Just so you know, I m a sophomore in high school. So, me and a guy I ve known for a bit have been thinking about going on a date. I really just want to know him even better and make sure he s ok to be around (I don t live the drug life yo). But there s a catch, my parents are very overprotective (mainly my mom). They are very nosy, and have invaded my privacy multiple times. If I wanted to hang out with a friend, I could only have her over at my house, and even if I got to go to their s, they get weird and start talking about how we probably did really stupid stuff (it s unlikely, believe me). If I wanted to hang out with a group of friends in town, it s a no all the way. Unless they aren t there every second, I can t do most stuff. So I m a little scared to confront them with the idea of a date. I m just concerned that they might interrogate his parents and then him or something, I don t know. I don t want them to scare him off, or just make it really awkward for both of us. I understand that they want to keep me safe, but is it too much? Please help.

My daughters very first day of school was yesterday and to me that's a HUGE deal. It's one of the most memorable times in a child's life. My ex (her father) has never cared about stuff like that either. It was really important for me to have my daughter stay over at my house the night before so I could get her ready for school, take pictures etc. but when I asked him if I could keep her that night he said no because his girlfriend wanted to do something special for her first day of school and take pictures. Which by the way he has TEMPORARY physical custody. So another woman who's only been around for less than a year shared that memorable day I've waited almost 5 years for with my daughter instead of her own mother.. that's just how I look at. Am I over reacting? Does anyone else feel like their child's first day EVER of school is a really important and memorable time?

I've been at a low place in my life and I'm just not doing too great.. I have a special friend, she and I have a special bond.. my friend has noticed and has checked up on me a lot lately because of how I've been, I cried to her on the phone the other day as I wasn't doing great at all. She's helped me through a lot of dark times.. on the phone she was there for me, helping me tak through stuff but she told me she's monitoring me and watching what I post and making sure I'm fine or not doing anything dumb. She even put me in check the other day (got after me) for considering something bad. She even told me if things got worse she'd call my family.. She's super caring to me but we have a close bond for such different ages but why is she all over me? I'm 19 and she's 60, we're very close friends.. like I had said, she's very concerned. She said I was like her own kid (she has no kids) and even threatens to drive all the way over here and whip my butt. Why is she so worried? She even gave me her address if I needed anything (when I am around her town) to go by whenever I needed to.. why would she trust me so much to give me her address? Not saying I would break her trust but why is she being so loving?

I have been seeing a guy (for about 2 months) who I knew was my cousin. I didn't know how we were related though, I thought he was just some distantly related relative- no big deal. Then last week, my Grandpa (maternal) sadly passed away and he came to the funeral. I took it as an opportunity to find out how exactly we are related. It turns out his father and my maternal grandmother were siblings. Is this quite a close relationship? Should I end this thing? He is actually the best thing to happen to me in long time- relationship wise.

So I'm getting scared. This guy admitted to me he was in love with me over a year ago and I didn't feel the same and he would always send me sexual gross messages that made me uncomfortable so I cut him off. Ever since then he's continued making fake profiles to try to add me and see what I'm up to. I also just found out he added me on snapchat on a fake account OVER A YEAR AGO.. And looked at my stories ever since. I deleted him off it and I'm freaked out how do I get him to stop? He is 23 years old??

My bestfriend and I are extremely close, we talk about everything, we've been through it all with each other.. 2 years ago her boyfriend committed suicide, it was extremely hard on her. She's talked to me about it a lot, I'm going through the same thing now, except my friend committed suicide... I want to ask my bestfriend how she could handle the pain and moving on after his passing, just because I'm struggling with my friends suicide, but I'm afraid to ask her.. we always ask each other questions but would I be bad for asking her how she could handle it or how she stayed strong after his passing? I want to ask but like I said, I'm afraid. I don't want to ask a a bad time. I always send random messages asking for advice about things but this is different. Do you think she'd be mad for asking?

So i been living with my gf for 5 months, and ever since we moved in I feel like I been doing all the cleaning around the house more and more often. I hate it to say the least. I come home from work everyday and end up cleaning weather she is home or not.. it just sucks and I'm thinking about moving out soon. For example, I ask my girl to take out the trash a few times and she stated "That's a man's job".
