Question: Taking time off work for a Wedding? Posted: 25 Jun 2015 09:51 PM PDT I am part of a wedding party and the bride has informed me that I must take a week off work before her wedding? Is this normal practice? I have taken off the day before off for the wedding rehearsal and help her set up for the reception. Thank you, :) I also don't live in her area so I would need to pay for accommodation for the week. |

Question: Invite kids to the wedding? Yes or no? Posted: 25 Jun 2015 07:50 PM PDT My fiancé has about 8 kids on his side of the family. We are close with the kids, however, one of the girls has taken a special liking to me. My concern is that she will be all over me all night while I'm trying to dance or talk to people. And I'm also worried that others guests won't dance because the kids will be dancing or running across the dance floor. I don't know what to do about inviting them. I am really torn. |

Question: I got a weird wedding invite and don't know how to respond.? Posted: 25 Jun 2015 06:49 PM PDT It mentions a cash bar, a ridiculous white tie attire, no children, a money dance and to top it off I live in another country. It also includes a link to a registry which has over 600 items on it, nothing under $100. What do I do? |
Posted: 25 Jun 2015 05:29 PM PDT So we sent out wedding invites a few weeks ago and have gotten some rather rude calls and letters in return. The invites read as this: (Our names here) request your presence at (location of wedding ) on (time and date) for the ever lasting binding of our joy and love. Included with the invite we inserted a small piece of paper with: A link to our wedding registry. Details about the cash bar. Details about the money dance. A "white tie" dress code strictly enforced warning. And a message saying we are requesting no children at our wedding. I've been getting calls and emails telling me I am a horrible and selfish person, why? |
Question: How do I make myself look better for my fiance? Posted: 25 Jun 2015 05:23 PM PDT I am getting married in 2 months and I want to look as good as possible for my fiance when we get married and go on our honeymoon. I know she already thinks I am good looking and all that but I just love her so much and want her to be as happy as possible. I was thinking about hitting the gym a few times a week and working towards that six pack I have always wanted, and trying to tone my arms a little more, but I heard that those arent as attractive to women as I thought. I looked it up online and saw that most women prefer a guys personality over looks which kinda sucks because she obviously likes my personality enough, otherwise she wouldnt marry me, but I want to make myself look better for her when we have sex. Is a six pack the way to go? Or should I focus more on my arms/legs? What should I do to make her as happy as possible on our honeymoon? |

Question: What do you think of when you hear the word 'royal'? Posted: 25 Jun 2015 04:17 PM PDT I am having a royal sweet sixteen pretty soon. The venue is rented and the food will be taken care of soon. I'm just very unsure about decorations. I want something elegant, but not expensive per say. Loose glitter is out of the question because the venue won't allow it, and so are candles and balloons. I want something sort of like a princess ball would be. I just don't want a princess themed party. Something the guys will enjoy too. Any suggestions for decorations, or some sort of inspiration. I uss pinterest waaaaay too much, but they do have a bunch of great ideas. Thanks! |
Question: Songs to play while I walk down the aisle? Posted: 25 Jun 2015 03:25 PM PDT Basically wedding ceremony songs. |
Question: What is a good website to order wedding invitations? Posted: 25 Jun 2015 01:10 PM PDT I was hoping to be able to have them filled in when I order, not order blank ones. I don't want them to be too expensive. If anyone has any good website recommendations I would be seriously grateful. In the U.S. I was hoping for a website that had a number of invitations to look at, one that would possibly cater to many budgets and many style options as well. I personally want to see invitations that are less than $2.00. I know they are out there, I have seen them, I have ordered samples, I want to find more, possibly from sites that aren't as well known. |
Question: Starting up a venue rental Package is it too expensive? Posted: 25 Jun 2015 12:40 PM PDT I recently came into renting a venue and I made a small package so it could be rented to people for 4 hours plus 1 hour extra for cleaning time. for 50 people it's $300 it includes -venue -tables -chairs -Principal Table -cake table -Bar area -refrigerator -2 microwaves - white table cloths - dance floor with some lights plus a $200 security deposit but it will be given back a day after the event just to make sure no damages have been done and if venue is clean with trash removed is it a good price? |
