Question: How should I word my rehearsal dinner invitations? Posted: 12 Jun 2015 03:43 PM PDT We are inviting immediate family, readers, and attendants. I know that my attendants will want to bring significant others but we can not pay for their meals. It is okay with us if significant others come because there is enough room at our venue. I need to know how to word invitations so that people know their SO are invited but we cannot pay for their meals without it sounding mean or cheap. (do not try to change my mind about paying for SO dinners we cannot do it) |
Question: Mother in law gifts for wedding?? Posted: 12 Jun 2015 03:25 PM PDT I would LOVE to give my mother in law a gift for our wedding... like a cute "thanks for making your son mybprince" kinda thing. I've seen a lot of pendants with stuff but I would like to give her something creative and special. We are on a budget so something not too expensive would be awesome! ! Anyone have ideas or experiences on what they gave? |
Question: Wedding night question? Posted: 12 Jun 2015 03:12 PM PDT me and my fiancée are getting married in September. We are both virgins, so if anyone has some insight for us it would be great. Examples: how to help the nerves about him seeing me naked for the first time, what position would be easiest to cause less pain, and just general tips. Thank you!! |
Posted: 12 Jun 2015 02:58 PM PDT I have tried Amazon and Ebay and there are some interesting rings under $60 for the guy wedding band plus the girl engagement and wedding band, but I was wondering if there were more places with more options for cheap! I d like to keep it under $60 if possible! Any suggestions are appreciated! Thanks! |
Question: Risk being late for a wedding reception? Posted: 12 Jun 2015 02:35 PM PDT So I've been invited to 2 weddings on the same day. Problem here is the timing. The ceremony for one starts at 4:30 pm while the reception for the other starts at 5 pm. Driving from one location to the other would take up 20 minutes. Should I risk being late for the wedding reception, or should I not attend the ceremony? |

Question: Fun, but clean bachelorette party on a budget? Posted: 12 Jun 2015 12:27 PM PDT My best friend is getting married. August 1st. She just asked me to be her Matron of Honor, so I haven't been planning anything. Obviously I don't have a lot of time so I need suggestions on fun things to do. No strippers. No drinking. Although it will be more conservative than the ordinary bachelorette party, I do want to do some kind of game/activity that will embarrass her lol. she is a virgin and so is her fiancée. I want it to be fun, but im married and have a 1 year old, so it has be on a serious budget. any ideas? oops, I realize I made it sound like I want to be mean to her. I don't want to embarrass her too much, because my husband and I were both virgins when we got married, so I know how it feels when people go too far. I just want to have some fun with her. |

Question: Am I weird for not liking diamonds/gems and gold/silver? Posted: 12 Jun 2015 10:37 AM PDT I've always wanted a wedding ring made out of stainless steel that represents something medieval times, like a dragon claw for example. Is this weird for a female? PS, I don't know if my partner will have trouble finding something like this (I feel kinda bad) |

Question: BEST MAN'S SPEECH!? HELP!? Posted: 12 Jun 2015 02:24 AM PDT Okay, so my brothers wedding is next month, on the 12th, and i'm his best man! I'm not doing an ordinary speech, and am instead doing a video like a speech, but differently. I want to like roast my brother and say funny jokes to get people laughing, and of course be a little sentimental and show some pictures of him, and is wife, but, I want it too be funny and such, not some boring speech. How can I bring more laughter to the audience and make it memorable! Thank you! |
Question: Wedding Videographers? Posted: 12 Jun 2015 01:41 AM PDT Hello, My fiance and I have been searching far and wide for the perfect wedding videographer. Unfortunately, we have not come across any that we like. We want a video with lots of dialogue that shows our story. We do not want one with music playing over what everyone is saying. We do not want forced poses or speeches over the entire video. Can you help us find the perfect videographer? Any links would most helpful! Thank you! Forgot to mention that our price point is $3,000 and we live in Southern CA. Thanks! |
Question: Family member excluded from wedding invitation? Posted: 11 Jun 2015 10:53 PM PDT My husband s niece is getting married, and she dropped off an invitation on my doorstep the other day when I wasn t home. The envelope simply said my husband s name, my name, and my stepdaughter s name. Now....my 15-year-old stepdaughter doesn t even live in town, she lives like 2 hours away. My 21-year-old daughter and her son live with my husband and I. I know people can invite, and not invite who they want to their own wedding....but is this poor etiquette? There s no hard feelings between them, my husband and I have been married for 4 years, and although we don t see each other that often, even though we live in the same town, we all get along fine. I m so confused as to why my daughter was excluded. I m so upset about this that I don t even want to send a wedding gift now, and we are of course NOT attending the wedding. Am I wrong to be upset about this? |
Question: I'm the fat bridesmaid.? Posted: 11 Jun 2015 02:16 PM PDT My brother is getting married on June, 27th. I have stretch marks on my arms, and I'm nervous and scared that people are going to make fun of me. I just put the dress on and I feel like ****. The other bridesmaids (3) are small. I'm very insecure because of my weight and stretch marks. |
