Question: Cheap elopement package in Virginia? Posted: 01 Sep 2017 04:23 PM PDT I'm looking for an elopement package that's in a very pretty area, like the mountains. Dont want to spend alot of money at all but want it to be a good memorable night that we will never forget and wont regret the location |
Question: How long do/should most people date before getting engaged? Posted: 01 Sep 2017 08:31 AM PDT I tend to hear that apparently most people know by two years whether they want to marry the person or not. Do you think this is true for most men? If a man was happy in his relationship, would he automatically propose after two years? If he didn t, does that mean something is wrong? What about if he claimed he wants to be financial stable before doing that? I mean on the one hand it makes absolute sense to be logical about it, on the other hand people also tend to say that when a man really wants to marry a woman he will just go for it and propose. "aka I know we don t have a lot between us but I also know I want to marry you" etc We are coming up to our two year anniversary and people are starting to ask questions - you know the kind. I literally had a client come in after some months of being abroad and he asked me "so, are you married yet?" Uhhh, I m not even engaged FFS. I am 25 and he is 29 and I get that you need money to be married etc but I don t really care about a fancy ring at this point, I just want what it symbolises (bonus points given for a ring though, ofc, let s be real) If we got engaged now, we could spend the next year or two planning and saving. Personally I d elope if I have to, he wants a small outdoors ceremony so it would definitely not be expensive. We are both in low-paid jobs anyway so I really don t think that one day we are going to end up with a tonne of money. What do you think? |
