I dated this guy a few months ago and my parents made me break up with him. We still talk and he recently left to basic training with the army so we've been writing letters to each other. I stopped receiving his letters and today his grandma told me he told her to ask me if I've been getting his letters because he hasn't heard from me and he's been writing every day. I searched my parents' room and found the letters. My question is, is it legal for them to that? I'm 17 by the way and turn 18 next month. So it's been pretty difficult. I got a serving job at the beginning of the month, and it's been the longest 4 week process of training, that I have ever endured. I am still completely broke as I'm not making tips, and I feel completely taken advantage of as I am there doing everyone elese's duties, closing work, and side work... and still not getting tipped out. I am broke with hardly any money left in my bank account so it's disheartening going and doing the work and still being in this shape. Also, turned down other jobs for this, and I'm sure by now I would have at least been making money there by now. So I was having a moment yesterday, and felt totally completely over it. Even though I just have one more day of training, I just can't do it. I feel my soul has died in this process and I know longer feel happy or pleasant, which breaks my heart. It's turned me into a miserable, mean person, which I am not. So i sent them an email i can't continue on with training and appreciate all the efforts. and best of luck finding the right employee. but.. now i'm feeling down and like a quitter. I do want to work there it's just been a disheartening process. Should I just walk away now since I sent the email, or... try calling and tell them to please just disregard the email? I don't know if the title makes sense... I sent them an email that I can't work there and continue with the training. I was forced to go to a country I hate. I have no one to be with and nothing to do. I was skyline with my gf the other day and I was really upset so I told her about how my life is miserable in the country in in. She told her mum and from the kindness of her heart, her mum asked my dad if I would like to go to England, their home country with them. So me and "M" started talking around 9th grade and after getting to know her I started to really like her. Alright, so I have a problem with my gran and lately it's gotten out of control. My brothers and sisters are unsure of what to do, so I've turned to the Internet. First I should give you some background information. I'm 16, and I live with my 2 adopted brothers and 3 adopted sisters in my Gran's giant farmhouse in Louisiana. When I say giant, I mean it. 10 bedrooms, 7 baths and 8 chimneys. My Gran inherited it from her family, some very rich people from Germany (who may have relations tying to the Nazis, but I'd rather not get into that now). We all used to live in an orphanage, up until my Gran discovered that I was alive and took all of us in, and we've lived together ever since, for some 10 years. Right, so this problem all began about a month ago, when my Gran had her 72nd birthday. We were in the lounge, and gran was sitting on the floor with a big pile of presents around her. Just so you know, we take gift giving very seriously here. We're all required to each supply a present for any of our birthdays, and Gran's and my German relatives always send us extra, extravagant gifts from Germany. So Gran was fiendishly tearing open her presents, when she opened... a sword. It was a longsword, with It had a little nazi engraving on the hilt, so we can all guess who got it for her. Gran was delighted. She took to carrying the sword everywhere with her (she doesn't go out), and insisted that she use it for household chores and cooking us meals. This was all fine and dandy until she almost chopped off Bella's head, sliced the table in half, and impaled Jessy (he's recovered, thank God). Come supper time, she goes out to the chicken coup to "gather ingredients", insisting that she be the one to do it. You can just picture my Gran, charging after the poor birds, flailing her sword about and yelling curses, trying to stab one. Occasionally she manages to nab one, but ofttimes we find her flopped in the dirt, covered in mud and chicken feathers, passed out from the exertion, and have to carry her back inside. On those days we have to gather stringy vegetables from the garden, and it's no fun for anyone. So what do I do? Tom and Scarlett suggested we just hide the sword, do you think that's a good idea? So this was during passing periods in school. At first she seemed really cool and laid back. At the time she was in a relationship with a guy who she found out months later was cheating on her. But durring this time I witnessed tons of physical and verbal abuse that she would throw at him along with his verbal abuse, thankfully she broke up with him, but at one point she found it normal. Okay I've been freaking out so badly and I'm a nervous reck which is why I'm here. At 7:40 am Imy boyfriend and I will be on a flight from pittsburgh to Texas to spend time with his family. I love talking to my mother in dire situations that require some support or advice, however, when the situation is dependent on keeping a secret, my mother isn't able to keep it hidden. Lately I've had a crush on a certain boy, so I told my mother and a friend of mine, however the issue is the boy is my brother's best friend. My mom abruptly mentions him at the most horrid times, and if my brother is aware of my secret, he'll reduce the chances of me actually trying to near him. About a few years prior, she mentioned a boy I liked to his mother and his mother told him. I was extremely furious with what my mom did, she makes me uncomfortable in these situations! I'm unsure whether I should keep telling my mom secrets or resort to my best friend. My mom is also discouraging me regarding the situation of trying to near the boy I like. I feel as if my mother doesn't trust me? I'm well disciplined and I'm an above average student, I don't think sexually nor do I want engage in something sexual with him, I feel as if my mother desires more, or can't trust me due to my age! Should I continue conversating with her about secrets? Or should I resort to my best friend? Secondly, why doesn't my mom trust me nor think my decisions are valid? I am a 19 year old female. And I feel like I don't sin on purpose often. The only thing I've been struggling not to do is have sex. I love it. It fascinates me and I want it all the time. I just feel like I should get married already so I won't feel so bad for doing it. The only reason I feel like it's getting to be a big problem, besides that it's against my values, is that I get late to work or late to anywhere else because I wanna have sex one last time before I leave my boyfriend, to go wherever I need to. I just don't know what to do. Being abstinent seems almost impossible at this point. And when he's at work I make myself come at least 2 or 3 times, because I don't want to wait for him.

I have made some very poor choices and got myself pregnant at a far too young age. My boyfriend was furious when I told him. He said he does not want to take care of a child since he is only on college and told me to just have an abortion. I don't believe in abortions and told him no at this point he broke up with me and said he never wanted to hear from me again. Two months later he shows up at my high school telling me he wants to be there for me and the baby. Since then he is off and on. He will disappear for weeks and says he wants nothing to do with me or "my bastard" and other days he says he wants to take responsibility. My child does not need this kinda of instability in their life and I want to know if there is any legal way I can prevent him from returning. I am sick of the emotional verbal and sometimes physical abuse he puts me through and want my child as far away from that as possible. We've been dating for 7 months (about 2 exclusive ), and yesterday out of curiosity I ask him if his family knows about me. He says only his sister knows about me, but not much. So after I asked this, he says he'd love for me to meet his family. We're both new to this dating thing after being in previous long term relationships. We each have a child and we've met and our children have met, it's going very well. Though I feel somewhat nervous and excited at the prospect of meeting them and him meeting my family too. Any tips or suggestions ? Also I'm really assuming this is a step in a very positive direction....he wouldn't introduce just anyone right? He said Id be the first woman since his ex almost 10 yrs ago to meet his family. Sorry, I'm new to this too since it's been about 8 yrs for me since I did the meet the parents thing. Lol

them to talk ? I try with my brother and sister in law but they never say hi when they see me or try to talk to me , I'll be sitting at the same table and they won't hardly look at me :(

Okay I'm 18 and my boyfriend is 24 . We met on August 5,2013. I was 16 and he was 22 . We started off as friends. We've been dating almost 2 years. Neither of our parents know. We have to sneak and see each other b/c only a few ppl know about us. My father is a preacher I don't think he'll approve my mom is laid back but I don't think he'll approve either . His mom is pretty tough. She's hard on him and his dad is cool. We're thinking about putting the relationship on hold until we figure something out. We really do love and care about each other deeply but this is hard. Any advice???? No stupid comments this is a very serious situation
