Question: Can you fix my grammar please? Posted: 09 Jun 2015 01:56 PM PDT I am going to try and get back into writing I used to write all the time now I rarely ever do I used to also write diary entries every day and now I have not in such a long time but it is defiently something I want to get back into because its a way I can express myself and its a way I can let out my feelings and it makes me feel better afterwards. But I stopped a long time ago because my mom read everything I have ever wrote and ever since then I have not felt safe to write anything private down on paper she may see and read. I know I could put it into a word document but other people are on my computer sometimes so I don't think that would be a good idea. That is great your daughter is buying a house I am happy for her! I wanted to move in with Taylor & Caitlin but now that Caitlin is heading to college and Taylor is most likely moving it does not look like it will happen and my parents also want me to work for a year first before even considering moving out and now when I can finally move out I have nobody to leave with which makes me scared because I do not want to live by myself I am very scared to! My family wants me to learn how to drive but I also have a huge fear of driving but I know it something I will have to learn eventually but I am just super scared. Not many people know this about me and it is kind of hard to say but I hate pretty much everything about my body and whenever I see others I feel really fat and ugly compared to them. |

Posted: 09 Jun 2015 01:48 PM PDT Ok so when I'm telling my reasons of hating her I want people who are above the avarege to answaer me ... Any way this is how a day like every day in my life goes with my motger...:my mother wake me up at 6:40 to go to scholl and when I don't wake up she screams at me ... (This is normal not to wake up in 6:40 in the morning)after I wake up I go to scholl a few hours later I come back from school and like every other 16 years old boy I wanna eat... So I open my friege and there is nothing... No food my motger Dosnt give a **** about me so my friends is empty ... (When I go to friends they have food waiting for them and I really feel jalucy for that)I never eat right I allways take out a frozen bad tars shnitzel like a homeless cause my mother Dosnt give a **** ...so I eat my frozen shnitzel after that I play on my play station for like a hour than my mom comes home... First thing she asks me is how was at school? I say ok ... That she says do u need privat lessons? (Cause my own motger think I'm stupid... ) I say no I'm getting good grades (and role my eyes) then she asks me if I'm not lying ... After all this talk about how she THINKS I'm a failure she tells me to do laundry to wash the dishes and clean the leaving room and my room and the citchen while she eats from the food that her boyfriend makes for her (his food is discussing so I don't eat from it) I tried to talk to her about what she is foing wrong and she screams at me for not anything for the house wt do u think? |
Question: How do I overcome feeling guilt about childhood from my parents divorce? Posted: 09 Jun 2015 01:47 PM PDT As a kid my parents divorced and my mother frequently held me back from my father when he started dating again. The divorce was ugly and as a kid I didn't know any better then to believe all my mother was saying. As a teenager I came to realize her perceptions were not accurate and became close to my Dad and step-mom. Yet, I have this guilt about the 7 years I was led by my mother to believe the false info she was giving me and thus seldom sought out my father. How can I overcome this guilt? I should add that the reason I feel guilt is because I didn't speak up at age 11 and say "Mom, stop talking bad about Daddy and instead believed her until I was 14." |
Question: Difficult relationship with mother - should I cut off the contact with her? Posted: 09 Jun 2015 01:43 PM PDT I have difficult relationship with my mom, mainly since I left home for university at 18. It was not bothering me that much, because I was always very close to my dad. My mom did not get involved much. She was always aside and was not really interested in what happens in my life - and even if she asked, she did it in such manner that the last thing I wanted was to open up to her Two years ago my dad passed away and now it is only me and my mom (I don't have any siblings). Our relationship is very difficult... often she makes me feel responsible for her (paying her bills online), she does not cope with house maintenance and if I have a problem, she bursts into tears... not to say that after university, I was unemployed for 6 months and she did not even ask me how I do financially... In theory, there is no abuse... but I just don't feel my mother cares for me. I am 26 and I start feeling that I deserve "better mother", who tries to help me with her advice and caring when the time is difficult. Instead, most of the conversations make me feel that I am absolutely not important to her... I tried to talk to her but she is not responsive at all and my trial to encourage her to try counselling (I thought her behaviour could be related to the death of my dad) but she refuses. Should I cut off the contact? Because of her, even though I am mature woman I feel like 3-year old girl who needs attention ... |
Question: I need help. I am 13 and I have a 8 year old brother .? Posted: 09 Jun 2015 01:38 PM PDT Problem is during the summer my mom works and so I am stuck at home to watch my brother from 7:00 am 6:00 pm i don't really mind considering I babysit but he doesn't help do any chores at all in order for me to keep my phone I do chores to earn My phone which I don't mind but my little brother has a tablet and he doesn't work at all to earn his tablet my mom said he's supposed to but never really enforces it I'm not trying to be the mother here but I just don't understand while I'm in the kitchen doing dishes and scrubbing away he's in his room watching TV I have been doing chores such as rinsing off my own dishes or cleaning my own room since I was 5 he is 8 and doesn't do anything how can I convince him to do his chores when my mother is at work |
Question: How can I convince my boyfriend to send his son to live with his mother? Posted: 09 Jun 2015 01:34 PM PDT We've been in a relationship for nearly 2 years He has a 15 year old son. I don't like his son. He uses his sexual abuse as an excuse for all of his bad behaviours. He causes many problems and stress for my boyfriend. He has made my boyfriend so angry which causes him to beat his son, which made my boyfriend guilty & depressed for weeks. Then he will waste our money on his son to make him feel less guilty. I tell him to send his son back to his mother. I heard she's not an alcoholic anymore and she's single again. This would be good for everyone. But he says no and says "he's my son". He isn't a very good son! How can I convince him? I don't want to marry or have kids when his son is still with us. |
Question: Is this normal at my age? Posted: 09 Jun 2015 01:32 PM PDT A couple of weeks ago, some family members came over to our house to stay for 2 weeks. It's was my uncle his wife and his daughter (my cousin). I was really excited that they were going to come because we don't see them much and they are fun to be around. Well anyways I'm not saying that I'm attracted my cousin I'm just saying that she is really pretty. So one day it was getting late and we were all in the family room having funny and she was wearing these tights that were really see through (I was able to see her underwear) and I was really getting turned on. I knew that it was wrong so I stopped looking. But that wasn't all of my problems, the second week everyone went out but I had to stay home to type a essay (yay...) and I notice her luggage in the other room when I walked by. In my mind I said "Do you think she has any of her underwear in there?" I went towards the luggage and started opening it slowly so nothing will get out of place. I was looking through it and found like 7 pairs of underwear and I didn't start doing weird stuff like fapping to it or anything all I did was sniff a couple of them and that's it. After that I put them back and I felt really turned on. They might come back in a few weeks and I knew what I did was wrong but I don't know how I will control myself if I get into that situation again. Please any advice will be useful. Please no hate and please ONLY answers to this question, thanks! Btw I'm 14 and she is 15 |
Question: WHY DOES MY SISTER RUIN MY LIFE?!?!?!? Posted: 09 Jun 2015 01:30 PM PDT So my sister is 5 and I try to hang out with my friends but she always has to come, so we ask if she can come and my friends say no. SHE IS THE WORST SISTER EVER! She ruins my social life way too often and thats just one example. I HATE HER! |
Question: I stay home all summer.? Posted: 09 Jun 2015 01:29 PM PDT I'm never excited for summer unless we go on vacation. Every summer has been the same for me, just staying home and bored. Me and my sister don't have our licenses but we have our permits and we can't drive anywhere without an adult. My parents are at work 24/7 and don't come home till 7-9 pm. None of my friends ask me to go anywhere and I'm just tired of staying at home every week 😓 is it bad to stay at home all summer? |

Question: I have a problem with my "step child"? Posted: 09 Jun 2015 01:26 PM PDT I live with my girlfriend and her 10 year old son. The son and I have intermittent problems. For one, he is disrespectful and narcissistic. Hes not a monster, but its bad enough to make you want to throw up when you witness the behavior, which is persistent. I'm not one to over inflate things, he just rubs me the wrong way pretty bad. Another thing, hes just straight up disrespectful to his mother...to a fault. This is what irks me the most I guess. Every other word is "friggin" and makes fun of things he really shouldn't. Then theres the other side, thats concerned and sweet. Its almost like living with a mini psychopath. I used to always try and win the childs affection or respect and it worked as long as I was buying him something or being glued to his side while he plays video games. But to be honest I couldnt keep that level up forever. Now I am just in limbo with how to handle this. Hes not my kid, so I have no real authority with him like I would my own 3 boys (that dont live with me). I just want to be able to get around the house without inadvertently acting like a prick towards him because thats not right either since I can feel that attitude creep up on a regular basis. His mom (my girl) is pretty defensive about it so I'm finding this doubly hard to deal with...any suggestions out there? |
Question: Physically afraid of my abusive sister? Posted: 09 Jun 2015 01:19 PM PDT I'm 17, and my sister is 19. For the past several years but especially since the last 2 years, I've been afraid of my sister. I don't know what to do because my parents don't believe she's capable of the things she does. She's hit my head, my arms, legs, and stomach. She's also thrown heavy things directly at me, then in the next second claimed it was as accident. She then yells at me for being hit. My mom ignores it. It feels like she chooses my sister over me. I do trade insults with her, but I don't inflict physical pain on her. If I did, she would hit me harder. She demands "respect" but defines it as complete subservience. She wants me to only speak when spoken to and reply with Yes (her name) while also expecting me to make her food when my parents aren't home. She daily tells me that I'm ugly, stupid, and have no friends. She tells me that my parents want to give me up for adoption and never loved me. She's given me death threats, and she just says things that bring me down. I don't know what to do. No one believes me because my sister never acts that way with other people. She talks about and criticizes people behind their backs all the time. She takes out her frustration on me. Sometimes I'm afraid to be in the same room as her, and she just hits me whenever she wants me to shut up. I don't feel like I can do this for the rest of my life. |
Question: I feel awful !!! :/? Posted: 09 Jun 2015 01:16 PM PDT Today while going into store I noticed a car running figured someone was just waiting for someone. Could hear air running. On the way out a baby caught my eye and I thought he was alone. While contemplating what to do the women came out and I asked her if the baby was alone. Turns out her mom was in the car with him, I feel so bad and I apologized. I'm glad I erred on the side of caution but feel awful |
Question: My parents won't let me quit soccer? Posted: 09 Jun 2015 01:07 PM PDT I really don't like soccer but I've been playing for about nine years now to please my parents. I mentioned before the start of last season that I wanted to quit and they dismissed this. Now this year I told them again that I don't want to play any more and I want to play tennis instead (I recently started playing on the weekends and really enjoy it). They said tennis doesn't count because it's not a team sport and therefore won't make me look as well rounded to colleges. They also think that my wanting to quit is totally out of the blue and that it's only because my friends want me to play on the tennis team with them which isn't the case at all--I've wanted to quit for years! This is also coming after I quit track in the spring. Why can't my parents accept that sports aren't really my thing?! I do pretty well in school, my mock trial team made it to the regional semifinals this year, and I won two state business competitions (FBLA if you know what that is) and am competing at the national level in Chicago this summer. I also recently joined a volunteer organization and plan to use the extra time from quitting soccer for volunteering and maybe auditioning for my school's fall play? It's not like I don't have other things going on. Why do my parents make me do something that makes me miserable and that I'm horrible at? |
Question: My Girlfriend of 3 years doesn't want to move for college but I do.? Posted: 09 Jun 2015 01:07 PM PDT So my girlfriend and I have been together for 3 years now since Freshman year of Highschool. I graduated early and she is about to become a Senior. She is really smart, I just took easier classes and got things done fast. She could get into most of the UC schools and loves warm weather. Her family is causing her a lot of stress lately. Her parents are split up but her dad (who is a loser) always is tagging along with them. The guy has lsot 2 jobs in 3 months because he falls asleep at work cause he runs on 2 hours of sleep each day since he plays call of duty all night. Her mom works a night job and is extremely stressed so she lets out all of her stress on her kids. She has three sisters and basically has to raise the youngest one. We both live in Chicago and the weather here is just not something I could do for much longer. Not going outside for more than half the year is depressing for me and the snow is such a pain. I have visited San Diego several times and loved it so much. I am certain I want to move to California and recently got a job opportunity to move and work in Santa Monica. My girlfriend on the other hand for WHATEVER REASON doesn't want to leave Chicago. Even the stress from her parents and the weather isn't enough to make her want to move. Her and I are very in love and have gone through many many things together. What should I do? |
Question: What do i say to my partner about the loss of both our children? Posted: 09 Jun 2015 01:02 PM PDT Me and my partner talk about our children a lot, more through texts while he's at work as he says it keeps him going through the day.. Every time i tell him i love him I say our babies (alex and brooklyn) love their daddy aswell because we lost them both in miscarriages.. Cute little messages about them that i could send him to make him smile would be nice:) Shove your negativity where the sun doesnt shine:)) |
Question: What do I do about my little brother? Posted: 09 Jun 2015 12:57 PM PDT My little brother is 7 and still can't read or write. I seriously have to do everything for him. He can't type, so I have to type in the shows he watches on Netflix for him. And he watches A LOT of shows, so literally every 20 minutes I have to get up and type something new for him. Like I said, he can't read. So when he is on his 3DS, he just goes and blindly taps on things without even knowing what he is doing. And I constantly have to read the text for him on the video games he's playing. If he can't play the games without our help, then he shouldn't even be playing them. And the games he plays even say on their cover, "Basic reading skill is needed to fully enjoy this game." He just doesn't care. One time he even got a hacker into his Orbo tablet that kept downloading p0rn to his tablet. I had to reformat it, along with tons of ridiculous games he downloaded. Due to his inability to read, he kept asking me why the games weren't downloading, when his memory was full. But the worst part is, my parents ask me to help him, and I have no choice. If I refuse, then my computer gets taken away for the rest of the week. So I can't challenge my parents. I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO!!! I've tried EVERYTHING from the previous times I've asked this and nothing has changed. I feel like I have to help him or else he will get nowhere. The thing is I have no choice but to to help him do things he should be able to do independently by now or else I get punished. What do I do!? He IS in a special learners' class, and he IS diagnosed with a learning disability. |
Posted: 09 Jun 2015 12:44 PM PDT I feel like after this happened and I remarried and she behaved like it wasn't her daughter's wedding I lost all my faith and trust in her and its like she never apoligized for not being tgere for me and since then I just can't seem to let it go it hurts me still |

Question: Why does my husbands family talk about me? Posted: 09 Jun 2015 12:28 PM PDT I have sister in laws that gossip way too much. I get along with just one of my sister in laws and she tells me that they talk about me behind my back, they make comments about my hair, the way i dress, and things i do or dont do for my husband. Im just tired of it, i dont want to confront them, i.just think it would be useless. But what can i do so they can stop talking about me?? It hurts me when i hear stuff because i dont talk about them, im just busy at work most of the time or just home with my husband.. |
Question: My mom and the female doctor saw my penis and I'm really really embarrassed please answer? Posted: 09 Jun 2015 12:20 PM PDT Today I had my check up. my mom was in the room and i got a big erection in front of them. I was really embarrassed because I'm not comfortable with people seeing me naked unless it's like my future wife. My face turned really red and I'm super embarrassed now. Is it normal for u to get an erection when the check ups happen? Btw I'm 13 and a boy obviously |
Posted: 09 Jun 2015 12:18 PM PDT Is it normal that my mom makes me sweep the house everyday, wash the dishes 2 or 3 times a day and mop the floor like 3 times a week. I guess im just lazy or the fact that all she does is cook food and just goes straight to her room. Im 14 years old and i just wanna have fun sometimes. Like have a movie day or go to the neighborhood park with my cousins or friends. All i do is clean all day while my friends are out having fun. Shouldn't i be able to go bike riding or go to the pool? |
Question: When youre 13 can you picked who you wanna live with? Posted: 09 Jun 2015 12:09 PM PDT My parents are divorced, I don't like doing the every other weekend thing. I just wanna stay at my moms |
Question: How do i tell me parents that they make me feel bad about myself? Posted: 09 Jun 2015 11:59 AM PDT my parents never say anything nice to me,they are constantly insulting my face and body.my mom would always complain about how i have a summer holiday and yet i still look like ****,she says i should start working on myself and try to look at least decent because apparently im that ugly.whenever i have free time, she would force me to go to the gym and if i chose to not go she would insult my body and talk to me about how lazy i am and how fat i got and how i look so bad all the time. i try to act like it doesn't bother me but it really does,i go to bed crying and wake up crying because of the way they are treating me.i have never had such self esteem issues but now its the point where i am ashamed to even walk in front of them because i feel like they are picking out the flaws in me. my mom gives me such disgusted looks unintentionally and it hurt alot, whenever i tell her to stop doing it she says she doesnt mean it which is even more offending to me. she makes fun of my hair for being very curly and claims i dont brush it when i promise i do. before prom she forced me to lose weight so that i can look acceptable in a dress.the thing is she thinks what she is doing is right and even if i complain she would say that she is helping me and that im just a spoilt teenager but im far off that. when i complain to her about how i feel so lonely and how i have no friends, she says alot have it worse,i know a lot do but i still deserve happiness.she always underestimates me |
Question: My dad don't love me anymore? Posted: 09 Jun 2015 11:59 AM PDT Okay I just need to vent a little so anyone actually reading thanks for listening(or reading lol.) My dad has 2 sons i'm his only youngest daughter. I was a huge daddy's girl and right now I am 21 years old but I feel and look 17.(Late bloomer). He broke lots of promises, drug addict, and been to jail many times. He promised to take me to Disney world since I was 10 years old and kept putting it off (bcuz he kept using money he saved for disney to buy drugs.) So now that I am older I no longer feel that same excitement of going to disney world or anywere basicly..with my dad as when i was 10. So I feel like I missed out on having great daddy daughter memories due to his stupid drug addiction. I'm getting angry just thinking about this which is why i need to vent. Anyways because we fight and argue a lot nowadays, he doesn't give me hugs anymore and my dad is the only person i have and he really sucks at comforting me and i just get mad. It makes me feel like rebeling. I dont know wat to do he just really sucks as a dad right now. He doesnt encourage me or support me in anything and he gets mad wen i get mad about that. |
Question: Two families (my mom and my fiancée's family) live under the same roof? Posted: 09 Jun 2015 11:57 AM PDT My fiancée's mom(50s) is going to buy a house and really wants to live with us. However, I need to live with my mom (almost 60) since my dad passed away a few years ago. Her mom talked to me and kind of beg me to live with her and her mother. Her mother really wants to live with my fiancée and she even said she wasted 20 years + of life to raise my fiancée if we aren't going to live with her. She is going to pay the down payment and asks us to pay the mortgage. She is willing to let my mom, my fiancée to live on the 2nd floor and she will live on the 1st floor. Is this going to work?! They are single moms and we have the responsibilities to take care of them. But, I have never heard of two families(my family and my fiancée family) can live under the same roof. This is driving us crazy! |
Question: Why is my brother like this? Posted: 09 Jun 2015 11:45 AM PDT Gosh! I do not even know where to start. Firstly, let's put out the fact that he is TWENTY-TWO YEARS OLD! He will be twenty-three in August. I am a sixteen year old girl, and my family is just getting by. I had to get a job to take care of myself, because my mother had a stroke. Due to that, she is unable to take care of me. My grand mother is elderly, and my older sister is just getting by. My brother went to jail in 2011 for robbing someone. He just came home four months ago. For some reason, he believes that we owe him. HE DON'T UNDERSTAND THAT WE ARE NOT RICH! He will NOT get a job! He ran away from the half-way, but still will not go get a job. The only thing that he wants to do is go to the studio, because he is an aspiring rapper. He just will not grow up. We tell him to get a job. He just says, "Man, y'all don't understand. It is hard out here." He also received his GED in prison, but he won't take it to do something positive. He feel as though he will get signed in the near future. What should we do? He is a grown man. He is also sounding pathetic, begging for money, and complaining. He owe the entire family money. The only reason we have it to him is because, we thought that he was using it to better himself. He is nothing but an USER. He owes me $117, already. Can I please have some advise? He need to grown up and be a man! What "man" calls the women in his family complaining about being hungry, needing shoes, needing clothes, etc? Please help! |
Question: I'm on punishment on summer break !!!??!!? Posted: 09 Jun 2015 11:43 AM PDT I maintain mostly good grades, but I got all a's and made one 79. I don't understand why I am in trouble. I told my sister that I didn't feel like studying or anything in the summer and my dad called her and she told him what I said. And now I'm in trouble I guess for saying I didn't care & making one little 79. I think it's really student honestly. I'm on punishment for expressing an opinion. They took some makeup that I don't even wear a lot of but i don't care about that. He told me not to ask to go anywhere. It's the summer I had plans, places to go, & my friends birthday is coming up in like 2 weeks. What do I do? How can I get this to blow over FAST? |
Question: My parents found out i had a boyfriend? Posted: 09 Jun 2015 11:41 AM PDT Hey. I'm 13 years (nearly 14 on october 12th) i can probably say i have strict parents because they won't let me get a bf until about 18.. so monday i had school and normally the whole family wakes up to get ready all that.. So my dad came to the bathroom while i was doing my makeup so he could have a shower. So i obviously got out the bathroom carrying my makeup , however leaving my phone in there , i came back to get it , seeing my dad with my phone in his hands asking me for the password.. It took about 5 minutes for me to finally unlock my phone for him , i started shaking crying etc. So he looked on my fb with the conversation with my ex saying 'i still love you' that made my dad mad. My mum is also mad but she is sad too along with my dad they had higher expectations off me.. I feel really stupid , what should i do? |
Question: My entire family makes fun of me.? Posted: 09 Jun 2015 11:34 AM PDT So I'm 13 and I have anxiety and I'm a little OCD. My parents are divorced and at my dad's house it's nice and clean. But my mom's house is so messy. No one ever cleans and she says that it's because "[she's] at work all day and [she has] no time". I come home from my dads house only to see trash all over the house, dirty dishes everywhere, a mattress that my little brother sleeps on in the living room (because he is too scared to sleep in his bed) and toys and other crap everywhere. I am the only one that ever cleans. I clean the entire house by myself with out a thank you and within 1 hour it's messy again. Today while I was cleaning I was putting up the mattress in my moms room, and my sister called my mom saying I was "spazzing and acting crazy" but all I was doing was putting it up. She tried pushing it out and I tried pushing it back in. My sister and my brother hit me multiple times when I finally gave up. My sister then began telling me my mom and her talk about how I'm "crazy and a freak and I have no friends" and I know I'm different but that really hurt. Especially hearing it came from my mom. So now the house is left messy and I'm just sitting in my room all by myself. Did I do anything wrong? |
Posted: 09 Jun 2015 11:23 AM PDT So my Fiance and I have both agreed that she will be keeping her last name because it matches so well with her first name, in fact it was my idea. Her name is Emily Walker, I freaking love that name, I don't know why, but I just do. Plus, it's so much easier than having to change all her credit cards, passports, license, etc. My parents don't mind and neither do her's, obviously. But my mom's side of the family believes that God created Men as head of the household and that women should follow suit, including in name and that she has to take my last name. The thing is, her and I are atheists. I believe she's equal to me and that neither of us have more authority than the other. They know this and are angry about that too, they think I'm dishonoring the family name. They already said that if I don't force my girlfriend to change her last name, they're not going to attend. What should I do? |
Question: Would you say my dads an alcoholic? Posted: 09 Jun 2015 11:14 AM PDT He has 6 drinks a day and about 40 over a week and it's tearing our family apart |
Question: Moms I need your thoughts? I really need help..? Posted: 09 Jun 2015 11:10 AM PDT I need a moms help or anyone.. My mom is my Bestfriend I love her more then anything else in the world.. She helped me when I went blind & got my vision back, she's been through it all with me, we do everything together. (I'm 16) we had a huge fight yesterday. We have little fights then make up quickly after but this was bad. I told her something I would never think I'd ever say to her, I told her I hated her (WHICH I DONT, I over exaggerated completely, I'm regretful, I hate myself for it) it broke her heart & she's extremely hurt by it. I remember she's always tell me "one day your going to say it" (my older sister had said it when she was little. I always said 'NOOO mom I would never-" I shocked myself & I ducking hate myself. Nothing I do will ever cure the hurt & pain I've caused her just by those words, she didn't even deserve them. I wanna kill myself for it I REALLY DO, I'm thinking about overdosing on meds because I hate myself for what I did.. What do you think of all this? I'm crying while writing this, I regret it so much, I'm scared to die but I don't deserve to live .. |

Question: How can I convince my mother to move to a different state? (From Wisconsin to Cali)? Posted: 09 Jun 2015 11:07 AM PDT *My neighborhood hates my family: My neighbors had a bond fire,y invited the whole entire block, except for my family. They knew that we were home. The police come to my house a few times a year due to my family not getting along, so my nosy neighbors, gossip about my family. My mom absolutely hates my neighbors. *My mom hates her job: I know that most adults complain about their jobs, but she has it pretty good. Her job gives her part-time and they pay her 3x minimum wage. She has been working at that company for almost 10 years, she always says that she is job hunting. *School: I am an incoming freshman this year. I know a lot of students that go already, so I know what I am getting myself into. I have social anxiety and situational haphephobia (phobia of getting touched). I have made a complete fool of myself around some of the people that I will be going to school with. I have made a lot of mistakes, and I do not want to be crowned freak of the ninth grade or be talked about throughout high school. *Dog: My dog is a lab and he needs to be walked a lot, low metabolism. In the winter, its too cold for me to go outside. My mom always screams at me during the winter months, because of this. *Weight: I get seasonal depression in the winter and I sit home all of the time, and eat. I am not overweight, but I start to OD on weight loss pills and cry. *Family: All I have is my mom, grandpa, brother, dad (jail) and great uncle. More reasons, but ran out of characters. |

During the school year she doesnt bother me so.much since my school is very difficult but now that its over she expects it to be spotless. I've just done my a levels and will be missing results day and I really would like to find out how I've done. My parents convinced me I can find out my results when we came back and I finally said okay. However today I found out we'd be comin back on the 4th of September, 3 days into my school year. Now Id be missing 3 days from an introduction to my final year of sixth form, which is the most important year and id be introduced to UCAS etc. and I'd have to find out what my exam results are in school and if I did poorly I won't have anywhere to compose myself. How can I make my parents allow me to stay at home??? I'm 17 by the way! |
Question: Call my stepsister spoiled? Posted: 09 Jun 2015 10:43 AM PDT My younger step-sister is very accustomed to getting everything she wants, I'm 22, she's 15. She knows how to manipulate the parents( my dad married her mom). She gives sad eyes, quivers her upper lip, cracks her voice as if she's going to cry, says she hates them, etc, they give in. Parents( my dad and stepmom) are out of town so I'm house-sitting/watching her. They told Lexi( stepsister) she could have her friends over. She asked me for beer last night. Her: Gotta ask you a favor Me: Sure. Her: Will you buy some beer for my friends and I? Me: Nope, no way. Her: Ugh, why not Me: You're far too young, they'd kill me. Her: I won't tell, you won't tell. Me: Lex, the answer is no. Her: * sad eyes, quivers lip. Stomps foot* Me: And you can cut that s**t out. Stop acting like a spoiled brat. Her: I'm not a spoiled brat. Me: You always get your way. Her: UGH, c'mon please. I told them you would. Me: Bad move, still no. Her: I hate you * Ran upstairs, slammed door. Still not talking. Do I tell my parents she asked me to buy them beer? |
Question: Should I tell on my brother? Posted: 09 Jun 2015 10:38 AM PDT I'm pretty sure my 17 year old younger brother smoked it. Should I tell my parents? I feel so guilty but I don't want to be a hypocrite since I also do things on the side my parents don't know. But the thing is, he's only 17 and he's my little brother. Should I leave it alone like I didn't see it or should I tell on my parents? *I smoke occasionally as well but I'm over 18 (Doesn't matter health wise). And I do some other recs. That's why I feel so guilty telling on him when I, myself is hiding things from my parents. |
Question: My grandmom got me into a weird situation. What should I do? Posted: 09 Jun 2015 10:36 AM PDT So, I went to New Jersey for the summer a few days ago from Florida. I am 13 years old. My grandmom told me how she invited this sophomore who mows her lawn (who's dad she knows) to go with us to an amusement park and how he's "adorable". I know she would embarrass me if he did go and it would be absolutely weird. I have been feeling anxious about it and I don't know why. What should I do? (Thank you in advance) |
Question: Who else here hates their father? And for what reason? Posted: 09 Jun 2015 10:35 AM PDT I despise mine. From the time I was very young he abused my mother verbally and physically. This continued until I got older, and then he started in on me. When my best friend died, he told me to quit crying or else he was going to beat my mother. Then, when my mom and I finally got up enough money and resources to leave him, he used his family connections in the courts to deny my mother any of the money or assets she deserved. Now we live basically impoverished in my abusive grandmother's upstairs bedrooms. So, yeah. Why do you hate your dad? Ha! These aren't "past obstacles"; I'm still dealing with it every day! What a joke. |
Question: I disappointed my grandma, she thinks I don't care about anything.? Posted: 09 Jun 2015 10:33 AM PDT I woke up today at 11:40, I was up late last night watching netflix until around 3:30. It's my summer break, so I don't want to be forced to get up early, I like to sleep in. I sleep a lot too, I don't know why I sleep so much, but I'm usually always tired. I have lots of stress at home, and I recorded my mom and stepdad screaming at me. I played the tape for my grandma, and she asked me what she could do to change it. I didn't know what to tell her. In the tape, my stepdad called me "f*cking lazy", and she said she doesn't like the way they spoke to me, but she can kind of understand how they feel. She says I never want to get out of the bed, and I don't care about anything or anyone. Inalso think she's a little upset with me because of my views on gay rights. Basically, I support it, she hates it.. I can't lose the respect of my grandma. I love her to much. What can I do to change her mind about me? |
Question: Why are people encouraging incest? Posted: 09 Jun 2015 10:32 AM PDT It's disgusting! I'm tired of reading questions on here that say " is it ok to have sex with my Mom?" and some ******* dunce answers " it's all normal sweety" NO! it's not normal , it's wrong you are not supposed to have feelings for your relatives, if you do you have some serious mental issues and if you don't believe me go right ahead and **** your sister and have mutated children that will not live past 5 and contract some uncurable disease in your penis. And yes that does happen when you breed with relatives. I live in a town where the population breeds with their first cousins, their faces are deformed some have mental disabilities and there is a graveyard full of children that haven't lived past birth or an hour after birth because inbreeding is dangerous. So please stop encouraging it! |
Question: I feel trapped, my parents wont let me even leave the house to play? Im 14? Posted: 09 Jun 2015 10:31 AM PDT I am 14, my dad is always telling me and my siblings that we shouldn't leave the house for whatever damn reason I am not even kidding. if it was a perfect day, perfect weather, he will find something, ANYTHING he can tell us to do, to prevent us from leaving the house when I say leaving the house, I mean literally leaving like playing around the street that is like 1 minute in front of my house. He tells me its cold one day, to finish my chores the other, and then he says its to late to be out at 7:30, playing on my scooter. Dont assume I am with my friends, because quite frankly, I have one real friend, and she has only visited my once in my house. I play outside with my little sister and brother who are like 9 and 12. My dad is literally getting on my nerves, because if I try to exercise he is always mad at me, or maybe he just wants to lock me in the damn house all day After all, he calls me fat and overweight, and makes fun of my body, and even when I try to be active, he blocks every source of interest I could possibly have. Please help me, I feel locked in my own world.... all my peers meet outside of school, and go to parties, and all that crap |

Question: My boyfriends talks to my mom about our problems. Is it illogical to be mad at him for it? Posted: 09 Jun 2015 10:27 AM PDT As soon as we are having problems my boyfriends mentions it to my mom. At times she gets on his side, which makes me angry because those are problems we should be dealing with and not for the whole world to know, not even our families. Am I wrong for getting mad at him for telling my mom our problems? I have also talked to him about it in the past. He knows it bothers me that he does so, yet he continues to do it. |
Question: Little brother is out of control? Posted: 09 Jun 2015 10:26 AM PDT My little brother is completely out of control. He is only four years old. He is extremely disrespectful and constantly threatens me, my two sisters, and my parents. Whenever he gets upset, he will immediately start screaming and crying, and will hit anyone who bothers him. My mom has tried everything, including the time-out chair and the hot sauce on his tongue when he gets sassy, but to no avail. He listens to no one and has thrown my own cell phone at me on multiple occasions, among other things such as my water bottle and his toys. I'm so tired of him acting like this, because it's so nice when he's peaceful. We seriously don't know what to do with him because punishment just seems to get him more fired up. |

Question: I'm So Embarrassed...? Posted: 09 Jun 2015 10:23 AM PDT My parents and I were invited to a banquet of sorts for my school. At the end, they give you awards of achievement. I barely got any awards and my mom is raging. It's so embarrassing to get like 3. What do I do? My mom even called me an embarrassment. |
Posted: 09 Jun 2015 10:22 AM PDT My brother in laws step daughter just and a baby and she's giving the baby up for adoption she's only 15 and my mother in law is on her way to pick me up to go visit and I'm not sure if this is ok or just awkward my sister in law (the girl'a mother) hasn't talked about the pregnancy to any of us on this side of the family so is it totally inappropriate for me to go visit? |
Question: What to do about racist in-laws? Posted: 09 Jun 2015 10:16 AM PDT my finances parents are from South America but they have ben living in the United States for about 25 years or more. They don't embrace or acknowledge American culture at all & use words like "gringa" & "*****" (because according to them it's acceptable to speak that way to people where there from). My fiancé is very close to them & they are very overbearing. They don't like me with him & they tell me privately but act very supportive of me in front of him. They even accompanied him when he proposed (which I was definitely not happy about)then never spoke of it again.its ben hard to plan & make the wedding happen because his family refuses to be a part of it (2 yrs later)& it's discouraging to him.Another thing that happened this past Mother's Day was they had his fathers friends daughter (who barely even know my fiances mom)come to give her a Mother's Day gift basically implying she will be her future mother in law.The whole thing is out of control & I don't know what to do at this point because I've already invested so much of myself & time into this relationship.I know my fiancé has a lot of good in him but I don't deserve to be treated like this by his family & he doesn't do anything to stop it.I just want to know if anyone else has delt with something similar & how was it handled? |
Question: Tired to suspect my husband? Posted: 09 Jun 2015 09:43 AM PDT probably 3 years ago I catch my husband on saying lets meet, I will lick your pussy, and there was unknown phone # .that was in his gmail. there were 2 or 3 emails similar . I asked him, and he said that probably he sold the phone and forgot to delete some info .and that guy was sending emails . I believed him because he was good with me, helped with a child if I asked him, nothing gave me any chance to think that it is true ! . And last year all the secrets came out !! He was late from work, I text him, he did not answer,. Called him - nothing .I call him again and again , many times - nothing ! And finally his phone picked a police officer , she said he's in jail. The charges are online sex corruption and luring a minor . (Online minor was a police officer - a huge thanks to those people !!) Of course, he did not tell you that he wanted to have a sex with her, but there are a lot of proves..and than I got new surprise, that he wanted to have a sex contact with a prostitute, - police about 1,5 year ago !officer said. He said that I did not give him enough of attention and sex and that pushed him to it. But at that time( last y.) I had a 5 m.old baby and 3 years ago I had a baby too. We have 3 kids, he's older me for 10 years , soon he will be 41. Married together for 7 years - I'm tired of always suspecting him . My question is -- is every man needs permanent sex ? What if we don't have it for 3- 5 days because of some circumstances ?? are all of them addicted to porn sites and pics ? |
Posted: 09 Jun 2015 09:41 AM PDT What a beautiful morning! Waking up next to a little angel made me realize how beautiful when you are a mother. A couple who I have not known for very long asked me to watch their 6-month-year old baby for the weekend while they were gone. I was very happy that they trusted me with their little baby, and I gladly accepted. And here I am, with the little angel, cuddling, hugging, talking, singing.. We spent all night together, even though she had her own bed, she slept with me.I purposely took her to my bed, because I wanted to feel how it feels to be the mother. And it worked, holding her in my arms, making her laugh, singing her song to make her sleep made me feel like I am the real mother. The emotions and the feelings that I get from this little baby can't be described, it's something you only feel it, you feel it like you are the happiest person in the world. You want to cherish this moment, you want this moment never gets over. Well, my point about writing all this is that how beautiful it could be if you have your own kids, your own family. I hope some day god gives me a nice husband and my own children, so I could feel the real feeling being a nice wife and a good mother. |
