Physically he was exactly how I picture my perfect man, that includes an ethnic origin that is uncommon where I live and it's even less common for a guy of that ethnicity to look like him, on top of that he was also conventionally very attractive (is mistaken for a model) and so I was hitting a little above my league. He was also into the same music scene as I'm into, which in my city is a fairly small music scene and again even fewer men who are into this music scene look like him. Add his personality and it'd be even harder to meet someone like him again, frankly I thought it was an absolute miracle that I found him. Obviously he wasn't the perfect one for me, he turned out to be a jerk, but I'm genuinely scared I'll struggle to find anyone I'll be as attracted to as him or who will come anywhere close to being as good as he seemed. |

I think I've been battling depression because of my parents who have the need to control my life and everything I do. Im 20 years old and feel very trapped by my parents. One night came along that I could not take their crap anymore and probably hit my breaking point and as I was driving home from my boyfriends house (which they also hate and disapprove) I was going 140mph to somehow release the anger I had but at the same time was hoping that I would crash and die. I kept this a secret until I told my boyfriend a month later it happened. I told him I sometimes want to die and even told my mom because it would be so much easier that way. I told him i would never commit suicide and me speeding that day would be the closest ill get which will never happen again. He told me he loves me and that I don't have to hide this and can talk to him and doesn't think I'm crazy or anything. However as the week went on I realized he has been a little off lately and I can't pinpoint what it is but I can tell somethings off. Im just wondering if what i told him has been scaring him away and if ill lose him now or telling him that secret. |

But they were more as confused crushes from when I was queer. But this.. This girl is just amazing. She's drop dead gorgeous and has a full lipped smile graced from the heavens. She's funny, caring, nice, and awesome to be around. She's shorter then me and when she tilts her head up to meet my eyes it immediately makes me want to protect her. We always joke about one day having a "relationship." We even dubbed each other "wives" to one another. We snuggle and cuddle in classes (we have all classes together luckily for me), play with each others hair and ears (yes, ears). Maybe even the hem of each others sleeves. She'll lay her head in my lap, on my shoulder, or lean her back against my arm. We'll hug every time each other and scream "WIFFFEEYYY!!" But, she has a boyfriend. He's a complete and total jerk though, he harasses my friend too. I've brought this up to her and I guess she yelled at him about it because she felt bad for my friend. He says it's not that he's trying to pressure me into sex to prove my love to him. Rather, he feels he knows I love him, and he loves me; so, now that we plan to get married, he wants all of me. He feels like waiting for the wedding night is not a big deal since we're committed to being married. He thinks since I know he's the one now, a calendar day shouldn't matter. But throughout it all and over the years, when she is upset or hurt (when I upset her), she will call sometimes, not say anything, and sometimes stay on the phone for a while. Sometimes I hang up, other times, I don't, I try to say something sometimes but she almost never replies. Any ideas? It's obviously out of pain, but I don't quite understand this as a means of expressing pain. This particular time, she stayed on the phone for 50 mins, then hung up, then called back, then hung up, then called back....Does anyone have any ideas? (Obviously nobody will know except her, and even then, but like I said, just looking for ideas). Thanks. |

We've known each other since March but things didn't start to get serious until May when I went down to his office for the first time. Anyways, I'm thinking of ending things soon. The only thing that is holding me back is the fact that he booked a ticket for halloween weekend to see me (which isn't refundable), plus we're coworkers and I don't want any hard feelings. But should I? Here are the reasons: 1. Back in July, first he lied to me about not wanting a serious relationship because "he was going through some stuff and life is moving too fast for him". Then a couple of weeks later, he finally confesses that he's in a relationship with another woman who lives in Japan for a couple of years now, then she brought up marriage and that's when he realized that he's not into her. They've been on a "break" since that conversation, and he told me he prefers to be with me. BUT my main worry is - what if the same thing happens to me? 2. In addition to #1, he seems very scared of marriage or getting close. He says he has never seen a successful marriage and thinks all marriages fail. I mean, we have been "talking" for almost 6 months now and haven't been exclusive, which ties to #3... 3. Couple of weeks ago he went to a Comic Con with his friends. He showed me a picture of a girl who dressed up as IT and made a joke about messing around with her with a bag over her head.... ... which lead to a mini argument, but he hasn't made a joke like that again. 4. After I got back from visiting him a couple of weeks ago he became REALLY distant. I pointed it out to him, and he says he didn't realize. Sometimes I'm convinced that he does like me, but other times I feel like he's just super friendly. When I first met him, we didn't talk much. However, he started to sit with me in the dining hall if he saw me by myself(never when I was with a group), and basically forced me to talk to him. I quickly realized that we have a lot in common, and while we aren't the best of friends, he's super easy to talk to. He always makes an effort to talk to me when we see each other, and he always makes sure to ask me about my life, interests, etc. He also teases me quite a bit at times, and playfully argues with me. He's always saying how much he enjoys talking to me because I can usually catch on to what he's saying and he always learns something new. He'll even ignore his other friends until our conversation is over. I've always considered this to just be his personality, and that he was just really good with people. I also have recently discovered that he talks about me with his other friends. Like, I've met people that already knew who I was without ever meeting me because he has mentioned me to them. I've also noticed him pointing at me a couple times and saying things to his friends. Today was the first time I've talked to him in a while and we actually talked a lot. I was a bit confused because he said I looked pretty, and then pointed it out to 3 different people. I don't really know what to think. I'm honestly just really confused. |

And he said that I was a babeeeeh but also he's in a relationship. So yeah it hurt but we stayed close friends and talked everyday if not more. Posted: 29 Sep 2017 06:40 PM PDT I've been single a year after ten years off the market, in that time I've had one date that was great for us both but he ghosted, one date who was into me but no chemistry for me, one guy I dated three months but I ended it in March as he was a womanizer, and I just dated a guy for a week but he lead me on to use me then ghosted. I hate being single, it's not that I 'need' a man but I prefer to have a partner and I prefer the security of a monogamous relationship, being single is no fun if you're not into casual or hook-ups and dating to find a partner is nothing short of mindfucking hell on earth. On the one hand I need some time to get over the last guy (I get very invested very early on, so get hurt when it doesn't work out), but on the other hand I'm 34 and I want a kid so it's not like I can wait around, plus it's really hard for me to meet men so it may be better for me to be pro-active and try dating more men to improve my odds. I'd like to just meet someone in a cute casual way and have it work out, but not sure it works that way - I've tried dating apps and don't like them as it's like a meat market, not sure how else to find dates. |

They were working out near me, and they kept staring at me, even when they were far the kept looking at me. When I left the gym they left at the same time.
