Posted: 26 Sep 2017 12:22 PM PDT So me and my girlfriend have been together 2 and a half years she's the love of my life and i plan on marrying her soon. We're both 25 and really want to move out soon which I know is a huge responsibility. the thing is she wants to get an apartment first which I understand because she's afraid to jump in the commitment of buying a house, the only thing is I'll be paying the rent being she doesn't make that good of money compared to me and for the money I'm paying in rent I could spend a couple more dollars and have a mortgage. I don't know if it seems selfish to say well I want to buy a house you're either in or out but I rather not waste my time with renting where the money's not really going anywhere if I could own my own house. I was just wondering what a polite way to go about having this conversation with her is and if I'm right or wrong any help would be appreciated ! |
Question: Is this worth the fight that it will cause? Posted: 26 Sep 2017 11:01 AM PDT My boyfriend and I have been together for 3 years. My boyfriend is a car salesman, works quite a few hours; however when hes home he doesn't do much because he wants to "decompress". He has Sundays off and is home by 5 when he works Saturdays. Some days he doesn't go in till 11am-12pm and has one day off during the week which sometimes he has to go in for a few hours on his day off during the week. So myself and my daughter are left to take care of everything, his laundry included. Recently I have enrolled in school to get my degree in HR, I go to classes twice a week and work full time m-f. I let him know I really need him to step up him helping out around the house and maybe start doing his own laundry. We also have two huge dogs (I clean up all yard waste a couple times a week) Instead of him "stepping up" he sais that my 16 year old daughter in her senior year who also works 4 days a week, keeps great grades, cleans our kitchen 3 times a week, keeps her bathroom and bedroom clean and does her own laundry needs to "step it up". He acts like a baby when I ask him if he can start helping out more. Like hes the only one that works. He sais that I don't understand his job that its so mentally draining. he only has to worry about work, nothing else. I handle my daughter, our dogs any appointments, I make sure all bills are paid always schedule everything needed. Am I out of line? Or should I push this issue? |
Question: Why? What am I supposed to do from there? Posted: 26 Sep 2017 08:41 AM PDT During sex or foreplay, a man will put 2-4 fingers in my mouth... it s common in porn.. but what is the reason and what am I supposed to do? I don t mind it, but I don t want to act oddly about it or do something dumb.. please don t respond if you aren t answering the question.. too many people want to give dumb opinionated and unrelated responses. Thanks! |
Question: Why do people hate the name Audrey so much ? Posted: 26 Sep 2017 05:02 AM PDT I want to name my pet pig Audrey but all my friends say it's a disgusting name. They say the name reminds them of a crippled old lady hunched over with a walking stick. WTF ? The other two names I have in mind are Shirley or Peggy. I like Gurtrid too but they say it's worse than Audrey. |
Question: Can I sue my parents for circumcision of my penis without my consent ? Posted: 26 Sep 2017 04:44 AM PDT For as long as I remember I've been affected not only physically but also mentally that my parents took it upon themselves to decide to have my foreskin removed when I was a baby. I've always felt incomplete and different. I've had therapy and still see a therapist once a month as being circumcised has ruined my life in so many ways. I can't enjoy sex like other men that were lucky enough not to have had a part of their body removed from them and I sometimes have suisidel thoughts about what has happened to me. I also go through periods of the head of my penis rubbing against my underwear as I don't have foreskin to protect it and sometimes the rubbing is so severe that I end up with an infection. I want my parents to pay for what they have allowed to happen to me. All I've ever wanted was to be normal but I feel as though my body has been mutilated and I feel totally violated. |
Posted: 26 Sep 2017 03:41 AM PDT When I was in second or third grade my best friend came over to my house. My best friend (about a year and a half older than me), older sister (two years older than me) and I all went to the back room alone to watch a movie. During the movie we were laying around naked which we did often because it was hot. My sister and my friend then got on top of each other and started humping each other's butts. They then humped my butt to. My sister also spread my butt cheeks apart at one point but didn't touch me in any other way. When I asked what they were doing they said they were having sex (even though they were just humping) I was feeling uncornfortable so I said I was going to tell my dad. They told me not to and if I did I would get all of us in trouble. So I didn't. Im now 20 and I feel really weird about everything. I know children experiment sometimes. But I don't know how to feel. We never talked about sense it happened. Was I molested? |

Question: Do you think gaining 40-50lbs in a relationship is a lot for almost 2 yrs? Posted: 25 Sep 2017 10:35 PM PDT My boyfriend, who I love but we do not live together, is pushing 210 lbs when we met nearly 2 yrs ago when he was in the 160 range. His family & friends have commented but I haven't said anything. I love him, but I just wonder how far it'll go... PS I'm small & petite naturally and don't work out.. we see each other like twice a week. He goes out to dinner with coworkers and his boss nearly everyday though and he likes to go out when one of us visits each other. He's a foodie for sure and I'm a bird with food.. |

Question: Indian Parents believe in Caste System? Posted: 25 Sep 2017 02:49 PM PDT I am a 15 year old boy in high school in America. I need some help. My parents believe in the caste system and love-arranged marriage. Therefore, I am not allowed to date. Ever. Now, they aren't forcing me to get married or anything radical (they love me too much to do that) but it is going to be weird on our relationship if I end up with a white girl. I know that I am still young but I can't stop thinking about this. There is a girl i really like, and I want to date her, but I can't. I can't even go to homecoming or anything like normal people do. I am three years from becoming an adult who can go to war, drive a car, and vote, so its scary thinking I cant love who I want. I don't like the fact that I am in this situation also because I am pretty sure the girl I have a huge crush on, likes me too. It's sad how committed guys who could nurture, love, and care for a girl get in this situations while players who just want sex are free as a bird. Makes me sick. |

Question: Do you think my boyfriend's dad will hate me? Posted: 25 Sep 2017 01:45 PM PDT I'm gay and I feel like it's likely because I cant give his son children. He will probably want him to be with a vagina which he can fertilize. Sucks to be me. |
Question: How do I get my teenage sons to respect bedding when masturbating ? Posted: 25 Sep 2017 06:17 AM PDT As a single father of teenage twin boys I am finding it increasingly annoying with their habit of showing complete disregard to the mess they make to their sheets and bedding. Whilst I have always told them that it is perfectly fine for them to masturbate when the need arises they both continue to mess their bedding. I have supplied tissues for them to use and although one of my sons often uses the tissues my other son continues to cover his bedding with stains which are very hard to get out in the wash. He will sometimes also use whatever is laying around in his room such as a t shirt to clean the mess. Any parental advice on what to do would be greatly appreciated. |
Question: What are they trying to say? Posted: 25 Sep 2017 05:08 AM PDT I saw some of my old colleagues from high school and some of them came up to me and said this: "You look like a whole different person" "How do you do that to yourself?, teach me" "Wow Do you have on makeup? You look pretty today. And Some guys who rejected also spoke to me nicely. It was weird. |
Question: Why does my friend refuse to be alone with me? Posted: 24 Sep 2017 10:27 PM PDT I've had this married friend for 5 months, but we've known each other for over a year. He used to be my boss. I have fallen for him, but I respect his marriage and family and I keep my feelings in check. There are times where, sure, I flirted with him and he's flirted with me right back, but it's harmless. I know he'd never make a move and I wouldn't either, not the first move anyway, so we're good. We've been carpooling to church for a little over a month now and we've ridden alone together one time and nothing happened. We seriously just talked the whole time about different things. He's a great mentor (I'm 26, he's 37) and I learn a lot from him, he's great to talk to. Well, there have been a couple of times where we almost rode alone because his oldest son (who always rides with us, his wife and two youngest ride separately) didn't want to go, but the first time his wife forced their son to go with us and the second time, he talked their son into going with us even though he didn't want to. Today, we could've ridden alone to and from because his wife and the kids were going somewhere else, but he just happened to have some work-related things that took priority so he couldn't give me a ride. (I don't have a license right now, so that's why we carpool). I'm sure today was legit, but it just seems as though he refuses to be alone with me. Why do you think that is? Do you think his wife has voiced some concerns to him about being uncomfortable with the situation? |
Posted: 24 Sep 2017 09:05 PM PDT i love cooking but i think its a little odd how they will spend tons of cash on fast food just because they dont feel like cooking. whats the deal? i was sleep and my dad called me at 6 am telling me to cook eggs because my brother was about to leave for work and needed something to eat. and eggs literally takes less than 5 minutes. i work 12 hour days and STILL manage to cook when i get off work, mainly because i hate the taste of fast food. at first my dad was saying the reason he didnt cook was because our oven was broke, now that our oven is working he's talking about " i'm retired from cooking, i cooked all those years" and i was like " what are you talking about. even growing up they only ever cooked every now and then. i still remembered eating fast food a ton until i learned how to cook myself real meals". you don't have to cook fancy time consuming meals. there's tons of quick receipes available for people on the go. |
Posted: 24 Sep 2017 07:24 PM PDT I'm the son of a wealthy business owner. As a result I am used to certain comforts. My life is full of carefree days of hedonism and self-indulgence and getting away with all the bad stuff I do to other people. Also I am used to my dad cleaning up my messes and jams I always avoid because of him. He usually scolds me after this but he still gives in when I ask for money which burns a hole in pocket honestly. I blow it all on clothes, food, drinks, and prostitutes then come running back to him for more. I have lived like this for the past 16 years but now I am starting to think I'm a bad person... am I? |
Question: My dad is really sick, what to do if he doesn't listen? Posted: 24 Sep 2017 07:00 PM PDT My dad has kidney cancer. He is 63 years old. He didn't want to tell my mom, brother, and I that it was cancer at first because he never wants to tell the truth. Turns out he has a tumor that is cancerous and it is invading tissue. Recently, he said he is losing ten lymph nodes around it too. He said he has a 2-inch tumor and they might remove part of the kidney or the entire kidney if it is needed. They have to open him up to see. We are worried everyday about him. He is starting to act weird too like one day he was staring in the distance and he is doing weird things which lead me to believe it's getting serious like giving things away, etc. To top it off, he has an esophageal stricture so he cant really eat. What to do if someone won't listen? He won't even tell us when his surgery is and he won't have his esophagus fully dilated. |
Question: Am I emotionally abusive? Posted: 24 Sep 2017 06:59 PM PDT My gf and I have been together for a few years. We enjoy being around each other for the most part. The only problem is that when we argue, I end up getting defensive and yell and need space. She says I m emotionally abusive because I don t allow her to express her feelings and opinion without getting defensive and angry. I feel like she has made some harsh comments and judgments on me from the beginning. She says it s weird that I live at home and I m in my mid 20s. She used to call me hateful names when we first started going out and I think that has played into me getting defensive with her. I have never called her names. I don't want to be abusive. I want to be a kind person. An example of our most recent fight: We spent all day together and had a good time. We talked about how she only wants what's best for me and she thinks that me moving out is best because she isn't allowed at my house and because I pay half of the bills she should be allowed to come over. (There is a lot of hate for her from my mom). She said my mom wanting me to stay here to "save money" is just her being selfish. I told her that I don't think it is entirely selfish. I think my mom really does want the best for me. We started getting more into it and I told her, I don't see anything wrong with me being at home right now. At this point I was starting to get defensive. She said that it's weird that I live there. I told her, I'm 25 I can do whatever the f I want. I hate feeling weird for not moving out |
Question: My Boyfriend Doesn t like my friend.. what can I do.? Posted: 24 Sep 2017 06:27 PM PDT My boyfriend doesn t like my friend because a year ago he thinks she tried breaking us up and almost cost him his job. I later found out that we had a lot miscommunication and it was her brother that started the whole issue due to him admitting it to her and her showing me screenshots. She also made mad mistakes on sleeping with a whole bunch of people due to depression issues with her husband(currently seperated). which he also talks bad about. I want to try and help them make ammends. is there anything that could help |
Question: I think my girlfriend might not like me anymore? Posted: 24 Sep 2017 05:55 PM PDT she doesn't talk too much to me in person. It could be that she's just shy and that we don't see each other enough to be able to make that really strong connection like if we did yet. But when we text she just reads them and doesn't text back until 10 to 20 minutes later...... could it be that she just doesn't like me anymore...? |

Posted: 24 Sep 2017 02:16 PM PDT My fiancé and I live in Provo Utah, my fiancé moved here to get away from him s abusive amd toxic family. His saint of a mother moved to Utah to be near her only sane son after she was bought out from her home by his father. My fiancé and I love each other but his dad said that if he and I move back to Nashville he'll lease us a place to stay and he can get treated at several cancer treatment centers, I could get a job working in either Nashville or a surrounding town but his dad is abusive and his brother is mentally ill, so much to the point to where he had a double amputation for no reason. His mother amd I are trying to convince my fiancé to stay in Utah because it might not be perfect but he'll be in a loving environment opposed to being with his dad and brother? How should I go about this |

Question: Should I be upset with my boyfriend? Posted: 24 Sep 2017 02:29 AM PDT I have been with my boyfriend for over a year now, and we have recently moved in together about three months ago. Well, I let him go out with his friends, in which he ended up coming home past 2:00 AM completely drunk. Not only that, his friends that he was with, were all driving drunk. I feel that he is crossing boundaries in the relationship, especially since we have been discussing marriage. Am I in the wrong to be upset with him? |

Question: Can I have a "Sweet 17" or "Sweet 18" party? Posted: 23 Sep 2017 11:10 PM PDT At the time of my sweet 16 my family was having some financial troubles and i wanted to save some money by not having a big celebration. The party was a bit underwhelming to say the least. Although it did save money, I'm starting to regret it a lot. My family is more financially stable now and I even have a job. Just curious if I can still have a big "sweet 16" style party in the next few years so I don't end up really regretting it later in life. |

Question: Dolls and stuff animals in bedroom, these things happen in the dark? Posted: 23 Sep 2017 06:56 PM PDT Have you ever had a whole lot of dolls and stuffed animals in a bedroom still from your past youth. You notice when you turn out your lights and its dark, their eyes start to glow just like a cats eyes and you feel like they're actually watching you, and you actually see these stuffed animals and dolls move their heads and arms. You want to think that your eyes are just playing tricks on you but then again, you stand there staring at them creeped out and wondering. |
Question: Why do I get anxious? Posted: 23 Sep 2017 05:56 PM PDT |
Question: Why is he so rude to me? And how do I stop idolizing him and seeing him in my dreams? Posted: 23 Sep 2017 05:48 PM PDT He's entitled and rude, makes sexual comments about my body, some positive and some not. He is the poster child for privilege. He's popular, tall, handsome, a very talented athlete (think national and Jr Olympics) very high grades, very wealthy, and a talented violinist. It is such a shame that a person of such pedigree is so racist, misogynistic and homophobic. This year, he is scathing too. He always sneers at me when I'm talking to boys and calls me a vulgarity I do not like. Especially if they are his friends or are upperclassmen. He was openly making snide comments about my outfit which I happened to feel nice in with his friend. A odd continuing string of insults he had thrown at me alone or front of his friends were, ''Why? Why do you exist?'' or "I want to burn you to the ground'' and when I stormed off offended he cackled, ''It's okay, she's in love with me'' He doesn't have respect for my stuff as he wets them or throws them out and passes it as a joke. I accuse him of anything and it's all a joke. And I can't stop dreaming about him. They began realistically enough before they became idolized versions of how I wanted him to treat me. Us walking in the hallways, his arms around me, and telling funny jokes actually worth laughing at. Not to say he's a total angel because he still retains some of his rudeness but I don't completely hate how brash he is. He's just easier to love in my dreams and I want them to stop and they won't. Am I just lonely? Oh yea, I know I make it sound like he thinks of me as an enemy but we're uh 'friends' |

Question: Does this sound like hes hiding something or am i going crazy? Posted: 23 Sep 2017 03:22 PM PDT A couple weeks ago i started to notice my boyfriend changing his password on his phone. He had a password before but i always knew it and he didnt change it for months knowing i knew it. Lately if i figure his passwrord put he changes it every time and says its because i would see his porn history and tell his best mate about it, only for a laugh when the subject came up. But i havent done that for over a year now! He asked me to stop so i did... He never changed his password then? So why now? He gets very mad if i touch his phone and is very possessive of it. He wont let me look at his phone either ive asked and he refused point blank. Earlier today he went on whatsapp and was about to message someone, but when he noticed me looking he quickly went off it and locked his phone. I asked him why he did that and said he was checking if his friend had replied but he would have known before going on it because he woukd have been notified as you do with whatsapp. He never lets his phone out of his sight at the moment either. I am so confused and i dont believe he would cheat and i trust him but im starting to now second guess myself and think maybe hes hiding something. Im so worried he is. What does it sound like to you? Am i crazy and paranoid? Its taking all my strength and just knowing how wrong it is not to try and get into his phone to find out why hes being so private all of a sudden! I dont want to snoop because i know how bad that is. Help! |
Question: Did not have a traditional Orthodox Jewish wedding but want to make aliyah to Israel? Posted: 23 Sep 2017 12:36 PM PDT I was warned many, many times that not having a traditional wedding would pose an issue for my husband and I if we ever wanted to make aliyah. Well, here we are. We got our marriage license in NYC, no ceremony, nothing, definitely no ketubah. I've already done my research on making aliyah, and I know - in addition to other documents - we need proof of marriage but my question is how difficult will it be for us? Can we really be denied return for not having the "proper" marriage documents? |

Question: My husband keeps looking at other men's bodies whilst at the beach. Why ? Posted: 23 Sep 2017 12:17 AM PDT My husband and I have been married 5 years in December. When we first met he was extremely homophobic and would criticise men that appeared even the slightest gay. For the last year and a half whenever we go to the beach I catch him looking at men. One time I was playing with the children on the sand dunes and seen my husband chatting to a guy in the distance. After about 5 minutes both my husband and he entered the male toilets together. I sat half watching and half keeping an eye on the children and after about 15 minutes they both exited the toilet together and I seen the young man get into his car and drive off. I didn't let my husband know what I had seen. Is it possible that he was in there having sex with the guy or am I reading into things ? Also can a man turn bisexual later in life? |

Question: Why is my mom so positive that sex will ruin my life? Posted: 22 Sep 2017 05:38 PM PDT I am soon to be 20 years old, I have strayed away from sex solely because she doesn't want me having sex while I was a teenager.. but now that I try to speak to her about it she gets pissed at me.. Could any parents explain to me, how she feels or if it's because I'm growing up.. I'm not really understanding. . . ( I am a college student and I work but I still live at home to help with my brother. Just in case anyone wanted to know the background ) I'm asking because, she wants me to be open and honest with her about everything but when I try she brushes me off or tells me I don't need sex or guys in my life, I'm in a relationship currently. She's always been super over protective and I just try to work with it the best I can but I don't understand this one. |

Question: Can I stop my child's maternal grandparent's from seeing him? Posted: 22 Sep 2017 03:39 PM PDT I am wondering if once I adopt my child (my boyfriend's biological son), can I stop visits to his maternal grandparents? I do not want to do this at all but they are spreading lies about me because they are threatened so I feel like it may need to come to it one day. Currently, grandpa sees him twice a week and despite my boyfriend being ecstatic about me adopting him, he has told my boyfriend that he does not trust my son with me. |

Question: Should I tell this girl about her dad's affair? Posted: 22 Sep 2017 11:55 AM PDT There's a girl I know who I'm going to call Katie, and we are not very close but her best friend is friends with my best friend, so I always find us in the same group together at school. Well, recently her dad (who I used to know very well because we worked together) has been cheating on his wife (Katie's mom) with my boyfriend's sister. There is a 40 year age difference between them and his wife has cancer. I was very close with my boyfriend's sister but because of this and some of her other recent behaviors, I don't wish to associate with her very much, and my boyfriend doesn't either. Every single time I see Katie, I feel so bad for her because she and her mother have no idea about what her father is doing to their family, but I don't know if it's my place to let her know. Do I have a right to tell her this since we talk often and the home wrecker is someone I know very well? |
