We've known each other since March but things didn't start to get serious until May when I went down to his office for the first time. Anyways, I'm thinking of ending things soon. The only thing that is holding me back is the fact that he booked a ticket for Halloween weekend to see me (airline is refundable but hotel is not). But should I? Here are the reasons: 1. Back in July, he told me that he didn't want a serious relationship right now because "a lot happened this year and life is moving too fast for him". Then a couple of weeks later, he finally confesses that he's been in a long-term relationship with another woman who lives in Japan, however she brought up marriage the last time they saw each other and that's when he realized that he's not into her. They've been on a "break" since that conversation, and he told me he prefers to be with me. BUT my main worry is - what if the same thing happens to me? And what else could he be hiding? 2. In addition to #1, he told me he's very scared of marriage. He says he has never seen a successful marriage and thinks all marriages fail. In addition, we have been "talking" for almost 6 months now and haven't been exclusive, which ties to #3... 3. Couple of weeks ago he went to a Comic Con with his friends. He showed me a picture of a girl who dressed up as IT and made a joke about messing around with her with a bag over her head.... ... which lead to a mini-argument. Even though he hasn't made jokes like that again, I'm a bit turned off. 5. BIGGEST point - I have realized that EVERY time I return from visiting him (which was 3 times now), he gets very distant... he wouldn't respond to my texts as much or call me names, etc. Another side note - last time I visited him, he offered to pay half of my trip.
