Question: Fiance's brother died and now we're taking a break. What could this break mean? Posted: 26 Sep 2017 09:28 PM PDT His older brother died 3 weeks ago in a car accident. They were three years apart and really close growing up. He lived a few hours away so I didn't know him that well but I liked him a lot. At first, it just happened so fast. He was devastated the days leading up to the funeral and right after and really leaned on me. Then it kind of transitioned to him trying to go through the motions but being kind of numb. A week ago, he told me he wanted us to take a break and to be alone. So he rented a room somewhere. I said okay because I felt like if he asked for a break to heal, he needed it. And it was a little relief because I was being strong for him but it was hard to see him hurting and being around him so depressed. He texted me twice in 6 days to ask me how I was. He called me today and told me he wanted to hear the sound of my voice and asked me if I understood that he loved me and he wasn't mad at me and I said ok. I asked if he wanted to see me and at first he said no. But then he said ok. I brought him dinner. We talked and had sex. I asked if he would come home and he said he'd check out tomorrow. I guess I'm just not understanding what the break meant. I don't fully get how isolating himself would make him feel better or if it says anything about our relationship that he wouldn't want to lean on me but I'm hoping things will be better and return to normal. |
Question: Should I apologize to my wife? Posted: 26 Sep 2017 08:34 PM PDT I forgot her birthday. It was an accident. Doesnt mean I don't love her. doesn't mean I don't care about her. It's a goddamn accident. Sometimes, I forget my own birthday. |
Question: Have I been cheating on my wife with a computer? Posted: 26 Sep 2017 07:50 PM PDT |
Posted: 26 Sep 2017 07:26 PM PDT I definitely agree that once a person turns 18 or older, he or she is within his or her rights to have a sexual relationship with a partner regardless if anyone, such as a parent, opposes. However, many older adults as well as my family relatives think that waiting till marriage is what must be accomplished before this. Here in the U.S., the legal age of consent is usually 18 and it doesn't say you have to married, it just says you have to be 18 or older. My guess is that marriage doesn't matter. I understand that some people just want to wait until marriage and I respect their decisions. We are all different. What do you guys think? By the way, I'm not trying to argue, I'm just expressing my opinion. |
Question: How do I tell my husband I don't want to be married anymore..? Posted: 26 Sep 2017 06:54 PM PDT Long story short, he is a recovering addict and we met and moved really quick in our relationship in the first year of his recovery. I know, lots of mistakes in one sentence.. we eloped after 3 months of dating and we moved out of state to get him away from relapsing but he did it anyway more than once and just did it again the other day. He refuses help, and I don't know how to help him, he spends all our money when he relapses. There's no amount of yelling, guilt trips, tears, begging or pleading to get him to straighten up and he wont do it on his own. I feel like I can't leave him by himself because he will screw everything up.. He's mean and distant.. there's no romance or passion anymore.. he wont talk to me or listen to anything I have to say. I don't want to cry anymore. I just want to be alone. |
Question: Is there a way to get my daughter's marriage annulled? Posted: 26 Sep 2017 06:48 PM PDT My issue is that my bipolar 21yr old daughter ran off for 2 days and returned with a marriage license stating she was pregnant and married. I'm not sure if she's seriously pregnant but I met her husband, a young foreigner, and he claims he did not know she was bipolar. This girl has been committed to psych observation 4 times in the past, with the most recent being this year. Her mind is not well. I realize she is an adult but obviously she is not one of sound mind to make the decision to marry. I want to know if I can annul the marriage on that basis or any other one. Thank you for your time. |
Posted: 26 Sep 2017 06:06 PM PDT me asking too come me him to sign paperwork. He refuses to mail, have someone bring, or duty give me the divorce paperwork. This is the second time he has called harassing me over the phone saying I need to met him at bank to fill out paperwork. I told him to just file for divorce if that what he wants. Instead he keeps ringing up my phone even calling my mother. I told my mother not to get involved. Now he stating he never filed and wants me to fill out paperwork. I told him I refusing to sign anything until he serves me papers because I refuse to meet him. We live in Michigan and the last time I checked you file for divorce first then send the paperwork, then send it off to judge, and etc. He even stated he wants to met with our church pastor. My mom whenever I talk with her about it I get frustrated because she believes his lies about needing to do extra paperwork. I'm afraid he might trying to do something illegal or get me to sign not proper paperwork. I spoke with attorney & lawyers. I'm not aware of any other paperwork besides the filing and the complaint which he is refusing to give me or any info unless I met him. Yes he has my address and how to reach me. I thinking of filing on my own just to stop all this. Please anyone have info would be grateful thanks. |
Question: Is getting married the only choice for me now? Posted: 26 Sep 2017 05:48 PM PDT I quit my job to become a full time student in the dental school. But we took our first exams and I failed all the exams for the classes. We had been in school for 3 weeks now. If I get kicked out of the program, my mom would yell at me and since I was the the main income in the family paying the bills. It was difficult for them I had to quit job and become full time student. But now I hate the stress so I am thinking of just getting married and becoming a housewife. I never wanted to become a housewife, I always looked down at them but now I feel like they have a good life |

Question: Why does my ex ignore me act rude in public after 4 months as the dumper? Posted: 26 Sep 2017 04:12 PM PDT We have a child together and i just walked up and said hi to my son in the grocery store and she basically ignored me and when I went to ask her a question she replied very rude and said yah okay whatever. Why is she like this ? At child hand offs she's nice and sometimes rude. |
Posted: 26 Sep 2017 03:34 PM PDT I can't afford a lawyer, so I drew up some diy papers from the court website but I'm very limited in legal knowledge. I didn't want the divorce, but he won't come home, won't speak to me, etc. So I don't feel I have many options but divorce. We have no kids or property together and I don't even know where he is. I don't want any money or assets he might have. I just want out and to keep my last name. And even that I would give up if he would sign. He doesn't take issue with me keeping it. He always has some excuse why he can't sign. He wants to take extra time to have someone translate the documents to him in his first language, which is fair, but he has said this for a month. And he only wants one specific attorney to translate the document, who is not even licensed to practice in the US. Why won't he sign when he's already left me? I don't have the 3000 dollars people want to help me file this divorce and I feel it's unfair for him to keep me tied to him after leaving and not even telling me where he is. |
Question: I had sex with my husband's best friend? Posted: 26 Sep 2017 03:33 PM PDT My husband's best friend told me that husband cheated when they were having 2 weeks business trip in Vietnam, he had unprotected sex with more than 7 prostitutes. He said i should take revenge by having sex with him and should even get impregnated by him, so my hubby will raise our child, that will be the best revenge and get even. I always trust him so I was so mad after I found out hubby was cheating. I ended up having sex twice with his friend 4 days ago and he came inside me each time. Now i wonder if he lied about my husband was cheating, or even his friend was the one having sex with prostitutes. Beacaus my hubby told me his friend had unprotected sex with many prostitutes over there and his friend even had 3some. He was disappointed about his friend's insane behaviour. Not only that, my private parts have been itching after having sex with his friend. I am unsure if he has std. Also I am worried if I will be pregnant. Is it too late to take pills? His friend keeps messagaing me about having sex again. I don't know what to do now. He also took pictures of my private area after he ejaculated inside me. He said he would keep them private and no worry. Will he show that to my hubby? Did my hubby really cheat? |
Posted: 26 Sep 2017 12:35 PM PDT We don't argue more than normal people. But it's clear she doesn't love me and I think she will divorce me when the kids go to college. I love my children it would be nice if she divorced me so I could blame it on her. I know that's childish. I'm tempted to stay for the next five years. That's probably what I'll do. I would be curious to know your thoughts? |
Question: Wife forces me to do stuff? Posted: 26 Sep 2017 11:33 AM PDT Not like chores or anything, but like go out with HER friends, couples I don't like. I've tried to give the benefit of the doubt, I just don't mesh with them. Anyway, she loves going out with them. When I say I don't want to go, and want to stay home, she says that I'm whining and should " buck up". To avoid a fight, I just go, am miserable. Why does she make me go? It'd be so easy to just say, " He's working late" |

Question: How do you deal with a spouse who never invites you to things? Posted: 26 Sep 2017 09:54 AM PDT Your husband is always doing things without you and never invites you to do things with him. He will invite his kids (from his previous marriage) to do activities with him or his mom or hide friends but never includes you. He will do things such as kickboxing classes, karate classes, art class, yoga, political rallies etc and never invite you.How do you handle this? If you mention it he calls you selfish and says you should be happy for him and his kids and mom and not always think about yourself. |
Question: Why does he persist in calling me "baby" if he doesn t want to be married anymore? Posted: 26 Sep 2017 07:13 AM PDT My husband and I had a large fight in August. I was so hurt by the fact that he stonewalled me and basically abandoned me after that I asked for a divorce. It was too soon to ask for one, but I have felt I don t have a choice because he is basically gone and doesn t really speak to me. I have asked him to sign divorce papers and he continuously has some excuse why he can t. We don t have property or children together and I absolutely would never ask for any money from him. We ve only been married a year. I d very much like not to give up on him, and every time he calls me "baby" it makes me feel hopeful that he ll make some effort. This was specifically his pet name for me, and he uses my given name when he s mad at me. I don t want to feel regret over giving up on my marriage but at the same time not putting any effort into our relationship while calling me baby is making me really mad. He also mentioned I m still called "My Wife" in his phone. Is this something people just do to mess with your mind? |

We are in our early 50s and have 2 adult children and 1 minor (15 years) Anyone advise please, should I move out of the matrimonial home?? Can I start afresh?? My daughter, the minor loves his dad and has vowed to stay with him should I go. |

Question: Im going to university and my wife wants divorce.? Posted: 26 Sep 2017 03:38 AM PDT Hi. Im a 36 year old man who has been working as a mechanic. I have never been to university so I have been studying the SAT and stuff for 3 years and I got accepted to UCLA. I drive uber at night and work as a part time aircraft mechanic on weekends at a small cargo airline but my wife is mad about it and she says she wants to file for divorce. What can I do? Is she selfish? She says I make less money. I used to make $5,500/month until last summer. Now I make $3000. |
Question: Do you think my South Korean wife ever see my full face those eyes? Posted: 26 Sep 2017 02:42 AM PDT I had no idea how she liked me maybe she doesn't see my full face. Maybe she had this surreal mental image of me that is incredibly handsome. |

Question: How to show my wife I ve changed.? Posted: 25 Sep 2017 10:32 PM PDT I ve been separated from my wife for over 6 months now. I m trying really hard to show I ve changed into a better man I m working very hard at it but it seems like she just doesn t care. I haven t really shown change until just recently. Something drastic happened, now I m changed I notice it everything has changed I wonder if it s too late and if I should just let it go. I don t want to though. I ve worked so hard now and got so far in such a short time I don t want this to be all for nothing. She said to change for me not for her maybe I m going about it all wrong. I want to know how can I show her this. She won t return any of my calls or texts I see her at times but I don t get out of the car and rush to her and beg her for a chance which I ve got numerous times, just taken this long for it to sink in. I know I sound like a complainer, looking for a quick answer here but I m desperate for a answer I don t think I ve got much time I think she might even be seeing someone else. I don t think she is but I could be in denial too. At least that s what my father is saying: I m in denial and that I m doing everything for the wrong reasons. I want to show her that I m changed and changed for good I know I m grabbing at strings here but I want to almost just hear her voice. Just know that it isn t for nothing this changing that I m becoming a better person to better our relationship and salvage this. I want this to happen but she has alienated me and so I don t know what to do. |
