I've been engaged for about a year, and me and my fiancé are finally ready to start planning a wedding. We have a 7 month old and I just bought a house. Our budget for the wedding probably could only be around $500-$700. Both of our families couldn't pay for really anything because neither of them really have a lot of money either. Ever since I was little I dreamed about having a church wedding. I just wish I could afford it.. has anyone ever had a nice wedding with a $500 budget? Any ideas? Please no mean comments!

So my friend is getting married and we are making centerpieces for her shower. Her colors are coral and beige. I started making these centerpieces but I feel I need some coral color on it somewhere. Any suggestions??

My best friend wants to throw me a bachelorette party and we are wanting it to have strippers, drinks and things like that but the problem is my sister who is my maid of honor is only 16 and our mother don't want her to attend. Last night my girl got completely wasted and I had to go pick her up from a friends. It not really normal for my girlfriend to drink because she hates the taste of alcohol but for some reason she did it last night. On the way to my place the was mumbling things, thought it was cute. Got home and let her lay on my chest and she said I wanna marry you, then started singing Bruno mars marry you. She then told me what she thought of me and how much she loved me. Her last words before she fell asleep was marry me lol. My fiance and I live about 2,000 miles away from our families. We have 2 options for our wedding... 1) have it here where we live and who ever can come, can come. 2) have a wedding back in our home state and invite our closest family and friends. The only week we can both take off together is the week of 4th of July. We are from New England and would have a coastal wedding. 4th of July weekend is pretty busy any where near the coast, but it would be much more calm on that Monday. No one would be traveling from out of state, besides us, so there is no need for hotels or air fare for any guests. Im just a little hesitant about booking it. Would you attend a wedding on a Monday and/or July 4th? Is it rude even with a considerable amount of notice for guests?

I understand that one thing is the marriage licence which has the same cost in all the Texas state, but then you need to find someone to marry you (this is what I'm asking), are there free marriage officiants?

It's an indian wedding so it is a little different culturally... I will be exploring London when I come back from Paris. I'm trying to hit 2 birds with one stone.
