In the past, bought them both gift for house warming, b/d, xmas, no thank you whatsoever, why should I spend more on them? |
Question: Can I ban selfie sticks at my wedding? Posted: 26 Jun 2015 05:01 PM PDT I m getting married next year and a lot of my family members are avid selfie stick users. I find selfie sticks to be really annoying and a safety hazzard. Also I don t want them to get in the way of our photographer. |

Question: Should we travel to our friends or have them come to us? Posted: 26 Jun 2015 12:57 PM PDT We currently live in San Diego but are moving to Arizona next year, a 6-7 hour drive. We are debating if we should hold our wedding in San Diego since most of our friends live here, or hold it in our new city and hope people drive or fly to our wedding. My fiancé and I think it is less rude if we have it in the city where most of our guests live, but my mother and her mother say that people because its 7 hours away people should need to travel to it. Opinions? My mother and my fiancés mother* |
Question: South Indian Wedding Planning? Posted: 26 Jun 2015 10:47 AM PDT I need help. Me and my girldfriend are planning a wedding for next year and we both come from an Indian background. We both want a smaller wedding, but the American/Indian culture here today usually has couples having boring, large, spectacles of a wedding. My parents want us to have a wedding about the size of 700 people and we are trying to compromise, but they want an all or nothing answer from me and threaten to not come to the wedding if we do not invite 300 extra people from the community who we have no tie with. I don t like disappointing anyone, but I feel like in this case, it is inevitable. |
Posted: 26 Jun 2015 10:01 AM PDT I was asked to be a bridesmaid in early April of this year, 2015 and they decided to plan the wedding for this year in early October. It is now late June and I haven't been asked to do anything. I know the wedding is on Oct 3, the bridal shower is on Sept 5, but other than that nothing, no times, no location, I have no bridesmaid dress. I told them I would buy their cake topper when I was first asked as their wedding gift. I haven't heard from the girl since May. I'm starting to think she don't want me in the wedding anymore but don't want to tell me until she has her cake topper. Am I being used? What should I do? I've been trying to get ahold of her, but she won't answer the phone. She doesn't work or drive & I thought it would be a rude to just show up at their house. I saw her sister 2 weeks ago & I asked her a few questions about the wedding. She told me her & the other sister had already picked out bridesmaid dresses & that another bridesmaid had dropped out. I asked where I needed to get my bridesmaid dress from & she said she had to go, that she would email me the dress, she don't have my email. |
