Posted: 18 Jun 2015 05:01 PM PDT my roommate is a 3x size and when she does her laundry the entire hallway smells musty like under the arm stink. Her room also stinks like that plus she has 2 dogs. I overheard her tell one of her friends on the phone that she said oh I never really clean up I just throw my clothes on the floor...like is that why it smells like that? I also keep my room and bathroom clean, vacuumed, and keep candles lit. Plus, I overheard her talking about me how I stay in my room to her friend. First of all, I am just a roommate, I pay half of the rent and bills I dont have to be nice. I am taking a summer class which is my last class in college and working part time. Im always quiet and keep stuff clean. They will whisper and bust out laughing so I know they are talking about me.She complained to her friend on the phone that I never hang out with her. That is because I have to put food on the table, bills paid, gas in my car, and money for upcoming graduate school in another state. Who tf is she to talk about me when she is irresponsible? |

Posted: 18 Jun 2015 04:57 PM PDT I know technology is a part of todays culture but after spending a few days on a road trip with my friend I noticed some things. For example- my friend constantly had to photograph and post a photo of every single thing we did (meals, sailing, at the beach, sitting by the pool, the signs of the states as we passed them, etc), often directing the pictures ("silly pose", "serious pose", "take it again- I don't like it"). I didn't think anything of it until once the picture was posted and my friend stared at their phone refreshing their feed every few seconds, watching the number increase, or being critical of every comment that was posted he would do this for about 2 hours. The most concerning point was when his phone was about to die and he started to have somewhat of an anxiety attack. He began to get visibly upset while we were on a tour that had about 30 minutes left. I personally like to enjoy the moments and rarely whip out my phone to photograph things because I believe that the time you take fumbling to take the picture you miss the significance of that moment- but I don't understand the behavior and don't want to offend. I noticed this behavior becoming more prevalent in the last 2 years. We are in our mid 20's so its not like having a child who's phone you can just take from them. Has anyone else experienced this with a friend or loved on? If so, how did you talk to them? |

A while ago, I wanted to go to the movies, but they'd already made plans. My best friend said she was sorry but the other girls' sister was coming so it would be awkward for me and annoying. So, my best friend can deal with it, but I can't? They're always walking to the mall and hanging out. They make plans to go to the community pool, but never invite me. I'm sick of it. This is not the first time M's father has said rude things to me before. A few months ago I contacted him to ask him to take down a rude remark made by his son on an Instagram post to one of my friends (who was going through open heart surgery at the time) and he yelled at me through the phone (I was not being rude and I asked politely). I am also friend's with M's best friend and M threatened to get his father involved because apparently he was his friend first. I also think it is extremely inappropriate for him to be saying such snarky comments to me out of no where (he passed me and I was doing nothing wrong and said that) and I would like for him to stop. We have been talking about getting our own place for a while but nothing serious. Just recently we found our financial situation is allowing us to do so. We have tried casually bringing up the fact that we aren't planning on living there forever, and every time, she starts to have a panic attack, starts to cry, she asks what she is going to do, she has no where to go, and isn't comfortable with anyone else. We asked her about moving back home and she says there is no room there and then starts crying and gets upset. Anyway, I saw him recently at a party and he cornered me in a hallway. He started getting agitated and then said we "had to get back together." I said "no" and started to walk away when he grabbed my arm and twisted. I broke free and kicked him as hard as I could right in the balls with my pointed cowgirl boots! After I rocked his babymakers, he fell down and puked while I stood over him and asked him if he could taste his nuts. His face was priceless! I guess I nailed him so hard his nuts swelled up to the size of oranges and one ruptured and had to be removed (I play college soccer so I know how to blast a ballsack!). I feel a little bad about what happened but he is now saying he never mess with a girl again and he even wears an athletic cup all the time to protect his remaining family jewel. My girlfriends on the soccer team now call me the "nut remover" and say I should hang up a fake pair of nuts like a hunting trophy on a tombstone background with the words "RIP Brian's Nuts-Destroyed By Girl Power" since I sent his nuts to "nut heaven." Other people say I should hang up a guy's athletic cup as a symbol of female power over male weakness (guy's nuts are so vulnerable and they need the extra protection). Any other good nicknames? And what should I hang up? The nuts? The cup? Both? The more names and ideas the better! Be creative! Just wish more girls could experience blasting a jerk's balls! It is such a great feeling seeing a supposedly tough guy go down with one kick. Must suck to have nuts. They are just two targets dangling between a guy's legs! One shot and it is all over. |

I got very close with this male I told him things that I had never told anyone over a period time of a year, after doing some checks on the internet turns out he wasn't real it was my close friends old friend who made a fake account .this made me not trust anyone I always cried, it completely shut me down. Till this day I don't really trust anyone I still find myself crying all the time and I hate myself, my looks, my personality everything people say I'm too nice I let people walk all over me but I do that because when I was younger I was bullied and I wouldn't want people treated like I was but I still hate myself is it right to wake up and hate your reflection I tend to keep everything to myself because my mum doesn't listen I'm alone ! We used to talk and chat daily for hours, he loves a girl in our school and he tells me everything about his feelings towards her and i was helping him a lot with thay girl but one day, we decided to hang out me and him and one of our friends, then he showed me a video where he and our friend are making fun of my advices and the way i talk about that girl he used to love... I was shocked. I though he kept this subject secret between us and all the stuff i told him about that girl, and i don't know if he told that friend ( that i don't trust ) about my other secrets. From that day, he didn't even texted me asking if i was disturbed about what he did. It's been like 2 weeks we didn't talk, and didn't chat. I'm still waiting for his apologize. Part of me says I should because I don't want them to find out via social medias and get pissed. The other part of me says no I don't owe them anything. | Question: I'm so annoyed with him, what did I do wrong? Posted: 18 Jun 2015 12:19 PM PDT I had been planning to see my boyfriend on Friday since Sunday. Then on Tuesday he said I should Thursday instead so he has more days to spend with me before he leaves to go up north for work. Yesterday he was really busy and I wasn't able to talk to him about our plans. This morning he texted me saying he loved me and sent me a funny video. I texted him back and then asked if I should still plan to come today or if tomorrow worked better. I said I was ready to take the 4pm bus but if it didn't work to let me know. He replied back saying "why?" I explained that before I got on the bus (two hours) I wanted to make sure it was all good. I then said I would just take the 4 like we planned at that was it. Nothing else from him. I don't know what I did wrong? Sometimes my boyfriend will play around with me and I wasn't sure if he's doing that or what. I also called and no answer. He said he really wanted to see me so I don't understand. Should I go like we planned? |

Posted: 18 Jun 2015 12:18 PM PDT there is this friend which i had a lot of good times when we were at high school and now its been two years since high school and i talk to him mostly on the internet coz i dont wanna lose my contacts with him but he doesnt really use social networks so much he is studying in another city and says that he has to work hard to pass the exams the deal is that its been like two or three times i write to him and he sees the message and does not reply and its making me really mad because i typed a lot and i asked something he saw the message and not replied this has happened before he sees the message and not replied but i just did not make it a big deal i dont know why would someone see the message not reply i guess he doesnt want to be friends anymore but i just loved him like my brother he was super nice when we were friends in high school i thought we would always be friend i always wanted friends like him i cant forget how much fun we did have in high school i dont want to lose this friend but if you guys think i have to move on i will do it !! any advice thank youu :) |
| Question: At what point should one end a friendship? Posted: 18 Jun 2015 12:12 PM PDT I'm a girl, and this friend and I are very close on an emotional level, much more than with our other friends.. The lines became blurry when we almost dated, because he claimed to be in love with me, but I quickly backed out. I now know he's gay, so I'm not too sure what the whole romance part was about. Our friendship is strange. We have periods of intense happiness, and then I go through times of resentment and bitterness. He's very carefree, I'm much more grounded, and I can't stand how little efforts he makes to see each other. On the other hand, he always calls me when he needs help (and sometimes a lot of it), but after that... nothing much. On the long run, our friendship exhausts me. It makes me so happy sometimes, but so miserable also... When I said this to him, he said that I made myself miserable -- which is true! It hurt me that he didn't try to be more understanding, but I also realised I was suffering too much compared to him. So I quit talking to him, it's been two weeks now. And the strange thing is... I went from being the almost "clingy" one (he would always accuse me of being "too sensitive", but I'm not like this with any other of my friends! he's just so cold, it drives me nuts!) to being indifferent. I don't know if it's a kind of self-defence mechanism because I care too much, or if that's really the truth of our relationship. What do you think this means? Should I try to mend things, or does our friendship sound unhealthy to you and should be ended? |

I ve improved over this year, however. I ve gained some, hard when you ve been with the same class for eight years, and consider my self close to them. However, this summer I just haven t been able to find stuff to do outside my house. I ve already done a play. But otherwise I can t find anything to do in our town. We have a pool and a park. That s it. I ve tried to contact my friends but they ve all got jobs or want to not leave their house. I looked for a job way too late and can t find one. I know rookie mistake but I m 14. My dad is angry at me. He says I m wrong and I probably don t have friends. He s seems to think that if I go with him to work I ll be fixed. I won t. At his work last year, all he did was have me sit in a chair pretty much. |
