| Posted: 23 Jun 2015 05:01 PM PDT Okay so I'm an idiot and did not complete my housing offer. Long story short, they put me on a wait list and it isn't guaranteed I will get a dorm. I'm stressing like crazy because UC irvine is like 7 hours away from my house. I have no idea what to do, when I should find an apartment, and how much financial aid will cover. So like my aid award is around $32,000. Since I might not be living in a dorm, will that affect my aid award in any way? I'm soooo lost. Help meeeee 😩😩. And my mom isn't gonna help me with any of my stuff at all so that's outta the question. |

I can't really go with friends Because all of them either turned their back on me or judged me in middle school and im trying to avoid them , too much negativity . But i want to start Socializing. There are a couple of people at break that sit alone and all but my anxiety just tells me to not talk to them . I feel like if i go up to them im not going to be wanted . Ive been alone most of the summer , no friends , alot of bad online drama. And im sick of it ! I dont want to be depressed or socially awkward for highschool or for the rest of the summer . She got mad and started yelling at me saying I never have time for her and always ties the root of our problems to the fact that I have a boyfriend. She always blames him for why we can't hang out even if it's family business. I don't know what to do because she's pretty much all I have. I lost so much because all of my other friends hated her and I guess now they hate me. I just don't know what to do. I'll probably be all alone when school is back in. Can anyone help me?? I just don't understand how someone wouldn't want to help their mother and treat people with respect. |

This is out of the topic , but I have another small problem.. My bestfriend are really grumpy against me and when I tell her what I feel about it she just get mad. Today I told her no to be with her and her friends, because I had my personal reasons (they wanted to go swimming but im on my period and neither do i have bikini) she told me it was okay, but later this day I told her i'm not doing much and see just blurted out that I'm never out.. I am actually.. I told her I ditched her ONE time for reasons and she replied coldly that she don't wanna invite me out or stuff because I'm like this.. And that's when I felt extremely lonely.. I was friends with pretty much everyone in my grade and had 5 best friends. I switched to public school for high school, and I like the school so much better, but not the people. I have lots of friends that I hang out with at school, but that's pretty much only because I see them everyday. I don't have any friends at my new school that I actually want to see this summer. It's so hard because I have been hanging out with my best friends from my old school this summer, but we drifted a lot during 9th grade because we don't live near each other, so we rarely saw one another. I miss having them at school so much, but I cannot go back to private school, and honestly I wouldn't want to. I tried so hard to like the people at my new school, but I really just don't. I'm going into tenth grade and I don't know what to do. I'm so sad. |

Most of my friends growing up have been relatively conservative (in "experiencing" things) and I suppose that started with me choosing to hang out with kids that are studious and "nerdier" and choose to stay away from bad influences. I understand this and have tried to get other friends who might be interested in doing more activities, ie; things that aren t so kid-friendly and actually do things that most high schoolers do. However, it s just not happening, and I really want to try smoking pot at least once before high schools up, and getting drunk as well, just to see how it is so I have a little experience before college. I do think it s an important part of growing up even if it is a stupid thing to do for the most part. I know a lot of people that do this (they probably don t know me) and have parties, and stuff, but I m never really invited because I ve always come off as prudish and conservative and against partying due to who I hang out with, etc. My question is how do I get the high school experience? |

I speed-dialed and chirped, "I sold my book!" She answered with, "My sister was just diagnosed with breast cancer again." She was in a rush to get off the phone but I hurriedly blurted out the amount of money I'd sold the proposal for. I was just so proud and, frankly, relieved. I knew as soon as I heard the connection click off that I'd been insensitive. -(They end up not speaking for seven years). I don't think it's all the Author's fault, and it is weird that her friend interruped with a new (and grim) topic, but at the same time: A Cancer scare is AN EXCEPTION, and DOES trump a book deal. But to be clear: I think both of 'em should've communicated about their issues first, before deciding to part ways. Your opinion? |

Anyway, I saw him recently at a party and he cornered me in a hallway. He started getting agitated and then said we "had to get back together." I said "no" and started to walk away when he grabbed my arm and twisted. I broke free and kicked him as hard as I could right in the balls with my pointed cowgirl boots! After I rocked his babymakers, he fell down and puked while I stood over him and asked him if he could taste his nuts. His face was priceless! I guess I nailed him so hard his nuts swelled up to the size of oranges and one ruptured and had to be removed (I play college soccer so I know how to blast a ballsack!). I feel a little bad about what happened but he is now saying he never mess with a girl again and he even wears an athletic cup all the time to protect his remaining family jewel. My girlfriends on the soccer team now call me the "nut remover" and say I should hang up a fake pair of nuts like a hunting trophy on a tombstone background with the words "RIP Brian's Nuts-Destroyed By Girl Power" since I sent his nuts to "nut heaven." Other people say I should hang up a guy's athletic cup as a symbol of female power over male weakness (guy's nuts are so vulnerable and they need the extra protection). Any other good nicknames? And what should I hang up? The nuts? The cup? Both? The more names and ideas the better! Be creative! Just wish more girls could experience blasting a jerk's balls! It is such a great feeling seeing a supposedly tough guy go down with one kick. Must suck to have nuts. They are just two targets dangling between a guy's legs! One shot and it is all over. |

They are all brilliant and genius people that ace pretty much everything while I range from 80-90% grades. I try my best in everything I do, study a lot and I take online tutor sessions yet I don't do as well as them. Now for me it takes a little longer to grasp concepts and I'm a bit slow. Sometimes my friends get mad at me or "jokingly" make fun of me and call me stupid. Don't get me wrong they're great people but that stuff hurts my feelings. I told my boss that I did have a friend who was looking for a job but was fired from her last job. This is true, but now my boss doesn't want to hire my friend. I did want this to happen, because I personally do not want to work with any of my friends. But this friend would have made a good employee and really needs a job. Of all my friends, this one has been most loyal, and would have gotten me a job if the roles were reversed. I screwed up her chance of getting a job. I did have reason. My friend was fired from her last job for going to work late and showing up high. The actual reason she was fired was because she missed work for her grandmas funeral. It's just that if she ever showed up late or high, it would look bad on me as well because she is my friend. I did have reason for not helping her out, but I broke all unsaid friend loyalty rules. One of my coworkers overheard me say what I said to my boss, and now I think that my coworker does not think I am a good person. I also may quit my job soon (that's another story). What I'm asking is your own opinion of me, like am I a bad person for not wanting to help out my friend? I think I am, but is there anything I can do to fix it? |

I try my best and study very hard but it really lowers my self confidence when ever they rejoice about their amazing marks which has made me cry at school many, many times. I hate it when ever they complain in front of me about what they got when I would be really happy if they got it and they know that. It takes me a while to pick up concepts and I'm a slower learner than them and it really makes me upset how I just feel so left out. I'm basically in tears while I type this because we just received our exam marks and they got 98% and I received an 80%. They kept celebrating in front of me so I just left and I feel so stupid and worthless right now. I hate this and now matter how much I try (always my very best) it's never enough. I'm not good at conversations, I'm afraid they will think I'm weird or boring. I'll start with the way she acts. We just became friends only a year ago, but she is SO clingy to me. Since its summer, she always has to hang out with me every single day, because she "doesn't have any other friends" when she really has plenty of other friends to hang out with. She also texts me and calls me at 3 in the morning until I wake up and answer my phone, and then she says "why didn't you answer my calls you're so lame and I'm so bored" when she knows I get up early to go to summer camp. She also treats me like a piece of crap, she'll insult me, and when I tell her to stop, she doesn't stop, and continues saying whatever she was saying. She copies literally everything I do, and likes my likes, and dislikes my likes. She thinks I have a crush on every boy I talk to, and then she goes "oooh you totally like him" and embarrasses me. The worst part of her is that she has super low hygiene. She never showers, or wears deodorant, so every time I'm near her, I just want to throw up because all I can smell is her armpits. She's also a slut (somehow) She would suck anyone's dick, or show her ****, and then tell me about it. I really don't know what to do about her, and I don't know if I'm over reacting or something. Me and that girl hung out in the boy's room with them and it was funny but then my brother(16) decided to go to a shop with the oldest other boy( also 16) and I was there with this girl and her brother(14). This guy that is 16 left his laptop open and we went on it and watched yt vids and stuff but at the end we saw some essays by him and edited them funny and then made our own. When they came they thought it was funny and so did I, we were rude to each other( in a friendly way) and when the oldest guy said something mean about me I will respond too. I stayed up until 00:30 am with them, we laughed and it was cool, then my mom came at me really mad and said that I should go to bed and when I went, she caught me on the hallway and said that I have started to be easy around boys ?! like wtf I felt so disgusting that my own mother said something like that to me !!!!!!!!! I do not LIKE any of those guys, we know each other for a Long time but srsly now, my mom embarrassed me so much !!! she said I would let them be rude to me and stuff but I didn't ?! How can I make her stop thinking that ? she said we'll discuss tommorrow but we really have no time and anyways I am afraid that if I talk anymore to any of those guys she will think I flirt with them and such.. :( |

Last summer, i spent over half of the hours on my phone. Now I realize it's hurting me. I sit in my room for 12 hours every day and I don't eat much anymore or drink or get exercise. I have one friend and my boyfriend. Boyfriend is on vacation other friend is also on vacation. I have headphones on all day and I think it's because of my "I don't like to listen to the sound of people eating drinking or rummaging through a bag" problem. I call from my cell and the number was blocked. Cause I need to talk to him prior to bbq. he didn't answer after most likely knowing the At it was me at that particular time calling from a blocked number. He texted saying you need a ride. I said yes. Anyways he had someone who lived near me and was going to the bbq to pick me up. He arrived to the BBQ 30 mins after me and some of the others arrived. He came to the table where me and some friends were already sitting. He noticed I was not talked and irately da bout what he did regarding the phone calls. He said in a rather rude way I am not going to answer a blocked call you can text me. Wasn't there a nicer way he could have handled all this? He was the one sorta of begging me to come to this bbq. Considering I came despite the fiasco. He could have handled the situation better. If you know someone feels bad/ dissapointed you shouldn't make it worse with a rude response back. |

Then we had a falling out when she found out I got back with my ex. This is where the blame is on me. She did take me and my kids in when he tossed me on the street for a younger girl and she was there when I was upset when he kept my daughter from me for 7 months. And I lied to her about getting with my ex. I hurt her and I was sorry for that. She eventually wrote me back saying she missed me. I had already broke up with my ex again. But she was more different. She tried coming over more but it was more for my kids. We grew apart. Then on the day my dad died she ended our friendship. Said I was being heartless to my sister who I was mad at but that I should set that aside to put my dad at peace. She told me I've changed buts it her who's changed. We haven't talked. She deleted me off Facebook but about a month later added me back but hasn't tried talking to me. I'm really worried I've lost her. She always was there for me and now she's getting too far away. What should I do? |

Posted: 23 Jun 2015 02:25 PM PDT I Have been watching a lot of videos online and ended up on the deep web and I think I may have gotten a virus of some sort slowing down my computer, I took my laptop to geek squad and little did I know I forgot to delete my 500 gb of porn I have on my laptop that I have used to calm down whenever I get traumatized from violent videos online, So I returned to pick up my computer and they asked me if this was my personal laptop, I said no it's my friends laptop, the chick told me well it seems it's slow because of these videos downloaded onto the laptop and all the saved links to porn sites. She said I think you should have a talk with your friend, I said yeah I agree and left. Few days later I went to a party with one of my friends and in the party the girl was there, after a while my friend was chatting her up and i came from behind so I didn't see her face till the moment I said wasup my nizzle, she turned around , my eyes immediately raised I panicked as I remembered she was the one who scanned my laptop and fixed it, She looked disgusted at me and my friend and left our site, my friend asked if i knew her I said no not at all forget her, he seemed upset the whole night and has been since the event, Should I tell him what happened he relayed seemed to like her but I think it could ruin our friendship. |

True friends don t need to get each other birthday gifts they just need to eat brunch together 4for more than 5 hours. He s in his 20s as am I. So I only have one group of friends, and they've been my only friends since I first moved here (about 3 years ago) Most of them are nice, but there is one girl who Is very self centered and narcissistic. For some reason, everyone just goes with it. If she becomes manipulative or even physically violent they will ignore it because immediately after she breaks down crying and starts making excuses. She has even hit me a couple of times, but everyone didn't seem to care or believe me. Of everyone in the group, I am the only one who tells her no and she targets me the most. She contently separates me from the group. Sometimes I feel like I should just leave the group, but I still really care about the others, and she is contently becoming more controlling of them. Also, they were the only people who talked to me when I first moved here, but now they just ignore me. and i know it sounds dumb, but I'm afraid if I try to make new friends, they will do the same thing. We're both very down to earth, so the conversation flowed pretty good, yet she hides her interest very well. I only assume she's interested because she keeps agreeing to hang out with me. About 20 minutes into talking, I asked her if she would want to go to Six Flags soon... she replied something like "yeah, sure I love rollercoasters" and then went onto talk about how her brother doesn't like them, the last times we both went etc.. About an hour later as we were about to leave, I said "you don't have to go to Six Flags if you don't want" I didn't want her to feel pressured in any way to go, and she replied, "no it's fine, it should be fun"... and then we quickly talked about music and other topics. My first group was one I only became friends with because I was lonely, they were annoying, loud, and most of them I hated. They would wear dresses with no shorts or tights under (Just their UNDERWEAR!) on windy days on purpose when the guys would be on the field. I drifted away, then, talked to another group of girls, but I never really became friends with them. I moved over to the boys table( (I liked that group the most, but never stayed) but they made sex jokes way too often, which I tried to ignore, but someone was making a joke, which I was joking "Ha, yea sure, I M A MANLY MAN!!!" one of the guys said "Well then, why do you have boobs that stick out like watermelons?" I mean, WE RE IN 5TH GRADE, I know they re at that age but still. The next day, I sat with a 2 other girls, but I was annoyed by them. They hated a lot of people, people hated them, and I felt like I was a babysitter, and being their friend was WORK. I stayed with them until the end of the school year, and I was so happy when I left. I have no friends to talk to, and I really want to make a good group of friends. I don t talk to random people, or to people about random things, so I'm shy. I want to have friends who I can trust with telling my problems, and trusting them enough to know they wont tell anyone. I am fairly certain she is a manipulative personality. I read a bit about manipulative people and she fits all of it. She is constantly negative, scoffing at everything and makes this disgusted sound all the time. She blames me for all her problems and says I am never there for her. She wanted me to drop everything like my friends to be with her because she was mad at one of them. She makes other huge requests also and when I say I can't do that she gets mad. Also I noticed she does the thing I read about where she acts drastically different around different people. Like she is sickeningly sweet and polite to some people (like to the point where its so cheesy I'm amazed) and then will be incredibly rude and put down some people all the time. I'm so annoyed at this point but don't know what to do. When ever I'm actually faced with her I'm too weak to stand up for myself. Help |
