Ok so I got into a fight with my mom because she was recording me and I didn't like being recorded and she called my dad and said that I want to speak to him. My mom and me don't get a long and we have had a history of when she called the police on me. Then I said that I'm not trying to get arrested again and she made a disgusted face like something was funny and I said that I'll punch a n**** in the face and her facial expression changed when I said that and I feel like something will come back to me or happen to prove that I'm the n****. I'm 17 years old. What do you think of this situation and what should I do?

My mom has no self-control and likes to start physical fights with my dad and start hitting my adopted sister whenever she feels frustrated. A lot of times I block my mom from beating my sister and pull her back from punch my dad who would knock her out if he feels angry by her punches. Then, my mom starts saying I am fighting her. I am 21 and when I was younger, I was often beaten with visible wells and bruises after my parents got into a fight or if my mom was anger I could not understand my homework or if I cried too much since I was very depressed as a child.

Question: Is it wrong that I stopped my mom from beating my sister?

I m 21 and I hate how my mom beats my adopted sister all over on her arms and legs, pushing her and knocking her since she was four and now she is 13. CPS has ready came to my house once. My parents get angry at me and my mom hates me and call me a fat whore since I tell her she is abusing her adopted daughter and often pull her off of my sister when she is on top of her beating her. Yes, my sister lies and steals and has a counselor and is on three different medication. My mom doesn t feel like taking her to counseling. My mom said that this is the only issue she has with me and wants to kick me out. My dad use to be on my side but my mom convinced him to hate me since she reminded him of times I got mad at him when I was 10, 12 and 15.

I live with my mom and my brother, they cleaned up the stuff outside to put it inside for the tropical storm, when I came out my brother just stared at me with his hands going up, I didn't give him no reaction because I know what it was about. It was because I didn't help but NO ONE told me that they were doing it, so they can't really be like that to me. It's not like he ever helps me clean the bathroom we share together gives me another reason not to feel bad, the first one just makes a lot of since I'm not sure if my mom said anything about me or not but she didn't tell me either, I'm this close to slap someone if they are negative like that again. So much more has happened to me between me and them but I won't say because will just make this paragraph a lot longer, but why are they so negative? I'm saving up on my own place and probably won't talk to them again when I leave.

Hi there, I am married for 2 years now and expecting a baby on 1st quarter of 2018. My problem here is my jealous feeling on my husband s nephew. I m sorry as this may sound petty but I feel bad how he s treating his nephew and how this kid issue causes us to start having a fight. The kid is 10 yrs old and is very spoiled by my husband. Literally giving all the favors. He s been like this since he s just my boyfriend and I ve always asked why. The kid always gets his attention and always gets his way out of trouble i.e. the kid breaking things when he visits our house, kid touching my things say laptop and denying he touched it even though i caught him red handed - my husband always believes him since he s a kid. And when we re at the mall he always buys expensive stuffs for the kid even if it is not needed! One time I questioned him why are you buying stuffs for him but his little brother(my husband s other nephew) is not getting any? Another issue that makes me mad is that when we re expanding our house the kid demands to have his own room in our house and my husband quite like this idea. He is also teasing me that he d like the kid to move in and he ll support his studies and all expenses. I did not approve this idea, I said it straight to his face. I am thinking that this might affect our marriage. He says that he is just concerned about his nephew. I said he is not orphaned, he has a mother. Our discussion ended.

My 13 year old daughter has been acting negative lately. A few of our family members have died this past year and she's really upset about it. And her grandmother has cancer and a close friend passed away. She also gets bullied at school and her teacher has been harassing her. Another teacher of hers has also been trying to get sexually involved with my daughter. She complains a lot about life and says that it only gets worse. I've also found out that she mutilates herself by cutting. She told me that she would stop but she didn't. Now I will have to worry about the school seeing the scars on her arm because if they do I will get in a lot of trouble. I really do not believe these are reasonable things to get upset about. She can't do anything about those problems, and the best thing she could do is move on. I know that the cutting thing and being stressed with school is only a phase since everyone goes through that. Every teenager is sad and angry at their age. I think the best solution is to leave her alone, but her doctor thinks that she has severe depression and that she really needs therapy.

I am 19 and 20 next month. I am almost done Nursing school which will be next April. The reason I don't like my parents is because THEY ALWAYS IMPOSE THEIR WILL ON ME. They tell me I can't work because I am in school. Last semester I was barely home because I had work, and I was always in the Nursing lab practicing and getting better in my skills. I barely saw my family. My parents always had guests over and complained to me that it was rude to not see them. How is it rude? I have my priorities, and I do what I want. Next they make me go to Church every Sunday. I don't want too. Whenever I want to go to places with my friends, they always tell me "its not safe, its not worth the money". Who are they to say that? Its my money. When I have a day off, I use it to relax or study, my mom randomly tells me to go and BBQ. But why? Did they just create me so I can be their slave? So when I move out next summer, I'm going to tell them or I might just do it without even telling them. I'm really frustrated with this situation and might just cut tie with them and block all their numbers. I want to pay rent but they said no and save my money. I have too much pride for that. Its not about anything, its only about respecting me and not treating me like horse ****. When I wanted to buy a used car they told me not to waste money on a car. Again, who are they to tell me that? I bought a used car, and every time I drive it they always feel the need to lecture me on why taking the bus isbette

I know that this isn't really a question but I'm just here to vent but I got all of these symptoms she thinks it's from sitting a lot but no I don't think it is because I get constant brain fog makes me be depressed I have good health insurance I want to go to the doctor tell they find out what it is but she won't take me anymore tell I get a job just to see if walking a lot will help but it doesn't we go to downtown and walk a lot Id still have it I get many other symptoms but I don't wanna say on here or it will be longer then it is now unless someone asks but I think it's some anxiety I also think I got insomnia since I don't sleep well I told my mom that to but she always makes an excuse to try make me think I don't have it, if she was in my body she would go crazy to I think about just walking to the doctor without her driving me but it's a long walk. My mum left my dad about 6 years ago and immediately got into a relationship with my stepdad, I have never liked him because he is rude to my mum and me and my sister, he calls us things no child should ever even hear and does not hold back to hurt us, he has smashed glass and pulled me off my bed onto the floor and cut me, drags my sister down the stairs the mental abuse me my sister and my mum receive is not right, my friends keep telling me to tell someone/ contact childline but in my eyes that's too extreme and do not want to ruin my mums life - they are now married with 2 babies. I don't know what to do as I have lived with my dad for a couple of years in an attempt to help my mum realise that she is going to loose me but it doesn't seem to make her do anything... Ive been questioning the hidden truth about myself that might actually exist. It's such that I feel like I'm not my parents' biological daughter. Here are some factors which lead me to having that kind of feeling/thought : 1. My parents and siblings have a white skin tone, straight hair. Meanwhile, I've brown-ish(tanned) skin tone, an extremely curly hair Our similiarity : all of us have black coloured hair, black eyes 2. My parents and siblings have Chinese ethnic. Meanwhile, I fully look like Javanese 3. Usually, when all of us hang out and my parents bumped into their old friends nor acquintances. Their friends would greet my siblings immediately as they recognise my siblings as my parents' daughter and son. It's because my siblings' look assemble the parents' look Besides, they'd said to my sibling : "wow you really look like your mom/dad". Meanwhile, Im left out, treated like a stranger maybe it's because I dont look alike my parents 4. Sometimes, my parents seem to make sure that they convinced me enough that Im no different than my brother and sister. Eg : one time, my parents were discussing about my bro( personal matter).The point is, at the end, they said no matter what the situation is my bro has to accept that he inherits his mom or dad personalities, characteristics. Somewhere between the ages of thirteen-sixteen everything stopped. No presents or the cake my mom would make without fail in the past. All I ever get now is a 'happy birthday. You must be excited.' Excited about what? Another year without recognition? Another year of broken promises? I know it's stupid but it actually hurts. I don't care about gifts, I want something more than empty promises. My dad was an alcoholic all my life to this day. I used to always beat myself up about it. My mom and dad would always fight about him being an alcoholic and that he had a problem. Whenever he was drunk, he would never hurt me. He just smelled like beer and I was very uncomfortable. I never wanted to hang out with him because he was drinking. Anyways, whenever that would happen I would just cry a lot. One time my sister went up to him and told him he had a problem (about last year) they were screaming at eachother. She was crying too. They were fighting and I was in my room crying. I was hysterical. I would tell myself it wasn't happening and cut my wrist and all that stuff. I cried so so hard, and that was how it was for so long. I eventually got tired of them fighting and went downstairs and screamed at them to stop. I bet the whole naborhood could hear us. They just kept yelling over me and it was driving me insane. I was breathing really heavy and my heart was pounding crazy fast. I remember yelling at them to just go to bed and forget about it. But my sister would just argue with me and say no just go back upstairs. I didn't. I just stayed down stairs, bawling my owes out, yelling as loud as I could, and being ignored. So I went back upstairs when they have all stopped and covered my ears with a pillow and cried myself to sleep. That was not the first time we have got into a fight like that, but that was the worst.. He never physically or verbally hurt me.

I'm embarrassed to tell my friends or family members about what happened to me, so I come here to seek for some advice. About a month ago, I finally gave my child's father our home address. Everything went fine for the next couple weeks. He would pick up our child from my apartment and take him to school and practice. Three days ago, he tells me that our child will be staying the night with his grandmother (from his side). I agreed because I was planning on going out with my boyfriend. It was around 8 P.M. when he texts me and tells me if he could drop by to grab some clothes for our kid. I let him in and as I'm looking for some clothes in my room. He barges in and tackles me to my bed and starts groping me under my clothes. I don't really know for how long I was fighting him off until I started crying he pulls away. He literally just leaves my apartment and the next day drops of my son as If nothing ever happened. He hasn't texted or called since what happened and my son keeps asking me about him. Should I contact police and file a restraining order or should I also pretend this never happened? The only thing I'm worried about is my son and what he'll think. I don't know what to do at this point. Please any advice would be great. I have proof of what happened because our apartment has cameras outside and inside.

Her very essence is just so irritating! She breathes way too loudly and makes other annoying mouth sounds! She also does stupid *** dances and chews loudly as well and when I snap at her and tell her to cut it out she gets all bratty and defensive and gives me some stupid *** comeback that she thinks is funny and original and continues to be annoying af. Not even a "happy birthday" or a cake. I live with my mom and brothers. My mom told me she did it on purpose, mainly because I told her that I know she molested me when I was younger, and let other people molest me too, which she did, but she denies. And Extended relatives didn't even call, on purpose. She made the whole family ostracize me. And my brothers just laughed. Now I'm seeing all my friends having birthdays and ppl celebrating with them, and I'm just crying seeing how happy they are and am just feeling lonely in my life ever since my dad died (the only person who cared about me). How do I get through this? My family is not doing crap for me on my birthday anymore and probably not Christmas either, all because I was understandably upset about something my mom did. It's like, instead of admitting to her wrongdoing and fixing our relationship, she'd rather just turn her back to me and make the whole family do the same. Where I live is 1 of the worst cities in the U.S. I have almost no transportation cause of my part dysfunctional family and regular family. So I had two cousins fighting (both toddlers) and a lot of my family members were over. I was upstairs with the two toddlers and one of them (the boy) started throwing cars down the stairs and I couldn't pull him back because he would cry, then the other toddler came to play with me and him (the girl). We played hide and seek and I was able to distract the boy from throwing things, but then he started pulling her hair and hitting her, I stopped them and he went away but came back to get her toy from her. She started crying and they both went down to their mothers. I panicked and went to my room and locked myself in. For some people this is no pressure, but I really panicked. Or another time where my little brother was being beaten up by another kid his age, I just froze and couldn't move. My sister stopped them. I could feel people's stares like needles in my body and I could hear their thoughts about me like shouts. How can I just not care? Be normal? Thanks

Hello everyone I am a 16 Y/O Male. I was raped everyday by my brother from ages 4-10. I disclosed this information when I was 14 about to turn 15. Since then my parents gotten a divorce, My life has changed at lot. I have been much more happy. I have been in a Psychiatric Care Facility. I went in January of 2016. During that time CPS was called and my case was dropped since he no longer lived with me and it happened years ago. I have Depression,Anxiety,and PTSD. Anyways my brother is going to be homeless and my mom is letting him move in. He is 21 Years old now. I am 16 getting ready to be 17. Also my dad has no room for him since he lives in a rented basement. I do not want my brother to live with me my mom and sister. But my parents are saying its all good now and he will not do it again. But I know he will not but I still do not want him living with me. Who is right me or my parents??? Now that I'm older I hate being around my mom. For one she gets really irritated easily she would scream at you loud in front of everyone for no reason. She always has a nasty attitude. My mom was crying because she didn't care when she was in her early 30s when I was a kid and was dealing with my phobias, but now that my little sister is having the same thing as me with gastric problems she's sad cause she feels she's already going to be 43 and she can't live life because it's too hard to go out or do anything with the kids. Then my dad comes in the room looks outside and says "where's the real aliens?" My moms like "shh Bella gets nervous now when she hears aliens or now when you say that, she's a little girl" then my dad put a cookie in his mouth and said.....what sounded like "I'm a little boy" or "then lets have a little boy". A month ago my dad was online waiting when some guy was asking my dad how many kids he has and if their all girls or any boys, my dads like "nope all 3 girls, well actually 4 including my wife" then I ask my dad later on what the guy said cause he was speaking so low and my dad smiling looking down kinda) and was like "no he was just asking if I had any boys". I won't lie I've been sheltered my whole life as the youngest daughter my mother and father took extra care to try and shield me from the dangers of life. Even unrolling me from school in 10th grade and homeschooling me after I was severely bullied. The last 5 years I did all that they wanted me to but now I'm 22 and I want to start my own life. I want to enroll into a real university, I don't want to be left behind anymore. My 26-year-old out of work slacker brother lives with us all he does is sleep and play games all day. While I take up all the house work and repairs I've worked for our neighbors, I act as a personal nurse for my elderly parents (Setting up the appointments, reminding of medicine.). I want so much more in life I brought this up with them and they recommend I just do online university and stay with them. I feel so lonely here, so reserved from the world and others. I really don't know what to do. @ Pearl, Thank you for your advice, I'm thinking of enrolling next semester since enrolling closed yesterday. @Rob, I agree my mother has a master in business from an online school, yet no job will hire her. I tried to tell them that employers don't look favorably on online schools, but it falls on deaf ears.

Last week my mom caught me exhaling, didn't find the vape. Week goes by, when I was at school she found juice I accidentally forgot was under my bed, as I don't keep any under there. I was confronted today, stuff happened, I bullshitted my way out of it, but my parents are skeptical. I don't know how to get my parents to get off my ***. I have no idea. They never found it, and I told them it was my buddies and I actually don't have it rn. I gave it to one of my friends along with all my accessories to store safely.

Question: Do i have a reason to be mad my boyfriend didn't help pay for hotel stay only a few dollars for food and now my car got a transmission leak?

He barely makes end meets he makes less money than me and is not a good management wirh money but I recently paid for a hotel stay and food he did put some dollars in to help but not like so much and then on the way to the food I hit a curb by mistake and now my car is leaking red fluid from the left side and I blamed it on him got mad I'm like now I have to pay not only hotel but car repair like I'm sick n tired of this we are in the middle of hurricane irma everything is closed my car is parked outside we're inside the motel till the weather clears this is just another trouble added to my issues I'm so upset

Asalamuaelykum... the thing is... some of my siblings don't follow the way my parents raised them like for instance i have religous parents and my siblings they don't pray or anything in fact they will lie and say i already prayed when they haven't... and i know that they are lying...! so i have at least 4 siblings that don't pray to God for real and just lie to my parents and say we already prayed when they haven't! today this guy came in the room and complimented me. He was pointing straight at me and she asked who was he talking about like "who??her? Her??? Her??" While pointing at all of them except me. And he said no and pointed at me. She just faked laughed or giggled and looked down and hurried up and changed the subject. This isn't the first time she's done this but a lot. I am the youngest and she is overprotective over me. But I don't think that has anything to do with it. Everytime I tell her someone said I was pretty or something she acts surprised like it "wow someone said you were pretty??? Let me guess a teacher??" Everytime I get a compliment she fake smiles then looks down sad or depressed. Also when people say we look a like she doesnt say anything but looks sad but when someone says it to my other sisters she says things like "i know"

Question: How to convince my Parents I want to be a pro gamer ?

So basically, over the summer I have decided that I want to be a pro gamer. But there is one major issue which is the fact that my parents would never let that happen. You see during the school period I play A LOT. Around 45hrs + a week with almost half of it coming in during the week ends. Obviously I don't get good grades because of this, 9/10 out of 10 I get the worst result in the class and my teachers speak very negatively of me in terms of homework etc... Obviosuly this pisses off my parents a lot. But Gaming has just in some sort of way become part of me. They say follow your dreams and that's exactly what I'm doing. I just hate the fact that gaming is being given such a bad name. If I wanted to be an astronaut and spent 45hrs a week studying space then no one would care. But because it's video games my parents HATE IT. They're hypocrites. This IS NOT an addiction , I hear so many people trying to tell me that and they're WRONG, I'm following my dreams like anyone would. If there were a gaming course at school I would get extremely good grades. That just goes to show how retarded the educational system is. There ARE professional gamers yet people that want to become pros don't have a proper path to get to their goal, instead they're looked down upon. And this unfair criticism has gotten out of hand. I'm a round person (~350 lbs) ,and this isn't because of gaming like everyone seems to suggests. I just feel like sports in general are boring compared to video games.

My bestfriend and I are extremely close, we talk about everything, we've been through it all with each other.. 7 years ago her boyfriend committed suicide, it was extremely hard on her. She's talked to me about it a lot, I'm going through the same thing now, except my very close guy friend committed suicide... I want to ask my bestfriend how she could handle the pain and moving on after his passing, just because I'm struggling with my friends suicide, but I'm afraid to ask her.. we always ask each other questions but would I be bad for asking her how she could handle it or how she stayed strong after his passing? I'm 19, she's in her 50s I want to ask but like I said, I'm super afraid. I always send random messages asking for advice about things but this is different. Do you think she'd be mad for asking?

My twin sister and I are getting ready to go to college next year. Our parents expect us to go to the same college, share an apartment, and even wanted us to choose the same major. I want to go to college out of state, but my sister wants to stay in town because of her boyfriend. My parents are now forcing me to stay in town too. I am frustrated because my parents make us do everything together, and I want to live my own life and have my own identity. My sister, like my parents, expects me to do everything with her too.
