Question: I gave my friend a lame excuses for not hanging out? Posted: 12 Sep 2017 05:53 PM PDT We haven't hung out in awhile. I told them I can't hang out because I can't leave my new kitten alone.. Which isn't a lie. When I leave it alone it goes crazy & I don't want it ruining my things and being too loud while I'm away for a long time. What would you think if someone told you this is why they can't hang out? |

Question: Why do I have to chose between the two sisters? Posted: 12 Sep 2017 05:31 PM PDT So I have these two friends who are sisters one is 14 and the other is 15 and they hate eachotehr. I like to hang out with them both though and one of them doesn't care that I hang out with her sister but the other one hates it and says I need to pick but I don't wanna chose and I've said this before but she wont listen. |
Question: Is this a weird idea? Posted: 12 Sep 2017 05:10 PM PDT There is a girl at my work who I want to become friends with. I don't know much about her, but she seems really nice and I think we'd make good friends. I talked to her maybe twice but it was only very brief question/answer about a work related thing. I don't even know if she knows my name. I really want to talk to her but don't know what to say. Is it crazy or too weird if I would go up to her and say I think she seems really nice and would like to be her friend? What should I do? |
Question: How do I talk to them? Posted: 12 Sep 2017 05:01 PM PDT There is a girl I work with. Well, we work at the same place, but our jobs are separate. I have talked to her twice before but only very briefly. We don't have any reason to talk to each other throughout the day because each of our jobs are so different and in opposite spots of the building.I am not even sure she knows my name. I want to be her friend but don't know how. I feel odd trying to strike up a conversation with her when I don't even really know her. She just seems like a nice person and I think we'd make good friends. When we did talk, it was just her making a comment or asking a work related question, not even totaling 10 seconds. I have tried to make eye contact with her and talk to a person who works directly with her, hoping that my conversation with them will eventually involve her as well but when I am around it seems like she doesn't even notice me. How do I talk to her and her to notice me? |
Posted: 12 Sep 2017 04:07 PM PDT He has his original page but he feels butthurt because they only request him on his fake page. This is strange to me too. He said oh they know that I am also friends with this fake page and they still don't add me. I told him don't worry maybe they are just fake themselves. He gets even more upset. I had a friend once though that also got so butthurt that he stopped talking to me. He was different though because this friend did like me and I was never sure about him, I liked him but I never wanted to use him. I told him it wasn't the time and he stormed out of the room. Now he tells all of his friends he's glad I haven't found anyone yet. There is this guy I like but he doesn't like me very much. I know his pain but believe me I believe we should just find someone who is equally interested. My current friend says he is fed up with fake people, but I just get tired of him getting used and abused. I tell him not to feel bad but now I am just running out of words to cheer him up. He doesnt drink but kinda smokes. I told him to work on his image a little if he wants more friendships, I say this because I don't even hang around my friends that stink like smoke. I am also fed up with them its like they are getting worse. I am also worried about him he doesn't even call to check up on us like before. I am beginning to worry. I just want him to be okay. My other friend also betrayed me to hang out more with his gay friends ugh, I hate this so much we used to be bf's. Help. |
Question: Can you report someone to the police even after a year? Posted: 12 Sep 2017 03:56 PM PDT I'm 15 and almost about 2 years ago I use to smoke weed with my "friends" and there was this one older boy that was like 17 0r 18 that would always hangout with them. And one day when I was really high my friends left outside to do something while me and him stayed alone.(Note they mixed the weed with something else so I didn't even know what was going on)He told me to do sexual things I obviously said no but I don't remember if he touched me or not.But i went to the doctors they said nothing was wrong. But either way he made me feel really uncomfortable he was in a gang and I was scared if I told my family and if he's find out he might do something to them so once we moved about 9-10 months later I told my mom but she said they police wouldnt be able to do anything because there's no evidence. It might not seem like a huge deal to some people but just remembering the way he acted and how he chose that opportunity makes me angry, sad and embarrassed. Is there anything I can do |

Question: Hi! I have problem with my friend....? Posted: 12 Sep 2017 03:55 PM PDT She is 24 year-old. I know is going to holiday with her boyfriend. We have three and the same age. I am jealous of their relationship. I get nervous to think what they could do in bed at night. At the same time I feel infantile because I think I never and will never have the chance to bring a girl on holiday, either because I can not find a girl because I have eyes only for her, either because I have a bad character. I can not go beyond this situation. |
Question: Sitting by myself in class? Posted: 12 Sep 2017 03:32 PM PDT As far I remember the day I was born, I have been a loner. I don't tell anyone about my personal lifr, because they wont understand what I'm going through. In 7th period, ap literature, I am new, because I switched periods, and everyone I see, was sitting next to someone or in a group. I looked, but I sat at the back of the table by myself, because those people has nothing in common with me. I can't deal with people, because they annoy me, or I have to act and be a phony. I hang out with no one during lunch and break. This girl, who only understand me, passed away after Christ.as, and to this day, I'm still sad. **** you Cancer! |
Question: How do I tell my parents about internet friends? Posted: 12 Sep 2017 03:17 PM PDT I ve known two girls for about two years now, they are both my age and we Skype once a week so I know they are not predators. As it was my birthday a couple days ago, they want to send me stuff by post for presents. How do I do this with my parents permission? My parents are very wary of this sort of thing and will probably be angry I ve hidden this from them, they are reallly strict. So I don t know what to do. |
Question: Sometimes I wish that I had never been born...? Posted: 12 Sep 2017 03:16 PM PDT I'm not suicidal, and I'm not planning on hurting myself in any way. But I've found myself wishing lately that I had never been born. I was supposed to have a twin, a brother I think. He was miscarried. I wish that he had been the one that lived instead of me. Or that my mom had never gotten pregnant at all. Everything would just be so much easier if I wasn't here in the first place. I wouldn't have screwed up all of the lives that I have. My mom might have actually been able to live on her own without me. She wouldn't have to worry about raising another kid. I wish there was someone I could talk to about this stuff, but I can't. I can't talk to my mother about it; I hate talking to her about everything nowadays because she makes a big deal of most things I say and won't leave me alone if I tell her, "I don't want to talk about it." I can't talk to a counselor at school because if I told them that I wish that I just never existed in the first place, they would assume that I want to commit suicide and be qualified by law to report it. And I can't talk to any of my friends about it, because I don't trust them with personal things. I don't know what to do. |
Question: I had sex with my best friend's wife? Posted: 12 Sep 2017 03:08 PM PDT I feel like ****. I can't even sleep anymore. It's eating me inside. I want to ask his forgiveness, but I don't want to destroy his marriage. |

Question: What do you think of this situation and what should I do? Posted: 12 Sep 2017 02:26 PM PDT Ok so I was in the bus today and I stood next to a black women and held a railing because they were no more seats. Then some black kids that were boys and girls got on the bus and started talking loudly when they got on the bus and one of them was calling the other black kid a stereotypical name( a stereotypical name you would expect a black girl to have) and that you hear and the black woman I was standing next to looked up at me smiling as if that could be my name. I felt like the black woman did this because of the way I look. What do you think of this situation and what should I do? |
Question: Moving to Phoenix. Good or bad idea? Any advice? Posted: 12 Sep 2017 02:12 PM PDT I recently landed a new job. I am from Chicago and live here now. I only know Phoenix from my many travels there. I have yet to accept my new offer but it is hard to refuse ($75,000, benefits). I moved out to Minneapolis for 2 years for graduate school, and it was the first time I lived in a different city than Chicago. I found it very hard to meet friends, even in that college setting. Most people seemed closed off to their own groups and I rarely got invited to anything, and when I did, it was just a 1 on 1 hangout instead of in a group. I am 29. How easy is it to meet people my age in Phoenix who are open to new friends? I thought about joining meetup groups because I know that has worked well for some friends of mine who moved to other cities. I'm just afraid it will be like Minneapolis where most people were closed off and exclusive. Most of my friends and family are in Chicago, and I'm really weighing if $75k/yr is worth moving out there. I have a few friends in Phoenix right now, but they are usually really busy and can probably only meet up a few times a month. I'm looking for a social life that is a bit more frequent than that. Thanks for your help |
Question: Why do I always have to be the one who's pushed around by my family and friends? Posted: 12 Sep 2017 02:04 PM PDT Well now it's just family because I've rebelled and would rather be a happy loner who can finally have some time to myself for once than have a lot of friends who will drag me all over the place. It's enough I get that from my own flesh and blood. My mom is a big time hypocrite... she felt so sorry for my cousin having to sit through a movie she didn't want to see with a dictator of an uncle and that was only for an hour or so... but then she turns around and allows me to be pushed around by everyone 24/7... and whenever I confront her about it she claims I'm being selfish and this and that.... I want to die I never have any time for myself and I'm crying now 😢 |
Question: How to deal with being bullied and embarrassed by an entire class of 30? Question: Why are fellow moms so mean? Posted: 12 Sep 2017 01:56 PM PDT Years ago, I inquired help about co-sleeping with my child. One answer in particular recommended against it and politely so but everyone else who answered became mean and nearly hostile about someone daring to tell me not to co-sleep with my child. Anyway, I ignored the advice but turns out: they were right. I'm struggling to get my 4 year old to sleep in her own bed. And now I'm a bit annoyed that I listened to these other moms because I thought: "Well hey it sounds like they're calling out BS so I should listen to them." Looking back I realized how wrong I was. Why do you all have to be so mean? Why do you all think its okay to take your singular experience and apply to it everyone else? I don't know. It was super rude. And this isn't just with co-sleeping. If a mom disagrees, it's suddenly, "they don't know what their talking about." Like, kids are all different? Some kids respond well to certain things, others don't. Why do you all think you're the authority to everything? Get over yourselves. |

Question: Why are guys weird about this? Posted: 12 Sep 2017 11:52 AM PDT I've had several friends who were males invite me out to watch movies, have brunch, drinks, etc. it seems like every time I have a boyfriend, they all go away. And once I'm single, they are back to befriend me. I finally spoke up about it and asked why we can't just be platonic all the time? Why does there have to be some ulterior motive behind being a friend? Why are guys stupid like this? It's always an all or nothing thing with them. |
Question: How to get get revenge on a friend? Posted: 12 Sep 2017 11:32 AM PDT my friend has been an a total asshole and a douche to me humiliating me and lying to my friends about me how do i pay him back by revenge |
Question: Why does nosing into everyone's business cause so many problems? Posted: 12 Sep 2017 11:24 AM PDT I am trying to help but I get nothing but yelled at and asked to be left alone. I don't understand. And I wanted to know why my neighbours husband was watching a tv show I don't like. Like I wanted to know why my sister was copying her license and I misunderstood and told my mom she was copying her license And it caused a huge fight. I also lose things a lot and ask people of they have them over and over and over while putting a flashlight in there face.It annoys them not sure why. I always feel the need to ask why people do things. I also hate when people do things the wrong way. |
Posted: 12 Sep 2017 10:14 AM PDT How do they tally up homecoming court? I know for a fact that people don't vote for the snobby kids, but they ALWAYS are the same people. Im a senior, and this is the fourth year the same girls and guys supposedly won?... They send us a survey on surveymonkey.com and thats how we chose to decide... But seriously people dont even vote, and the ones who do vote chose their friends... not them |
Question: I cant find any true friends? Posted: 12 Sep 2017 09:47 AM PDT I have people who will sit and pretend to be my friend just to use me. People will be nice to me and hang with me because either im popular or i have something they want. It is hard to tell who my real friends and it seems like i dont have any. I had four girls who were my friend but they all talk mean stuff behind my back and smile in my face. I could tell because we were in groups and I heard one of them tell one of them "I dont like her" Other people would only come talk to me when their best friend wouldnt come to school or when theyre alone. I even have a guy friend who brings me down every time when another girl or a guy gives a compliment. |
Posted: 12 Sep 2017 09:47 AM PDT I'm a guy and she's a girl. We hit it off instantly at work. We used to have the best times and we never had any disagreement at all. She was the perfect colleague. So after we both quit the job, we kept in touch, occasionally phoning one another and talking for hours, catching up on each other's news and reminiscing about good old times. Long story short, the more time was passing, the more we grew apart. I'm not sure if she had any feelings for me, but I made it clear that I considered her as a friend, a sister, nothing more. Last time, I sent her a text and she didn't answer back. She did read it, and that's what makes me sad. Do you think I should call her up and correct any misunderstanding, or accept that this is life and friends come and go? |
Question: My friend lose a lot of money? Posted: 12 Sep 2017 08:12 AM PDT my friend run the hotel, the other day,my best friend and I were glad to be back at the hotel where he live, found that the hotel was turned the upside down, about $1000 worth of computer device was gone, the hotel was ransacked of all that was worth anything,my friend run up some debts on his credit card, and ask me to lend him some money, this put me in a difficult position,I'm not rich, but how can I say no to my best friend,if you were in my shoes, what will you do |
Question: How do I figure out who to go live with? Posted: 12 Sep 2017 07:48 AM PDT I'm almost 14 and my (single) mom passed away in June. It has been difficult, but I've had a lot of emotional help and I am doing reasonably well. But I need to make a decision of where to live, and it is really difficult. My dad and I have next to no relationship. He left when I was 2 and we have barely had any contact since. He is offering to take me, but I think it would be really awkward, he's never really been in my life, he is remarried with kids of his own, and he hardly sounds excited about me now, more like he is "willing" because it is the right thing to do. The other option is my aunt, who is married to a wonderful man and has 2 daughters I am very close with. She loves me, wants to adopt me, wants to make me part of the family. And I want that too. But she has also been very clear that if I want to live here, that means her treating me the same as she does them, and her discipline does include spankings......only as a last resort, not common, but they do happen, and she isn't willing to negotiate. And right or wrong she is steadfast on this, and my age does not change her opinion. I've never really been spanked (like maybe once when I was little), I'm a total wimp about pain, and this really scares me. I'm a good kid and rarely in trouble, but I'm not crazy enough to think I'll NEVER get in trouble, especially because she is fairly strict (reasonable, but strict). So it really scares me. But so does living with a "father" I don't really know.... Advice??? |
Question: Should I tell my friends about my problems? Posted: 12 Sep 2017 07:17 AM PDT I was sick a week ago and I've been suffering a mental break down for a while. It's been about a week an a half. I've tried to go to school but I just can't do it. My friends are the best but we've never been close enough to tell each other personal problems. I keep telling them I'll be in school in a few days. They keep asking where I am on a daily I started to ignore them and I feel really bad. I don't want to tell them my problems but, I also don't want them thinking I don't like them or something. What should I do? I feel like ignoring them until I actually know what's going on but, I don't wanna be rude. |
Question: Why would she do this? Posted: 12 Sep 2017 06:55 AM PDT I recently reconnected with my ex that lives in a different state. We broke up two years and I missed her. I have been seeing (dating women). She came to visit and I had a good time with her and her kids. It was good to see her. She called me the other day and told me that she received an anonymous letter and a book at her job that said that said all of these bad things about why is getting back with me after I cheated on her and that I still a player. It was addressed to her job and had the return address to her home. When she tracked the package it was tracked by to a post office that is near where one of the women I was seeing works so I assumed that she sent it. I noticed around the same time this woman had unfriended me on fb and I'm sure she's mad because I'd stood her up several times and wasn't calling or making time for her anymore. When I text her to asked if she sent any letters lately she said no. I'm sure it was her but I can't prove it. How did she even get all of my ex's information in another state. Her and my bf are close and I thought maybe he told her about me reconnecting with my ex and he wanted to get back with me for sleeping with a couple of his ex girlfriends. Why would she do that though? Why are women so vindictive? |
Question: Found out my "friend" has hated me for yrs, now what? Posted: 12 Sep 2017 06:24 AM PDT I'm 35, as is my friend. I've known her since grade school. I've been giving her rides to work for years, and finally emailed her and said that she'd have to make other arrangements, that I've been taking her for years and there is no end in site. (she doesn't have a license). I suggested she learn to drive if only to and from work and that I think it would benefit her. She wrote me back with basically excuses for herself on the driving issue. But also wrote how she's wanted to take a break from me since 2003. How she can't believe she's even my friend. How I'm fat, lazy (I work 40 hours) immature, neglect myself, how I'm in credit card debt (I may rack them up, but I always take on jobs to pay them off) and have so much to work on... I discovered that she's a narcissist, she came across as being perfect while she was hoping I'd change. I've always gone out of my way for her.. Basically all these years she's been pretty much a mooch and I basically paid for everything when we hung out. February she wanted to see a band over an hour a way that I never heard of and I took her... Basically she's painting me as a horrible person, while I've done all the giving and she's done all the taking.. I'm just disgusted by a person who would pretend to like someone for years, but cut them off as soon as the gravy train came to a end... Please give me advice on how to pick better friends in the future, I'm to old to keep bottom feeders around. |

Question: How to deal with my brother's violent jealousy? Posted: 12 Sep 2017 03:25 AM PDT My brother has a friend who he is violently jealous of because he used to be less than him at some points, but now he is greater than my brother. It all started two years ago when they were playing videogames, my brother was a step over his friend , which made his friend determined to beat my brother in vidgames, so his friend practices alot till he meets my brother again and beats him. My brother doesn't like the fact that his friend takes everything as a challenge between them(My brother prefers group playing as fun more than a challenge) and felt annoyed that his friend is better at videogames, but he moved on (Although my brother was excessively annoyed by how his friend brags alot about how he won over my brother, which made my brother very furious but he kept it to himself) Recently, his friend out-grew him in maths, which made my brother so angry and frustrated, talking about how his friend stole everything from him and how he hates life because he has no higher talent than anyone (Particularly his friend), he speaks violently about him and said that if his friend ever bragged about being better at maths, he will leave him for a long time (or maybe end friendship for sometime) I don't like the way he thinks, I tried to talk to him, he got my points and agreed somehow, but told me that forgiveness will come by time (he is human and it would take a while for him to cool down. But what should I do? Does anyone have an explanation about why did he think so violently? |

I feel like I cant stop myself from doing it and I don't know how to fix things anymore, we have been friends for so long we are practically family, and I just don't know how to distance myself from ruining things even more and potentially ruining this friendship. |
Question: My friends are being major cockblocks, any tips? Posted: 12 Sep 2017 01:28 AM PDT I thought I'd go into a bit more detail. For instance I will be in a group with one or more friends and then at least 8 girls, I'll be flirting and they keep trying to tackle me or make fun of me. And then when I was about to smash this one girl at my friends house the d*ck took off the door hinges and poked a hole in my condom. |

Posted: 11 Sep 2017 11:21 PM PDT I met these girls that literally criticize everything about anybody they lay their eyes on. We'll be walking into Walmart and right away out of nowhere "Ew look at her hair" Or "that black spot on her leg is disgusting". Well that "black spot" is something she was born with and there's nothing she can do about it. And then when someone says the slightest thing about them, even if it's as a joke, they literally cry sometimes... I feel like such a bad person when I'm around them and I want them to realize what they're doing Is wrong without ruining our friendship. Because beside their hardcore judgment, I really like them. |
Question: Is it weird that we are such good friends for an age difference ? Posted: 11 Sep 2017 10:56 PM PDT I have a good friend who I'm very close to. She's 50 and I'm 19, she's become a special friend of mine, one you rarely come across. We get a long so well for our age difference, we have so many similar life experiences, especially for me being so young. We talk all the time, over the phone mostly because we live far. She will help me through my life problems and I will help her, she's so supporting and caring, consdering she's a blunt and reserved person. We can talk about anything and everything, we've cried to each other on the phone and have helped each other get through tough times. I'm completely comfortable with her and I assume she is too as we have shared so many important private things with each other. She's a great friend and mentor to me. She helped me when I reached a low point in my life, said how special I was to her and that she would be heart broken if anything ever happened to me. She's even gotten after me at times, she's a dog person but always caring.. is it weird that we are such good friends for our age differences ? |

Question: I get jealous when my best friend talks to ny other friend? Posted: 11 Sep 2017 09:34 PM PDT It's weird. I was fine with them talking before but now I got get jealous when they talk when I'm there? And the thing is I'm fine with her talking with other people and my other friends, in fact it makes me happy they all get along, but with that one person I just get jealous. Posted: 11 Sep 2017 09:14 PM PDT I havent made a single friend in 3 years. All my friends never talk to me, they invite each other out to places right in front of me and never invite me. Whenever I try to talk to someone they seem like they're annoyed. I've been told by many people that I'm quiet and I believe them, but once I open my mouth they seem to want me to shut up. Is it what I talk about that people hate? |
Question: How to tell my internet friend I like anime? Posted: 11 Sep 2017 09:13 PM PDT So, i'm a nerd. A really big nerd. I'm kinda weeby but I try to hide it. I met this girl online (on social media) and we'be been really close friends for more than a year, but the thing is that she doesn't know how weeby i am. My account i talk to her on is kind of dead so i wanted her to follow my spam acc, but that one has a lot of fandom stuff on it and i'm lowkey terrified that she'll judge me. My typing style is a lot worse and laid back on there too, so I fear that she'll view me completely differently and I won't know what to do. But if i don't tell her, i'll just be hiding it forever basically. Has anyone ever been in a situation kind of like this where they don't wanna tell someone stuff about them due to fear of rejection?? She's a really nice person and all but I'm still scared. She's significantly more popular than me (but still a genuinly good person!) so I don't know if she would find me too nerdy or different tbh |
Question: Is it bad that I just lay in bed all day and go to school? Posted: 11 Sep 2017 09:06 PM PDT I barely write anything or do anything fun. All I do is sit at home, watch YouTube videos, go to school for three hours and go to bed. I don't have any friends and the only friend I did have is always hanging up on me on the phone or telling me how they'll reading a book and can't talk of block my number when I call. I'm a senior in high school and this has been my life for the last seven years, is this bad? |
Question: My best friend and roommate mom hates me... to the next level.? Posted: 11 Sep 2017 08:57 PM PDT My best friend (who actually coincidentally became my roommate) mom hates me... to the level of calling me names, not letting me in their house (if I do make it in she will be horrible towards me), she refuses to speak to my friend if she even mentions me, and if she sees me walking in our apt she will hang up and not talk to my friends for days because I am "trash". I recently found out that she has gone to the level of now not only tracking my friend when she is with me but stalks my Facebook, if I block her she will go on other people's account to stalk me... I'm in my early twenties and this woman is in her 50s. I'm not sure I understand her severe hatred for me, and while I don't want to cause my friend trouble I highly believe her mother is border line crazy enough to harm me or even her... I suppose I need advise on what to do. I find it highly inappropriate that she would go to great lengths to stalk me... any advice would be appreciated. |
Question: I'm being bullied and i'm so tired of it i want to hurt them help? Posted: 11 Sep 2017 08:54 PM PDT i'm getting bullied i been ignoring forever but now it's getting too much i get laughed at for walking to my locker and get picked on my hair my mom did for me and i get picked on for getting beat up i hate school i don't have nobody i am tired of coming home and crying it hurts so much that i will hurt one of the girls so bad omg i am so hurt i even thought about taking my life |
Posted: 11 Sep 2017 08:37 PM PDT Smart that they are? Some brag about being overachievers like ome girl said "I am so glad that I do well im school unlike some people" and she shows her grades and has 5 A's and 2 B's. She is taking all honors classes and plays 2 sports. She also makes fun of a big breasted girl at school and calls her unaboob and she bullies a kid with Autism. |
Posted: 11 Sep 2017 08:33 PM PDT Like if one of my friends got married and then got divorced that would be so awesome! *starts eating popcorn* 🍿 |
Question: Will I get suspended from school for this? Posted: 11 Sep 2017 08:31 PM PDT so I'm a senior and wanna do something funny. I planned on running across the field during a timeout, like someone from a class 2 years ago did. He never got caught, prob because he did it in the heat of the moment. So I wanted to do it, I told one person my plan, and now a TON of kids know, even the football team. I thought it was all fun and games, but now everyone is expecting me to do it. I thought about, and I'm applying to schools, I don't want to have to explain a suspension to a college admissions. Obviously if I'm only getting detention, I'm okay with it, but a suspension is a whole other level. I planned on wearing a morph suit, and having a friend pick me up on the other side. Obviously if the police don't stop me, and I get in the car, the only thing I'm gonna have to worry about is someone snitching, because it's the first home game, and the principals are gonna wanna sniff out that behavior at the beginning of the year. Which I'm afraid they'll make me an example if I get ratted out. Does anyone have an opinion on this? |
