few seconds then I got up and passed out again. What can we do (WITHOUT GETTING INTO TROUBLE)? It was just a prank, people do them all the time, it's not like we dropped him on purpose so please don't be mean. If we take him to the hospital we might tell. I'm 17 btw not a tw@ he*
Question: How do I tell if my mother is being abusive? Posted: 10 Aug 2016 01:06 PM PDT I'm a thirteen year old girl. I can't tell if what my mother is doing is abuse or not because she continues to tell me that it's just proper discipline, but I'm a little unsure of that. I'll use this one story as an example, there are many more like it that I don't wish to discuss. Last night, I was in my room reading a book. I had recently injured my neck, not that badly, but enough that a heating pad was on my neck. My mom walked in about fifteen minutes later, asking me to pick up some things in my room. I told her that my neck kind of hurt still and if I could maybe do it later. Also, it was almost midnight so I was kind of tired. She shook her head and just asked me to do it again. I groaned in protest, but got up and began cleaning anyway. For some reason, this angered my mom and she took my iPad and iPhone off of my dresser. When I asked what she was doing, she said I couldn't "talk to her like that". When I argued I hadn't really done anything, she got completely pissed and pulled my hair to the point of it aching and hit me in the back with my iPad and phone. She hit me with the same things on my shoulder as well. I put my hands up to protect myself, however, she pulled my hands away and told me that I should never put my hands up to her and stepped on my back and began pulling my hair and hitting me again. There are bruises all over me. She left for work early in the morning, so I have my seem her since. So, discipline or abuse?
Question: I feel like I'll never live an adult life? Posted: 10 Aug 2016 01:05 PM PDT My parents sheltered me from the day they found out that I was diagnosed with aspergers syndrome and I don't have it that bad it's very mild, most people that meet me consider me normal. Anyway my mother never let me hang out with friends growing up, I had to sneak out to do so or I would have no social life at all, I could never go anywhere besides school and home and she refused to let me drive or get my permit or license. She says that there are things I can't do although I worked 3 jobs in my life. I'm 20 years old now and the most adult thing I've done for myself was get into college which starts next month. She either talks to me like I'm stupid or a 5 year old and I'm sick of it. I feel as if she wants me to live the life of a child and I feel as if I'll never marry or start a family because she'll prevent it.

Question: My dad hit me, what do I do? Posted: 10 Aug 2016 12:55 PM PDT Usually my dad just yells at me, and threatens me but this time he hit me in the face and made me stumble backwards and then tried to hit me again but I ran to my room. Heres the thing, I have bad anxiety so I CANT call social services, I cant speak to strangers about stuff like this. Also I have 2 brothers [ who dont get abused] will they get taken away too? And what will happen to my dad?
Question: This Means He's Not Seriously Interested? Posted: 10 Aug 2016 12:50 PM PDT His grandma and I live in the same apt complex and her grandson comes there often, the thing is he's made excuses to text me like did my grandma make it up ok? When he could just call his grandma. He's asked randomly to send me exam prep material online he's studying for too. In the beginning I asked to go out and it didn't work out but we became friends again then he asked me to go eat, I've seen him glance in my apt direction when he goes to his grandmas. When I called him out from all the signs knowing he had a gf and I said a guy who has a gf can't be interested in me and he said he said he wasn't and that he had a gf he was happy with. One day he was giving me gym advice and said "don't you have a bf to teach you all this?" and i catch him glancing over and looking a lot? What's his deal? His parents also look and smile and fidget when they see me.People say friendly but why would he stare and look secretly?? Also, i don't think the gf relationship is serious cause no photos together on fb or ig and his relationship status is hidden and they've been together for 4 years already. He also doesn't go to his grandmas when my car isn't parked and i'm out of town(my roommate tells me) grandma isn't sick or anything. He comes 3x a week to the apts. Can it still happen between us? when we got into the fight I said don't message me again and i told him he's the one chasing me. After the fight a year has passed and he saw me outside and looked and smiled at me. We're both 26 btw When he waits for his grandma to open the door( in front of my kitchen window) he fidgets with his phone and tries hard to not look at me but comes out facing me and looking to see if I'm there. His grandma was also worried when I was gone for a month and went out of her way to find out where I was by sending our neighbor to ask my roommate where i was. He used to come dressed in shorts and a t-shirt before the fight, now he's dressing better in jeans and a shirt
Question: Teen night terrors, what should we do? PLEASE HELP (5 stars)? Posted: 10 Aug 2016 12:49 PM PDT My teen brother lives at my house with my wife and I, while my parents sort out their devorce, custody and legal stuff, but for the past two weeks he has been waking up screaming and shouting every night. It usually happens like twice a night. He gets to bed on time, i keep a close eye on him during the day and my wife and i cant seem to figure out whats going on with him. I think he might be affected by our parents and the custody issue even though we all agreed to keep him out of it. For the first couple nights i would go in and try to talk to him or wake him up and he wouldnt get up, eventually he calms back down to a calm sleep. After doing some research and asking online, I am convinced he's having night terrors due to the stress. I'm having trouble trying to help him cope bc all the research I've done on night terrors seem to related to a phase with small children. What can we do to help him?
Question: How do I get revenge on my sisters? Posted: 10 Aug 2016 12:41 PM PDT I know I'm going to sound really petty and stupid but I'm done my sisters BS! So hear me out. Because of the hot weather my siblings have been coming down to the basement where I sleep. It's August now so I go to school which means it's just them and our niece as our parents are working. Whenever there in the basement they lay our niece on my bed. During the weeks that I have been in school my niece has been making a mess on my bed. The messes can be Nutella on my bed sheets and pillow. Crushed crackers on my bed. Milk, water or even ******* pee on my bed! I've told them many times to not lay her on my bed but I guess since I'm the youngest they could give less of a ****. What's more is they just wait for to get home to clean the mess! My parents aren't much help since they don't even bother to scold my siblings about taking care our nieces mess. So yesterday I've finally had enough. Their lazy asses let my niece **** on my bed! Guess what? They didn't clean the mess and had me do it when I got home. I also know that my niece pooped on my bed a long time ago as it was dry... I cried a little while after because I was just so done and angry with them. I know they probably won't stop laying my niece on my bed so I just want to do something to get back at them. Sorry if there were a lot grammar mistakes I'm raging a lot right now...
Question: Are parents the best courses of what people see you like? Posted: 10 Aug 2016 12:16 PM PDT Are parents the best souses of how people see you in public? I think that the way I see myself very much differs from the way other people see me. I am surprised how many bad traits my parents see in me that I think I do not see and do not see good traits that I see. I have many flaws in my personality but I see different ones then my parents. I wonder if my parents see my true personality. is this what im really like. my parents see flaws that I thought i only had as a kid, they think I'm lazy, not smart, not responsible and stubborn. Those are a bunch of really bad traits and i didn't think I had any of those or not to a noticeable extent. I just wanted some outside perspective on what is my worst quality during a interview and I cannot say any of those. my friends choose not to answer, they don't want to hurt my feelings, others just say they haven't known me long enough the things I did see in myself they did not see. so so parents often see character traits from childhood and apply to adult hood even if they are not there? Is there any way to get my parents to see that I do not have those traits anymore? I just hate when they talk on the phone with their friends and say well you know how stubborn or irresponsible my daughter is (me). What can I do? I am really trying to be hardworking, responsible and not stubborn but I think I cant go any farther. I asked them how am i stubborn they said I don't take all their advice.
Question: I HATE MY BROTHER!!!!? Posted: 10 Aug 2016 12:14 PM PDT Okay, so my brother, Micheal is 9 years old, and I am 15 years old. My brother always abuses me, and I hate it when my mom says, "Oh, but he is so little, you need to act mature." OH, so mature means letting your little brother punch you for no reason? We were just at a store and he kept scratching me, he got mad because my mom yelled at him for making a mess, so then my brother started stepping on my new shoes, and pushing me. When I asked my mom help she said just go away then, stay by the car. LIKE SERIOUSLY, she doesn't yell at my brother for hurting me but she yells at me for asking help? I am really scared of my brother, one time he was chasing me with a butter knife because I bumped into him and made him drop something. When I told my mom he was chasing me with a knife, she laughed. I am scared for my life, I am living in fear.
Question: My sister in law is greedy what do I do?!? Posted: 10 Aug 2016 12:06 PM PDT My sister in law lives with my husband and I. She doesn't work & She eats ALL of our food. If I buy cereal the box/milk will empty within 2 days along with other foods. Idk where she's putting all of it but the **** needs to stop. I feel like she eats bc she sees food. On days where the cupboards/fridge is full she eats like 10men! I've talked to her more than once about eating in portions. Groceries aren't cheap & she doesn't pay for them at all. I searched her room once to see if she was storing food in her closet bc it's impossible for someone to eat so much stuff in one day! She's 21 she should know better. I hide food in my room now & I label my things in the fridge. Only 3 people live here! I feel like I'm in college again rather than my own house with my husband. I'm thinking of getting a mini fridge or putting a lock on the refrigerator. I just don't know what to do. I can't spank her. She obviously doesn't care.
Question: Why are bullies rewarded for their behavior? Posted: 10 Aug 2016 11:56 AM PDT My daughter is 7 years old and she does not have a mean bone in her body she's the sweetest and most caring little girl ever, she's sensitive to other people's feelings and she shares everything she has. she couldn't hear good cause she needed ear tubes and I didn't find that out from her pediatrician until she was about 4 so she didn't have real good language and I was always asked by the kids in her class "why can't she talk" or walking by with their parents"that kid is in my class but she can't talk my neice and nephew will call names like "ugly" and "you can't talk" and hurtful things that are even hurtful to me, I can only imagine what a 7 year old must feel like, but they don't get in trouble for saying these things, they just get rewards,my daughters grandmother will go out and buy my nephew and neice things and bring them back and won't have anything for my daughter and same with my nieces and nephew mother. I've been on the verge of tears lately not knowing what to do, my daughter will ask my "why didn't they get me anything" "I guess they don't love me anymore" and I really don't know what to tell her, that's the problem with the world, we reward bullies, they are the teachers pet, that's why there are so many suicides, the kind people are being sick of being so nice and it gets them no where but if they are mean for a day it gets worse and they get hit... If you can help me as a single mother I'd appreciate it, having some trouble gofundme.com/singlemom8809
Question: Am I spoild? Why do my friends treat me that way? Posted: 10 Aug 2016 11:51 AM PDT I'm 14 most of my clothes are Under Armour, Nike, and Adidas! I have my own TV, My own room, I have a an IPhone 6s as well as my own MacBook Air and a canon 700d(I do need it because I actually work as little kid photographer, and I need the laptop so I can develop the pictures) Most of my friends say I'm spoiled because I get everything I want but what nobody understands is I worked hard to earn what I have! My parents do have rules and if I break them there will be consequences! And I'm aware of that! I know that if I'm late to curfew(21:00) for every minute I'm late it's a day without a phone! Like if I come home at 21:07 I'm not getting my phone for a week... I hate that when I get something new even if I paid for it myself my friend would go:"your spoild I wish I had your parents" like what??? Same thing with my older brother(16) but he's a guy so he's friends don't do the same.....
Question: Guys, would you let your mother in law do this to you? Posted: 10 Aug 2016 11:48 AM PDT My wife's mother Joy is spending 2 weeks with us as her house is getting some major work done on it. We are enjoying every minute of her visit. Image how it feels for my wife and myself to come home to a delicious hot meal every day after work. He desserts are do die for. The house is cleaned and the clothes and dishes are washed. One day after a hard drive on the freeway I was very tired when I got home. Joy at one time owned a massage parlor and asked me if I would like a massage. It sounded like a good idea. Joy said I will give you a full body massage. I will massage every part of your body and I mean EVERY PART. OH MY GOD. I don't think I want her to do that. Trying to get out of it, I asked my wife if she was OK with her mother giving me a full body massage. My wife said, go ahead. It will relax you. Guys, would you let your mother in law give you a full body massage? OR Could I be reading more into what she said than what she meant?
Question: Does my ex husband still have feeling for me? Posted: 10 Aug 2016 11:44 AM PDT I received an inheritance and very much wanted to invest it for my retirement. However all the financial advisors I talked to were way too expensive. I know a guy that is a financial genius that could help me but I was afraid to call him. He is my ex husband Joe. We remained friends after the divorce. However he has moved on with his life. Several times I picked up the phone to call him and asked for his help but I couldn't do it, I was afraid he would reject me. Finally it took all the courage I had, I called and explained what I wanted. He said lets meet for lunch tomorrow and I will help you get started. I was in for another surprise. He took me to lunch at Ruth Chris. It was the best restaurant meal I had ever had. It should be for their prices and Joe would not let me pay for it. We had a great meal and great conversation and he gave me great investment advice. He insisted I meed him at Ruth Chris every month to review my investments. Each time he insisted he pay for the meal and he never charged me for his investment advice. That was over a year ago and my investments have done great. Each time I offered to pay for the meal. He said "I don't charge friends for helping them". My friends that I told about this told me he wanted me back. They said no guy will take you to such an expensive place as Ruth Chris once a month unless he had feeling for you. Are my friends right or is he just being a nice guy? Why do you think he is doing this for me?

Question: Am I right to be mad at my cousin? Posted: 10 Aug 2016 10:55 AM PDT My cousin is married and not planning to divorce anytime soon. She lives apart from her husband and has a boyfriend. She and her husband do not have a custody arrangement but she sees their 13 month old daughter occasionally. Although no one in the family agrees with her being married and having a boyfriend, what we really can't understand is how my cousin is allowing her boyfriend to get close to her daughter. She is always posting pictures of them together, posting statuses of things like "[Baby] laughs at [boyfriend]'s jokes." Recently, she posted pictures of her boyfriend kissing the baby. The family and I are livid. I know we can't control what my cousin does with her boyfriend, but is it fair to be angry at her for involving the baby? Most of the family want the husband to have full custody of the baby so he can control who the baby is around. Cousin is 23, known for jumping from one guy to the next and wanting to marry every guy she's with. I'm sure the boyfriend is a nice guy but I feel that kissing a baby that isn't yours is not your place, unless you are at least engaged to or married to the mother. I guess I just want to know if I have grounds for being mad at her or not.

Question: My cousin got a BMW. Should I be jealous? Posted: 10 Aug 2016 10:47 AM PDT I'm 16 years old and I just got my license a month ago. I've been begging my parents to get me a car so I can now drive myself and I to school in the morning so we don't have to ride the bus anymore. My dad said he will buy me a car but my mom won't let him. My mom said students should ride the bus to school. Yesterday, my cousin who is 17 got a BMW. I felt really upset because her parents bought HER A BMW while I can't even get a car. After my mom saw the picture of my cousin's BMW, she is now changing her mind and probably buying me a car. But she asked me if I want a Honda Civic or a Honda Accord. I told her I wanted a Mercedes Benz because Hondas are ugly. My mom rolled her eyes at me in response. I just don't think it's fair! Why does my cousin get a BMW and I can't get a Benz but I can have a ugly Honda?? My parents already have 2 cars already. My mom has a Mercedes Benz ML350 and my dad has a Honda Civic. My couisn's dad has a BMW too but her mom does not drive. Do I have the right to be jealous of her? Her parents works at a Chinese resturant and my parents work at a Chinese resturant too.
Posted: 10 Aug 2016 10:46 AM PDT I was put in bed rest 2 months ago because I'm pregnant and high risk. My sister has taken my daughter(9yrs old) with her( lives 5 mins away) so I can be calm and stay in bed. When ever she needs something big I of course provide my sis with the money but my sis has taken on all the little stuff like movies with her kids sandals if my daughter likes one when she is out with her. I still have 2 more months to go and my sister has hinted that I should let her claim her in her taxes because she has her. Am I I fair for saying no?

Question: Character reference letter over false domestic abuse claim help? Posted: 10 Aug 2016 10:22 AM PDT My father was charged with domestic violence after my step mother alleged that he choked her and threw her around the living room durimgan argument when he because he was leaving to stay with a friend ( because my step mother had been having an affair and the wife of the man she was sleepin with came to the house to confront her over her affair two days prior). There was no bruising on her as per officers notes and we ll as their youngest daughter had come down because her mother had been shouting. My father was arrestrd now has been charged, and I want to write a character reference for him. I have never seen my father raise a hand to any woman or even his voice especially to his wife, it s not in his nature. They want two years as it is violence against a woman and he had been charged with assault over 20 years ago after my mother s boyfriend had hit me in front of him.
Question: How do you deal with parents that do not approve of my engagement? Posted: 10 Aug 2016 10:15 AM PDT I am a 28 year old man engaged to my beautiful bride to be who is also 28 as well. We both met a little over a year ago. Sparks were flying between us when we started dating. We are both into nerdy things, we have the same kind of dark humor, we love plays, and love going out and having adventures together. It was about 3 months in the relationship when I started seeing her as she could be my future wife. I never had a really good track record when it comes to dating. The longest I have ever dated someone was 3 months. The reasons varied but most of em were crazy to be honest. So it was nice to meet someone who was somewhat sane and we get along so well. We started hanging out a lot just her and I. We occasionally visited each others parents and her family absolutely loves me and embraces me as apart of the family, mine, not so much... Unlike her family, mine have a social status. My Mom and Dad are pastors of a small congregation that we meet up at a hotel every Sunday night. I have been apart of this small ministry for 16 years. My Mom also ran for a political office in which she lost. So, I have been living in a fish bowl for awhile and its something I am used to. So to make a long story short, I am now engaged. Her family is ecstatic however mine aren't so much. They told me we didn't get to know her as much as we should. They said they don't accept her as one of their own and that really hurts me...Why can't they just be happy for me?! What is wrong with my family?!

Posted: 10 Aug 2016 09:43 AM PDT So I went for a physical yesterday and I was with my brother and sister. This lady took both my brother and sister into another room and took me into a separate one. She took my height, weight, and did a "finger prick". She poked something into my middle finger and collected the blood. But when I asked my brother and sister if she did it to them, they said no. I have no idea why they did it to only me, can anyone help me figure it out? Thanks :)

Question: My parents think I am a slutty girl.? Posted: 10 Aug 2016 09:36 AM PDT i have a boyfriend for 2 years. I m 16 years old. My grades are fine but not as great as my sister s cause she s a scholar but I belong to the honors class in my school and my boyfriend and I are classmates. I am still a virgin. He sometimes have dinner with us and is a big help to our family because he drives me home from school which gives my parents a peace of mind that I wont have to walk or something. He stays longer at our house and we stay in the couch and talk about things and laugh, use our phones like normal teenagers would do. We dont do anything stupid. Just a bunch of teenagers who are enjoying each others company but everytime my boyfriend goes home my dad would tell me things like i doubt you wont be getting married early" and its something serious and sometimes its "do you even study your lessons or is it just always about him?" its like in a very annoying way and he does it on purpose. One night I had to walk my boyfriend to his motorcycle, my dad would talk behind my back and tell my sister that I d probably be getting pregnant at an early age. It is really disappointing because we are not doing anything wrong and I pretty much know whats wrong and whats right and my boyfriend is a good guy and he respects my parents he always greets them everytime and my god, am i scared of being pregnant at 16. I dont really plan on making that happen. It just ruins my life because I am really doing good but my parents are just idk

Question: Your thoughts on my 28-year-old brother who had me ostracized? Posted: 10 Aug 2016 06:15 AM PDT My eldest sibling is actually a macho man who has assaulted family members and gotten in trouble with the police for it, has wanted to have sex with our mum, has an unhealthy obsession with our sister, throws a tantrum if he doesn't get whatever he wants, holds a grudge against parents, and even charges parents for money since he doesn't work. But he has gone to extremes like making others perceive me as a "macho man" with lies about me that he does ever since parents took him and teen siblings a program where males are made metrosexual. He has that childish concept of copy cat when I have always been the non-violent, self-conscious, introverted male who preferred following trends well before he even got that idea. I don't even relate myself to manly man or macho man. It's because of his actions, I'm now ostracised from it since he got others to perceive me as a macho man and a bad person. I'm literally ridiculed by a number of ladies and metrosexuals for being at certain places and especially if I get a style cut. I have always been a person who is non-violent, self-conscious, introverted and had preferences to following trends well before he even had that idea. This is ostracism that should be placed on him, not me. My eldest sibling is just a man with unkempt hair who only wanted to have me ostracized so he can feel special since a lot of others were doing it. He was never a metrosexual nor would it even suit his identity before he attended. This is not fair.

Question: Do you think I should be punished for these things? Posted: 10 Aug 2016 03:01 AM PDT When I was in my junior year of high school I liked a girl who had a boyfriend. However I never tried to steal her or even confessed that I liked her. Also, when I was helping paint the wall for art class, a girl called be an idiot because she thought that I did it wrong but the teacher told me that I did it right, I just walked away. Also, at the messianic fellowship I go to a woman said shame on me because I woke up at 10:30, however people go in their late all the time, they just don't admit it. Also I have screamed in my house a few times. Once was because my Aunt died and my dad said some bad things and another because he said that the guy who Trump made fun of was disabled deserved it. Do you think that I deserve punishment for these things?

Question: Is it normal for my family to tell me im fat everyday? emotionaly abusive grandparents? Posted: 10 Aug 2016 02:39 AM PDT my parents and sisters tell me this jokingly. but it does hurt me. they say im "too sensitve,"but i already know im fat! you dont have to incorporate it into a joke. My grandparents though.(mostly my grandpa) the say it to hurt me and damage me emotionaly. my gp said and i quote!" your body is so big, like sumo wrestler, but your older sisters, very sexy..."(making body shapes with his hands-_-) i tried to tell my mom about it while we were shopping and she started crying while saying"he's like that" on facebook i posted a picture and i got three coments about my weight. one from my uncle saying " join the bigges loser and lose some weight!"-seemed like nice advice to him. not to me. my family is philipino and my parents say OUR people tells it how it is and back when my parents were young people got nicknames for how they looked. my mom was whitelady cause she shewas light andpretty, but her sister was called ugly, because she couldnt compare to my mother. thats horrible. guess who i am!? PIGLET. I dont know where i or my parents went wrong.my 2 older sisters are curvy and me and my younger sister are freaking blobs. "hard headed" was my moms reason. also my grandpa makes up reasons to yell at me and my younger sister, but not the other 2. for example while watch a movie late at night my thin older sister made ugghhh noises and my grandpa went up to me and yelled at me questioning why i was doing that sound.right when i said it was my sister he said "oh" and walked away.
Question: Why does my grandmother wake up at the drop of a pin? Posted: 10 Aug 2016 02:36 AM PDT When I stay up really late or wake up really hungry I typically want a small snack to keep me going. Fruit is a good choice. My grandmother lives with my family and the smallest sounds in the kitchen, or if I turn on a light (how does she notice through her closed door?) wakes her up. I m kind of on a diet so I don t always eat enough during the day. My grandmother seriously will get out of bed and come to the kitchen to question why I am eating at 2 am or 4 am. I feel offended for her seriously putting pressure on me for eating when I am hungry (sometimes I m really starving, too) and don t get how she wakes up so easily. Is it normal for a grandparent to even wake up so easily? I sleep easily through the night. If someone, say, crinkled a bag by my room that wouldn t make me jolt awake. Does this mean she has regular sleeping problems? I don t get how she finds it appropriate to come pressure me in the middle of the night, for no reason. At least I m eating fruit and not junk food, even
Question: Parents want me to leave at 16? Posted: 10 Aug 2016 02:18 AM PDT Let me preface this with the fact that this all stems from him catching me smoking pot. Once. I had an argument with my dad last week that ended with me being told: "How do you feel living somewhere where no one wants you" and that he wants me to move out of the house. I assumed he was just angry and frustrated so I didn't really take it seriously but now a week later he still is acting exactly the same, even tried to hit me at one point. My mom has said nothing about the matter. What should I do in this situation?
Question: How do I tell my parents that I'm not graduating? Posted: 10 Aug 2016 01:58 AM PDT I suppose to graduate this august but I have failed 4 modules last semester, because I failed to submit my assigments. I don't have sufficient credits of the 240 required to graduate. I only have 195. I would need to repeat another semester this fall to try to pass them and graduate next year. I feel so horrible and I don't know how to tell this to my parents. They really look forward to my graduation, I fear they will be angry and disappointment in me when I tell them about this. They have spend so much money for my education and I feel like I let them down and every one around me who thinks I'm graduating this year. I hate myself so much and I know that there are no excuses for my failure. I accept to repeat the whole again and not graduate but I feel so scared and anxious to tell this to my parents. How do I gain the courage to tell them? When do you think it's the right time to tell them? and how should I tell them about this. I need serious answers. Please.
Question: I want to move out of my parents house but they don t want me to - what should I do? Posted: 10 Aug 2016 01:49 AM PDT I am a 19 year old female. I want to move out. I have a lot of money saved up, going to college, and have a good part time job. I WANT TO MOVE OUT. My parents are poor, and my dad is a lazy drunk. My mom works in another city and lives with my aunt, and my mom wants me to get a one bedroom apartment with my dad while I go to college and pay most of the rent. I don t want to live with my dad, especially in such a small space. He doesn t work or do anything. He just eats all day and drinks all night. It makes me upset to sees him like this but it makes me sad and it s not a good energy for me. I don t know how to tell my mom that if I m going to pay rent, I would much rather just move out with my friends in a bigger place (have my own bedroom) than share a **** place with my dad because he doesn t want to work. My dad is killing himself and doesn t listen to my advice. What should I do? I don t want to hurt their feelings but I am emotionally exhausted from my family
