Posted: 21 Jun 2015 06:58 PM PDT I've been dating this guy for about a month. We aren't in a relationship yet. We are in the dating phase. Even though I've only known him for a month I've developed some pretty strong feelings for him. I've never felt this much chemistry with anyone before. Never a dull moment. I don't wanna rush. Into a relationship but I'm insanely attracted to him and I always have to fight the urge to kiss him. I have this rule about no physical contact until we are in a relationship. It's crazy because we are so opposite yet we're the same. And he pointed that out too he was like " we're opposites yet totally the same". I've been hanging out with him almost every day. He picks me up quite often. The other day he was calling and texting me but I was sleep. Didn't wake up until like 1pm ( oops). Plus my phone was dead. So I wake up and my mom says that he came over while I was asleep. I text him and was like " you came over?" And he was like " yes I was calling and texting you but no reply. I was worried about you. Like couldn't stop thinking about you. I thought maybe your phone got cut off or something happened to you. I know it was risky coming over while your parents were there but I just had to make sure you were okay" and I was like " why we're you so worried. It's still early in the day" and he was like " I know but you told me about your rocky past so I thought the worst case scenario happened" Then he told me he had a gift for me. He told me he was taking me to my favorite store ( sephora) and I could go on a shopping spree. I was like " wow that's really great thank you. I didn't think you was gonna remember that was my favorite store" and he was like " you're a special girl and I wanted to do something nice for you" Not only am I physically attracted to him but I feel emotionally connected with him too. He always makes me laugh until I cry, whenever I'm around him everything feels right with the world, he's caring and ambitious and always takes my feelings into consideration |
Question: At a wedding, what is the job of a best man? What is the job of bride's maids? Posted: 21 Jun 2015 06:06 PM PDT Also, why can't the groom have more than one best man, and why can't the bride have only one bride's maid? And then, why is it that there is never a flower boy? And, why is the flower girl under the age of five in EVERY wedding? Can't the flower girl be ten years old? Or 15 years old? |
Question: Wedding dress shopping? Posted: 21 Jun 2015 03:58 PM PDT Is it weird that I'm a) starting to look at dresses even though the wedding is 2 years out? and b) bringing my fiance to my first appointment with me? I live 3000 miles away from my parents and siblings, so it's not exactly easy to go shopping with them, although I plan on it when I go visit for Christmas because since my mom is the one buying the dress, I want her to see it on me and like it as well. I'm also new to where I live and have very few friends here and don't want to go shopping alone. |
Question: Who should be my bridesmaid or maid of honor? Posted: 21 Jun 2015 02:18 PM PDT I have a sister and a best friend who I want to both be important for my wedding. My best friend would probably be better with planning my bachelorette party, but I really love my sister a lot and she's always there for me. My priority isn't the party. I've just been talking to them both and both have brought up being the MOH. And then they were both talking about themes of parties and stuff. Sorry if I implied it. |

Posted: 21 Jun 2015 11:01 AM PDT I'm getting married in 3 weeks I need some music ideas to dance to with my two sons |
Question: What is the difference between a bridal shower and an engagement party? Posted: 21 Jun 2015 09:17 AM PDT I've heard of Engagement parties, bridal showers, bachelor/bachelorette parties and I want to know what is the difference. Is it customary to do all three? Or would that be too much? What do they normally entail? The more detail the better. I want to do this right lol and I don't want to annoy people by having six different celebrations for what is generally one big event, but I also don't want to miss out on anything. |
Question: What's the big deal about marriage? Posted: 21 Jun 2015 08:42 AM PDT I don't see what the big hoopla hoopla is about marriage! I mean....it's just one ceremony and one day meant for a couple to pubically declare their love in front of family and friends....who already know of their love to be frank! The only reason why I want to get married is so that if my significant other goes into hospital or I can go into the hospital, the two of us will be able to see each other without much hassle from the staff. And to make sure that the love of my life is provided for in case something happens to me. Other than that, I don't see need to have a ceremony in order feel committed to the man I love or prove that I love him! But come on folks! If you take away the leagality of marriage.......what does it really do?! I know plenty of unmarried couples who are just as committed to each other as a "married couple" is supposed to be so how is it any different from a boyfriend and girlfriend living together forvever? |
