The first time they broke up, it was because he was smoking synthetic weed and apparently almost died twice (I'm not exactly sure how true this story is. But I do know that he was smoking synthetic weed and she did not like that.) Anyways, they were broken up for almost a year before she got back together with him, much to the dismay of my family. Then, after a year of dating, they started arguing a lot again. She ended up becoming pregnant and I think that she thought it would make him stay with her and treat her better. It didn't. He left her alone at the house almost every night and barely made it in time to see the baby being born. Then, he did nothing to help out with the baby once she was born. They eventually got into a huge fight where he put his hands around her throat and slammed her into the wall, while she was holding their child. Cops were called and he ended up being arrested and he's looking at being charged with endangering a child and possibly domestic abuse or whatever. Recently, my family found at that they are in contact, yet again. None of us understand why she is doing this, as the only reason she can give is that he's her best friend. Has anyone gone through this with their family members before? Any tips on convincing her that this relationship isn't good for her or her child? |

It was our first relationship for the both of us. It was passionate but also very rocky. I was always unsure of how I felt because about him. He was the one who ultimately broke up with me (he said the spark wasn't there anymore and in a way I kinda agreed). This was my first break up so I was devastated. Since then, every few months for the past year and a half he either texts me or sends me drunk messages/snapchats. I used to give in and text him back. We would eventually meet up and talk. However, a common theme was that it led to him trying to have sex with me. I never gave in because why would I after someone broke up with me? I didn't want to be used. Eventually our texting would taper off and I wouldn't hear from him. I feel like maybe he begins to miss me but then we meet up and he realizes why he broke it off in the first place. Anyways a few months go by and then he once again texts me and the cycle repeats. In March I noticed on social media that he had a new gf. I was kind of relieved because I felt like "okay he has found someone new and has moved on and now I can completely move on too." Well a month ago I look down at my phone and he has drunkenly snapchatted me. I did not respond. And then yesterday night he did the same thing and I did not respond. Individual Classes are held twice a week over 4 days, so basically there's a Mon/Wed class and a Tues/Thurs class. I'm in both classes. She doesn't work. She sat in the back and the door is in the back of the room (she usually sits in the back). When I was walking in the hall about to get in the room, she turned and looked at me for a brief moment and then turned her eyes down to the right, not her head. Her head was still turned so that I could still see most of her face. Her eyes were still facing where that she could still pay attention to me without directly looking at me, it wouldn't be the first time she's done that. Some girl mentioned that's what she was doing but that's just speculation. It could've been out of shyness, but I have no idea why that would be. | Question: Why did this girl on Plentyoffish block me? Posted: 10 Sep 2017 06:33 PM PDT I am on a dating site called: "Plentyoffish" and I messaged a girl. It wasn't an inappropriate message at all. It just said: "Hi there, I read your profile and saw your favorite band was: "Incubus." What are you favorite songs from the band? Feel free to send me a message if you would like." It was something general like that but instead of her messaging me back or just ignoring me, she went to the extreme and blocked me! There was no reason at all. It was a great message too and I am also a very good looking guy as well in my picture. Why did she block me? Was this wrong of her?! I find that so rude. All she had to do was be up front with me if she didn't want to chat or at least acknowledge my message. |
| Question: Randomly met/talked to a nice guy at the park, I gave my number without him asking? Posted: 10 Sep 2017 06:32 PM PDT I go to a spot at that's off the trail I was there hanging out alone looking at the water. This guy comes down the path and he starts talking, he then starts to leave after it got silent and I said goodbye and he immediately turned around and said he thought he left his phone in the car. Long story short we hit it off, he played several songs on his phone of mutual music we liked, we talked a lot and we both were engaged and asked questions. There was definitely an attraction and flirting. He said he should go and I said we should hang some time, I gave him my # he didn't give his and I didnt want to ask. If he not into me if he didn't ask me out or my number. |
