Question: Did this kid ruin his life? Posted: 09 Sep 2017 12:15 PM PDT Dustin is 16 years old. He recently dropped out of highschool and got his GED. At 20, he didn't go to college, never stepped foot on a college but he does look at college girls, bites his lip and gets hard and sighs a little but he never talks to them and he's never called a girl beautiful. He still gets an allowance from his elderly foster parents Do you think Dustin ruined his life? |
Question: Am I being unreasonable? Posted: 09 Sep 2017 11:05 AM PDT My roommates best friend lives in Florida and my roommate offered him a place to stay in our guestroom after the storm if he has no home left. He planned to stay for 2-3 weeks with us until he finds a job in the area. I told her if he stays with us he needs to pay and that rent and all utilities need to be split 3 ways next month. My roommate is extremely angry with me. Am I being unreasonable here? I don't think it's fair she's allowing people to stay at our place without asking me first and just "telling me." here's what's happening. |
Posted: 09 Sep 2017 10:16 AM PDT I tend to by cautious and somewhat cynical by nature, so I've been hesitant about being a rebound after his 2 year relationship ended. They were living together and made a big move together as well. So it obviously was a pretty serious break-up. We started dating after they broke up, but were living together and trying to move out/figure out loose ends. He told me this too. I asked him pretty early on if he really thinks he's ready to date, and he claimed he was, but in my head I assumed this was more of a rebound thing than a serious relationship thing. As such, I've gone really slow with this. There have been times in the last 3.5 months where I hadn't seen him in a few weeks. I almost feel this is fine, though, as he probably wasn't completely ready. We've kept in touch this entire time though, so I wonder if this could actually work out around now given that more time has gone by. Thoughts?? Must add: the attraction between us is inevitably mutual - quite obvious. I'd like to think his feelings are, too. They seem pretty genuine as well (though one can never be certain of this since one's vision can get clouded) |
Question: Is it normal to dream about my crazy ex years after we broke up? Posted: 09 Sep 2017 09:13 AM PDT I'm not one of those guys who says all of my exs are crazy but this one genuinely was. Our first fight she gave me a very detailed description about how she was going to drown me in the bathtub. Not long after that I lost my phone for about three days. When I found it I had over 120 messages that were paragraphs long from her. After we broke up she called and threatened me on the daily telling me she knew where I lived and she was gonna kill me and a lot of other things. Then she started going around to my friends trying to paint me as a horrible abuser and she told some of them I raped her. Lucky for me my friends caught on that they were all getting different stories and didn't believe her. There was a lot more that went on but that was the major stuff. We broke up almost 4 years ago and I have moved and gotten a new phone number since so there is no way for her to contact me. Last night I had a dream that she moved into the house that's for sale just down the street from me and started coming over to visit. It was a very stressful and somewhat scary dream for me and I woke up even more tired than I was when I went to bed. Is this normal? |

Posted: 09 Sep 2017 08:36 AM PDT My bestfriend and I have an extremely close bond. She's special and she has even told me I am special to her. We've been through it all together in so little time. She's helped me through very low points in my life as I've with her.. We've talked at 3 in the morning because I needed advice about something, she's always there. she says our bond is special, she's 50 and I'm 19, she's always calling me and we talk for hours. I've cried on the phone to her as she has to me, we get a long really well with similar life experiences. She's told me how special I am to her, how I'm Family to her and how she'd be heart broken if anything ever happened to me. Which is special because shsss a blunt reserved person.. I've expressed how special she is to me. It's an unbreakable bond I feel. I want to just tell her I love her, I do. That's truly how I feel. I don't know when I'd ever say it but I want to. I believe she has said it I. Her actions but wondering when she will ever actually say it? Or ever feel the same ? As friends |
Question: Why do natural disasters cause people to leave their pets? Posted: 09 Sep 2017 07:36 AM PDT So I ve been scrolling through Facebook and I keep seeing videos of "rescuers risking their lives to save animals left behind in Harvey". Although it s touching it makes me wonder why in the world they are left behind in the first place?! If I was about to experience a natural disaster besides my human family my pet would be the very first thing packed into my car. Even if I was trapped and had to be rescued I would make sure my pet comes with me. To be honest it makes me believe that these people weren t very good owners to begin with. If you have a clue why or have had to leave your pet and would like to share your story please do because I would like to know. |
Question: How to deal with nosy roommate? Posted: 09 Sep 2017 07:19 AM PDT I'm 27 f, he's 66 m. Got into this place in a rush but I love it. He's nice and pretty generous, there's just a few thing that are weird. He is constantly asking me questions. He brings in the mail. Then hangs around for me to open it or asks me about it later. If I leave the house he asks me where I'm going, or what I did when I come back. Especially in the evening. If I leave the house in the evening to take a walk and talk on the phone. He rushes out of his room to meet me in the hallway and asks me where I was. Once I stepped out for a call after he went to bed. The next morning he asked me what time I got home last night. He asks me what I'm cooking. Tries to talk to me everyone I watch a movie in the living room. Is very particular about cleaning. I left some scrub pads in the tub after I cleaned it. He asked me through my bedroom door when I was going to bed. "Is there something I need to know about the tub?" When I walk through the door after work he's often waiting to ask me questions. It just feels tense, like I can't do anything and come home without being questioned about it. Rushing out of his room to catch me face to face in the hallway really bugs me for some reason. How do I set the tone to be more peaceful in the house? |
Question: Is it possible for men not to masturbate at all? Especially a virgin? Posted: 08 Sep 2017 11:28 PM PDT My boyfriend of three years claims he has never masturbated before, and never had the urge to. We live a state away, and have always lived that far because we met online, so we see each other on average once every two months. We are saving ourself for marriage, but we do mess around and foreplay together and basically do everything but actual intercourse. He said he never even did it as a teenager. How is it possible for a guy (he is in his early 20's) to never touch himself, especially when he has never had sex, and is only 'intimate' every few months. He is extremely open and I see no reason for him to lie to me, but I find it hard to believe. A few people have told me that is is physically impossible for a man not to touch himself because it is in their brain to relieve sexual tension. P.S. He has also never watched porn, or even thought about it. Come to think about it, I am the only woman he has ever seen naked. Is he lying to me, or does he somehow not have a sex drive? |
Question: Is it possible for men not to masturbate at all? Especially a virgin? He? Posted: 08 Sep 2017 11:12 PM PDT My boyfriends of three years claims he has never masturbated before, and has never had the urge to. We are saving ourself for marriage so we are both virgins, but we do mess around and get pretty close to intercourse without actually pursing it. We are also in a long-distance relationship so we see each other on average every 2 months for a little over a week. How is it possible for him not to want to touch himself? Especially when we only mess around once every few months, and he is still a virgin. He claims he didn t even do it as a teenager. He is very open and has no reason to lie to me about something so small. But other people tell me it is physically impossible for a man not to touch himself, and they say I am being lied. |
Question: Anyone truly happy with their life ? Posted: 08 Sep 2017 10:58 PM PDT I can really only remember one time in life where i felt truly happy, then it all just fell apart. It all just went horribly wrong. |

Question: What would you do if you saw your loved one die right in front of you? Posted: 08 Sep 2017 10:46 PM PDT No Killer, just dying suddenly. How would you feel? (I haven't personally experienced this...) |
Question: Feeling broken inside? Posted: 08 Sep 2017 09:40 PM PDT I feel broken inside my heart is torn apart. It feels like someone took my heart out of my chest and stomped it on the ground. My heart feels heavy I want to be free and light. Instead I feel restricted and hurt. My chest hurts really bad. I'm hurting really bad. I'm dealing with too much betrayal and I need people in my life who actually care for me. I know this won't happen, I've lost all my trust in people. I'm tired everyday feeling judged and never accepted. I want to go back to when everything felt normal. |

Question: Should my parents ground me for speaking English at home? Posted: 08 Sep 2017 04:50 PM PDT My parents are both from Puerto Rico, and they moved here before I was born. When I was little, they spoke to me in both English and Spanish, so I've always known both. Over the years, though, it's gotten harder to go back and forth, especially since none of my friends speak Spanish, and people look at you weirdly if you speak a different language. I hate speaking in Spanish, because sometimes I can't remember the word for something, or I'll end up translating something wrong, and it's such a hassle. But now, my parents think that I've lost my culture, and they refuse to speak to me in English, and they get mad at me if I reply to them in English. They even got mad at me for talking to my brother in English, saying that our house is a Spanish speaking zone, now. I freaking hate it! They even grounded me because I responded to them in English one time. Now, I barely even talk to them because I know they're going to get mad if I talk in English, and I don't want to talk in Spanish. Is this fair? Should they ground me for speaking English? |
