So today I had my physical exam at the hospital and I was changing out of the gown things. So my dad walks( thinking the exam was over)in and sees me completely naked. I was mortified he immediately exited.

This all for the most part revolves around me trying lsd about a year ago and smoking weed about 5 times. my mom is beyond ashamed of me doing this, and she has every right. she's literally sacrificed every single possible thing to raise me in a good and healthy house, send me to a good school, raise me to be Christian, and even fight to keep her relationship with my dad together. they were on the verge of divorcing multiple times but she stayed with him so it wouldn't impact me. her parents divorced as well so she knows the effects of divorce. I just don't know. I feel like an absolute letdown, a disgrace. I feel like my mom offered me so many good things and I just spit on her. On top of it, I smoked with my cousin, but my mom doesn't know. My cousin is moving back from a different state, but she doesn't want me hanging out with him. Should I tell her I smoked with him? I've been clean from weed for about 4 months and I have decided to be completely straight edge but I don't know. I am so confused. My mom gets furious whenever I talk about my mistakes. I just can't move on. My mom constantly reminds me of what I did and I feel like I have no character. I have trouble resisting peer pressure. I really need some advice. please.

The breakup was very messy, and they think of me as if I am the Evil Queen even though he was the one who cheated on me and screwed up all the time. They even know all this but still think he's the angel and I overreacted with the breakup. Anyways, I had all his family, cousins, aunts and family friends on Facebook and Instagram, but I don't really mind keeping the extended family, however, having his brother and SIL really annoys me, especially because his brother looks at every single story I post on My Instagram stories. I am thinking of blocking the brother and unblock him right away, not for the sake of blocking his presence, but I don't want them to be aware of my new posts when I post my stuff. Especially because he thinks I am the bad guy of the story like I said before. Should I block him only? Or should I block him and his wife? Or should I block him, the wife and the rest of the family?

on my job, I get paid the minimum wage and it's 11.40$ an hour have my little apartment and pay for everything I need. My brother gets paid 30.58$ an hour and still live with my mom. My brother doesn't pay for anything he need and he never have money left from his paycheck My mom pay everything he need the other day I ask her if I could borrow her 50$ for diaper because I didn't have money until today and her response was NO YOU HAVE YOUR OWN MONEY she never let me money but my brother it's always yes he still owe her 5000$ from all the money he borrow from her and me I don't own her any money why she never want to help me out when I don't have a lot of money but my brother yes and he spend it almost all in the same day

I am happily married and chose not to have children because I think it is selfish with all of the children out there that need homes. When my sister in law became pregnant I made sure to let her know how wrong and selfish it is to bring another child into this world when she could adopt. They ended up having 2 kids anyway. My niece is now 19 years old. My niece wrote my dad (her grandfather) a thank you card for a recent birthday check and at the end she said good wishes to his sons John and Sam. I am Sammi (short for Samantha - I am a woman)! She is 19 years old, how can she think I am a guy? I tried getting revenge on my brother by telling him we were giving everything when we die to my other nephew and he just recommended his lawyer and said how important planning was. I then sent them back every picture I had of his kids that I received from my Mom over the years and his wife thanked me and said she had't seen those pictures in years! I really want revenge on them (not to physically hurt them) but to let them know they went too far if their daughter doesn't even know I am their aunt, not uncle! Any ideas please? These two are pretty clueless so far.

I have just recently moved back into with my mom since she got out of rehab; a little less than 6 months. I have moved schools, yet again, this being my 4th high school. We fight all the time. I turn 18 in February and I cant wait. I have a job and she makes me give her a $100 every pay check, leaving me with only $200. I pay for everything of my own Phone Bill, Food, Clothes, Gas, etc. I work 4-5 days a week, and I close almost every night. I am up from 5 am to 1 am, so I get maybe 4 hrs of sleep. My mom complains all the time that I never clean the house, but I do my laundry and clean my room and do the dishes when I have time. I have to sleep sometime, and have homework.This is my senior year, it s supposed to be fun but it s nothing but stressful due to the fact I have 0 money saved, I m in a new environment, and my mom won t leave me alone. She wants me to actually clean the house like dust and everything. She works from 8-5, 5 days a week and she goes to church on Wednesday and Sunday. She has time to clean the house how she wants it, but she only cleans it sometimes on Sunday "when she feels like it". Every time I try talking to her she yells at me and tells me I m grounded then wonders why I m so pissy. We just found out were expecting our first baby. We want to wait till Christmas and do some sort of thought out announcement to my parents. However, i'm second guessing it because. they already have 2 grandkids (technically my dads' a stepgrandpa since they are from his stepkids) and it seems... unnecessary? They never see the other grandkids because they live very far away..maybe twice a year at most. However, hubs and I live right down the street! So they'll be very involved with this grandkid. - My mom, she taught me never to spend one's own money. She is an elementary teacher. I went with her to the bank with her many times to deposit her check at the bank. She only spends my dad's money. - From my mom, I learned to save. She has pretty much every check after she got married in the bank. She taught me get interests from savings acocunt. Ever since I was a boy, she taught me that in order to get insterests, I had to agree to leave it in the bank, and not withdraw from it for a year. - My dad, he taught me to buy property. I can remember my dad buying houses, and empty lots ever since I was a boy. I remember that years, sometimes a decade later, sell it for a lot more money that he paid for it. - From my dad, I learned NOT to obsessed over money. My dad has never sued anyone. Tons of times, the people who rent in the houses that my dad owns, they just don't pay. My dad just lets it go. My dad has forgiven months sometimes years of back-rent to people. - My dad taught me to never get angry or grow a grudge over money. My dad says that God will always provide. Ever since I was a boy, I can remember many people asking my dad for money, only to never repay him. I think my dad expects people not to pay him back when he loans money. I know I shouldn't have but it's too late now. Well here's the thing, in my English course every month I used to get asked about my age from the teacher (to write stuff in diary) and I told him my birthdate. Last time (today) I went to take the certificate for finishing the course and he wrote my birthday 2002 instead of 2003. I came home and told my parents he said that because I was in a course with elder people and he didn't want problems, to get asked why is there a young guy with the 2002'th group. And they believed me first, but my dad wants to call my teacher to ask what's up. And if he does he will say that I told him my birthday was 2002, and they will not believe me anymore I don't want that to happen. I know the best option is to come through, but I don't want to do that. Can anyone please help me? BTW: My dad wants to confirm it because I'm going into an international test organized in my country to give away (we call them burses I don't know what that is in english) that you can go to US or England to study. I even told him that they won't need this paper, but he is confident about calling my teacher tomorrow.

Okay so I ******* can't stand living with my parents. They've been away for vacation for a week now and took my little brother and left me at my grandmother's (they wouldn't take me because I have school and even if I didn't I still wouldn't want to go) I don't call them even when they're away because I don't give a ****. I have autism and I am 21 and my parents treat me like a baby. I have a brother who is nearly 20 and a sister who is 18 and our parents treat them like adults. I am not allowed to go out alone. I am not allowed to drive or work. My mum works in a school as a classroom assistant and my mums school is the only place I am allowed to work, and I wouldn't even get paid for working with my mum. I always get left in the house with a babysitter, even if it is my younger brother or younger sister, and I can take care of myself. My parents said that in a few years time, they will move house and take me with them and leave my brother and sister and they say that I will not ever be able to live on my own. My parents talk to everyone about every aspect of my life I am not happy with in front of me and when they do that, it makes me want to cry. What can I do?

So my aunt works as a nurse in a hospital, one patient back in March there was a clairvoyant and pulled her aside and said she has a sister on property (correct... my mum) and he said on Oct 3 between 9-10am her little boy is going to get hit by a truck/bus and will be tragic... however she must tell her sister this to let her know to avoid this. I literally feel sick, my aunt hasn't said anything to my mum because she doesn't want to worry her. Does anyone reckon this sort of stuff is legit? The only reason i'm taking it seriously is because this guy told another nurse that her sister needs to get her pancreas checked ASAP- and turns out she had pancreatic cancer.. anybody able to ease my mind or should we take this seriously?

My sister was having a rough time so we allowed her to move in with us. She pays rent and buys her own food but she has an issue with boundaries. She ll just walk into our room, lay on the bed and start talking even though we have never said she can just walk in, and complains that we are shutting her out when we close the door. She acts like Its her house and she can do whatever she wants even when we have told her that shes here because we are doing her a huge favor. Shes so unappreciative and ungrateful for all we do to help her. She cant understand that i had a baby and Im not secure in my body. if I ask her not to wear shorts that show her butt cheeks or low cut tops around my husband, She ll say he s in love with you, not me. She has no car and we only have one so if she needed a ride somewhere we used to take her. I drove her to work and picked her up everyday for a year and probably got a total of 3 thank yous. we have tried talking to her and she says she will change but after a few days its back to where we started. My sister and her husband are obese, although she is severely obese. If I had to guess the weights, it would be sister around 550 lbs (she can hardly walk) and he s around 450. I m quite fat myself- our family has always struggled with obesity. i recently stayed with her and it hurt to see she s now so big she can t get off the couch without help. She laughed it off and said she d gained a few. She can waddle a few feet at most. Her feet swell sometimes from her lack of movement. The main issue is eating. She can just eat and eat. In my week stay, I ate some of what they ate and felt so bloated and sluggish the entire time. It s usually bacon, sausage, eggs, French toast, and some cake for breakfast, then she goes back to bed. Her husband gets off work in the early afternoon and wakes her with Burger King or McDonald s. He helps her to the couch and they eat together, about 4 burgers, plenty of fries, and a milkshake or mcflurry. She watches tv and snacks on chips, Oreos, plus a 2L orange soda til he makes dinner, which last night was several plates of lasagna, Mac and cheese, fried chicken, bacon, and mashed potatoes, and another 2L soda. I was shocked that after all that food they still get hungry around midnight, and usually order Pizza Hut (which she eats in bed). I m so worried by what I saw. i didn t want to lecture them, but I told her husband it d be nice if she cut back. he said (very non commitally) hed do his best to help, but he cant deny her. What can I do?

My sons little league basketball coach has been telling the players about power lifting recently and how great it is. He warned them about the dangers of possibly stunting their growth permanently or deforming cartilage long term, but also emphasizes constantly what an advantage it will give them right now. He basically asked them if they thought it was worth the sacrifice to win a ring in little league now. They all enthusiastically said yes, and they want to start power lifting like all hell and getting jacked out of their minds. I don't know what to say to him or my son, because they're both so gung-ho about becoming little league champions. They say this is the most important thing they'll ever do in their life and this is what they were born to do (even the coach). Should I let this meathead make my son lift weights a bunch? My parents came to visit since I m 40 weeks pregnant. My sister left my dad and I in the car with my niece while she quickly ran in to buy milk. My niece wouldn't stop crying or screaming. I was super tired and cramping like crazy and i told her in a strong tone to stop screaming. My dad then made a comment that from my reaction he can already see that i will be an impatient mother and perhaps even hit my kids. I began to cry and told him that i will do my best to be a good mother and i don't need him to be judgmental at this time but instead supportive. He then responded that I'm too sensitive and can't take the truth. The next day I told him that what he said the night before really hurt me he then said that he has nothing to apologize about because he was saying the truth. My mom then pointed out that they came to support not judge and he should apologize and he began to yell at her and made her cry too. At that point I told him that this is too much and he needs to leave A little more background. My dad is known in our family for always having something negative to say. He constantly offends people and doesn't get along with anyone which is why no one is close to him in our family. i am a 19 year old female college student. I come home every week because I got no one there and because my boyfriend lives here, in my hometown. My parents were aways strict, but my father works abroad and my mother is the worst. My mom is signer for my bail. My boyfriend paid for it though. she beats me. She makes sure she is fed and i go without. My dad just got locked up so i am living in hell. im 17. I kept getting arrested while i was younger due to me running away from home & ending up in bad situations. I just got out on bail. My boyfriend paid it but my mother signed for it. My mother is very abusive. My dad recently got locked up so we are without jobs. No vehicle bc it broke down. She takes my pictures and pretends to be me on the internet to get men to send money to our address using my legal name which is very unsafe for me . these men think they are talking to me. Ive asked her to stop multiple times & she wont. She barely lets me eat. She says she paid for it so it is hers. When i bring food home for myself she ll eat it also. She doesnt clean at all. My godmom bought me a phone so that i would be able to contact her bc my dad sold my phone while i sas in jail. She told me that it was bought for her & that my godmom hates me. I later found out it is my phone. She still will not give it back. I havent ate for 3 days now. She ate the last of my food i had. My parents divorced when I was eight years old. My mom basically took us to raise us with her new boyfriend. We spent half time at my dad's place (my brother and I). Then, her boyfriend and her got a new place but he ended up leaving her so my dad decided to move in with us to help her financially. Then, my mom didn't want my dad living there anymore so we spent time with my mom and some with my dad and family members at the time. After that, my mom decided to get back with her boyfriend. My dad raised us full time while we visited my mom because her boyfriend hardly wanted us there. When I graduated high school, I wasn't accepted to a UC so I decided to attend community college to transfer. My dad let my mom move in with us again because it wasn't working out financially for her. Now, it's my dad, mom, and my brother and I. When she got here, my dad said he hoped she wouldn't ruin my dreams. My mom always comments about why I didn't go to college right out of high school but I don't know what to say. I had good grades so I don't know why I wasn't accepted to a UC. When I tried applying to schools now, my mom gets scared and wonders what's going to happen to her as if she is my responsibility. I really wanted to move to college, even my dad is telling me to live in the dorms, but she thinks if I move, then my brother and dad will move and she will be left alone. I'm 25 years old. I want to pursue my educational goals still. What can I do about this?

I had to ask this health question about my dad. My dad started getting sick at the end of last year. He claimed he had a kidney stone/infection and kept going to the bathroom and was in severe pain (this lasted about three weeks). I knew something was wrong. After he got over this, he started having a severe cough. His doctor gave him an inhaler for a while. He claimed he had a lung infection. For about six months, he claimed he couldn't eat without it coming back up. Six months has passed, and one night about three weeks ago, he came home vomiting up liquid for hours. The next day he went into the hospital because he couldn't eat or drink anything. They said he had an esophageal stricture that was widened partially. Also, he has kidney cancer that has not metastasized but he does have a tumor in one of his kidneys. He claims he is going to possibly need some lymph nodes removed as well. I am very worried about my dad's health. When he went into the hospital three weeks ago, I couldn't stop crying. I still can't eat or sleep because he still doesn't know when his surgery is. I am very upset.

So I'm currently 26 years old and living with my brothers and sisters. We pool our money together. My dad has back issues and can't work. My mom lost her job 5 years ago. My mom is lazy she refuses to look for a job always making an excuse. She thinks she is perfect and can do no wrong. She sleeps till 1pm. The only thing anyone ask of her is to clean and make dinner but she can't do that right. She broke the dishwasher and several vacuums. She gets her cigarettes payed for and her food. She thinks she can do no wrong it wasn't her that broke the dishwasher or the vacuum but she's quick to place judgement on someone else. Everything is always my dad's fault according to my mom. It pisses me off. It only about how she feels and no one else. An example is my brother has to go to the hospital for a blood clot in his leg. My mom's words were to my dad. I m 16. I always save money when I get it which is usually from recycling. However everytime i gain money it s all taken away. My mother goes into my wallet and takes all my cash. In total over only 6 months, she s taken $500. Currently I have no money, I can t do things with my friends, can t buy food or go to sports events all because my own mother is an unemployed alcoholic who can only get money from her daughter. The thing is she only takes from me, my older sister has a job and gets paid a lot yet she takes it from me. I have no way of getting money anymore and it s really sad, all the effort I put in to get money, all my saving up is gone to waste. Everytime I start my way back up to my original balance she takes it all. I try hiding my wallet but she finds every place. She s an alcoholic. I guess they really are desperate. All she does is sit and watch tv all day and tries to hide the fact she s drunk, she gets offended when we call her out, she s hit me and my sister multiple times and is always mentally abusing us. Recently she s got a DUI and my grandma (who lives with us or else we d be in the streets) had to pay it all off. 5k in total. I have the classic alcoholic/drug abusive family in this ****-hole of a town made up entirely of junkies and criminals, and my alcoholic brother just beat the **** out of my alcoholic dad and broke the windows of his car and now my brother is arrested and his two sons just got here and my family is mad at me for being upset about the whole thing.I used to burn myself with matches and cut with blades taken from shaving razors, and tonight I did a ton of it. I feel like I m trapped in this cycle where children becone just like their parents and Ive tried so hard to be successful. But I ve ruined my body with scars and I never have motivation any more. I make my dad a home-made lunch everyday for work, but I don't think he eats it. My mom used to do this for him a few years ago, too. She stopped because she found out everyday he had either thrown out the food and gone out to eat, or eaten her food and would go out to eat after. I don't know what to do to make him stop doing this. He doesn't seem to care I'm taking time out of my day to do this for him. I honestly just don't want him to keep eating so unhealthy. Okay so I want to make some money so I can buy a GoPro camera by October 13 for this vacation I am going to from October 15-October 20. I want to help my parents out because they are already having so much they have to pay for already and I don't want to make them buy me a GoPro but I will be really sad if I don't get one for this once in a lifetime opportunity. Any suggestions on any ways I can make money at the age of 15. For the past year my childrens dad has been leaving my kid with his mother. While he leaves to go out or do whatever he does. Sometimes for the whole day or sometimes overnight(I come to her house and their there). She has had a history with drugs and every time i pick them up their either alone with his younger brothers who are 10 and 8 and 4 year old sister or shes upstairs in her room and they answer the door for me. I have stressed i want them with him at all time and never alone with her. But he simply shrugs it off and says i m overreacting. But i feel for their safety. Is there a way I can ask the courts to put in writing that they should only be with him? Would I go through attorney general?

I'm sixteen years old. My dad and I were close as I grew up, but it was a common occurrence for him to be in and out of my life. He struggled with Drug addiction and financial and work issues. Needless to say, he was still a good dad and I loved him with all of my heart. My mother had full custody of me and I visited my dad whenever I wanted as I got older, but my mom tells me that throughout my childhood he wasn't always there. He passed in March, and since then I've felt like everything I do has an impact on him. My mom has been with my stepdad for three years, and he has grown to be my best friend, and a phenomenal father figure. I love him so much, and I know he'd do anything for me, so I want to surprise him with adoption papers. He's had a rough life too, and I feel as though I'd be happy to take him as my father, but I don't want to hurt my dads honor or his family. He will always be my dad, but now all I have left is my stepdad. I can't decide whether or not to do this. Any advice or insight could help. in response to the first answer, by surprising i mean after discussing with my mom and my other families and weighing my legal options. I know my stepdad and I know I'd receive nothing other than a positive response from doing this, but I do feel as though it is unfair to my dad.

Ok. Long story short. I'm 20 and a full time college student. I don't have a job yet and my dad pays all my bills (that's why he claims me on his taxes). She has this friend that loves to bash my Dad's side of the family. I love my Dad's family but am stuck going with my Mom (my Dad died though parents were divorced). I will be missing out on Dad's family get together but am too young to decide for myself as I am under 18. Hopefully plans will change before November but if I am stuck with my Mom and her wicked friend then how do I survive the weekend? Also how do I not feel overwhelmed with sadness that I am missing out on my Dad's families time? Most travel at Christmas now that my grandmother has died so Thanksgiving is the holiday of the family's get together. My Mom has never supported my relationship with my Dad's side of the family, even when he was alive as my parent's divorced when I was 3 and my Dad died when I was 13. I am now 15 and will be 16 come Thanksgiving.
